Half Garlic Bread with Ranch to go
    Alanalyn A.

Razzo's Pizza and Salads is the best fastest and cheapest pizza I've ever had. Way better than round tables prices in this economy. The ranch is hands down the best here out of all the other pizza or wing places I've tried. They allow easy customization and if I want to ask for a more crunchy pizza, they do it without hesitation. I enjoy trying the different sodas they sell occasionally, for example in this photo, it was the Baja Laguna lemonade. Pizza is so good, I even eat the crust. Workers are very kind, very quick pizza and take orders right away. Very good customer service, always greeted when I come in. Never had bad experience with the few years I've been going. Always love a good conversation as they make my food. Not vegan, but I also tried the vegan pizzas because I heard it's as good as the real pizza. I enjoy the vegan garlic bread with marinara and the vegan bacon and pineapple pizza.

Razzo's Pizza has delicious food and I think the pizza and salads are my favorites. I typically strongly dislike pineapple on pizza but when I had it here, it surpassed my expectations. The ranch they make is my favorite ranch I've ever had. The service at Razzo's is also amazing. The worker was very efficient and attentive. They made sure everything was accurate and made conversation while asking clarifying questions to ensure customer satisfaction. 10/10 for sure!

Love the fact that Razzo's offers a variety of solid pizzas for reasonable prices. Everything is made to order so you can expect fresh pizza each and every time. I stumbled upon this spot while looking for a vegan pizza spot for my indulgence. From their vegan offerings, we ordered a medium Sicilian style pizza ($14) with a pesto base, and their "kombination" pizza ($15). The prices here are certainly unbeatable given the amount of food you get as well. Solid crust (although it could use more gluten in my opinion) and fresh veggies on top to accompany any of the mock meats you'd like. I definitely enjoyed the Sicilian pizza the most out of the two. I also ordered a Greek Salad without feta ($6.50) and asked for some water as well. They don't offer tap water so I ended up paying for some bottles without realizing. Bottles were sticky when I went so I hope that's something they take care of for others. Overall, the pizza was good but it did not blow me away. I've had better vegan pizza elsewhere (even at spots that do not specialize in pizza) but I appreciate that they even offer a dedicated menu for vegans to choose from. The fact that they offer a variety of mock meats is impressive but it was hard to tell them apart after a while. I think if their chicken was made from soy curls or thicker seitan, it would've been more satisfying. Plenty of parking is available in the plaza lot.

    Vegan pesto pizza with "bacon"

Vegan pizza! and not just pizza with vegan cheese. Their vegan "bacon" (which looks more like ham) is my fave of their fake meats. The dairy-free pesto sauce is delicious. The pizzas are done quickly and with friendly service. The crisp crust is a little blackened sometimes and the toppings can be uneven, but I'm a regular all the same. The decor isn't fancy, but it's clean and warm. So glad these tasty vegan pizzas are in my neighborhood!

Located in the Foodmaxx shopping center. Next to the liquor store & subways. Easy to miss as its in the corner. When I walked in, it was quite busy and smelled really good. Large menu and photos poster on wall. No seating due to Covid. Employee very helpful on phone & when I walked in. Very nice staff. Had a Groupon to use, only reason I came. The reviews seemed promising online but when I got my pizza, I could of sworn it was frozen pizza. Ordered a large combination, size looked like a medium to me. Crust was thin, reading more reviews, most likely premade. Also ordered plain wings which tasted fine a bit on the small side too. Overall, I would only return if I'm in the area. And will try other things offered. Probably not the pizza again.

I'm always looking for a really good salad spot and I finally found one. I'm very picky with my salad dressings, in particular with ranch and they have restaurant style ranch which is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are great. They also have Pesto wings and fries which blew my mind. I feel like more restaurants should have more pesto options and they definitely have a great pesto sauce. I've tried pizza, wings, fries, salads and everything is 10/10. The service is also very friendly and quick.

Why haven't I tried this place sooner? It's literally less than two miles away. I am not a fan of waiting for delivery when I am famished, so I ordered online. It said 15-25 minutes, so we headed over in 15 minutes. We ordered a large combination, chicken ranch club and a taco salad. This place is in a run-down-sketch-plaza, but I go to the Foodmaxx often. I didn't really expect much from this place, but they proved me wrong. This place is small and you can dine in, but it's more of a takeout and delivery restaurant. When we arrived, we had to wait three more minutes, but that wasn't too long. I enjoyed the chicken ranch pizza a lot and the taco salad next. The combo was last, but still pretty good. I'm so glad I found this place. I used to like Pizza Hut and 3 Geeks until they changed ownership, so this will be my new pizza spot. Can't wait to try other toppings and salads!

Vegan garlic cheese bread, vegan BBQ chicken, vegan cheese and veggies
    Karishma M.

We ordered the vegan garlic cheese bread, a vegan BBQ chicken pizza, a vegan cheese and veggies pizza, and a cheesecake. Everything was pretty standard and okay. I've definitely had better vegan pizza. This felt like your basic, standard bare minimum decent vegan pizza. It is perhaps similar to if I had attempted a basic pizza in my own kitchen. I wouldn't come back for the vegan pizza but it's an okay option if you need something and it's in vicinity. Totally acceptable, a bit meh. We didn't love or hate it. Neutral. The cheesecake was okay as well. It was a bit heavy on top of all the other food we had ordered so we struggled a bit with it as well as finishing off the garlic cheese bread. Service was good. Prices are reasonable. Perhaps some other of the vegan pizza flavors are better than what we got.

A lovely note for my bland salad.

This place was my go-to, however, as of today that's changed. I understand times are hard and Covid, but c'mon. Ordered a salad. It was on doordash so I didn't have the option to "add/pay" for it, but in the notes I wrote, please add cheese, croutons and extra ranch if needed charge me. The response I received, was a nice lil note taped on my salad saying: 'I'm sorry, but I couldn't add the croutons, cheese and ranch because you didn't pay for it'

    Desi B.

Hayward location is the way to go. Ordered here a hand full of times via doordash. Such a great lunch option and I love all of the salads. My coworker got to into liking the beet salad dressing. So yummy and creamy. I have had a chance to try most of the salads my least favorite is the taco salad but it would just be me. I love the Asian, the Cobb, the spinach salad, and the pizzas to share. All fresh ingredients with really good serving size of toppings. I prefer the medium size as the large is way too much and the small is good if your eating something on the side. My go to place if in trying to eat semihealthy lol. Really good prices too.

Far too often among Asian restaurants in the Bay, the menus are quite similar and the dishes taste like they were made with the same recipes. But here the menu had so much more flavor, variety, and creativity! It turns out that Veggie Lee was previously featured in a Michelin Guide to California, and after eating their food I'm not surprised. We ordered five dishes here and all of them were delicious. Each had varying intricate flavors, and unique ingredients. The Shark's Fin Bamboo Fungus Soup was a pleasant and interesting start to the meal. Followed by two dishes that I'll highly recommend: the Lemon Grass Bean Curd and the Pea Leaves with Abalone Mushrooms. The Pinenuts w/Tooms Fried Rice went great with all of these. Integrated into downtown Hayward just a block from the theater and other eateries and drink spots, Khao Hom has made a strong impression in the local community drawing a good following for weekend brunch as well as weekday lunch. With street parking right in front as well as sharing free public parking in the lot behind the restaurant, once you've slogged through traffic to get to this area, you'll be able to easily park and venture in for your food experience. As you enter, you'll likely need to wait for one of their staff members to seat you in one of their two dining spaces. The rooms are well lit and enhance the ambiance of your meal (and photos) with natural lighting. When seated, you'll get their food and drinks menu in addition to finding their dessert menu at the table. As standard, each table gets a carafe of water for you to serve yourselves. Their menu is quite extensive in representing popular Thai flavors with a bit of flare. You'll find curries, soups, noodles and chef specialties in their own sections of the menu. They also have some alcohol infused drinks for those looking for a full brunch experience. As a novice to some Thai dishes, I did have to ask the staff to explain a bit about certain dishes, but there were a few that caught my eye and never let go. Thai tea - flavorful and bold; rich but not too sweet Matcha latte - rich matcha flavor and creamy; best sipped and can be packed in a to-go cup if you don't finish Tom yum crab omelet - beautifully crafted omurice-esque dish where you'll find white rice encased in an egg omelet topped with succulent pieces of crab meat and smothered in tom yum soup. This dish is not only a pleasure to look at but the taste and textures in each bite will have you salivating for more until the dish completely disappears. This unique take is a must get for first timers! Roti gai tod - crispy fried yet succulent chicken served with a small serving of creamy yellow curry, white rice, and a roti alongside their delicious chili sauce. Fantastic balance of textures and flavors will have your tongue dancing from the spices. Tom kha soup - a bowl of comfort with a whole lot of shredded chicken, red onions, and mushrooms with a few big quarters of fresh tomatoes. It's not as creamy as I would like but the flavor is there with its abundance in lemongrass. The portion is large as one order can easily split into two bowls. Fried ice cream - a meal topper and sweet indulgence for those looking to try something new and rarely found elsewhere. This giant meteorite of a breaded and fried ball of vanilla ice cream is topped with chocolate fudge, powdered sugar, a generous helping of whipped cream and plenty of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, and cantaloupe). Definitely shareable and a surprising star of their dessert menu - they could definitely do more to advertise this! The staff were super friendly and quick to take dirty dishes out of the way. They kept the place clean, served the food promptly and treated all of their customers with respect and smiles. Top notch crew from the front of the house to the back. Furthermore, should you need the restrooms, they do have two gender neutral rooms that were decently maintained. Overall, Khao Hom is not your everyday Thai restaurant nor is it your run of the mill brunch spot - this is a unique experience with food created out of passion to merge these together. The result is an aesthetically pleasing yet hunger extinguishing meal that will have you discovering new flavors and craving for more. With its proximity to the city center, it's a great a spot to plan out a lunch or brunch before a nice stroll around or a movie. Thai food has never looked and tasted so good!

There are exactly zero seats in this establishment, which I'm fine with because most of the time I'm getting RRV off of DoorDash, and the rest of the time I'm taking it to my nearby home anyway. Don't expect to lounge around and soak up the atmosphere in here is what I'm telling you. That's fine. The lake is right there. I'm a somewhat new pescatarian who also seems to be getting more and more lactose intolerant as I age, so I'll happily eat vegan to avoid the perils of cheese and cream. I grew up in a Mexican-American household, and since a typical Mexican restaurant is so meat and dairy centric, I was worried I'd be forever relegated to shrimp and fish burritos sans dairy and porkless nopales forever if I needed a fix. I've come to enjoy RRVs plant based dairy and meat alternatives quite a bit. The cauliflower surprised me. It isn't wearing a cheeky wink wink nudge nudge meat costume, it's just straight up crispy (breaded?) cauliflower. Great in tacos. Now for the Rico Rico MVP, the green sauce. Some variant of the newly trendy (thanks for that Cheeseboard, sincerely, more green sauce is a great thing) but steadfast staple of taquerias and Mexican food grocery aisles forever, I've used leftover packets on anything from ramen to pizza. I'm guessing it's avocado/tomatillo/cilantro/lime based? Whatever it is, I want to buy it by the half gallon. Don't get me wrong, the red sauce is nice, but the green sauce elevates anything it touches. Like most takeout Mexican, service is fast and efficient, but like I mentioned, Rico Rico Vegano is a "both my wife and I worked a full day and are exhausted" staple meal so the service tends to be moot. I bet they're friendly to DoorDash drivers too. If any of this sounds good to you but you wish they served meat and dairy...you're in for a pleasant discovery. Rico Rico Taco is around the corner, they even have seating. Same high quality food, for the carnivorous palate.

The booths and tables remind me of my childhood traditional Chinese restaurant back in Fresno, ca yet with a modern twist, in my opinion portions are generous as well which is inviting for a family feast...well done tasty Szechuan.

So when ppl here say the portions are HUGE, they're really not joking. We ordered the chili fried…read morechicken, fish in hot chili oil, and the eggplant with garlic sauce and took home a full ass meal after we'd finished (over) eating. All dishes came out as we hoped/expected with both the chicken and fish providing the nummy sensation that is unique to Szechuan cuisine. We threw in the eggplant order because we wanted some veggies and something that didn't overtly threaten to numb our palettes and were very happy with that as well. Chicken was fried well and not dry at all which was a lovely experience. Fish was also flavorful and enjoyable to eat, although perhaps the least memorable of the dishes. I wouldn't NOT get any of the dishes again and might elevate the chicken as a must get if you're there for the a Szechuan experience. Well probably come back the next time we get a craving for that nummy feeling.

The food is exceptionally fresh, and you can tell each dish is prepared with care. The Salmon Mango Salad is outstanding--one of the freshest salads I've ever had. The Pad Thai is perfectly balanced and not overly tamarind-heavy like many others I've tried. The lunch special is also a great deal, with two entrées plus rice and your choice of soup or salad. The service staff are very attentive and friendly.

This review is much overdue as Chai Thai Noodles has earned its spot into our Bay Area restaurant…read morerotation--usually our go to spot for the basic Thai food. My partner and I usually come for the basic comfort items like Pad Thai, Pad Se Ew, Lao Sausage, and/or their sampler. Occasionally we'd get their papaya salad, Tom Yum soup, or other entrees to share, but I do feel that they don't execute those dishes as well as the basics we frequently return for. I may be critiquing them harder than others on their papaya salad and Nam Khao because my mom does it best (no bias...). However, their portions are large and the flavors are great all around. I think they do some items better than others, but I have yet to be disappointed by any of their food. It's always great to try something new on the menu and be pleasantly surprised. But aside from the food, the customer service and ambiance encourages us to come back every time. They're kind, patient, and attentive all around. Whether we're just picking up food, dining in at peak times or during the quiet hours, they always deliver a great experience. Their dining room is fairly large and they have a softer lighting that compliments that TLC decor well. Through and through, Chai Thai is consistent and reliable.
