I am not even sure how to feel about our experience today. Normally, when we have been here before the food was good and the service great. Today, the food was horrible and the service wasn't any better. We ordered fried chicken wings, egg rolls, and a beef and broccoli combo. The chicken wings were TINY! And tastes as if they weren't that fresh. The egg rolls were greasy. The beef was gummy and you got like 20 pieces in the whole meal! The rice was soon greasy the bottom of the container was full of it. I don't see us going back. Especially with how rude the person was serving us. Shrimp fried rice, $15 dollars later. It's definitely fried I can taste the oil and u can see it. No need for soy sauce. Appreciative of them deveining the shrimp but that's where it stops. Coming from New York it wasn't easy to find a good Chinese take out. Best I've had so far.

Always made fast and tastes good. However, going inside opened my eyes to how nasty the place is in regards to cleanliness. The floor hasn't been thoroughly mopped in who know how long, the tables are old and dirty, the chairs I don't want to even sit down on. The yellow walls have stuff all over them, and the place where you get your condiments is filthy. Even the windows are foggy from grease and dust. It is DISGUSTING!!!! A little care and cleaning daily would go a long way to spruce up the place. I've been there plenty of times to see they have the time but obviously cleaning the store is NOT a priority. Stopped by to support a family business. The food tasted good but you didn't receive much. I ordered the #16 combo with chicken and a drink. I was thrilled because our came with an egg roll and fried rice. When I received my meal I did not have the egg roll . WhenThe went to ask, the lady sai she rang me up for a lunch special that didn't include the egg roll. She showed me a menu that I didn't even touch when I ordered and said this is what you ordered. This was my first time trying this restaurant out. I ordered a Lg chicken lo mein, a combo platter of beef and broccoli w/ white rice, and a Lg sesame chicken. The lo mein was not bad but not good either. The beef and broccoli was disgusting, the rice tasted old and the egg roll was super greasy. The sesame chicken was greasy and had a lot of bits of fat. Yum! We've ordered from here twice and were happy with our meals both times. The chicken and broccoli is served in a tasty brown sauce, not that nasty white paste that some places use. Boyfriend was happy with his mongolian beef, sans veggies. The crab rangoon and fried potstickers were wonderful apps and a great value. Actually, everything on the menu is a great value. The online ordering system is very convenient, but as another reviewer said, it might be a good idea to call first and make sure they deliver to your area. I'm a straight shot down Glenwood (by Crabtree Mall) and assumed I was close enough the first time I ordered. However, when our food was dropped off over an hour later, the driver politely requested that we order after 8pm (dinner rush) so they could deliver to us much faster. No problem mon! Everyone has their "thing" when judging a Chinese place - my "thing" is the dumplings. They get 4 stars but here's why... The dumplings - they are good but what takes it over is the sauce they provide you with! It's delicious!! Perfect combination of tang, sweet, and salty!! I saw that there were a lot of complaints about customer service and the time it took for delivery - but I can't really complain about either! We ordered the food online so no rudeness there and yes it definitely took about an hour but if you take in to consideration the time that they have to cook the food and bring it out to you, then I can't blame them for taking that long. At least you know your food is freshly prepared! The ONLY complaint that we have is that both times when we ordered Chicken Chow Mein they brought us Chicken Chop Suey - sadness - but everything else has been stellar. Really needed Hot & Sour soup because had really bad cold and it can make you feel better. Ordered for delivery at 12:30 pm. At 1 I received a phone call saying it couldn't be delivered until 2 unless I picked it up. I said 2 would be okay. Came at 2:20 pm. Soup tasted too sweet and kind of vinegary. Also had gigantic pieces of celery in it along with all different sizes of mushrooms. Had to throw away - it was awful. Also ordered House Fried Rice which was okay but had to cook it for a little bit longer because the shrimp was still a little translucent. Like the other reviewers have said, this place is not the best, but definitely not the worst. I like their general tso (sp?), boneless spare ribs and moo shu chicken. They are quick and reasonably priced. There really isn't any customer service there...just take your money and hand you your food. Sometimes, they even have their 9 y/o son (at least he looks 9) taking orders and running debit cards.... All-in-all it's the best Chinese takeout in the area. read more

We just moved to the area and saw Panda Wok in the grocery store shopping mall very close to where we live. We thought we would give it a try. Our experience was disappointing. We ordered three dishes, and all of them were fairly bland. The customer service was not very friendly. The place had a 96 health rating, but still appeared to be dirty. Coats were on nearly every table preventing anyone from sitting down. While waiting we learned that they belong to the people working in the back. I don't think we will be going back here unless we are just extremely desperate. read more

Panda Wok offers inexpensive, tasty food in modest ("small") and three-meals-worth-of-leftovers ("large") amounts. Moo shu, my favorite Chinese takeout standby, is exactly the way I expect -- drippy but not soupy, and the pancakes are perfect. Plus, big orders have been known to arrive with bonus appetizers, and who am I to say no to free crab rangoon? I can't speak to the ambiance as I've never actually set foot in the place, but they deliver reliably in ~30-45 minutes. The new online ordering system (or an employee) never generated the promised email response, but food still arrived in about the same amount of time, and in the pith of the dinner hour, no less. Their fortune cookie fortunes are also frequently worth sticking to your fridge/mirror/desk. Main caveat: their delivery radius isn't very big, so you may want to call in your first order to make sure you're eligible for inclusion. read more

We usually have good experiences with Panda Wok and just like other reviewers have mentioned the food is not excellent but its not the worst either. Recently we have unfortunately not had good experience. We received the wrong order with a very low portion after paying extra money for more chicken. We called to let them know and they apologized and said they would re-do our order for next time on the house. We took them up on the offer and ordered the same meal again- the taste was fine and they did have the extra chicken included in the order (as we usually have). Upon pick-up the owner was very rude about us picking up this "complimentary order". We asked for a side of chili oil and the lady yelled saying the order is free and if you are not going to pay for the order than you dont get the chili oil. The mistake was on their part so it was unfortuante that she got upset with us. We have been long time customers of theirs with no complaints but will probably begin to look for a new place to get our Chinese Take-Out. Anyways the food is usually decent but the service recently has gone down. They also have their children at the cash register or answering the phone to take orders and sometimes their kids mess up the orders. The food is good, service is not up to par. read more

Their food isn't bad and it's reasonably priced, but man they suck at customer service. We have been ordering delivery from them for several years. During that time they have lost our online order twice (even though a confirmation email was sent) and then lied to us on the phone about it. Both times I called to see what was going on and was told by the lady that "it's on its way." Bull. The first time 20 minutes later we received our food. Considering they are about 5 minutes away from our house that tells me they had to make the food. This last time we waited another half hour, and still nothing. I called back and spoke to some other guy and he told me they never received my order. I told them they needed to change their online ordering system then, and stop lying to people who call to ask about their orders. Oh, and when the food FINALLY arrived (at least an hour and a half after I placed the order) they didn't bother to comp anything on the bill. So wait, I paid full price to wait that long for what I can only describe as 'adequate' Chinese food and you still charged me full price!?
