Put our name down early and waited about 40 mins. Got a nice table and great food. Wife got sweet bread French toast, and I got panasadas (Malasadas pancakes). Delicious! Great "local diner" feel! Don't expect something crazy fancy. Simple plastic glasses, great local view of the beach, and simple local feel. Loved this local spot. Highly recommend for laid back couples! read more

Small place, long wait time, check in on the tablet or Yelp app. The Portuguese sausage and eggs meal is pretty good, get it with pancakes! My husband had the rainbow pancakes. Very good! If we are in Hawaii again, we will come back. It is very reasonable for cost too. read more

Super good breakfast place. My husband and I were just in the area for our honeymoon and looking for a great place to eat! We first went to this place on Saratoga Road and it was great! We were hoping though for an ocean view and was glad to find another location right in Waikiki. We decided to ride bikes and take our luck at a LONG wait for a table! It tends to be a VERY BUSY location so make sure you check in!!! Once seated we had a fabulous breakfast and service with a good view of the water. I would go again a million times! Super delicious. read more

I love this place. I came here again after coming the last time I was in Waikiki. It's been a while so I didn't know if it was a Hawaii hangover or the food was actually good. Upon going back I seen that things have and haven't changed. Last time you could just walk in and now there's a long hour to hour and 1/2 wait list. It's cool though because it's right across the street from the beach and the people watching is great inside and out. I remember how they made great pancakes with an emphasis on whip cream. Today was no exception. They brought out my cakes and they were delicious and it was piled with whip cream. I instantly gain five pounds when I looked at it. I couldn't even finish it because it was so big. Not a bad thing. The service was what you would expect. Everyone was up beat and always ready to help. I can't wait to come back to Hawaii and back to Eggs n Things. read more

This place is so good and popular plus the service is great and the food is amazing you can reserve online too

I placed an online order since this place can get really busy. I odered a spam and green onion omelet with a short stack of pancakes. My fiance ordered mochi waffles with fresh pineapple. The food was great! My online order was ready when it was time to pick it up. The staff was very friendly. It definately fixed our breakfast craving for the day and would highly recommend it. read more

This places was soooooooo goooood! The wait was an hour wait. Which I didn't minded Since I went shopping and waited for the text notification. On when to head back. Not sure why the rating isn't high at this place. I got the egg Benedict with Canadian bacon and a side of tomatoes & spinach which was bomb! Food was flavorful. My husband got the steak and highly suggest this meal if your into steaks for breakfast. Over all the food was great. read more

Fast service and good food. Not sure why everyone complains about the wait time here. Just reserve the day of in Yelp and you'll get seated within 15 minutes of arrival. Staff is fast service and not friendly. You can tell none of them want to be there and it shows. My server didn't refill water when I asked and I had to ask for ketchup twice from her and she still didn't bring it. I asked a different server for ketchup the third time and she brought it right away. Then our server was all pissed. Just do your job, why am I paying 20% for tip when all I asked for was darn ketchup you kept not bringing? Do not get the alcoholic drinks here, the vodka they use is straight rubbing alcohol (those $5 vodka bottles stores keep in the back fridge for alcoholics). Disgusting. I got the island fried rice and it wasn't good. They put bean sprouts and celery into the fried rice and it just wasn't good. The custom 3 item omelette is where it's at. They made the eggs super fluffy and yummy. I won't go back here next time I'm in town. read more

Food was great and they have this business down to a science. Make a reservation though!

Line was long, and the wait time was 2 hours. Once you sign in on the iPad by the stairs. They will text you once your table is ready. Don't go too far because your table will be given to the next person on the list. Food is great, and the types of choices are plenty enough. We go to this one almost every time visiting Oahu. read more

So sad my last day here and I was sooooo looking forward to eating here but unfortunately I was not able to. Yeah, he tuna was off the charts. It was so tender you didn't even need a knife ,, and the coconut pancakes were amazing.

A mainstay on the island and always good food when on the beach. Be prepared to wait a little bit but it is a staple and you will enjoy your food. Good coffee, friendly service. You should stop by and check it out for a casual experience. read more

Went here for my moms birthday brunch back in September! It is now December and I am still thinking about this place. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The food was great and the staff were amazing. I can't remember our waitress name but he cracked jokes and answered every question with no hesitation. He recommended the French toast to me and I am glad I got to try it! It was huge but I finished every bite. The outside sky view was amazing and we even took beautiful pictures. When I visit Hawaii again I will be returning. I also recommend doing the waitlist on yelp. We were seated immediately read more

FYI join the yelp waitlist before you arrive!!! It's a small cozy restaurant located across from the beach. Service was mediocre- our server didn't look like she wanted to be here which is understandable I guess since it was pretty busy! The food was also okay but my brother said the loco moco was good. I ordered the morning wrap and it was okay, nothing too special, just a regular breakfast burrito. read more

The two food items my husband and I got were absolutely incredible. Our waitress was awesome and super friendly. They're always super busy, so plan on getting there early or plan on having a decent wait time. But it's worth it! Inside the restaurant is quite small, so I feel larger parties (6+) would have a difficult time having space. But otherwise everything was great! read more

I love the yelp reservation. It saves so much time. We loved the food and the experience. The service though was a-bit rude. Perfect breakfast spot for the low maintenance type. Line does get long but they offer a waitlist on yelp so you can reserve as you're walking there. I would recommend the potatoes over the rice and pancake options. read more

We had to wait an hour and reserved our place on yelp. We ended up showing up almost half an hour later and the host was gracious enough to still seat us! Our server was so kind and mellow. He said he was already retired, but just liked having something fun to do and he was so fun to talk with. I ordered the eggs benedict with kahlúa pork and a taro bun. It was the best breakfast I've ever had. It came with a side of potatoes, which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. My friend got the fried rice and an order to go because it was so good. The ambience was busy, but we were so happy to be seated and served so quickly, with the view of the ocean that it felt relaxing anyways. I really don't understand why this place is so popular. Service was just ok, not particularly friendly. The food is covered in sugary canned cream. The eggs Benedict sauce was gelatinous, as though made with flour not eggs, and the bacon was undercooked. The area itself is hot, cramped, and only a handful of seats have a view of the beach. Do not recommend. read more

Not sure what else I could say about this place The location is great right by the beach(across the street) The food is good I had the spinach, cheese, bacon omelet with a side of chicken mango sausage came out to be 32 dollars after tip I think it's a bit high for breakfast but it is what it is I wanted to try the place. read more
