Our number was called fairly soon. The calamari was crispy and seasoned with a little kick of heat. The Boba was perfect. And our friend said we should try his popcorn chicken as it is an authentic Taiwanese street food. It was seasoned with Chinese Five Spice and very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Walking around Pelton Plaza, I saw that they had an i-Tea place here. I am a fan of theirs drinks. They have a fairly "vast drink menu" and snack menu. I went today and it was pretty cute. The staff look hard working and are constantly making drinks. I always feel like it's somewhat busy here and they survived MochiNut so that's definitely a testament to their quality and service they provide. I been getting boba drinks from here since they opened, always good. I finally tried some of their food items, and was impressed. Got the Beef Stew Wonton Noodle Soup and Beef Udon Noodle Soup. It was decently busy here on a Saturday evening but orders came out in about 5 minutes. It's hard to find parking in this plaza sometimes, but it is located within a reasonable walking distance from the San Leandro BART station. They have tables inside the shop that you can sit at since there's not really any outdoor seating nearby. I thought my drink was pretty good, definitely quite fruity and as the order came out as 50% sweetness instead of my desired 30%, it was still pretty sweet.
