"Coffee Time" is a tiny coffee/sandwich shop at the corner of Doolittle Drive & Barrow Street. It's very close to Doolittle Drive & Marina Blvd in San Leandro. I was in the area getting my cellphone serviced, and decided to drop by and try their sandwiches. This place is very small, with no inside seating or tables. Just enough room for maybe 5-6 people. There's a small patio outside with 2-3 tables. So this place is mainly a takeout shop. As you enter, there's a coffee/drink menu on the left wall, and a sandwich menu on the rightside wall. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich (as-is) for $10.50. Service was okay. It was near closing time, and it seemed like they weren't expecting more customers. The roast beef sandwich was fair. This place saved me. I was planning on getting my staff breakfast burrito for our holiday/staff meeting but the the original place was closed. Yelp guided me here. I had to find something comparable to what people requested. It's a very small, to go place and they are quite busy. You know the place is good when the PD stop by. (I used to work for a PD so I can say that :) The young lady was very patient with me and I left with two vegetarian burritos, 3 Turkey burritos, a bacon and a sausage burrito. While waiting I perused there other items on the menu. The lunch item look good so I'll be coming back. It took maybe all of 10 minutes for my order and my staff enjoyed them that they asked where I got them. Best of all I actually saved some funds here. This place is so cute. We stopped by for breakfast after a long flight & being sick of airport food. Service was quick. We got a vanilla latte with almond milk & mocha Egg croissant, ham breakfast burrito & BLT. First the way they make their bacon is a game changer. It's like thin and crispy and they break it up. ham burrito was interesting, it tasted good but had a pizza sauce quality to it which was not my favorite. Croissant with egg and bacon was delicious. Flakey buttery croissant panini pressed loved it. The BLT was my absolute favorite. The honey mustard is delicious, way better than the typical mayo. Bread was so good, good tomatoes too. Came to coffee time a couple of months ago to grab a breakfast burrito and a coffee real fast and that left a good, lasting impression. My wife said she saw someone on tiktok review this place and said she wanted to try them for herself. It was busy when we arrived but only waited about 10 mins for 2 sandwiches and 2 blended drinks. Not bad for there being 4-5 people ahead of us. Both sandwiches were delicious and filling. I can't believe I work a minute away from this place for years and just now discovered it!! Sandwiches are great, and the prices are reasonable. The inside is sort of small for even 4-5 people to stand and wait so my sister and I called in first for pickup. We ordered the coffee time special and the SL grill, along with some sweets. It's Coffee Time!!! Been driving by, right by, this place for years. Finally stopped by today to have breakfast. Plenty of parking on the sidewalk. Tiny little kiosk with a surprisingly extensive menu of coffee and sandwiches. The iced caramel macchiato was strong and flavourful. One hiccup - I ordered a large but was served a small. I got the turkey and sundried tomato sandwich and the Kona mocha blended drink. Both were SO DELICIOUS. I'm still thinking about it and I had it like 3 days ago My husband got the breakfast burrito and loved it-- it's so good he gets it every time. The staff is always super friendly and the service is always really quick. It's definitely a smaller shop and it's easy to miss when you're driving past if you don't know the area. It's a very quaint mom & pop cafe on the corner of Doolittle & Nome. You order inside and take it to-go, but they do have a small patio outside if you wanted to eat there. Really enjoy coming here in the morning or lunch for a sandwich & coffee. The owners are really sweet & nice. My favorite thing is their BLT sandwich. I was disappointed with this place especially given its great reviews. I came here for breakfast and ordered the croissant with ham, egg and cheese and a breakfast burrito with bacon with no spinach or mushrooms (it's odd that spinach and mushrooms are the default here. The croissant was very dry and did not have enough cheese. It looks like the egg is made with some sort of jalapeño since I saw pieces of them in my croissant. The breakfast burrito was not great - it was small, watery, and didn't seem like there were potatoes in there. Another annoying thing was ordering the coffee. My partner wanted the cafe au Lait, and when I ordered it she asked what kind of coffee I wanted bc I would just pour it myself when I got there and add milk to it. I was confused because cafe au Laits should have espresso in them but she didn't say she could make it even though it was on the menu. So then she asked if I wanted a latte where she could add skim milk. Really annoying that they don't seem to know their own coffee menu. The coffee was just basic. This place is pretty busy in the morning; many construction workers grab breakfast and lunch for later here it seems. Give them at least 20 minutes in the morning. I called in advance this morning and was still waiting a while for them to make my food when I got there. They should just call the order all at the same time. They call out drinks when they're ready but it doesn't make sense to grab them if you're still waiting for food. There is also a $0.50 extra charge for using your card when your order is less than $8. read more

Wow,wow, and wow. Some mornings I go to bootcamp in Oakland and am expected at work near Fremont within 90 minutes. Coffee Time came to my rescue with warm,delicious, fairly priced breakfast for myself and my daughter. Service was friendly. I waited less than 10 minutes for my burritos, my chai latte was ready in less than 3 minutes. The breakfast burritos were great: perfectly portioned servings in a toasted flour tortilla, protein served with egg,potatoes, green onions, and salsa. I had the sausage and mija had ham. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL GEM AND BLESSING FOR THE AREA. I have some friends who live really close to Coffee Time and they have never tried it -- I texted one of them immediately after I tried what this place had to offer! I really love how lowkey this shop is... but at the same time it's so accessible. It's on a busy main street, has a parking lot, and it's ran by the nicest, hardworking Korean women! The prices of the meals and drinks provided here are such a wonderful deal too! I'm so glad it popped up on my Yelp recommendations while searching for some morning drinks in the area. I ordered the blended Kona mocha and a turkey breakfast burrito. The Kona mocha was a wonderful balance of sweet and strong! You can tell it has a more homely texture to it than if I had ordered it at a chain cafe. The breakfast burrito was hot, ready, and packed with flavor! I loved how it was the perfect size (it's not like a regular sized burrito -- it's ideal and not overwhelmingly big). The way it was made reminded me of a shop I used to go to in college (it was shut down after I graduated) for breakfast burritos. The breakfast burrito left a great touch of nostalgia for me.
