This is a cute little coffee shop. They have a ton of coffee and tea choices and limited but yummy food irons. I went in in search of breakfast sandwiches for my dad and I. They have a great deal on a breakfast panini and coffee -- just under $6. I also got a very tasty oatmilk Chai, though next time I would ask them to tone down the sweetener. I was stoked to see that they sell my favorite green noodles (they're like a healthy ramen) and I was curious about a sign up sheet they had to buy plants. Seems like a community focused place. I'd like to check them out again when I'm in the area. Ample parking and great service. read more

This place is a neighborhood staple and great! Good food and drink. Lots of tables and spaces to study However the past 2 times I've come in their Wi-Fi is not working in functional way and I feel the need to let others know so they don't end up having to miss a meeting/assignments due to no Wi-Fi. No complaints though they are super nice ! read more

Eon Coffe is my favorite place to grab a coffee in Hayward! I am honestly tired of Starbucks, and I love the variety at Eon Coffee. My favorite is the white chocolate macadamia nut iced coffee with ( I know this is random) an egg sandwich. The prices are low, and the staff is always friendly! On the weekends they serve ramen which I would like to try! Lots of parks and tables inside and outside. Free wifi if you need a spot to stop and do some work or homework. read more

I got the turkey pesto panini and the pumpkin spice latte with oatmilk, and they were both pretty good! The panini was more so of a brunch sized sandwich and it comes with chips. If you are super hungry, you may need to order more than just a sandwich because they don't serve ramen anymore. I took one star off because before I went, there weren't any announcements on a website or yelp that they took the ramen off the menu until I got inside. Everything else was great! :) read more

Love love love this place. It's a straight shot from Newark to this fantastic cafe. I ordered three shots espressos and picked up a grab and go quinoa salad and a fruit plate totaling 13.95.( excited about reasonably priced food and coffee) The coffee is delicious!! A far cry from the Starbucks around the corner from my place and absolutely worth the 15 minute drive. Two male employees, one older, one younger both had great customer service and a kindness to them. I felt relaxed after I ordered my items. There's a fantastic outdoor seating area, and a nook down two steps with cushy lounge seating and tables. I wish I had found this place sooner, I'm looking forward to coming back tomorrow. Oh! Good coffee, great service, local cafe. I've been here a few times. They know how to make a cup of joe. Which is uncommon at cafes. But that's really baseline for a coffee shop. Eon stands out because the girls slaving away at the coffee mines are sincerely nice. They'll look you in the eye and warmly greet you like you're a human in desperate need of some coffee. Maybe in a previous life we hunted mastodons on the Siberian Frost, maybe we fought the Nazi's together in the French under ground, maybe we served together in Nam? I dunno, but they hand you a cup of coffee like you matter to them. read more

Just not the best quality coffee. I came in for a regular small cup of coffee with cream ended up having to get a americano. The coffee was watered down which was disappointing but I was offered a americano which was a lot better. Just had to pay the difference which was 50 cents. Not a big deal maybe I came in too late, I did go in around 4 pm. People were nice, Americano was decent. read more

Great mom-and-pop coffee shop on Hayward. Their location across from Chabot means it's often packed. I get their cafe au lait, matcha latte or vanilla latte often. They had more options for desserts before but what they offer now isn't too bad either. read more

Arrived here after going to two coffee shops in Berkeley that had no seating . Eon has tons of open spots and outlets despite being right next to Chabot College. So for those of you looking for a place to study or work at, Eon is the place for you. They also have a good selection of drinks at good prices. I tried the cubano cappuccino which is just slightly sweetened with brown sugar. The latte art is so pretty too! I'm not in the area often, but I could see myself coming here a lot if I lived around here! read more

I've passed this place so many times. I arranged a business meeting here because of the WiFi and private parking. This is a great place for meetings not to mention the food selection and great prices. I had the breakfast combo. Sausage burrito and coffee. The burrito is more like a quesadilla breakfast. Lots of cheese sausage and mushrooms. Excellent! And for under $6.00. Lots of seating even a couch and power strips. The service is excellent and friendly. This little establishment sits right across from the community college, and is hugely popular with students and locals alike. The atmosphere is peaceful here, a great place to bring your laptop to study or simply relax outside on the patio. I usually come for the lattés, but their food is outstanding. Their signature sandwiches are always freshly made to order and toasted too, so the cheese has a lovely melt with every bite. I also love that they throw in a pickle wedge. It's one the reasons why I come here often, but also because as a fellow student, I find it great to visit between classes and grab lunch with friends. read more

Cute lil cafe on Hesperian, across from chabot college. Stopped in to grab a quick drink on an early Saturday morning, was not busy at all. Took them a few moments to acknowledge me but I was still deciding on what to drink. Once I ordered my chai latte though, it took les than a minute for it to be ready. It tasted ok at the beginning but after a lil bit of time, it tasted really watered down, it had the right amount of sweetness for me. WilL be back if I'm around to try something else. read more

I'm not sure how I feel about this place. I came here looking for a place to study and the whole environment felt kind of stuffy. I came around 3 PM on a weekday, and it was decently packed. Like I said, it was stuffy but also a bit smelly, especially if you were sitting near the side where they have the restrooms. Tables are really sticky and if you want to connect to their wifi, don't bother. It's a complicated process where you have to go onto their website and I couldn't connect on either my laptop or my phone. I ordered an iced green tea and it was quite watered down. I ended up leaving and going to the Starbucks down the street because their Wi-Fi gives me no fuss, their drinks have more flavor, and I find the ambience to be more spacious and clean. Also, I believe their new policy is you don't have to purchase a drink to sit there so it's perfect if you want to study on a budget. read more

I enjoyed their "healthy and organic" theme and appreciated their homemade items. I tried the coconut matcha latte and the salmon cream cheese bagel. The latte was alright, nothing spectacular. I should've tried their coffee (which everyone else keeps raving about it) but I couldn't resist the coconut. It tasted more like match flavored warm milk than a latte. Also, please be aware that the salmon cream cheese bagel is NOT a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese. I made that assumption and was surprised when I got a toasted bagel with a side of salmon-flavored cream cheese. still, it was good. They make their own salmon cream cheese. The place itself has a good amount of tables to work on, along with outdoor patio seating as well. But the place was hot and there were lots of pesky flies/gnats around. Restroom was not very clean either (only 1 gender neutral restroom). Plenty of parking. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back again, but maybe if I was in the neighborhood. read more

I wound up here because a friend I wanted to meet up with suggested it, and I could have not been more pleased with my visit. I like that the shop is so simple, spotless, and cozy, with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and efficient, serving various tasty options with a healthy theme. Many tasty, healthy snaps were available, and my friend and I split a delicious macadamia nut cookie with our drinks. Tastes are very subjective, but I recommend that anyone stop in and give Eon a try. This appears to be a great place to grab and go as well. They sustained steady traffic of that sort the entire time I was there without building up a queue. read more

i love this place sm, the workers are very kind, helpful and friendly and i wish there was a way to tip on the card machine bc i don't usually carry cash. might have to now LOL. anyways abt the food i'm in love with the turkey mushroom panini, so wonderful and cheesy and i wanted to gatekeep it. the iced matcha is lovely as well and i think i'll start branching out eventually but for now i stick w my trusty order :)))) i wish there was a loyalty program of sorts but im content with being able to load up on eon rewards card option read more

Came by for coffee the other day and it was okay, better than Starbucks! Staff behind the counter was friendly! Ordered a mocha and requested it half sweet as they use Ghirardelli chocolate. Sweetness was perfect and there was a tad of foam on top of my beverage. The interior is cozy and it appears that they also feature ramen as well! ~$3.25 for a mocha! read more

Love this coffee shop! It's close to Chabot College & very convenient for students & professors. They have coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches, salads and so much more. They have their own parking lot for customers. Their food and drinks are very well priced even during the recent increase everywhere else. My personal favorites are the everything bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese, Veggie sandwich & the mulberry tea lemonade. I also like their matcha lattes. I will continue to go to this coffee shop & recommend it to anyone. read more

The Eon's staff are always super friendly and quick with their services and food, the hospitality here is amazing. The wifi is a bit slow sometimes but overall the vibes and ambiance of the place are amazing. Although I haven't had too many things from their food menu, I can vouch for almost all of their drinks being really good, served fast, and at a nice price. 10/10 recommend this place if you want somewhere to study or just want some coffee and are in Hayward! read more

This little cafe is cute, emphasis on little. If you plan on studying, this is a great spot! If you're planning on finding a spot to hang with your friends and be loud, not here. Or you can sit outside. It's so tiny inside that voices bounce and echo, so basically you're preaching to the whole cafe. Food was not bad, but for the price it was meh. If you're looking for aesthetically pleasing food to take pics of for IG, this isn't it. But overall, I give it 3 stars. read more

I came to Eon Coffee Shop to get some work done and confirmed before ordering that they had Wi-Fi. However, after I ordered my drink and set up, I discovered the Wi-Fi wasn't working. I asked for help, but the employee mentioned they've never figured out how to fix it. If you're planning to work or need Wi-Fi, I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have a hotspot or don't plan to connect. read more

Really nice place, a lot of seatings next to outlets so it's very convenient if you're coming with your laptop/tablet. Good variety of drinks and pre made sandwiches. Staff was nice and friendly. I got here at around 10 and found a seat but it got packed later on so if you're planning on staying you better come early. Although previous comments that WiFi isn't working properly, I managed to log in easily and it worked perfectly fine. Couldn't find any vegan food option and that's the reason for 4 and not 5. read more

I've lived down the street from this coffee shop for years and just discovered it a couple months ago. I've tried their vanilla latte, mocha, dirty chai, cappuccino, and Irish cream latte. All of these beverages were full bodied in flavor and absolutely delicious!!! I've also tried their green noodle salad, turkey avocado sandwich and the omega cookie, also very delicious!!!! This has officially become my Sunday great spot :) I forgot to mention how friendly the staff is! read more

But don't think there are multiple locations...yet. Upon receiving my sandwiches, it was wrapped in a paper with their company logo, and from a quick glance it is super similar to the Jersey Mikes logo in terms of color, so it has a real familiar vibe. No hate just an observation. This used to be another restaurant (maybe even several) on the edge of an industrial zone/business park, but also not too far from several shopping strips. There's spacious seating inside, but in the later afternoon when I went, nobody was eating in. But quite a few take-out and third party pick-ups. I even saw a poster showcasing their catering aspect for common work lunches on the company dime. Good for them. Niles Canyon ($14.50/4*) I opted to up this to their combo meal which includes a bag of chips and a soda for another $5. So this was easily a $20 lunch meal without tipping yet. Pricey yes, but not because they are pricier than most, but that is just the going rate for eating a meal outside these days. $15 - $20 per person are common and anything under $15 is now considered cheap eats and getting harder to run into. This sandwich had slightly warmed up deli turkey that when stacked with the swiss cheese slices, kinda softened the cheese. It wasn't ooey gooey but the cheese wasn't firm and cold either. There was another layer of prosciutto as well which wasn't too noticeable but did add another dimension. I chose to go with the full produce choice, as I love the freshness of veggies to go with meat sandwiches. There was also a layer of fresh avo slices which lent a creamy richness to the bites. I tried one of their sliced breads to go for this sandwich, as I tried a sourdough roll for another sandwich that I got to-go for my work lunch the next day. That way I got to sample their bread offerings. Their sliced marbled rye bread is thick sliced, very soft and moist with a good bread chew. They use a good bread supplier for sure. On top of mayo and mustard which is common, they also put their Bomb Sauce which seems like a garlic-y spread of sorts. I can definitely smell it, but the taste isn't overly strong. I'd say super similar to Mr Pickles. Prosciutto Sandwich ($13/4*) This was an all-cold traditional sandwich. I took a couple of bites there to see how it was fresh from the counter, and I ate the rest the next day at work. I gotta say I liked it better the next day as all the flavors melded more together. Even tho the veggies get a bit mushier, I've always liked a well dressed salad sensation in sandwiches, kinda like a Muffeletta sandwich where it is refrigerated overnight, meant to be eaten the next day. Their prosciutto isn't the old school imported version, or at least I've never had one quite like it. I'm assuming a domestic version, even seemed more like cappicola to me as I sensed a tinge of fennel up in there. So pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'll definitely get sandwiches here again for work or day trip lunches. Pretty much on the same level as Togo's or Mr. Pickles, but just more local. With sandwich names as The Quarry Lakes, The Decoto and The Dumbarton, just pulls on my local lovin' heartstrings. Props.

First bite told me everything I needed to know. bread was soft, meat fresh, nothing overdone just straight up good. Place runs smooth too. You walk in, grab a number, and they call you up. Sign tells you exactly where to go so you're not standing there confused like some spots. Staff were cool and quick. They got a solid setup with drinks, chips, even frozen stuff to take home. Didn't try the potato salad this time (kinda regret that lol) but I'll be back for sure.

I got a meatball sandwich, one of their specials this week. It comes with a pickle and pepperoncini on the side. Sandwich was delicious and warm. Really good ratio of ingredients and everything was neatly packed without a mess. I thought it could be a bit small but it's a solid work day lunch without falling asleep. Total with a drink and a bag of chips I paid around $16. Staff was helpful and friendly! I'd definitely come back here if I'm in the area.

It's so light and has just the right amount of sweetness, unlike many places where it's either too rich or overly sweet.
