Nice little shop inside! Tried the iced chai latte and iced matcha and both were great! Great ambiance inside with a little back sitting area

I visited this coffee shop today, and while most of the staff was friendly and welcoming, the cashier made the experience really unpleasant. She seemed annoyed from the moment I approached the counter--no greeting, no smile, and very short, dismissive responses to simple questions. It felt like I was bothering her just by placing an order. The rest of the crew was great and handled their jobs well, but the attitude at the register really set a negative tone. A cashier is the first point of contact for customers, and professionalism matters. I hope management addresses this, because this shop has potential--but the customer service at the register needs serious improvement.

Another first time visit and I noticed they got few selections of non meat breakfast sandwiches. We ventured and nice staff our order was given on a timely manner. Our sandwiches were pre made and they either heated them up on a toaster oven so it came in hot. Ambiance is very eclectic vibe came in with some firefighters waiting for their drinks, few people sitting on a very causal atmosphere.

Was greeted immediately as soon as we walked in . I knew I was there to try the Vietnamese coffee and it did not disappoint!!! It was so flavorful and I asked for less sweet . The place was so cozy . I can't wait to come back to the their sandwiches !

This was my first time here and I spent all of my time outside with The Princess (our Shiba Inu). My wife went in and got us each a drink and a pastry. We had walked The Princess for about 45 minutes and we were hungry! I asked for an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Different places make the same drinks in different ways. On this occasion, I could feel the heat coming from the plastic cup. It told me that the coffee was made the traditional way and then poured over the ice. That of course will eventually down the coffee but then it's very diluted from the melted ice. I also found my drink to be extremely sweet. Condensed milk is the cause of this and next time, I'll know to ask for 1/2 the regular amount. I don't remember what my pastry was called. There's a picture of it below. I believe that it had some kind of berry filling, probably raspberry? It was okay but I wouldn't order it again. Usually I get either a Butter or Almond Croissant. My wife did get a Butter Croissant and was not impressed by it, though I can't remember why. Nor can I remember what she got to drink. All I do know is that it came in a white paper cup with a black plastic lid. Service was friendly and efficient. Dogs are welcome. There's a patio area past the entrance. We stayed in front of the business.

I been trying a lot of coffee shops lately and this is probably in the top 5 and because it's never a bad day coffee is constantly good every time and I love that and most importantly nice friendly staff

Ham Quiche. $5.50 for this itty bitty piece!
    Alex M.

The people were nice but the quiche I got was cold and when I asked if they could rewarm they did but it was still too cold to eat and I gave up. It was also a very high price for the amount of quiche. It was $5.50 because I added ham which was just shredded on top. Very weird. The vanilla latte I got was adequate but far too sweet. The owner/manager seemed on top of it but the other employees seemed lost though nice. It is a small interior and the dark colors make it seem even smaller. The outdoor patio looked nicer but i had already set up inside. Prob will not go back.

Loved my matcha tea latte with cold foam! My bf also enjoyed his chai :) staff was friendly, I always enjoy supporting a local business. As soon as you walk in you can smell the coffee bean aroma and its amazing! Good vibes with great quality

    Mexican Mocha and Hot Tea

I support small businesses but there service needs to improve. I love there 90s 2000s vibe but they need to better train there staff especially the baristas. This place has been my go to coffee shop for the last 3 years but recently they've been loosing there touch. When the owners are there making the coffee you will not be disappointed with your drink. However they have really young high school kids making your drinks and prepping your food that could care less. It's always a new young crew that seems as if they just rolled out of bed and hate being there. I ordered an extra hot half sweet Mexican Mocha (which I've been getting for 3yrs) and end up getting extra sweet & warm milk. We once had to tell the young kid what Splenda was and how to put it in our Iced Americano as he had no idea what Splenda was. Hope they get better soon because I hate to stop coming here. It's become a hit or miss solely based on who's making your drinks.

The best thing about this place is the outdoor patio on a sunny day. The pastries and baked goods looked and tasted a few days old.

=== Incredible coffee and food. Great vibes ===…read more First, awesome experience. Second, I hate that I keep finding these experiences an HOUR away from where I live. Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

Unfortunately, our order was incorrect, the peppermint was missing from the matcha, and the drinks weren't properly mixed, so the matcha had separated. The biscuits were also a letdown. They tasted like they had been microwaved and became hard within minutes. We were also given chive butter with jam, which was a confusing pairing and didn't make much sense. On top of that, it was uncomfortably hot inside the coffeehouse. It was overcrowded and felt more like an oven than a place to relax with coffee.

Parking is a little weird and very limited but luckily for us, we found a spot on the side of the building. There were two young ladies working the store and the menu is basically posted everywhere. My daughter and I immediately gravitated to the banana matcha latte. We also saw they had yummy croissant pastries available, so we decided to give that a try. What we got: 1. 2 banana matcha lattes- 4/10 the matcha was okay but we tasted no banana to it besides the slices of banana. The pudding tasted like regular vanilla. Overall just not what we were anticipating. 2. Brown sugar boba milk? - 0/10 This was just milk with a bit of brown sugar syrup. (See pic) I actually dropped this off to my other daughter and she said she just couldn't drink it. 3. Strawberry croissant- 8/10 This was actually good. The strawberries with the jam and whipped cream were very good. Don't get me wrong, service was fine. They also had a few great items but the actual drinks were mid. I think the matcha needs to change or maybe making it more paste like could help boost the flavor. The brown sugar latte was just not it.

It's also a fantastic spot to meet up or chat with a group of friends. It was definitely a nice place for a date! When we walked in, there were hardly any available seats, but the line at the counter wasn't long. We found a quiet corner to sit and enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered a hot latte with maple syrup in the name, though I can't recall the exact name. It paired nicely with my pastry. I adjusted the milk tea to 50% sugar but was informed the fruit tea doesn't have added sugar so can't be adjusted. I'm not sure how it's made here, but it was still quite sweet and flavorful, and the boba was the perfect level of qq. While waiting for the teas to be made, I snapped a photo of some cute cat plushies lounging on the window seat.
