I have been ordering takeout from Handy Kitchen for years! I went in to update my review and realized I have not written one yet so here it is... You should definitely order from Handy Kitchen. They provide affordable, accurate and satisfying meals. I particularly like their tofu, orange chicken, and lo mein dishes. It is easy to call and place an order and it's ready and accurate upon arrival. They are continuing to run during COVID-19. They do block off the dining area, recommend waiting outside until your order is ready, and wear masks. We have had numerous good experiences here and plan to continue ordering their delicious food!

I came right before a show at the Alamo Drafthouse around the corner, which makes it the perfect night out for dinner and show. It looks like a lot of people order takeout here, but they have ample tables and do offer an excellent dine in service. I loved their green beans and eggplant. All their food felt more authentic and homestyle than your typical run of the mill Chinese place. The food had flavor, and it wasn't overly greasy either! I'll definitely come back next time in near north Raleigh.

I ordered the lo mein, bamboo flounder fish, and a side of fried rice. Unfortunately, the lo mein was extremely greasy, the fried rice was overly salty, and the shrimp was hard, overcooked and not fresh. When I informed the waiter that I would not be eating the lo mein due to its condition, I was told that I would still have to pay for it and that it did not matter whether I liked it or not. He initially refused to remove the dish from my bill. After eventually taking it off, he told me that he never wanted to see my face again as I was leaving. What disappoints me most is that I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant and had been a repeat customer. The decline in food quality combined with the way my concerns were handled has left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have to say about this little gem, I've been cheating myself…read more Why is it that I moved to my current location in 2021, and never think to look at places on Six Forks Road? Maybe it's because I lived in Wake Forest, maybe it's because I work there still, IDK, but I've glad I can make up for lost time now. A friend wanted to meet for lunch and suggested this place. Funny thing, he got the orange chicken and didn't really like it. It is VERY orangey. I got one of the other lunch specials, I think maybe the beef basil one. Mine was good, so good in fact that a few weeks later when my family was needing an Asian fix, I sent them to Ni Asian. They were pleased, but got Chinese food. Last week, my daughter and I went, and wow, yes, WOW............I got the noodle dish listed first on menu (not a lunch special), ad it was good, but my daughter got the Pad See Ew, something I have never ordered, being a Drunken Noodle fan myself..........but I tasted hers, and it was so good, I was jealous. So, yeah, we went AGAIN yesterday, she got the Pad See Ew again, and I tried the Drunken Noodles, which were amazing..........not spicy like I'm used to getting, but so flavorful. What will I try next?

The bill was brought to us shortly before we stopped eating, but the staff were not over visiting the table to rush us. I left a double tip since we were there for over an hour during the lunch rush. Totally fair because, as I mentioned, there weren't many spaces available for eating in. I will definitely return to Ni Asian.

Fu Kee Express is a true one-man operation, which in itself is impressive. If you scroll through…read morethe photos on their profile, you'll get an accurate preview of what to expect--generous portions, packed containers, and flavorful food all prepared by the owner himself. Ordering can feel a bit unconventional. You can call to place an order, but only during specific hours when the phone is answered. There's no online ordering or third-party delivery, which makes sense given that this is a solo operation focused on quality and timely preparation. The best option is to stop in person, and depending on the day and time, expect a short wait. No eat in options either. The food absolutely hits the spot and easily satisfies any Chinese food craving. We especially enjoyed the sesame chicken, beef lo mein, Mongolian beef, crab rangoon, and beef teriyaki on a stick.

"Social Media made me do it"…read more Fu Kee Express does a lot of things correctly. I visited during lunch hours, so I avoided long lines and dinner rush. Owner was personable, kind, and very nice. This is not a dine in restaurant - be prepared for takeout only. Prices are higher than typical. Food was solid. Egg rolls better than most and not greasy. Pork fried rice very, very good. Rice is yellow (perhaps food coloring?) and delicious. I typically order no egg, no peas, no carrots, and add bean sprouts. Disappointed they don't offer bean sprouts, but I'm also tempted to add veggies upon next visit. Overall, rice was delicious. My biggest letdown was garlic shrimp and veggies. Shrimp were large - but slightly overcooked. Veggies also overcooked. Flavor fell a tad bit flat. I'm guessing it was me, and perhaps I had a bad day (which, IMO, affects flavor). I would definitely try again if I'm in the area. Fast casual Chinese: 3.7

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

Food was impeccable. I'll be back!…read more On a Saturday night around 8pm, I ordered a bunch of food for about 20 people as an impromptu post graduation dinner at my house. We were ravenous, but had an intense Chinese food craving, so we ordered Chengdu 7 food from Uber Eats. Food did not disappoint! We ordered sesame chicken, chef special fried rice, chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef*, shrimp fried rice, and everything was delicious! Fan favorites were the Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice, but honestly EVERYTHING was good. And you can tell a lot from a place by how they package your food: food was delivered in tightly seeled packs and labeled! It sounds minor, but is so helpful when you're feed 2 dozen hungry people. All in all, Chengdu 7 you truly made me a fan of you. I will most certainly be returning for more!

Every dish was wonderful. And for anyone who has not tried the hand pulled noodles here you really must try them - they are a highlight of a meal - incredibly delicious with a wonderful texture. The flow of food to our table was great, not too fast or rushed and not too slow. Our waitress was wonderful and ensured that our group had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.

Room for probably 3 diff groups of people to eat. There were tables to seat 4, two tall stool seats by the window facing the parking lot, and a tucked away spot with a folding chair beside it and had cups of utensils on it. I ordered the cold flour noodle with sesame sauce and the shaanxi mutton soak buns. Both were tasty and the cold noodles were refreshing. The employee described the mutton soak buns dish as a soup soaked pancake which is pretty accurate. It reminds me of a rice porridge but with chopped dough instead of rice. The restroom is in the back through the kitchen which is kinda cool because you can see them rolling out all the round flat bread that they use for the dishes. I'm guessing it's what they use for the rougamo (I've seen it at other Chinese restaurants described as a Chinese hamburger) and the shaanxi soak buns. It almost has a gnocchi type of consistency. It isn't your average fried rice and stir fry type of Chinese restaurant so if you're looking for something like that it might not meet your expectations. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. Also, get the plum juice. It's delicious!
