Iced Vanilla Latte
Rimmi S.

Got the iced Vanilla latte with extra syrup. Shot was pulled great but the syrup was pretty weak considering I got extra. My latte was also lukewarm Very homie inside, lots of tables and fast service. They have lots of food options on display + made in the make and all looked very yummy. $7.25 for a medium.

Review is based on coffee and not on smoothies/food. I went to Eon cafe late afternoon and it was fairly busy. Ample parking space. We got love latte and vanilla latte. Love latte had a very strong artificial taste from the syrup they use. I would avoid it next time. Vanilla latte was decent. Service was good, however the place seemed run down and not clean. They had good music playing, perfect for working. I would go back and give it another try since there are not many cafes in Hayward.

My refreshing iced mocha with oat milk, 2 & 1/2 pumps of coco and whipped cream!

This summer, I've decided to cut back on my coffee intake. I've been doing pretty good, however, I had a strong taste for a mocha iced coffee so I decided to patronize my local coffee shop, Eon. It was a taste of perfection, not too sweet and not too bland; oat milk & 2 and 1/2 pumps of chocolate! Thank you Eon for getting it right!

I came as they were opening. Nice dark roast latte to start my day. The coffee was made quickly and I appreciated that. They also have a food menu. Standalone store with inside and outside seating and a private parking lot. Please come and create your own adventure.

I got the latte love - in English toffee flavor and my husband got a vanilla latte. The latte art was very cute and coffee was hot however I did not like the flavor in the latte love it was butter and artificial tasting. The vanilla latte was good. The place has a lot of seating and soft music so it's great for working. I was sad that they didn't give me a little biscuit with my latte like I see in the pictures. The place was also not very clean when we went. I wonder if they were under staffed since we did go in Veterans Day. Either way, I would come back to try their other drinks.

I have drove by this place and never tried it til today. Nice coffee shop with many tables and chairs for meetings or just having coffee. There's tons of various coffee selection in their menu. They have awesome tentative service and the wait isn't too long for the coffee. They also have some selection of food and snacks to choose from. If you want a coffee shop to hang out in that isn't slammed and busy like other coffee shops EON is definitely the place to go.

it was my first time coming here and honestly, I'm gonna say that it was a 10 out of 10 as soon as I walked in the guy at the front was super Duper nice I didn't get his name, but he was really really nice and the coffee actually turned out to be so good. I got the gingerbread latte and it's literally so delicious. At first, the coffee spot from the outside looks kind of like like maybe it wouldn't be too good but when you go inside, it's so cozy and people are studying and working, and you just feel cozy and at home and the coffee is also cozy and sweet yummy everything. I didn't have a chance to sit inside but next time I will. okay so the guy who helped me at the cash register is tetsu!!! he is super nice gave me the best coffee recommendation and even helped me pick out one of their instant ramens!!!! thank you tetsu!!

I dropped in because I was already in the area picking up a mochi order, so I figured--why not grab a coffee? I love checking out new coffee spots, and this one immediately reminded me of the cozy cafes I used to frequent back in my SJSU days. Makes sense, since it's close to a local college campus. The parking lot was a bit busy (probably because of a flea market happening across the street), but the café itself wasn't too crowded. Service was quick and friendly. My husband got the caramel frappe, and I asked the cashier what he recommended. He mentioned the macadamia iced latte--said it wasn't on the menu board but super popular with regulars--so I gave it a shot. Later he mentioned he's more of a lemonade person than a coffee drinker, which honestly made me smile--recommend what you enjoy when people ask haha. I asked about the mulberry tea (which was actually what I had my eye on to begin with), and he said it was solid. Definitely going for that next time. The macadamia latte was... fine. Not bad at all, just not a standout for me. But I love the vibe of the place, and I'm excited to come back and try something new. Mulberry tea, you're next!

It's been a minute since I've been to Eon. Located across a popular community college in the area, this is a prime spot for students who are preparing for finals or doing homework due to its location and free WiFi. When I went early during the weekend for a quick breakfast, there were plenty of open seats but not too many with a working outlet. I was helped by someone at the front, a friendly cashier. They have the usual coffee and tea options, as well as paninis for a quick bite. I got a chipotle chicken panini, which comes with a side of chips and a pickle. The sandwich was flavorful, and filling enough for a few hours. I did note that the water I got tasted a little funny, definitely had more of a tap water aftertaste but not a big deal. Overall, the location, friendliness of staff, and price point would make this a cafe I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Iced Matcha Latte (Soy Milk)
Kyra K.

My coworker recommended we meet at Eon Coffee since it was in the same area that my dinner plans were in. It worked out perfectly since it was a laid-back, quiet, and spacious atmosphere. The cafe is quite modest and bigger than we expected. My companion and I came on a weekday afternoon since we were both working from home. There are plenty of tables inside and outside along with outlets and WiFi. Music plays a little loud so keep that in mind. The menu is posted with typical coffee and teas, specialty drinks, and food. Ordering is simple--done at the register and your name is called out when your item is ready. We found the service to be efficient. My companion and I had an Iced Matcha Latte with Soy Milk while my coworker got a specialty drink. The matcha was surprisingly good! It was sweet and creamy with the matcha being more of an aftertaste. It was good for the size and price point. My coworker said his frappe was solid. I'd try the other drinks here. For those in Hayward, I recommend Eon Coffee to study or work at. This is a one-stop shop for it all. I'm rarely in Hayward so don't see myself coming here often but I'd recommend it to others. Plus parking is free in their spacious lot being it's located off Hesperia Blvd.

Italian Cappuccino

Really smooth cappuccino with a nice, balanced taste. The milk was creamy without being too heavy, and the espresso came through just right. Plus, the latte art looked great. Overall, just a really enjoyable cup.

Ask the Community - Eon Coffee

Hi, are dogs allowed?

There is outdoors seating and dogs have been there with lease. And also indoor seating and I've seen dogs inside as well with their owners, with a lease.

I tried to email the manager but seems as the email on your website is not valid, is there another form of contact?

eoncoffeemartin@gmail.com

How can I sign up for the rewards program?

Just ask the Cashier. You need to give your Phone No. That's all.

I heard someone at Eon's ask about they're points and the cashier gave them they're balance, I didn't know this was a thing? I was just curious on how to sign up for that?

Just ask the cashier to sign you up. All you have to provide is your Phone No.

It is a Thai dressing whit Peanut Butter, rice vinegar , soy sauce, Ginger, Sugar, Sesami OIl, Garlic Sciracha..

Do they still do the Ramen Satutdays?

By the way, there's a ceiling fan but it's turned off though. Anyways, I really love the food here and decided to get one of their platters. I already had chicken shawarma from another place and so I wanted to try the beef one. It's really juicy and tender. The really is really flavorful. The way they designed the platter reminds me another restaurant from Livermore. They have other items here such as burgers, wraps, and paninis. I rarely can find any restaurants that serve paninis but am planning to return here to try one of them. I know that other food types on here will taste as good as the platter I had today.

It was the first time i had chicken modilee--very strong and deep smokey flavored. I also ordered handi subzi; while it was the most bland among the three dishes, it was a great compliment since others were very spicy but all enjoyable! I also like the fact that they have the weight of each item so you'd know exactly the amount of food you're getting. Please excuse the pic of me out of the hospital 2 years ago in the photos uploaded to this…read morerestaurant page!, I was skinny and still recovering health wise! They had lots of delicious food jnside, something for everyone although I've never seen breakfast inside a Thai place before I always go straight for the lunch :) All the staff were very welcoming and let us take our time to order as we do get picky on what we order. Our time that we went, it was busy and they did have plenty of people who were waiting. It does tend to get busy on weekends. I do like chicken a lot after all these years and thats what I had. While the food arrived fairly quickly, nothing really stood out, especially considering the prices, which I felt were a bit high for the overall quality. On a positive note, the restaurant has a beautiful, spacious interior with two separate dining sections, which creates a nice atmosphere. However, the service was disappointing. Despite the automatic 20% gratuity, our server never checked back to see how we were doing, refilled our water, or offered any condiments such as hot sauce. What made the experience more confusing was that additional guests arrived after us, so we weren't sure why we were rushed to order in the first place. Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the food and service didn't quite justify the price. Unfortunately, I would rather explore other dining options than to return.

This place deserves an award for consistency!…read more I frequent Nick the Greek, and my top two locations are Union City and Foster City, but Union City has NEVER failed me. The food is always fresh, always delicious, and consistently made right. I've never received brown, wilted lettuce or undercooked meat...just perfection every single time. What really stands out is that they obviously have great management that cares about both the food they serve and their customers. You can tell there are high standards here, and it shows in every visit. Honestly, the other locations should take notes because this one really is that good. The Castro Valley location's rice often tastes like Rice-A-Roni, which is pretty off-putting. The San Leandro location actually got me sick, and I never received a phone call back after reporting it. I'll gladly drive out of my way to come to the Union City location because I know exactly what I'm getting: fresh food, quality ingredients, excellent service, and a team that clearly cares about their customers.

Mediterranean franchise that serves up delicious gyros and fries that can get loaded with extras…read morebut beware that the extra toppings may not be proportional to their price. Nick The Greek has all the classic schwarma and kabobs you're craving for from Mediterranean cuisine with a more modern, convenient twist through their pita and plate combos consisting of standard fries as well as those loaded with generous portions of meat and sauces. As with most gyro places, the schwarma slices are the highlights and Nick The Greek has a good beef/lamb schwarma that came with crispy ends in my most recent order. The combo of fresh veggies, fries, and schwarma made each bite a hearty one. The crunch from the lettuce paired well with the soft pita bread holding the whole thing together. With each order, you're able to request add ons for additional costs but for the amount you pay, you'd expect a generous portion of the add on but it doesn't seem to be the case. A request for "extra fries" amounted to about 6 strings and tomatoes and olives were almost non-existent. Fortunately, I was able to cover most of the costs with a coupon code so it wasn't too big of a deal that there were less toppings or things completely missing. To go with my gyro, I also ordered a side of their Nick's Fries which are just fries topped with meat, sauces, and some green onions. I opted for the beef/lamb schwarma and it was certainly a meal in itself at this point. The fries still had some rigidity but because of the sauces, they were pretty soaked. The flavors were still enjoyable and the giant slices of meat made for a very filling side. I also got a cup of their strawberry dragonfruit juice and it was refreshing. A bit sweet but the tartness was good balance and quenched my thirst as I was consuming the savory meal. The staff were welcoming and quick to fulfill the order. I had ordered take out and everything was ready by the estimated time and packaged nicely - no messes by the time I got home to enjoy the meal. It definitely helped to have such a large parking lot which made the quick pick up that much quicker. For those looking to dine in, they have plenty of tables inside the shop and a few outdoors if you're keen on soaking in some sun. Overall, Nick The Greek satisfies that Mediterranean craving with their menu of pitas, plates, bowls, salads, and fries. The staples you'd expect like schwarma and falafel are made well here and the prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. With their mobile app, you may earn rewards that can be redeemed for more food so if you're a frequent visitor, you'll benefit greatly! If you're looking for a quick lunch or early dinner, Nick The Greek rarely has a line and can get your food ready to go and packing in your belly in no time.
