Drink so good it will make you drink and drive and take a picture before you finish it. Strawberry Crunch was delightful.

I WILL be coming back for that Strawberry Crunch drink, best I've ever had and i've tried all the strawberry drinks. Recommend light ice cause I was done with that thing before I even got on the freeway. Still the best though.

Authentic Vietnamese hidden gem in san leandro. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

My friend picked up some drinks and foods from 2Ơi before our rainy day hang in the East Bay, and they were so freaking good!! I got the Vietnamese rice paper salad in a bag and the mango passionfruit tea. The tea came with chunks of fresh mango, and the rice paper salad contained so many dry sakura shrimps. Both were huge portions, and the taste was authentic, so I was really impressed. I really hope this business gains momentum and is able to eventually expand their business if so desired.

What a great hidden gem for strong and delicious Vietnamese coffee! Found 2Oi on a Yelp search and elected to try it, so glad we did! We ordered via text for C2 and C4 and both were ready in about 5 minutes and luckily we were around the area so pick up was a breeze. The owner is so friendly and love that we are supporting a local business. Please try them out, you won't be disappointed!

===TL;DR=== - C1. Vietnamese black coffee - C4. Buon Ma Thuot coffee - Order must be placed an hour before picking up ===TMI=== OHMMGEE, their viet coffees are soooooooo good! They're located in a residential area so it's super easy to miss. Don't make the same mistake I did the first time cause I literally just pulled up thinking they were a store but I was wrong and had to come back another day. They're a home kitchen so make sure to check out their website online and order ahead of time! Alright alright alright, strap in cause here's how you order. 1) text or call their phone number on what you want to order, 2) they accept cash or Zelle, and 3) pick up your food in person. Once you arrive, they're located on the 1st floor so just find the door number (might be a little hard to find so feel free to also text/call them upon arrival and they'll come out). Although everyone raves about the C4, i think C1 is still the best. Nothing beats original! Can't wait to try their snacks next time.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5 We ordered C2. Saigon Coffee - she takes orders via text or phone call. The drink was delicious! My partner and I really appreciated that they weren't overly sweet like you often find at other places -- just the right balance of flavor. We'll definitely be back to try more options! A quick tip for first-timers: if you're using Google Maps, don't rely solely on the GPS when you're close. Instead, watch for the street address numbers--the location can be easy to miss otherwise. Once you spot it, drive in and you'll find plenty of parking available. The place is run from an apartment on the ground level. After I parked, I just texted the owner and waited by my car. She came out within a minute -- super friendly and welcoming! Payment was easy too; she accepts cash or Zelle.

I should've read the review before I came because I was just as confused as many first-time visit reviewers without realizing the "restaurant" is in an apartment until a resident pointed out to me. The auntie who greeted me was super nice!!! And I was only here for the coffee (I ordered the Saigon coffee) and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It is very STRONG too haha (I can literally feel it from my bone while I am writing this review). I saw great review on the food so I'll definitely come back for the food next time. And I'll make sure to text and order ahead. They take only cash or Zelle. The signal's not the best out there, so would definitely bring cash next time! Thanks Auntie for being so nice and made the coffee on the spot for this first time confusing customer!!!

    Banh trang nuong, Vietnamese pizza

It can be difficult to find Vietnamese places that don't just serve pho or com tam in the area, so I'm so happy I've found a place that sells authentic Vietnamese street food! This is a to-go only spot - you call/text your order ahead of time and pick up from a sweet auntie who sells food and drinks from her apartment! Generally, she will bring the food out to your car. I did get a little lost while trying to find the location, but she came out and met me with a big smile on her face! I ordered the stir fried corn (bap xao), Vietnamese pizza (banh trang nuong), and their specialty Vietnamese rice paper salad with no peanuts (banh trang tron). She was very accommodating to my peanut allergy! Bap xao 10/10 - stir fried corn loaded with tons of dried shrimp and topped with a mayo/butter sauce and sriracha. Incredibly savory and satisfying, I'll never want to eat corn another way! The sweetness from the corn mixed with the intense salty, umami flavor from the dried shrimp was to die for. Banh trang nuong 9.5/10 - grilled rice paper topped with cheese, julienned pork, ground beef, green onion, and the same mayo and sriracha sauces as the corn. Despite getting lost and having to drive back to my home ~20 minutes away, the banh trang still held onto its delightful crispy, crunchy texture! Banh trang tron 9.5/10 - their specialty street food! The Vietnamese coriander, mango, and citrusy vinaigrette gave a nice refreshing balance to the salad. The rice paper was also the perfect vehicle for this salad, soaking up all the flavors of the ingredients its next to. By the time I got to eating this, the banh trang was all stuck together, so definitely eat this one first! Overall, the owner of this establishment makes extremely flavorful and balanced dishes. For being a "snack" place, the portions are large and satiating enough to be eaten as a lunch! You can tell the owner puts a lot of love and heart into her food, and she is also so sweet and warm! Will be back to show off to my Vietnamese parents and try their drinks!!

Rolls, Sate bread, and Chia seed coffee.
    Jason L.

This spot is definitely worth checking out. I ordered the Sate bread, Roll and a Chia seed coffee to try and everything was delicious. You text/call the number to order and then she tells you the time to pick up at a parking lot. Support this small business--you can satisfy your Vietnamese food cravings without making the trip to San Jose.

Sea salt foam matcha hot sub oat milk (the foam was still dairy based). So happy they were able to accommodate my oat milk request :-).
    Malena I.

The sea salt foam matcha hot is *chefs kiss* :'-). I was able to sub my milk base for oat milk too and it tasted SO good (the sea salt foam was still dairy based though, totes fine w/ that). I called to place an order & it was ready for pick up within 10 minutes. I was greeted by the most cutest Asian Auntie & from there the rest is history. I'll definitely be back, thank you 2O'i for my yummy drinky drink.

Easy to text & order! Was ready in 5 mins, and super cute! Close to the Marina so I just drove over, parked, and enjoyed my drink. I love the flavor and strength. Needed it today heading to work - delicious! Gotta come back and try the food.

Just recently found this street vendor on my feed. It sounds like he is there in this same spot in…read morean industrial neighborhood from 8am to about 1 pm or until he runs out. I've been by twice and my second visit around 8:30 am, I was surprised to see several people there already in the cold winter's air. All Mexican btw, so this vendor is well known by the locals/workers. That speaks volume. So this dude sets up multiple tables off a sidewalk with a canopy for shade. On those plastic tables are insulated coolers of different shapes. Big rectangular coolers store hot tamales of different fillings and these beverage coolers that have warm sweet mexican porridge things that I haven't tried yet but are very popular during cooler mornings. Champurrado is like a thickish hot chocolate but is thickened with corn masa and may have citrus and/or ground nuts for texture and complexity. He also has something more whitish and thick and he just ladels these steamy drinks into paper cups. Very popular amongst the Mexican customers, maybe the weather dictated what I witnessed. I've only tried their tamales, so that's what I'll be reviewing. They are good sized about a 8-10 biter. They are wrapped in corn husk then a deli paper around that. As he pulls them out of those insulated coolers, these things are steaming hot. I was surprised on how hot they were upon opening my bag, They were so hot that it was hard to handle them right away. He asked if wanted a paper plate but I declined as I usually eat my tamales in my hand. I should have accepted the plate as these were really hot and on the greasy side, especially the pork one. I usually have napkins in my car and had to use 2-3 napkins to eat one tamale. The tamales are $3.50 each and so far I've been getting 6 of them for $20, so a slight price break. He puts them in a plastic bag where they will stay warm for easily 30 minutes. I usually will eat 1-2 right away and whatever makes it home, I will wrap each one in plastic wrap before chilling in the fridge. That way when I go to heat one up, about a minute in the microwave, the plastic keeps things steamed. A super fast meal for me, that I love when on the go, or a quick work meal. Chicken Tamale (3.5*) Lots of chicken in the filling, cooked in a light green sauce. I usually like my fillings quite saucy as it adds flavor to the tamale. These seemed quite dry, and the chicken itself was all white meat, so seemed drier than I prefer. It is filling tho and their masa is very flavorful, it is seasoned and moist, which should be commended. This tamale does benefit from one of their salsas however. Chile and Cheese Tamale (4*) This one is solid but not as filling as the ones with meat. A nice strip of a green pepper, I'm thinking they use jalapeno as it has some heat. Usually I see a roasted strip of poblano pepper, so it has a deep pepper flavor but less heat. Here the pepper flavor is milder but there is more heat. There is a white cheese inside also but not really noticeable, there's no significant cheese pull, maybe the masa absorbs it. I do enjoy this tamale in the morning with a cup of coffee, a simple breakfast that I learned to love. Pork Tamale (4.5*) This hits for me. Big shreds of pork cooked in a deep red chile sauce that soaks the meat. Great flavor bomb between the earthy and spicy pork filling to the seasoned corn flavor of the moist masa exterior. The filling is very lean tho and just wished it would be juicier/more fatty bits. But for being as lean as it seemed, the outside of this tamale is surprisingly greasy. Like be careful eating and unwrapping this as grease will trail everywhere, on your fingers and hopefully your napkins. I had to be very careful eating one in my car for my initial taste. I had to eat it parked as I couldn't risk driving and eating something so messy. Lol Tamale dude also offers 2 types of salsas, a green and a red. The green is medium spicy and is deliciously tangy. The red salsa is very oily but somewhat emulsified. That one is very spicy and I can only take little dots of it. I've never had a salsa quite like that, definitely dried red/black chiles are used and is blended til smooth so no chunks. I'm curious as to what chiles are in there as it is stingingly piquant but with good complexity. At home I actually like to mix the 2 salsas, basically making the delicious green one slightly more spicy. Great score for me and so glad I found this. It is better than most tamales in my area and I love how warm they are upon receiving. I always eat one right away then I have several for future quick meals/snacks.

I will say this is the best Tamales ever. Has a good amount of meat and is not dry like others! The…read moresalsa was so good also!

I will not expect most/all of you to ever run into this food truck. It is not a 'hobby' food truck…read morethat'll only show up at events/food truck gatherings, with a fancy schmancy paint job with cool graphics. This is an OG food truck, owned by one hard working lady, who got permits to park 6 days a week near the Oakland Airport. Unless you're an airport worker, or if you park at the Economy lot and walk it, you'd be hard press in running into this truck. So, since this is a real working food truck, servicing a wide range of people/taste, the truck has a super big menu. I usually frown on that, but given her demographics, I gotta let this one slide. You can get breakfast sandwiches here, burgers, tacos and rice bowls and then some. Some finds for me: Hot Link Breakfast Sausage ($8ish/5*) Nothing fancy here, no brioche, bagel or English Muffin. Straight up sliced toast, possibly Texas toast. Super freshly cooked eggs, nicely grilled split spicy sausage and some cheese, I think. Every bite you get everything, the ends are as good as the center. And that cheapish bread, guess what...it doesn't fall apart nor get soggy. I can eat this morning, afternoon or evening. Wings/Fries Box ($13ish/4*) Sure this is probably a frozen fried chicken product cuz I'm sure I've had similar at many a sports bar. Ain't gonna hate, cuz it basically taste good. Crunchy with a little zing on the outside, and no wet sauce to make it soggy. I like the fries here cuz they sprinkle a seasoned salt over them, finger licking good. Trust. Chicken Strips/Fries Box ($13ish/3*) I didn't like this as much as the wings. The strips were from one large chicken breast, so it was much firmer than chicken tenders should be. And I didn't love the breading. Bacon Cheese Burger, I added a Fried Egg ($14ish/3.5*) Pretty hefty burger, not a 4-5 biter. Not sure what it was, but it had a garlic-y flavor, which kind of threw me for a basic burger out. It wasn't bad just unexpected. Not sure if it was 'inside' the meat, or if the meat was griddled with a touch of garlic, but it kinda gave it a meatloaf characteristic. Also for the price, I kinda wished it came with fries, so next time, I may have to pony up some extra coin. Just gotta throw in that extra star for servicing a specific spot. To consistently be there 6 days a week, 10 hours per day, just gotta throw some respect out there.

Worst food ever! Seriously no flavor and terrible seasoning. Stay away and don't waste your money.read more
