The sizzling beef plate/ bò né was great with the banh mi. It's a little different here than some other places. The sauce / juice on the platter has a little bit of tomato. I would get this again. The Pork & Rice Noodle/ Egg Noodle Soup Hủ tíu/mì (ordered with soup on the side) was clean and flavorful. The soup is packed with flavor. The soursop tea was also light and refreshing. Easy to drink.

The hu tieu was so good. The broth was light but flavorful. Their chili oil and sate were great- good flavor and spiciness. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I felt bad because we got there pretty close to closing, but they weren't trippin. They didn't rush us either. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had a lot of plants. I'm definitely coming back.

This was my second time eating here. The first time was for a party that my friends had at this location. We came 20 to 30 minutes before closing and the staff was super friendly and that was a surprise. I expected them to be short with us being that it was so close to the end of the night, but that was just the opposite. Food came out quickly, and everything was perfect. The broth was flavorful. Everything in the soup was tasty. The Imperial rolls were really good and the peanut sauce was different than I expected, but I really liked it The waiter came over 2 to 3 times to check on us, and at the end of the meal asked how we like the food and if anything was wrong. The prices are very good. The portions are large and the food is fresh. To go back to the Imperial roles I'm gonna say that they were extremely fresh. The vegetables inside were really crispy which I liked, you can tell they were just made using really fresh ingredients. Definitely going to be one of my go to Vietnamese spots in San Leandro.

They took over the Spot that was Previously a Middle Eastern Restaurant!!! I Rolled into Saigon Yum and was Greeted and Seated!!! I was Presented a Menu and a Pitcher of Water!!! My Nephew and I were Perusing the Menu . Our Party Ordered , 2 Beef Special and A Beef Rib Bone Pho ! It took 15. Minutes and then are Pho bowls were Presented To Us at our table !!! They were Visually Appealing and Even Better Tasting!!! The Pho was Packed With Noodles and Full Of Tender Beef!!! Their Price Point Is On The Higher Side of the other Pho Shops in Town!!! The Restaurant Is Decorated nicely with Murals and a lot of Live Plants!!! This is a Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!! I keep my Pimp Hand Strong!!! I was excited when this place opened cuz I wanted to try the banh mi sandwiches. Finally made it and ordered the lemon grass beef banh mi and and order of chicken wings. Customer service was ok. The wings were pretty good, but I've had better. I love lemon grass dishes so was excited when the sandwich came and I began to eat. It walls decent but then I started to get a funky taste coming through when I got a bite with the cucumber. Upon inspection it appeared the cucumber was on its way out. I removed it and the rest of the sandwich but im hesitant to go back incase other things may be old.

Stopped by for first time. Mgr Minh stopped by to see how I liked the food. He stated they have been open nine months. bún bà huế was delicious. Not too spicy but plenty of meat, noodles and vegetables. Restaurant is spacious, clean and all the servers were very polite. I had a sugar cane drink which was also good. I ordered bbq chicken and pork belly Bahn mi to go. Definitely will be back.

Their chicken pho ( chicken soup) is one of a kind. They use chicken thigh. Juicy and flavorful!! Have to order the ginger fish sauce. Not on the menu. Their Vietnamese "breakfast" the beef skillet with eggs and baguette ... yum!!! Worth the trip. So good the family and I were there 2x this week

I highly recommend this new Vietnamese Spot in San Leandro, very good, taste is excellent, portion-wise is also good, service is excellent. I ordered the bone-in ribs Pho and I give them 2 thumbs up, tender and broth is tasty. I also heard from my co-worker who is a regular on this spot their Vietnamese Ice Coffee is also excellent. So folks, visit them you won't regret it !!

I noticed this restaurant a couple of days ago and filed it in the back of my head. Yesterday, we wanted some early lunch and decided to give them a try. We arrived a few minutes before their opening time of 10:00am. We stepped in after they opened their doors. A server told us to sit anywhere. Menus were presented first followed a minute later by some iced lemon tea. I ordered the Beef Rib Pho, and she ordered the Special Pho which has Rare Beef Brisket, Flank, Tendon, Tripe and Beef Meatballs. With Pho, before we add anything to the base bowl, we stir up the broth and try it first. Mine was good but gave a hint of salt. Hers had a richer beefier flavor. I was wondering if that was because of the Rare Beef. My Beef Rib was accompanied by a saucer with a pair of scissors to cut up the Beef. It was so tender and flavorful. On the side plate was the usual array of Basil, Bean Sprouts, Jalapeno Peppers and Lemon Wedge. Service was efficient. We'll be back to try other flavors.

Saw this place after getting nails done and looked real clean from outside. Went in and was greeted sat down and the place looked as clean as it did from outside. Food was great. Everything was filling. The pho had so much meat and noodles in there it never ended. Couldn't even finish it cuz it was so much food. The spicy beef was a delight. I made sure to destroy that. We ate around 11 ish and I'm writing this review at 1620 and I'm still full. Definitely going back to try the other stuff

Came here for dinner one night over the weekend. The restaurant had plenty of seating and there was no wait for table or food. There was lively Vietnamese music playing in the backgrounds. The restaurant had a wide variety of pho, bahn mi, rice plates, sizzling plates, Vietnamese coffee, and matcha drinks on its menu. We tried the pho - the soup was really good, and the bahn mi bo kho - the soup was also really good as well and went well with the baguette. I want to try the bo ne and Vietnamese coffee here in the future.

Then, as much as we loved the banh mi, the banner and the sidewalk sign advertising them as a new lunch option last year seemed almost like they were really, really trying to pull in more people any way they could. Every time I walked past this place, it was either empty or there were one to two tables with guests at a time. So when the word finally broke a few days ago that the owners have sold the place and are closing, I felt really sad, but wasn't surprised. It's definitely the end of an era, and is one of those longtime San Leandro restaurants in this strip of E 14th that has a comforting, early 2000s vibe -- and is now gone, like so many before them. It's frustrating, especially because the likelihood of them possibly getting replaced by a chain or yet another taqueria or Chinese place is high (though they apparently don't know what will be moving in after them). Dropped by yesterday with my husband for a final lunch. He got the bun bo hue and I got the yellow curry stir fry and fried rice. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the restaurant was nearly entirely full with people having their own last meals and saying their goodbyes to the owners. While the owner was incredibly nice, service was terrible. She was overworked, working the counter, packing up to-go orders, taking table orders, bringing out food, AND bussing tables alone. The party next to us was a little frustrated that she still hadn't come by to take their order and went to the counter to flag her down. I don't know how much longer Le Soleil would've remained viable if service has been like this for months. It's a sad situation, but I wish nothing but the best for the owners, especially if they decide to open another restaurant in the future.

Our food had just arrived, when a couple with two large dogs came into the restaurant. The dogs were NOT service dogs. The waiter proceeded to seat the couple with their dogs behind my husband and I. I was appalled!! The waiter never asked if we were OK if the couple sat near us. I want to point out that my husband and I are dog lovers and have had dogs for 20 years. I understand what it feels like to love them like family, but at the end of the day they are dogs. The law clearly states: "Under California Health and Safety Code § 114259.5, live animals are strictly prohibited inside the indoor dining or food preparation areas of a restaurant. The only legal exceptions are for official law enforcement dogs and individually trained service dogs. Emotional support animals (ESAs) or companion pets do not qualify under California law or the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and are not allowed indoors." So unless you are comfortable with dog hair possibly flying into your food, because you never know when a dog is going to shake, I would advise you NOT to eat here.
