An unexpected find! Thought there would be the usual boba shop snacks, but this gem has updated the menu and is putting out quite the array of restaurant quality dishes. We ordered the Parmesan tater tots, pho, popcorn chicken, and garlic noodles with shrimp. All were tasty and worth returning for. Lots of games and plenty of space in the clean, fun interior to hang out after enjoying your food.

After eating dinner, I decided to drive my way to Hayward to go to Sip & Savor since it's close to where I ate at. This is quite unusual because this boba shop serves pastas since other boba places serve rice meals. Don't know but I guess that this is supposed to be a fusion restaurant? Inside is very quiet though, but I saw some people come in here. I also really like how they decorated part of the wall with "Sip & Savor" sign. If they covered the whole wall and even the ceiling, it would have looked like we're in a jungle. I didn't get pasta, but my mom and I wanted to try their boba. It's really good though. The Sip & Savor is slightly more expensive and it's quite flavorful even without adding boba. Not too sweet and it's just right. Definitely looking forward to trying one of their pastas if I were to come back!

Sip and savor has updated their menu for their food. And their banh mi was really good. Not officially on the menu yet but was told it will be added. Got a matcha red bean drink as well as popcorn chicken. So far the food and drinks that I have tried have always hit the spot. Hoping to try more soon.

Spaghetti Carbonara and tater tots

Boba and pasta, my new favorite combo! Plenty of parking and the store is nicely lit with plenty of tables to sit and eat. I was surprised with the range of the menu and also a bit hesitant. But I was pleasantly surprised by how everything tasted. The pastas are made to order and stole the show! The carbonara was so creamy and delicious. You also get a hefty portion and can take home leftovers. They also serve the pasta to you if you decide to dine in. They'll also cleanup after you. I still dream about the carbonara to this day

Minus an entire star for the purpose of this being a boba shop and i dont recommend their honey boba!! It was not a bit sweet of honey- it was very tasteless and the was hard- i am so disappointed. They also charge a 3% credit card surcharge. Also $8 for a milk tea is criminal. Ordered jasmine milk tea $6.5 w lychee jelly $0.59 Milk tea $8 Honey boba $0.59 Jasmine green tea salt cheese $6 W lychee jelly $0.59 Strawberry matcha $7.5 Strawberry slush $7.75 Jelly $0.59 Total $44 They have a loyalty rewards. Every 100 points you get $10 off. Each dollar is 1 point so you have to spend $100 to get $10. Insane Drinks are decent. Id come back to try other drinks without boba and the food

Jasmine sea salt tea was refreshing. In addition to boba shop offerings, they also have a rather sophisticated Italian food menu, which was very interesting. I am totally coming back and trying more in the future. Mom and pop vibes. Shopping center parking. Good service. Casual. Please come and create your own adventure.

My first impression walking in was how polite and welcoming the staff was. You can really tell they care about their customers. The place was super clean, the music was good and they even have free wifi for customers! I ordered the parmesan gnocchi pasta, mild popcorn chicken and the strawberry lemonade oolong tea. The pasta had a lot of sauce and was perfectly creamy. Since the portion was big, I got to take home my leftovers and have it lunch the next day! It paired really well with the popcorn chicken. And the strawberry lemonade oolong was the perfect drink to balance everything out I definitely recommend coming here to study or to hang out with friends!

As my husband was heading home after buying lunch, he dropped by this place to buy an oolong milk tea with boba for our daughter. The price was kind of steep for the size your get. As for flavor, the tea flavor was quite mild but the boba was sweet.

Okinawa brown sugar and Mangonada

Great Service. For a hot busy day. Service was fast and friendly. Good drink options. Okinawa brown sugar 3/5 compared to other boba place we have tried. Mangonada. 3.8/5 Their version of mangonada is not bad. I've had worse from an actual Mexican spot.

Wow the food was good! Don't mistake this place for the typical boba shop that sells a bunch of fried frozen food. Their food is actually made from scratch with a thoughtful menu. Their chef was trained in Italian food I think, and the Bolognese pasta was very flavorful with a great meat/sauce to noodles ratio (I like more meat and sauce to noodles). And the guy taking the order (owner?) was very helpful and friendly. Definitely check them out!

Popcorn Chicken Tater Tots

I got the mango lemon passion fruit tea which was good! Dragon fruit could be better it was sort of bland even tho everything was standard. Popcorn chicken was nice and crispy but for some reason I kept having this sour taste in the beginning which could be the marinate? Unsure... but truffle garlic parm tator tots were nice and crispy! You can def taste the truffle and portion was HUGE. Def like to try more!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent. Siblings with good talents run it.

Matcha Strawberry Matcha Latte Peach Rose Oolong Tea Chicken Fettucine Alfredo Popcorn Chicken

I wanted to love this place. I had this place bookmarked for months until I finally had some time to go. This place is in a not so busy, huge complex along Mission Blvd with plenty of parking. They have the typical ordering screen right in front. Which I usually prefer so i can have time to think about what I want. I know I really wanted to try the pasta because I don't think I have seen a boba place serve pasta before. So I got the chicken fettucine alfredo and a matcha strawberry latte. My bf got popcorn chicken and the peach rose oolong tea with boba. We also got our order for dine in. Didn't wait too long and the order is ready. Everything was packed up to go, (even though we said we were eating in). Someone did come out with plates and utensils which we appreciate. The matcha strawberry was okay, the popcorn chicken was okay, but the peach rose tea was really good. Surprisingly not too floral that it smells perfumy. Very refreshing. The pasta was good too, I like they used real parsley. I just think it was a bit expensive for what you get. Overall it was okay. I will give this place a chance again when I am in the area and try the pizzas and other drinks.

Situated in a shopping mall along a main road, Nobibi benefits from an abundance of parking spots and complements the coffee drinkers for their afternoon pick up from the nearby coffee shop. Mainly known for the soft serve but also making boba drinks, Nobibi brings in locals and commuters as well as those afar looking for some tasty dessert with the looks, flavors, and textures to imprint a memory for future cravings. We came in specifically for their soft serve and based on our search, Nobibi was one of the only spots that offered both "ice cream" and boba in one serving. While the ingredients that come together for their soft serve desserts are pretty simple and easy to get yourself, getting them separately and in short notice is challenging. And a soft serve spot where the machine isn't broken is rare based on our experiences with the likes of the fast food joints that serve them. Each of their soft serve cups come with a bed of corn flakes on the bottom providing a decent crunch with each bite, the soft serve which can come in vanilla or mango flavor, the toppings and finally the drizzle of caramel, strawberry, and chocolate sauce to meld it altogether. If you're looking for something simple, they also have just their soft serve on cones without all the hoopla, what's the fun in that? We got three soft serve cups to try: Brown Sugar Boba - a sweet concoction with brown sugar drizzle and boba for that added chewy texture. The boba was a bit too soggy for me and I would have preferred a bouncier profile, but it did satisfy the craving nonetheless. Strawberry Blush - fresh strawberry with strawberry sauce on top of vanilla soft serve and speared with a couple strawberry pocky sticks. For the strawberry fan, this will satisfy you completely! Dalgona Coffee - whipped coffee topped on vanilla soft serve offering a rich coffee dessert for those needing a caffeine boost (they also have decaf). We were able to enjoy our treats comfortably in the well lit and ventilated dining space. The staff were friendly and quick in service. The place was also relatively clean and quiet making it a perfect spot for camping out and getting some work or studying done (they have complimentary wifi). Overall, Nobibi fills a gap for that soft serve craving with their exceptional quality frozen dessert and providing eye candy for those wanting to capture the sweet, beautiful moment. The price is reasonable for the amount you get and the variety of ingredients in each cup. They have a decent amount of churn which encourages a cycling of fresh toppings but what could have been an X factor to give them a competitive edge against other milk tea shops, the boba missed the mark for me. I look forward to coming back to try the rest of their offerings but for now, hope you all get a good taste!

Now that I think about it I didnt taste much banana. Cinnamon Loaf was underwhelming. It was mushy and slimy even tho I asked them to warm it. The Castro Valley one is super tiny, no indoor seating and really only enough room for about 2-3 people to line up to order for the inside. It's a bit too tight in there for me. They do mostly Asian inspired pastries, mostly using croissant dough in all kinds of creative shapes and sizes. Even though many things don't fit my preference as I'm not big on savory pastries or ones that have meat in them, they do make some attractive and unique looking pastries. So I get it, why people line up for this. But I have tried several sweet type pastries and here are some notes. Custard Tart ($4/5*) Probably one of the best egg/custard tarts I've ever had. This is one of the simpler things in their display case. This is literally a flaky pastry and a well made custard filling. Most everything else in that display case is 2-3 times bigger and much more going on with fillings and decorations. I like simple pastries so this hit on my sensibilities big time. The custard was smooth and not too sweet, very Asian in sweetness. And the best part was the crust, it was so flaky, light and buttery. 10 times better than any egg tart I've had a Chinese or Portuguese bakery. Almond Danish ($7.50/3.5*) This is one of their more elaborate creations, even tho this is somewhat simpler than many other pastries they have. But this name doesn't really correlate with what I tasted, there is a lot more going on. The pastry part is in the shape of a muffin, but the texture is flaky like a croissant, maybe slightly more dense than a croissant. Then there may be a small amount of almond paste in the middle, but there were a lot more of this coffee cream. This was too big for me to eat in one sitting so I split it in half. It was decent but it definitely isn't an Almond Danish. Lol Strawberry Croffle ($5/5*) I love true Belgian/Liege waffles made with a yeasted dough but cooked til crisp in a cast iron waffle press. Not sure if this is Liege style but it carried a lot of the characteristics of one. Crisp from caramelized sugar being cooked in the exterior, nice chew in the center and garnished simply with a strawberry cream. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Cold Brew ($4.25/3.5*) I didn't love it, but it wasn't bad. It tasted better if drunk with one of their pastries. Alone I wouldn't do it again. But as a companion with a pastry, sure. I'll round to a fiver cuz service is usually pretty nice and efficient. And even tho 75% of the things here are too busy and complicated for me, the simple things I have tried, really schmacks. So a fandom has formed.
