Everything here was perfect! I have been trying out multiple different Chinese restaurants in the area and finally found the best one! The only downside is it isn't the best place to sit down and eat but it is the best take out Chinese place to go to. In the photo I got the bourbon chicken dinner, white rice, lomain noodles. Overall it cost $18 and it lasted 4 meals!! Finally a place with good portions! It also tasted incredible and I will definitely be going back. The people working were all very nice and friendly. Highly recommend for a takeout night.

I have ordered different dishes from Eastern China and have been satisfied. Quick delivery, tasty dishes, generous portions. I decided to order their broccoli beef dish for the first time. Although very tasty, I was surprised at the amount of broccoli versus beef there was. After removing the broccoli (just to see) there was exactly 12 pieces of meat (yes, I counted). Again, for the most part their food is fairly good as is the service however, I probably won't be ordering any more broccoli dishes. Otherwise, I give Eastern China a 9/10.

Plentiful portion of white rice.

We've grabbed take out here on several occasions, however it's a very different feel if you sit down to eat. Summary: Pros: a) Good location. b) Consistently high quality fresh food. c) The team is willing to try to adapt for special requests. d) Good pricing. e) Great variety. Cons: a) Less than clean, and understocked restroom. OK, the only paper available was in the form of napkins at the cash register. b) The new crew seem to be comfortable eating, grabbing money, and boxing up to-go orders without washing their hands. c) We had to clean the dining room table. d) Although they have multiple tables and chairs for eating in, based upon what we experienced, it would be hard to recommend eating in. If we hadn't been meeting someone here, we would have just taken the food to go, however since we tried to endure a sit down experience in a clearly designed for take out facility, we took in a different perspective. It might have been a bad day, however cleanliness doesn't seem to be a strength. This should be an easy fix, and we'll be looking at these areas prior to buying take out in the future.

Even though there are some delicious and authentic Chinese places in the Cary area, I was really craving some takeout Chinese last night and boy did this place hit the spot! Did a quick google search and found this place to be less than a 5 min drive away. No menu online or anything so I decided to just walk in and order. Food took a little longer than some of the reviews below said (about 30 mins on a Sunday night at 7:30), but the food was tasty and the portions were HUGE. I got a small size (pint) of General Tso's Chicken and Pepper Steak for $5 each and they came with rice as well. And this will easily feed me for 3-4 meals! Also, the pork fried rice here is absolutely delicious (and I'm normally not a big fan of fried rice). The interior of the place is decently sized for a takeout joint, but I wouldn't really recommend eating there. There is a 10 dollar minimum on credit cards and they only accept Mastercard or Visa. I will definitely be back here when I am craving Chinese take out in the future!! Food: 4/5 Other: 5/5 (Service: N/A, Value: 5/5)

This is obviously a gathering place for Chinese families based on the numerous times that I've been there. Service may sometimes be a bit slow due to throng of customers arriving at the same time (6-7pm), but food never disappoint when they come out steaming hot, tasty and generous portion. Rice is well-cooked and complimentary. Staff/servers are efficient, patient, polite, and always carry a pleasant demeanor despite their busy tasks. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better dining experience (warm and cheerful ambiance) than Acacia. Highly recommended. On a side note, some of the food that I've enjoyed... Mixed seafood tofu clay pot stew Shredded pork and eggplant clay pot stew Squirrel fish Chinese meatballs (aka Lion's head) Shredded pork with bamboo shoots Walnut shrimp in coconut sauce Stir fry green beans Basil eggplant and more... to try. The ingredients were quite fresh and I liked that all the dishes were not too oily. I would come back and order the same stuff but nothing really stood out and made me go "wow". We arrived for lunch around 12pm on Monday and we were the first ones there. We tried to order a chicken dish but were notified the chicken was out for some time... a bad look for sure. It's definitely an underrated restaurant though that may not get as many customers as it deserves because of its location, so definitely try this place out if you're nearby! 4.5/5

The lunch special pricing is definitely the main draw, and it's hard to beat for the amount of food you get. That said, the execution is a bit mixed. The General Tso's chicken was very bready, with not as much actual chicken as I would've liked, which took away from the overall experience. Another downside is that they've removed the free soup that used to come with the lunch special. It's a small thing, but it did add value before and is missed. One more thing for me is that they have no ice, so you are having luke warm water or drinks. Overall, it's not bad for a quick, affordable meal, but there are enough small drawbacks that it lands more in the average category. Decent value, just not something that stands out.

Simply put, everything we ordered was a home run. The soup - Wonton - was splendid. The broth had far more kick, far more substance, far more taste than the stuff we've managed to get at other local restaurants - and more clearly matched what I've eaten in Chinese restaurants throughout Southeast Asia . . . and, of course, in my few trips to Beijing. The egg rolls immediately made me think of this little hole-in-the-wall take-out Chinese joint in Brooklyn that I recall . . . from fifty years ago. The place was situated on the corner of Bay Parkway and 86th street, right at the point where the elevated track for the B train was located - and immediately became my father's first stop as he descended the station's stairs at the end of his workday, leading right to the front door of that cookery. He always ordered an egg roll or two, ate one standing in the entryway to the cook shop, and brought several home. Those Szechuan Garden egg rolls immediately, for me, resonated with the vigorous, deep taste of those Brooklyn delectables. We had a simple fish dinner with white rice, and an eggplant cooked deeply and wrapped in a thin dough covering - never had eggplant that way before and it was, again, a home run. The fish was so very simple, so very tasty - unforgettable. Thankfully, we have enough leftovers to make for another great meal today. We now have a new favorite restaurant near our home in Durham.

We were ravenous, but had an intense Chinese food craving, so we ordered Chengdu 7 food from Uber Eats. Food did not disappoint! Fan favorites were the Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice, but honestly EVERYTHING was good. Every dish was wonderful. And for anyone who has not tried the hand pulled noodles here you really must try them - they are a highlight of a meal - incredibly delicious with a wonderful texture. The flow of food to our table was great, not too fast or rushed and not too slow. Our waitress was wonderful and ensured that our group had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.

The quail egg was the heart of it. Got the bone broth this time. While the broth is good, it's not great to the point I'd crave for this. I'm honestly not a big fan of the rice noodles but they went well with the broth. My girl got the noodle dish with the beef tripe, and we also ordered beef tripe for appetizer and milky rice cake for dessert. The beef tripe is one of our favorite appetizers, and it's perfect with Japanese beer. The noodles are a bit spicy but the spice level was adjusted low to my girl's liking. The rice cakes were good but not the best we've tried. It's something we'd order again though. The fried dumplings were crispy, not at all greasy, and filled with very flavorful filling, coupled with a perfectly paired dipping sauce. The hotpot... oh, the hotpot, was filled with pillowy fried tofu, fatty and tender beef, cabbage, wood ear mushroom shreds, seaweed, bean sprouts, and a ton of noodles. All of this was swimming in some of the most amazing Szechuan peppercorn broth that was spicy, but not numbing and not overpowering. It was the perfect broth to wrap each ingredient in flavor. After I finished all of the delicious beef and veggies, I went for the noodles. I never really new what "bouncy" meant when describing noodles until today.
