My refreshing iced mocha with oat milk, 2 & 1/2 pumps of coco and whipped cream!

This summer, I've decided to cut back on my coffee intake. I've been doing pretty good, however, I had a strong taste for a mocha iced coffee so I decided to patronize my local coffee shop, Eon. It was a taste of perfection, not too sweet and not too bland; oat milk & 2 and 1/2 pumps of chocolate! Thank you Eon for getting it right!

Review is based on coffee and not on smoothies/food. I went to Eon cafe late afternoon and it was fairly busy. Ample parking space. We got love latte and vanilla latte. Love latte had a very strong artificial taste from the syrup they use. I would avoid it next time. Vanilla latte was decent. Service was good, however the place seemed run down and not clean. They had good music playing, perfect for working. I would go back and give it another try since there are not many cafes in Hayward.

I came as they were opening. Nice dark roast latte to start my day. The coffee was made quickly and I appreciated that. They also have a food menu. Standalone store with inside and outside seating and a private parking lot. Please come and create your own adventure.

I got the latte love - in English toffee flavor and my husband got a vanilla latte. The latte art was very cute and coffee was hot however I did not like the flavor in the latte love it was butter and artificial tasting. The vanilla latte was good. The place has a lot of seating and soft music so it's great for working. I was sad that they didn't give me a little biscuit with my latte like I see in the pictures. The place was also not very clean when we went. I wonder if they were under staffed since we did go in Veterans Day. Either way, I would come back to try their other drinks.

I have drove by this place and never tried it til today. Nice coffee shop with many tables and chairs for meetings or just having coffee. There's tons of various coffee selection in their menu. They have awesome tentative service and the wait isn't too long for the coffee. They also have some selection of food and snacks to choose from. If you want a coffee shop to hang out in that isn't slammed and busy like other coffee shops EON is definitely the place to go.

it was my first time coming here and honestly, I'm gonna say that it was a 10 out of 10 as soon as I walked in the guy at the front was super Duper nice I didn't get his name, but he was really really nice and the coffee actually turned out to be so good. I got the gingerbread latte and it's literally so delicious. At first, the coffee spot from the outside looks kind of like like maybe it wouldn't be too good but when you go inside, it's so cozy and people are studying and working, and you just feel cozy and at home and the coffee is also cozy and sweet yummy everything. I didn't have a chance to sit inside but next time I will. okay so the guy who helped me at the cash register is tetsu!!! he is super nice gave me the best coffee recommendation and even helped me pick out one of their instant ramens!!!! thank you tetsu!!

I dropped in because I was already in the area picking up a mochi order, so I figured--why not grab a coffee? I love checking out new coffee spots, and this one immediately reminded me of the cozy cafes I used to frequent back in my SJSU days. Makes sense, since it's close to a local college campus. The parking lot was a bit busy (probably because of a flea market happening across the street), but the café itself wasn't too crowded. Service was quick and friendly. My husband got the caramel frappe, and I asked the cashier what he recommended. He mentioned the macadamia iced latte--said it wasn't on the menu board but super popular with regulars--so I gave it a shot. Later he mentioned he's more of a lemonade person than a coffee drinker, which honestly made me smile--recommend what you enjoy when people ask haha. I asked about the mulberry tea (which was actually what I had my eye on to begin with), and he said it was solid. Definitely going for that next time. The macadamia latte was... fine. Not bad at all, just not a standout for me. But I love the vibe of the place, and I'm excited to come back and try something new. Mulberry tea, you're next!

It's been a minute since I've been to Eon. Located across a popular community college in the area, this is a prime spot for students who are preparing for finals or doing homework due to its location and free WiFi. When I went early during the weekend for a quick breakfast, there were plenty of open seats but not too many with a working outlet. I was helped by someone at the front, a friendly cashier. They have the usual coffee and tea options, as well as paninis for a quick bite. I got a chipotle chicken panini, which comes with a side of chips and a pickle. The sandwich was flavorful, and filling enough for a few hours. I did note that the water I got tasted a little funny, definitely had more of a tap water aftertaste but not a big deal. Overall, the location, friendliness of staff, and price point would make this a cafe I would recommend to anyone in the area.

    Chicken salad sandwich

Amazing food and service. Very friendly and extremely fresh. Wouldve received 5 stars if i didnt find a bone in my chicken salad sandwich. Took it out and scarfed the rest because im a whore for eons sandwiches.

I always used to love coming here for my usual Mexican mocha and a bagel with salmon cream cheese. Recently I went and I was charged the same price for the cream cheese as the bagel. I had asked if that was a mistake and the owner said it wasn't and that salmon prices went up.. to me that sounds like a bogus reason since the amount you get isn't even enough to spread on both sides of the bagels.

It's a good place to work on your laptop or have a quick business netting. Deserts selection is reasonable and coffee is quite good.

    Hi, are dogs allowed?

There is outdoors seating and dogs have been there with lease. And also indoor seating and I've seen dogs inside as well with their owners, with a lease.

I tried to email the manager but seems as the email on your website is not valid, is there another form of contact?

    eoncoffeemartin@gmail.com

How can I sign up for the rewards program?

Just ask the Cashier. You need to give your Phone No. That's all.

I heard someone at Eon's ask about they're points and the cashier gave them they're balance, I didn't know this was a thing? I was just curious on how to sign up for that?

Just ask the cashier to sign you up. All you have to provide is your Phone No.

What is in the peanut dressing?

It is a Thai dressing whit Peanut Butter, rice vinegar , soy sauce, Ginger, Sugar, Sesami OIl, Garlic Sciracha..

Do they still do the Ramen Satutdays?

Yes! Miso Ramen served 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, only on Saturdays

My largest complaint is that the meat is all centered in the middle so it looks like you get a ton of meat but about 1/3 of the sandwich is empty. It's a decent option if you're craving a sandwich but the meat discrepancy makes the sandwich feel cheap.

But don't think there are multiple locations...yet. Upon receiving my sandwiches, it was wrapped in a paper with their company logo, and from a quick glance it is super similar to the Jersey Mikes logo in terms of color, so it has a real familiar vibe. No hate just an observation. This used to be another restaurant (maybe even several) on the edge of an industrial zone/business park, but also not too far from several shopping strips. There's spacious seating inside, but in the later afternoon when I went, nobody was eating in. But quite a few take-out and third party pick-ups. I even saw a poster showcasing their catering aspect for common work lunches on the company dime. Good for them. Niles Canyon ($14.50/4*) I opted to up this to their combo meal which includes a bag of chips and a soda for another $5. So this was easily a $20 lunch meal without tipping yet. Pricey yes, but not because they are pricier than most, but that is just the going rate for eating a meal outside these days. $15 - $20 per person are common and anything under $15 is now considered cheap eats and getting harder to run into. This sandwich had slightly warmed up deli turkey that when stacked with the swiss cheese slices, kinda softened the cheese. It wasn't ooey gooey but the cheese wasn't firm and cold either. There was another layer of prosciutto as well which wasn't too noticeable but did add another dimension. I chose to go with the full produce choice, as I love the freshness of veggies to go with meat sandwiches. There was also a layer of fresh avo slices which lent a creamy richness to the bites. I tried one of their sliced breads to go for this sandwich, as I tried a sourdough roll for another sandwich that I got to-go for my work lunch the next day. That way I got to sample their bread offerings. Their sliced marbled rye bread is thick sliced, very soft and moist with a good bread chew. They use a good bread supplier for sure. On top of mayo and mustard which is common, they also put their Bomb Sauce which seems like a garlic-y spread of sorts. I can definitely smell it, but the taste isn't overly strong. I'd say super similar to Mr Pickles. Prosciutto Sandwich ($13/4*) This was an all-cold traditional sandwich. I took a couple of bites there to see how it was fresh from the counter, and I ate the rest the next day at work. I gotta say I liked it better the next day as all the flavors melded more together. Even tho the veggies get a bit mushier, I've always liked a well dressed salad sensation in sandwiches, kinda like a Muffeletta sandwich where it is refrigerated overnight, meant to be eaten the next day. Their prosciutto isn't the old school imported version, or at least I've never had one quite like it. I'm assuming a domestic version, even seemed more like cappicola to me as I sensed a tinge of fennel up in there. So pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'll definitely get sandwiches here again for work or day trip lunches. Pretty much on the same level as Togo's or Mr. Pickles, but just more local. With sandwich names as The Quarry Lakes, The Decoto and The Dumbarton, just pulls on my local lovin' heartstrings. Props.
