I placed an online order and it was ready by the time I got there (approx 20min drive). I tried 3 different vegan pizzas (Hawaiian, Sicilian, chicken pesto), vegan garlic cheese bread, and the vegan cheesecake. Everything was incredibly delicious the vegan cheese bread specifically, was SO GOOD! I ate the entire thing in one sitting! Prices are incredibly affordable and it made it hard not to order the entire menu. I do wish they offered a vegan salad though. Will be coming back. read more

Razzo's Pizza and Salads is the best fastest and cheapest pizza I've ever had. Way better than round tables prices in this economy. The ranch is hands down the best here out of all the other pizza or wing places I've tried. They allow easy customization and if I want to ask for a more crunchy pizza, they do it without hesitation. I enjoy trying the different sodas they sell occasionally, for example in this photo, it was the Baja Laguna lemonade. Pizza is so good, I even eat the crust. Workers are very kind, very quick pizza and take orders right away. Very good customer service, always greeted when I come in. Never had bad experience with the few years I've been going. Always love a good conversation as they make my food. Not vegan, but I also tried the vegan pizzas because I heard it's as good as the real pizza. I stumbled upon this spot while looking for a vegan pizza spot for my indulgence. From their vegan offerings, we ordered a medium Sicilian style pizza ($14) with a pesto base, and their "kombination" pizza ($15). The prices here are certainly unbeatable given the amount of food you get as well. Solid crust (although it could use more gluten in my opinion) and fresh veggies on top to accompany any of the mock meats you'd like. I definitely enjoyed the Sicilian pizza the most out of the two. I also ordered a Greek Salad without feta ($6.50) and asked for some water as well. They don't offer tap water so I ended up paying for some bottles without realizing. Bottles were sticky when I went so I hope that's something they take care of for others. Overall, the pizza was good but it did not blow me away. I've had better vegan pizza elsewhere (even at spots that do not specialize in pizza) but I appreciate that they even offer a dedicated menu for vegans to choose from. The fact that they offer a variety of mock meats is impressive but it was hard to tell them apart after a while. Vegan pizza! and not just pizza with vegan cheese. Their vegan "bacon" (which looks more like ham) is my fave of their fake meats. The dairy-free pesto sauce is delicious. The pizzas are done quickly and with friendly service. The crisp crust is a little blackened sometimes and the toppings can be uneven, but I'm a regular all the same. I'm always looking for a really good salad spot and I finally found one. I'm very picky with my salad dressings, in particular with ranch and they have restaurant style ranch which is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are great. They also have Pesto wings and fries which blew my mind. Why haven't I tried this place sooner? It's literally less than two miles away. I am not a fan of waiting for delivery when I am famished, so I ordered online. It said 15-25 minutes, so we headed over in 15 minutes. We ordered a large combination, chicken ranch club and a taco salad. This place is in a run-down-sketch-plaza, but I go to the Foodmaxx often. I didn't really expect much from this place, but they proved me wrong. This place is small and you can dine in, but it's more of a takeout and delivery restaurant. When we arrived, we had to wait three more minutes, but that wasn't too long. I enjoyed the chicken ranch pizza a lot and the taco salad next. The combo was last, but still pretty good. I've definitely had better vegan pizza. This felt like your basic, standard bare minimum decent vegan pizza. It is perhaps similar to if I had attempted a basic pizza in my own kitchen. I wouldn't come back for the vegan pizza but it's an okay option if you need something and it's in vicinity. Totally acceptable, a bit meh. We didn't love or hate it. Neutral. The cheesecake was okay as well. It was a bit heavy on top of all the other food we had ordered so we struggled a bit with it as well as finishing off the garlic cheese bread. Service was good. Hayward location is the way to go. Ordered here a hand full of times via doordash. Such a great lunch option and I love all of the salads. My coworker got to into liking the beet salad dressing. So yummy and creamy. I have had a chance to try most of the salads my least favorite is the taco salad but it would just be me. I love the Asian, the Cobb, the spinach salad, and the pizzas to share. All fresh ingredients with really good serving size of toppings. I prefer the medium size as the large is way too much and the small is good if your eating something on the side. I had the vegan Kombination and had plenty toppings for a $15 medium 12" *) Took only about 10 minutes to prepare a to go order at the counter. Cons: *) Too far to drive for a repeat *) Small space so not too much seating area *) As other reviews indicated, the crust is likely a pre-made shell. It just didn't have the flavor and texture I had hoped for and remember from my non vegan days. I get a half order which has 8 small pieces but it's plenty for one person. The wings are so delicious too. My mouth waters just thinking about them. While I was waiting for my mom at an appointment she had at the beauty salon, this place came up as the closest restaurant that had plant-based options. What I love about this place is that it is in the center of a place where you probably wouldn't expect to see plant-based food. I guess you could say the only thing that was missing from this restaurant was a few standing arcade machines. I love that they have the menu in full view as well as the menu of plant-based options. By the way, I was very impressed by how many plant-based options they had! This place is vegan friendly! The area is clean and the noise level is average. I wanted to be ambitious with what I ordered and at the same time I wanted to play it safe because sometimes the best flavors can be found in the simplest ways to make something. I chose the vegan cheese pizza and the plant-based garlic bread. I loved the consistency of the dough that they were using. It is not a typical pizza dough and I did not ask if it was homemade or if it was vegan all the way down to the type of dough that was used. My one concern was that the cheese pizza would taste too much like the garlic cheese sticks and to a certain extent they did. However, it did not take away from the experience of two separate dishes. I was not sure if I could taste any of the vegan mozzarella on the pizza but the pizza tasted good. My favorite were the garlic cheese bread slices. I think next time I will ask them for a dipping sauce that's a little bit more warm. They have a wide array of drinks to select, and a good enough place for you to sit with a small group or a large group up to 12 people perhaps. There are personal pizza options as well as options for pizzas to feed a large group. And for the quality of this food, it is fairly priced. If you are looking for good pizza in the area, offering different sizes and options, vegan friendly, and tasty, consider visiting this restaurant. Wow! I have been trying to find a decent salad bar on this side of the Bay. There's just too much junk food around here its pathetic. But when I found this pizza/salad joint I figured I give it a try. I wish they had extra items I can throw into my salad like: roasted beets, carrots, or avocado.. But I understand from a business owner perspective this all can be an added expense and maybe not most customers order salads around here.. But overall, the lettuce, eggs, and tomatoes all tasted so fresh and this is important to me. Who wants old soggy lettuce as their salad?! I ended up tossing my avocado and raspberries into this delicious salad and it was so much more fulfilling. I would totally come back to try the other salads. I hope the serving look and taste is consistent here because we all know that sometimes we get good food served sometimes and not all the time. Consistency is important for a business. I ordered pizza from Razzos, It took me to SLICE(delivery app) website. The order received was wrong. SLICE didn't take accountability. I drove to the pizza shop and encountered the owner Mark. Who was beligerent and angry. He refused to take responsbility as well. He told me he's perfect and doesn't make mistakes. I will not use SLICE when ordering from other pizza shops. I will also no longer patron Razzo's. This review is so others know SLICE and Razzo's aren't interested in customer service. They will take your money and hang you out to dry. read more

I tried the location in Oakland years ago and haven't been to any other since...until last night! A friend and I went specifically so that we could try the vegan pizza. She also ordered one and I totally forgot to take pictures but I will say that it was great and hit the spot! I will take pictures next time. I had a vegan pizza with vegan cheese, vegan bacon, garlic, mushrooms and spinach and a spinach salad...and it was all great...loved it! I definitely will be back. The lady in there was very helpful in my making choices and she was very kind. It is a small place and it is cold in there with the door open...we ate there, but I don't think I will next time, I will just bring home. They had the condiments on the counter, chili flakes, parmesan cheese and other hot sauces...but they only have one set, so if someone has them you have to either borrow, or go without. I would consider petitioning the government to make pizza a legitimate food group of its own. My buddy and I were returning from Bodega Bay and he mentioned pizza when I mentioned thinking about food. I looked at the places in Novato and didn't really care for most of them. I like the taste of food but I'm not a foodie. Fancy is not something necessary to enhance the taste of the food. Hayward came to mind and Razzo's was the first to be displayed. The photos looked reasonable and we headed that way. It was a little odd finding it next to Food Maxx but that isn't bad. Walking into the place, without any other customers seemed odd but things were nice and neat. We picked a 12 inch Kombination/Vito's Deluxe half-and-half with two drinks. There was a Yelp check-in offer, which I showed the counter person. I didn't ask to see the receipt, so I'm not entirely sure if I got the discount or not. Oops. At $17 and change, it wasn't as expensive as Mountain Mike's and certainly a lot less than Round Table. However, they didn't have fountain soda. According to the gentleman making the pizza, the ovens are used for more than pizza, but only take 1 minute to bake the pizza. As I'm seeing other reviews, I'm thinking that it is heated quickly and it loses that heat quickly, as well, but our pizza was hot in the store. (I'll remember to notice which pizza ovens various places use to make sure not to take out pizza from these kinds of ovens.) The old Blodgett ovens were the best. Our pizza was very good. I can't say that it was the best, but I liked the crust, sauce, and ingredients. The crust didn't have a mechanical texture as many do, as though they were made by a machine and stored immediately. Hopefully, they went through the whole process of proofing the dough in store--that's how it tasted. I could visit Razzo's every week, I'm sure, even though it's over an hour's drive. I didn't know pizza could be so wrong, but this was BAD. The pizza is awful, the dough is some kind of instant dough, the flavor is stale and strange in texture. The cheese is oily and weird! The look and feel of this pizza sent me back to public school, the memories of that half cooked weird dough mirrored the taste of this dough; although this dough is thinner and a lot firmer, solid really... This place is like a hidden gem. Tucked into a corner out of site from street traffic this place is a must try. After looking at the menu online I decided to just go and order in person. There's a few tables to dine in with a TV for entertainment. I decided to get a large Vitos deluxe and a medium bbq chicken. Both pizzas were ready and piping hot in about 20 minutes. The crust was not to thick and baked to perfection. The flavors were delicious even the leftovers the next day. The prices were about average but they also have specials that could save you money. We usually go to Mod Pizza in Fremont, but one night we ordered from Razzo's for delivery because there was too much traffic to head to Fremont for dinner. We didn't regret it! There aren't a lot of pizza places that offer dairy-free (vegan) cheese but especially not a lot that offer many varieties of vegan meats! In fact I haven't come across any, at least not in Hayward or surrounding cities- other than Razzo's :) I love their vegan combination pizza and also like the vegan chicken/bacon. My son always gets a size small pizza and it's affordable, my husband usually goes for the salad wraps which are very customizable. My only suggestion would be to update the vegan pizza ordering, so that you can add extra toppings! Currently it doesn't allow you to, which can be a little disappointing since some of the pizzas are only vegan cheese with vegan meat, no veggies. I understand the price would jump up but I'd be okay with it if I could add more toppings. Delivery is always much faster than estimated and the food is fresh!
