I remember coming here either late last year or early this year during its posted opening times and no one was here, with no sign indicating they were closed for the day--which was annoying. I gave it another try last week after a doctor's appointment. There is a small attached parking lot, which is convenient. The store is super small inside, and it really is a grab and go type of place. I had the bagel & egg sandwich with bacon on an everything bagel. I liked it, and the food came out piping hot (and pretty fast). There's one woman taking orders in the front, then a cook and some various other workers in the back. The cook also will take verbal orders and write them down if the cashier is occupied. There's some businesses nearby that must frequent this place, as they seemed like regulars. There's some type of surcharge on using credit cards (maybe $8), so bring cash if you're not planning to spend over the minimum. But either way, when the place is open--this place is good. read more

Very cute and affordable breakfast/lunch spot! I ordered the breakfast bagel and croissant - both with sausage and egg. The egg was a bit overcooked but overall good sandwiches. A bit on the smaller side and I was still hungry after eating one but can't complain because of the prices. I'll be back to try the lunch sandwiches. read more

First time here and the food is delicious! Breakfast burrito with bacon & sausage! I've been passing by this small mom/pop shop for awhile now and today decided to stop by. I ordered a veggie sandwich, breakfast burrito and a bagel with peanut butter and jelly. The total came out to be 14.44$. Wow super great deal for the amount of food that I received. There's plenty of parking in the back and a few in the front. They seem to be busy during the morning time so make sure to call. Lady at the register is friendly. I almost overlooked this place, then finally, my curiosity got the better of me and I'm so glad it did. It's a small space. Easy parking outside or in the parking lot but not really a place to dine in, more for grab-n-go. Real convenient for commuters, especially if you call ahead. This place serves up yummy, quick breakfast eats. The staff are welcoming and the menu is well priced. The portions are spot on (not too much, not too little) and they really do pack a decent amount of protien. I enjoyed some really tasty flavorful, savory bites that I'm still dreaming about and I don't know why! Let me explain: I ordered a breakfast sandwich (croissant, sausage patty, egg and cheese) and it just taste so good! You could taste the black pepper, the butteriness of the croissant and the cheese was melted on just right. It sounds simple, but definitely leaves an impression. This was so good, I had to come back the same day to try more: the S L Grill. A nice hot sandwich on sourdough. I don't even like honey mustard but I love how the used it in the sandwich to compliment the savory and slightly salty notes by bringing in some slight sweetness. And the bread was slighty toasted on the outside but not so much that it hurts your mouth as you bite into it. It's a real good place for a quick breakfast or lunch and they serve coffee! read more

I love this place!! It's my go to spot for local, quick, tasty sandwiches and coffee drinks. My favorite is the turkey avocado sandwich (with everything!), and I always order an iced white mocha to go with it. It's sooo freakin good, especially since they use a nice buttery, flaky croissant for that particular sandwich. I love to support small businesses whenever possible so i come here probably once or twice a week. The building itself is pretty small but cozy and very welcoming as you are greeted when you walk in. Theres nowhere to sit inside but there are a few tables outside; this place is a more "on the go" vibe. The bagels and sandwiches are pretty award winning and made with tender love and care with a ribbon on top (photo) These ladies work hard here and dont even take tips! Okay, I barely moved to San Leandro and I am trying my best to figure this city out. From finding a running spot to finding a breakfast spot to go to after my morning run. After my morning run today I wanted to get a bagel, before I moved here I would work out and then went to get a bagel at my usual bagel spot. Well I yelped bagel and this place came up. Nope, this is not a bagel shop, but they do have bagels and good looking sandwiches! The first picture I saw was a picture of their grilled chicken sandwich, if I wasn't already sold.. I kept looking at the pictures and knew I had to go here after my run. I came in, and it was a cute little shop. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted and what she said was "Oh, that's his special he always gets that." I was like oh I don't know who he is but..well I want that! And went onto telling her how I found this place on yelp and came because I wanted the sandwich that was in the picture. The sandwich I got was a grilled chicken sandwich on wheat, with no onions, add avocado and egg whites! Thank guy who posted the picture, if it wasn't for that picture I would have probably not went here in a quickness. After getting my sandwich I ate on the patio. It is a cute little patio to eat on. The sandwich was wrapped up like present, the packaging of the sandwich was so cute. Opening it was like a gift of goodness, the sandwich itself tasted so fresh!!! I loved how I got avocado in every bite and also loved the occasional bite of egg whites. I am in love with the freshness and presentation of this sandwich. Sorry, I was hoping for better based on the reviews. The coffee was pretty average with a slightly burnt flavor. If you get your coffee at 7-11 or gas stations, this is comparable. If you like more boutique, like Philz (my all time favorite), Starbucks or Pete's, it doesn't stack up. The breakfast burrito was pretty small, but that was ok - it was not very good. The positive was it was pretty inexpensive, around $6 for a large coffee and breakfast burrito, you aren't paying for the more expensive coffees. read more

I decided to try their CT(Coffee Time) Club sandwich which has Roast Beef, Bacon, Ham, Turkey, Red Onion, Tomatoes, Mixed Greens, Mayo, and Honey Mustard over a multigrain bread. Working in a boring, industrial area of San Leandro, the food options are very limited. Luckily, Coffee Time is seriously a jem just a short drive down the street. I'm all for local business for their hospitality, great service, but most importantly, great food and Coffee Time is all of those things. Coffee Time doesn't serve JUST coffee as the name suggests, but rather a great selections of sandwiches, salads, pastries, and even hot dogs with all sorts of toppings! Price ranges anywhere from $3-$6 and any sandwich can be turned into a wrap for a low-carb option. I usually opt for the wraps, though it's a little shorter than a typical wrap you'd get from a place like Jamba Juice, the wonderful ladies that run this place always pack in so much inside! I easily get full from 1/2 of a wrap and always debate on if I should eat 2nd half. Today I decided to try a Turkey & Avocado sandwich on multi-grain bread- they give you an option of what bread you'd like on your sandwich on, even a croissant! After a short wait I was so pleasantly surprised to see that my sandwich was wrapped in a bow with a napkin, what a nice touch!
