$10.50 for the smallest popcorn chicken ever. Would not come. Definitely a rip off.

Daily specials (July 2024)
Jennifer C.

Got a Pink Lady Peach Green Tea SC (75% sugar) and a Signature Fruit Fusion Green Tea. Pink Lady was delicious even though some of the ice wasn't fully blended. Love that it comes with agar boba AND salted cheese for no additional cost. Huge value! Got 75% sweetness which was perfect for me. Signature fruit fusion green tea will be a skip next time. Literally a bunch of cut up fruits in a cup with some green tea poured over. You pay for the fruits more than the drink. Interested in coming back for one of their weekly specials next time! Food and rink for less than $15 :D

Price

Very fresh popcorn chicken but the size is too huge should have chop in smaller pieces... kinda overprice drinks 700 bucks for a milk tea +75 cent for large is even worst ... restroom is out of order even worst my kids can't wash their hands before eating .... Huge Chinese lady working at the counter seem like she in another dimension and she seem lost or something while taking my order ..

Strawberry Yakult with boba
Hope L.

Came here on a Thursday evening and it wasn't busy. I ordered the strawberry Yakult drink with boba and it was about $7.25. It came out in less than 5 minutes and was perfectly sweet. They also included real fruit pieces which I like. The boba wasn't as sweet as I would've wanted as there was no honey coating on it but the texture was perfectly chewy. I would come back again to try some other drinks!

Clean and bright interior with quick service. Was nearby and stopped to get a taro milk tea, which contains some cooked pieces of taro $5.50. Added boba for $0.75. With 30% sweetness. Drink was good and refreshing. The taro pieces were soft enough to be imbibed through the boba straw. There's a membership special of buy 9 drinks and get 1 free, as well as a $10 discount if you download and use their app (there's a poster in the window with the QR code to download their app).

Mango Coconut milk purple rice drink is great
Fanny D.

We usually get the mango pomelo sago drink with boba, which is always nice and refreshing and is one of their most popular drinks. This time we tried the fresh mango coconut milk with purple rice, which also had a star next to it in the menu. It turned out really refreshing! Light coconut milk, chewy purple rice, and hints of mango. Half sweet was good for us. The only downside was we finished the drink faster than we could the rice so there was a lot of that left over. Usually not too busy when we go and lots of seating. Overlooks a busy street so ambiance is not the best but a good option for a local boba place.

Mango sago

Really good mango sago! Not overly sweet but just the perfect amount. The toppings were a variety of things, not just sago, which makes the drink really refreshing!

Dragon milk tea with barley and purple rice pearls
Sarah L.

Unique drinks and toppings. I tried the dragon milk tea with barley and purple rice pearls. The drink has strong tea flavor and the sweetness % matches. The pearls have a nice chewy texture and go well with the milk tea. I like the size of the drink and that there's 2 size options. Stuff was nice and service was fast. Will definitely come back and try their other menu items.

Yumm! Peach green tea
Lucy Y.

Trying out this boba spot for the first time and I enjoyed their peach green tea with salted cheese drink. I ordered it with 50% sweetness and it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. I also got the popcorn chicken which was good (very crunchy and the chicken pieces were nice and tender) but in my opinion it just needed a tad bit more white pepper seasoning on top.

Unfortunately I could not give this place a review on their tea. I got there at 7:48pm and the door was locked. Disappointed

Lazy workers! The place closes at 8 and they'll lock at door at 7:35. Maybe management or ownership should look into that.

We ordered at the kiosk (although you can save if you prefer to pay by cash). Our ramen was very filling with plenty of yummy toppings. The texture of the pork was good with a nice char and the eggs were perfectly jammy. No shortage on corn-I love corn in my ramen! We also got some fried goodies on the side, the corn fritters were perfect.

But It was the food that was disappointed. Soft shell crab - Came out with no sauce and mushy, not crunchy. Agedashi Tofu - almost like getting a bowl of tofu soup. Diluted dashi broth on top of the lightly fried tofu. Chicken Karaage: was alright. Blue Fin Tuna Don - I order this dish every time I visited Kaisen Don so I am pretty sure they gave me regular tuna. Although they charged me for Blue fin tuna. Disappointed. Sushi rice was yummy tho. Hamachi Kama - rotten fish. This is a big NO, imo. We never, seriously never, had spoiled Hamachi Kama at any of the Japanese restaurants, in and outside of the US, never, ever. We told our server to let the kitchen staff know. Our server came back and said he will remove the item from our bill. We also told him to make sure they don't sell this dish to anyone. We repeated three times to make sure he heard us too. Definitely not a $$$ quality type of food.

We got there around 7pm on a Friday. It was busy but we got sat pretty quickly. We ordered 2 miso soups, tofu, fatty combo sashimi, and 2 rolls. After about 30-45 min, we received our tea, miso soups, and the tofu appetizer. After about an hour, we got our sashimi. And after sitting for another 30 min, we decided it was time to cancel the rest and get our check. All the other tables were getting their food and we were just sitting there waiting. Waiting that long for food is unacceptable. And after all that, all we got was a sorry and "here's a 10% discount card for next time." I don't think there will be a next time.

Usually there's a dollop in the box. * my chicken katsu breading - was it panko? * my tonkatsu sauce - watery & lacked umami Service was friendly and we got two separate checks as requested. The good: fresh, quality ingredients The bad: started with the host/wait list. I accidentally added my name twice for a solo diner. Host thought it was a mistake and completely removed me from the wait list and seated other parties that came in after me. Thoroughly confused - she didn't even call my name to confirm so I had to go up to her and ask. No apology either. Was seated at the counter where solo diners usually sit. Service was non existent. Server came up to me and ask "what would you like to order?" I've never been there before. No "hi my name is ... I'll be your server" nada. They're just a machine - people in people out. The ramen - broth was fine. The squiggly noodles aren't my favorite. Expected to have kernel corn but had corn ribs instead (good thing I'm good with chopsticks!) The charshu was just okay. Enoki topping was just ... aight. The nice touch was that they didn't put it in the ramen and served it on the side to preserve its crunchiness because it definitely needed the texture! It was loud, busy, and nothing spectacular about the dining scene here. $55 dollars later (ramen, 2 additional toppings, one box of sake) ... I sadly don't think it was worth it.
