    Ham & cheese bagel

Stopped by for a quick sandwich to try in the area. Ordered the SL grill sandwich, iced caramel macchiato, and ham & cheese bagel. The amount of avocado in the sandwiches is very generous. I had asked for sourdough but didn't know it would mean a simple slice of it. I was expecting a sourdough roll? Anyways, lots of flavor to it. The iced coffee was surprisingly really good. Would come back if in the area.

I love this place, but completely failed me today on the salmon caesar salad.. but what can I expect on the salmon cook and portion size from a hole in the wall place All good, just dont order salmon! Was dry, over cooked, smelled very very fishy and tiny little piece.

This place is so cute. We stopped by for breakfast after a long flight & being sick of airport food. Service was quick. We got a vanilla latte with almond milk & mocha Egg croissant, ham breakfast burrito & BLT. First the way they make their bacon is a game changer. It's like thin and crispy and they break it up. ham burrito was interesting, it tasted good but had a pizza sauce quality to it which was not my favorite. Croissant with egg and bacon was delicious. Flakey buttery croissant panini pressed loved it. The BLT was my absolute favorite. The honey mustard is delicious, way better than the typical mayo. Bread was so good, good tomatoes too. Lattes were great, they have an espresso machine and know how to use it.

Came to coffee time a couple of months ago to grab a breakfast burrito and a coffee real fast and that left a good, lasting impression. My wife said she saw someone on tiktok review this place and said she wanted to try them for herself. It was busy when we arrived but only waited about 10 mins for 2 sandwiches and 2 blended drinks. Not bad for there being 4-5 people ahead of us. Both sandwiches were delicious and filling. Its a great spot for a wallet-friendly meal and they even have 2 tables outside if you have a second to eat there.

I can't believe I work a minute away from this place for years and just now discovered it!! Sandwiches are great, and the prices are reasonable. The inside is sort of small for even 4-5 people to stand and wait so my sister and I called in first for pickup. We ordered the coffee time special and the SL grill, along with some sweets. And the ribbon on the sandwiches were such a cute touch. The macchiato was just okay, but Thats because I'm used to drinking Vietnamese coffee. All in all, good place to stop by for some sandwiches especially if you're heading to the marina nearby!

Best place ever it's a gem hidden in a quiet area. They have a lot of sandwiches to choose from and sugar-free iced lattes. I love it. I wish I could go here when I go, but it's in the opposite way way better to support Mom And pop stores than Starbucks, this coffee taste like it was made with love

It's Coffee Time!!! Been driving by, right by, this place for years. Finally stopped by today to have breakfast. Plenty of parking on the sidewalk. Tiny little kiosk with a surprisingly extensive menu of coffee and sandwiches. The iced caramel macchiato was strong and flavourful. One hiccup - I ordered a large but was served a small. Not sure where that went wrong. The breakfast burrito was definitely the star of the show. Full of flavor and just the right size. The breakfast croissant was just meh. Service fast and friendly. Looking forward to trying their luck sandwiches soon.

Great variety of sandwiches with an easy-to-read menu. I only ordered a coffee to go and it was made quickly and exactly to order. It's a small space, perfect for grab and go breakfast or lunch!

It's a very quaint mom & pop cafe on the corner of Doolittle & Nome. You order inside and take it to-go, but they do have a small patio outside if you wanted to eat there. Really enjoy coming here in the morning or lunch for a sandwich & coffee. The owners are really sweet & nice. My favorite thing is their BLT sandwich. The bacon is super crunchy and the mustard they use is so good. Their breakfast burrito is good too but sometimes it's made a lil too salty to me. They're coffee is good but not amazing -- personally would just order their sandwiches.

Parking is always tight in this plaza, but I got lucky on a Saturday afternoon. Bara's was poppin when I walked in. Ordering is quick, the menu is extensive, but the man taking my order was so patient. I went with their Bara's combo special with all the fixin's and had to get their dutch crutch. I love that you can choose the bread, and the Bara's combo is great since you can choose your meat/proteins. Turkey and roast beef were juicy and flavorful. Plus their meats are all halal! Every single ingredient was fresh and high quality. The flavors were unmatched. And the bread was perfectly airy and crunchy, without scraping my entire roof of my mouth. It's embarassing I used to get Ike's when there's sandwich spots like Bara's. They have a whole drinks section, chips, and an open deli display case. There's tons of inside seating, great for coworkers, families, or solo dining. No outdoor seating unfortunately. Most of the waiting time is after you order, so allot a solid 15mins, even if you're just waiting for your one order. Bara's is also Palestinian-owned. So not only are you getting a delicious, HUGE portion'd, but fresh meal, you are also knowingly pouring your hard earned money and labor into supporting a local family-owned business. To that I simply have to give my respects and give them a shout out. Very calm and relaxing space. Many regulars walking in picking up take-out food. There's a very kind and soft paced table service here that just reminds me of cute and quaint bistros/cafes from the days gone by. Actual dialogue between servers and patrons, questions answered, smiles passed along. A huge gap from QR code ordering and avoidance of interaction that is trying to be normalized from here on out. We ordered a couple of bottled beers, nothing craft brewed-like, just ordinary Euro/Mexican selections. I'm not as rigid as I once was, so just a good clean lager with a meal and some water is very welcoming to me. They brought nice beer glassware and asked if we wanted it poured into a glass. Sure ain't gonna turn that down, especially since it was already there. It did fit with the nice silverware, cloth napkin and candlelit table. Yet nothing was stuffy and formal, just casual locals out for a good time. Kofta Wrap ($19/4*) This wasn't mine but I did taste a piece of the kofta kebab. Theirs is a beef/lamb mix and is well mixed, almost like a firm meatloaf texture, versus a grilled burger texture. It was a good basic kofta, spiced moderately so not strong but also not bland. The inside also has a lot of lettuce, onions and cucs with a tangy yogurt sauce. I did taste a big hint of mint in my bite which I'm assuming are big hits of herbs with the salad and not the kofta itself. And it was wrapped nice and tight with even distribution so every bite got every element. I look for that in every wrap whether a burrito, med wrap and even stuffed pitas. Beef Shawarma Plate ($20/4.5*) Pretty heavily spiced, where you can feel the texture of the warming spice paste in each bite. A little strong but at least it gave you ride to another culture. Properly shaved pieces where the meat texture was still there and nothing like processed gyro meat. Served with yellow rice and an awesome salad with a tangy dressing. I especially loved the tangy green chutney that was so vibrantly herbaceous, a mint and cilantro punch that brightened the spice ladened shawarma. And I also loved the grilled tomatoes and onion garnish on top of the shawarma, just gave it a nice chef's touch. Mansaf ($25/5*) I have never tried this but as soon as I saw it, I had to try it. I was told it was probably Jordan's most famous dish. Super tender cubes of lamb, with a touch of fat on some pieces which I love. Totally swimming in this glorious creamy sauce made of dried yogurt and tumeric. The sauce was mild (spice wise), quite tangy with a noticeable milky flavor. Served again with rice but this time topped with toasted almond slivers, which added a nice texural contrast. I was also told that this was usually made with bone-in lamb, but think they did it this way to make it more restaurant friendly, maybe even American friendly. But I was just imagining if this would have been a bone-in lamb shank, I would have loved it even more. Great dish! Still have to try their extensive kabob offerings and an assortment of their mezzes whether falafels, hummus and other dips. Lots of work yet still ahead of me, but I just know that this is gonna be a smooth and fun ride. Bet.

My partner said that the sandwich was one of the best he's had in a while and the spicy mayo it came with was pretty delicious. My falafel sandwich on the other hand was good, but I did get tired of eating it because there was not as much variety in the falafel pita as I would have liked. At times I felt like the falafel was dry, and since the sauce was in a cup, I had to spread it and wasn't super satisfied with it. The fries were fresh but the portions were a little small. We also ordered a bowl of lentil soup and a green smoothie. The green smoothie tasted as if there was no sugar added and had a lot of ginger in it, so it had heat to it. The lentil soup was tasty and came with bread, albeit a little lukewarm when we got it. Overall, we were happy with our dishes and want to come back to try the other dishes. There is only outdoor seating, but there are about 8 tables to sit at outdoors. The owner seems very gracious and proud of his establishment. He says that everything is made freshly there from scratch, including the sauces. They do get their bread from a local bakery. There is clearly a lot of care put in the food, and it is a great establishing. We will be adding it to our list of lunch spots.
