We ordered through Uber Eats and the food was very good and hot when it arrived. Also the protein portions were very good and we were able to get several meals out of each take out meal. read more

Was clean but food was bland. I liked the string beans and pineapple. Not sure what else to say. read more

Came on a Saturday afternoon around 5pm. Not busy at all, hard to park though because of the other businesses around. The inside is very early 2000s Chinese restaurant, it is very nice. They have karaoke which you can do anytime, I'm not sure if it's English music as well but they play Chinese music the entire time with music videos. It's pretty cool. The food was very disappointing. The buffet for two adults is $30.29 which is pretty decent. The buffet was lacking, the food was cold, there was no sushi and if there was it had been sitting out for hours on end. Cheese fried mussels were barely cooked and seasoned. The classics like general tso chicken, sesame chicken, spring rolls, etc were good. The options were lacking, nothing stuck out to me and it's not that much to choose from. Very disappointing. We were getting ready to grab our deserts and there was a roach on the plate. We let the owner know and they just removed the plate. read more

I really enjoyed myself here. Although I'm a vegetarian I can't believe the amount of things I was able to eat. Wow. My boyfriend also enjoyed it. read more

This is our go to spot when we don't feel like cooking or friends and family are visiting. The food is always good and flavorful. I can't say much about the ambience. If you want to sit down and grab a quick lunch, this is a good spot. It's also a good spot for a date (not a first one). I think this is a family-owned and operated establishment. The service is always respectful. read more

Hands down my favorite Chinese spot to grab food from. I haven't had anything bad. Ever. Food is always fresh and really quick with pickup ordering.. even when I order at the last minute. 10/10 read more

I haven't enjoyed Chinese American takeout since relocating from New York City. Jumbo raises the bar for the triangle. I decided to order via Uber Eats and was very satisfied. Chinese is my daughter's favorite takeout cuisine and we don't have it often because the food isn't good in North Carolina. I stumbled upon Jumbo and decided to take a chance. We ordered an Eggroll, fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice, Shrimp Lo Mein and fried scallops. Everything was good just like back home. The only thing the rice was missing was a fried egg. I can't wait to try the other menu items. read more

Customer service was amazing. Very clean location right across from Walmart. Has a buffet on the right side with tons of selections to choose from. Won ton soup, crab Rangoon's and chicken and broccoli with shrimp fried rice was a game changer!! read more

I have driven by this place numerous times since moving to Raleigh and looked at the ratings for this place and was truly hesitant to trying this place. I went in with hesitation and saw a sanitation rating of 90. It didn't deter me. The sanitation rating is something I am not all too familiar with since I am Originally from Florida and I have lived in upstate NY and we don't have that. Anyways I ordered a qt of the House special fried rice and brought it home. It was actually very good. The flavor was good. It tasted and smelled fresh. I will most likely order again. read more

Hi! This is for the Jumbo China on Leland ave near the Lowes Foods on 401. There are several other Jumbos and I know nothing about them. This place rocks...I have placed 5 takeout orders over the past few months, and everyone has been spot on. They are busy, so if you call to place your order and the line is busy or goes to voicemail keep trying. This is especially true on the weekends. Also they are closed on Mondays. read more

Great service. Good food, fast. Consistent. We order from Jumbo China near the Walmart on those nights we don't have the energy to cook (and this seems to be often lately!) we also order on Christmas! read more

I'm from CA, and this is the best Chinese food place I've found in my area. Their sauces are fantastic! The meats are always very tender and yummy! Actually, they are the best take out I've discovered in my 3 years here...my only comment is, its a GOOD THING we love broccoli because that is their MAIN FILLER - 50% of most of their dishes is broccoli! Lol! It must be really inexpensive back here! Lol! But it still is the best Chinese I've found back here. read more

I ordered a Chicken, broccoli, carrot, onion and bell pepper in a garlic sauce, extra spicy and it was DELICIOUS!! All of the vegetables were fresh and crisp, the chicken was very good and the sauce was amazing. I'm not from here and I am a very picky person and wow was this good food. read more

My husband brought a great Sesame Chicken home from Jumbo China. I definitely plan to get lunch there next week.

This is our offices go to place for Chinese food that delivers. It's also my go to place for when I feel like Chinese. They do have tables to sit at, but I usually get it to go. Here are the things I have really enjoyed here: Shrimp with lobster sauce Fried rice Egg rolls Wanton soup I can't comment on the general tso chicken since I have never had it, but the items I have had are excellent and no complaints. Even as leftovers the next day they are still great tasting. The place is clean and staff are adequate. read more

It's been approximately 6 months or so since I ordered takeout from the Jumbo China on Ronald Drive in Raleigh until tonight (12/30/22). I honestly have to express my absolute disappointment. The food was just ........ HORRIBLE (ALL of it). About four of us placed a nice size order and decided we would just do some type of casual Buffet style back at the house and so we had a very good selection of different types of menu items we've all ordered at least once in the past from this exact jumbo China location and we're pleased. Menu items, such as egg foo young, hot and sour soup, hibachi shrimp and steak with fried rice, Crab Rangoon, spring rolls, barbecue, spare ribs, moo goo gai pan, etc. We unfortunately were so shocked!!! The food was not even tolerable. The steak in the hibachi tasted like beef jerky but without the flavor of beef jerky, it was so bland and tough as rubber to be honest. The shrimp in the hibachi was VERY fishy tasting, the hot and sour soup had so much oil sitting right on the top, I've never had hot and sour soup that had THAT MUCH VISIBLE OIL just hanging out on top. The crab Rangoon was completely burnt, and because of that the inside filling was almost nonexistent, I am just absolutely turned off, and I don't think I will ever go back read more

Ver good food, clean establishment, great customer service. I did have to wait a few mins, while they cooked my food even though I called it in, because I specified no mushrooms. They had to remake The chicken and veggies. I will go back for sure. read more

If you absolutely are on your deathbed and starving like a poor child in a 3rd world country you might still not want to eat here... Absolutely disgusting, they just took my food put it in someone else's to go bag, then ran into the parking lot to retrieve the incorrect orders being mixed up, to then bring me the food they just brought from outside and put it in front of me and that my friends is absolutely disgusting read more

We have been searching for decent Chinese food since moving to Raleigh last year. This place has been the best, by far around our neighborhood. Front counter was pleasant, food prepared in about 10 minutes and pricing was good compared to the amount of food you receive. Ordered: 2 Sesame chicken 1 Hunan chicken 1 Crab Rangoon Rangoon was some of the best we've had, good amount of crab for price. We will be coming back here based on our first experience. read more

::le sighhhh:: Let's just say, when I wanted Chinese (rare) this was my go-to spot. Unfortunately, I will probably NOT return. It had been a while and I decided to get my usual beef and broccoli, well done no carrots or water chestnuts w/ pork fried rice +egg. Now...this has been TWICE within the past two months and the same thing. Chewy/mushy beef, definitely not cooked the way I asked, and tonight I think I received a fried egg (whole) with a side of rice. Huge pieces of burnt fried egg. Smh 2 stars bc the brown sauce is pretty okay. The guys who used to work in the kitchen apparently no longer work there and the guy behind the register, younger w/ dark hair is a smart ass. My quest for halfway decent Chinese in Raleigh continues... read more

Their service has dropped to new lows, just got my last lunch here. wasn't pleased the last time I ate here but decided to try one more time and was dissatisfied again. the Chinese gentleman who cooks apparently is not a chef at all, had to throw away my complete meal. food seems to be warned over, egg roll was old and dryed out, probably recooked as well. won'r visit or recommend again. read more

Been searching for a good Chinese food place ever since we moved here from NH in 2011. My go to is lo mein and beef teriyaki sticks and so far every place we had tried had overly greasy, overly saucy lo mein. Tried this place because it's around the corner from us and we were pleasantly surprised! This is the closest we have found to "New England style" Chinese food. We will definitely be going back. The lo mein was not swimming in grease, it was just right. Only issue was that the guy got up from his computer with a sigh before walking to the counter to take my husband's order, he seemed annoyed that we were ordering at the counter, but the food we tried is great so we can overlook that. read more

This used to be a good Chinese place until they change ownership l. My mommy, brother and I are the quest to find great Chinese food.

Stopped by this place b/c I was hungry and it was right where I happened to be...big mistake. The food was absolutely disgusting. The crab rangoon tasted very fishy and old, and you couldn't taste any cream cheese. The sesame chicken was hard and the texture of the meat was very strange. The sauce tasted like raw garlic and burnt plastic, and the rice was bland. The only nice thing was the egg roll. I threw 90% of the food in the garbage, and somehow I still got a stomach ache. read more

All of the people writing horrible reviews of this restaurant are either insane or upset because they own other Chinese restaurants in the area. It also could be that they are fans of California Chinese which is very healthy (and bland). I have ordered delivery from Jumbo China on 20-30 occasions in the last couple of years and I have to say that it is JUST as good as Massachusetts Chinese Food. I've lived in 20+ states in the USA over the years, but MA Chinese is the best. Some parts of the country do things better than others, It was like when I moved to Cali and thought I'd get really good Mexican, but it sucked. Or when I moved to NJ/NY and thought I'd get good pizza, and it sucked. Or when I moved to NC and thought I'd get good BBQ and yes, it sucked. Massachusetts has the best Chinese in the country, BUT Jumbo China is continently AWESOME. Someone there, the cook or the owners have spent time in the Northeast. Everything is good here. We LOVE the Rangoons, Fried Wings, Boneless Ribs, Hunan Chicken, Sweet and Sour anything, Lo Mein anything, Rice anything, Beef w/mushroom or broccoli and Orange Beef. If I had to say anything bad about the menu, I'd say I was not impressed with the Hot & Sour Soup. Regardless, whenever we order anything thru Grubhub it always comes hot and delicious. read more

Heard they were moving locations. I think they have already changed owners. I have ordeed many times over the years and have a picky vegetable taste family. They are/were great at adhering to the substitution request as follows. "Please substitute onions, green peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower for snow peas, green beans, carrots, celery, baby corn. Thanks again" Today they ignored my request entirely. I am throwing out most of he the food, mostly vegetables. As well, I paid the extra for fried rice instead of white rice and that was ignored too. That was the last order I'll get from Josh mob China. Good luck with your move and new customers. read more

Went in the other day to grab some quick dinner after shopping at Teeter. This place is NASTY!!! The floors are gross and the bathroom is even worse. It didn't have hand towels nor a dryer so I don't even want to know how the workers are drying their hands. They have a 90 sanitation grade and o see why. After I noticed all of that (after only 5 minutes), I ran out! read more
