The food is delicious. The staff is fantastic. Nolan ran check in smoothly despite a long wait list and Giselle was so friendly and attentive. Brave the line. It's worth it.

J R S.

Always solid if you can tolerate the wait. Been going to ENT for years. All locations (old and new). Strawberry pancakes here are a reason to live. Also the Loco Moco and Omelettes are superb. Worth the wait. Remember, you're on Hawaii Time.

Arleen S.

Came here last week on a quick two day trip with my wife and our two friends that suggested this restaurant. We woke up around 7 and immediately placed ourselves on the waitlist via yelp. We stayed next door so we walked over and waited about 10 minutes before being seated. The service was amazing..not once was my coffee empty, the food came out fast, and the food was delicious! Although the restaurant itself is small, they get people in and out quickly. The restaurant overlooks the ocean so it's pretty awesome! I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Yvonne C.

Such a cute restaurant! I thought downstairs was the restaurant but you have to walk a bit further and up the stairs. There's indoor and a little cute covered outdoor area seating. We ordered the loco moco, fresh island ahi and kids banana pancakes. The ahi was a bit too cooked which made the texture less desirable to eat. The portion for the kids pancakes were massive!!! My toddler loved it though. Our waiter even came and let us pick out a hat bc we ordered from the kids menu. Would def like to come back and try other items on the menu!

Anandita S.

We waited over an hour for our table. It was definitely not a place we would come back. I wish they kept the place bit more clean. I barely finished my shared meal due to the heat and smell of the place. The food is definitely delicious and freshly made. My kids loved the pancakes. And my husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Probably the most polite we have came around.

Siobhain M.

Love love loveeeeeeed this breakfast spot! I got the chicken and waffles with a grilled pineapple--delicious! Coming from the south where chicken and waffles is a staple, this Hawaiian twist with the pineapple was perrfecccct! The breakfast potatoes--soooo good! Our waiter, such a sweet man! He was so patient with our larger party and made sure all of us were satisfied. We sat by the window and got to feel the fresh breeze from the ocean.

The food was 10 out of 10! I would definitely recommend going here early in the morning as it gets pretty busy but they do have a waitlist that moves decently quick. It's right by the water so the view is beautiful. The service was great and the food came out quick and was hot. I would definitely go here again next time I visit Waikiki Beach.

Christine D.

Perfect brunch spot. Friendly service and delicious food :) We usually like to try different restaurants while on vacation, but loved Eggs n Things so much we came here twice. The sides of potatoes are a must!! We got the steak and eggs, mochi waffles, island fried rice, breakfast burrito, and ENT burger. Super convenient location -- the wait time can get long so join the waitlist on Yelp & you can either walk around some of the shops or stay in your hotel while checking your spot in line via the Yelp app.

Amanda L.

Delicious and historic! Great place and convenient for our Circle Hotel stay! Service was great! Beautiful views from the restaurant to the Ocean across the street.

Anna B.

Everyone is nice, things move fast here and it's like a local breakfast spot. I had just pineapple spears bc everything else seemed too heavy to eat. It's very crowded in here but they seem to have a good system in place to control the crowd.

Allison B.

Kent was amazing!! So kind and sweet. The food quality was great, with good portions. The view of the ocean creates a nice ambiance with an ocean breeze. This place is good so it can be busy, I recommend putting my your name in through Yelp to mitigate the wait period during peak hours.

Tiffany L.

Definitely worth th3 wait, large portions. Make a reservation even with a party of 2 we had to wait a little bit. Small diner vibes, great food

Skylar C.

If you want a sweet, yummy breakfast then this is your place! I got the buttermilk pancakes with a side of whipped cream and macadamia nuts and they were delicious! My husband was a little more spontaneous and opted for the honey chicken and waffles and was a big fan. The only downside to this popular restaurant on Wakiki beach is that it stays busy so expect to wait 45+ minutes. However once you're in the service is great and you will be in and out! Looking forward to visiting again.

Can't give a review without talking about the wait. Which should be pronounced "Waaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiit". Easily add at least 10-15 minutes to whatever estimate time they give. Take the counter option to reduce wait time. Ambiance: absolutely none. Service: Good. Food: Just OK. Altogether, probably lucky to get three stars. read more

Visiting from out of state and we chose this place because it was open early and conveniently located next to our resort. Food was okay, nothing extraordinary. We have an 8 month baby so it takes a while to feed him and eat. Our waitress was a little rude in the way she made us feel rushed. It seems like they are eager to get you in, fed, and out the door in order to seat the next customer. read more

Arrived a little before 8 am on a Thursday morning. Had heard about how ridiculous the line gets so was expecting a solid hour or so wait. Nope. Arrived, put our name on the list and maybe waited 15 minutes. Place is small so the wait is understandable. Tried the mochi waffle with a side of bacon. Was a bit chewy, not sure if that was the intended texture. Overall, ok. View is nice since it's right on the beach. read more

The service was really good, our waitress was really nice and friendly. As soon as the food was ready, another person brought it to our table. It was hot, fresh and good. We both ordered omelettes with pancakes. The pancakes were so good. The restaurant was clean, but definitely could use some spruce up of the decor. The food and service here is amazing and very wholesome. If you have a breakfast sweet tooth, this is definitely the place to go to. I had the Hawaiian bread French toast and it was amazing. My son had the ube pancakes and he loved them as well. Location is perfect but if you're not looking for a 2 hour wait, I would try to get there by 6am, when they open. Getting there at 7am would be an hour and a half wait. This would get 5 stars if the wait times were better. This location is pretty small so I understand why the wait times can be long. read more

We got here at 7:05am and the wait was 2 hours. And they open at 7am. There we're people there to put their name down at 6ish am.. Totally not worth the wait. The breakfast meals were not bad but I would say it's not worth waiting 2 hours. Service was kind of bad.. We didn't get any utensils and had to wave someone down for it... then when they did provided us with utensils, we were missing a few more so we had to wave them down again for it.. we had a party of 6. What's so hard about counting 6 sets of utensils? Then you got to get up and pay at the cash register. We will not be coming back. -1 star for long wait -1 star as food weren't all that great, it was a-ok -1 star for service, missing our utensils read more

We had a great breakfast here, we got the French toast and the eggs Benedict with Portuguese sausage. Maybe there could have been a little more fruit on the French toast. Food was ok. A lot of leaves left on strawberries, like they didn't take much time to cut them. Ordered two sides of eggs and only got one. Served never came back to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. Wait was over 1 1/2 hours for a $60 meal for two which honestly wasn't worth it for the service we got and food quality. Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress is a hidden gem that truly lives up to its name. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the wait would be worth it. Nestled right across the street from the picturesque Waikiki Beach, this charming eatery combines mouthwatering food with a warm dose of Hawaiian hospitality. The first thing that strikes you about Eggs 'n Things is the relaxed atmosphere. With a view of the beach just a stone's throw away, you can't help but feel the island's laid-back vibes. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple seeking a romantic breakfast, or a family in need of sustenance after a morning by the waves, this spot caters to all. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Eggs 'n Things takes breakfast and brunch to a whole new level. Their extensive menu offers something for everyone. From classic pancakes and omelets to island-inspired dishes, there's an array of flavors to explore. During my visit, I indulged in their famous macadamia nut pancakes, and they were nothing short of heavenly. Fluffy, golden, and generously adorned with macadamia nuts, these pancakes were a taste of paradise. But what truly sets Eggs 'n Things apart is the quality of their ingredients. Fresh, local produce shines through in every dish, making each bite a delightful experience. The portions are generous, so you're sure to leave with a satisfied appetite. What's even more impressive is their customer service. The staff here genuinely make you feel welcome and valued. Despite the restaurant's popularity, they manage to maintain a friendly and efficient service that adds to the overall dining experience. The waitstaff is attentive, ready with recommendations, and quick to address any special dietary needs. As for the wait, don't be discouraged by the line that might form outside. It's a testament to the restaurant's popularity and the fact that locals and tourists alike recognize it as a go-to spot for a delicious meal. Plus, the scenic view of the beach while you wait makes the time fly by. In summary, Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress is a culinary gem nestled by the beach that's definitely worth the wait. With delectable food, friendly service, and a view that's nothing short of spectacular, it's a must-visit spot for anyone exploring Waikiki. Make sure to bring your appetite, and you'll leave with a belly full of delight and memories of a truly Hawaiian breakfast experience. read more

TLDR: Solid breakfast spot in Waikiki. 10-minute wait at 7am on a weekday. Friendly, attentive service. Fresh ingredients, but some dishes could use more filling. Loco Moco was hearty. Slightly pricey. Overall, a pleasant experience. If you're in Waikiki and craving a solid breakfast, Eggs 'n Things is definitely a place to check out. I swung by around 7 a.m. on a weekday and only had to wait about 10 minutes--pretty reasonable considering the morning rush! The Service One of the highlights of my visit was the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. They were super friendly and attentive, which really added to the overall vibe. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers, and that warmth made our meal even more enjoyable. The Food I went for the Loco Moco, and let me tell you, it was hearty and totally hit the spot--perfect if you're feeling extra hungry. The fresh ingredients really stood out and made the dish shine. My family opted for omelets served with pancakes. While they were tasty, I think the omelets could have used a bit more filling to justify the price. Portion sizes were a bit of a mixed bag: the Loco Moco was more than enough to fill me up, while my family found themselves wishing for a little extra with their omelets, even with the pancakes on the side. The Price Eggs 'n Things is on the pricier side for breakfast, but honestly, the quality of the ingredients, the attentive service, and the cozy atmosphere make it worth it. It's a bit of a splurge, but when you factor in the friendly staff and the overall experience, it feels justified. Final Thoughts If you find yourself in Waikiki and want a satisfying breakfast with a nice touch of Hawaiian hospitality, Eggs 'n Things is a solid pick. Just remember to get there early, expect a short wait, and come hungry. It might be a little on the expensive side, but the enjoyable experience makes it all worthwhile! read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Eggs and Things in Waikiki, and let me tell you, it was egg-cellent! From the moment I called, Giselle was as sweet as maple syrup on pancakes. She even gave me a tip to put my name on Yelp's list before arriving. Talk about cracking the code to a smooth dining experience! The manager, Ryan, was like a breakfast superhero. I swear, I saw him hustling around the restaurant, taking care of tables and making sure everyone was happy. He must have a secret power to spread joy and butter on toast because he truly is an awesome leader. Our server, Keith, deserves a special shoutout for his patience and kindness. I was so indecisive about which French toast I wanted (I mean, who can blame me?), but Keith was there, guiding me through the sweet and savory choices like a breakfast guru. He deserves a medal for dealing with my breakfast-related dilemmas. The best part? Despite the place being super busy with the breakfast rush, we never felt rushed out. The service was on point, and our food came out quicker than you can say "sunny-side up." We ordered the Sweet Bread French Toast with Strawberries. Eggs, Sausage and Fried Rice with side bacon, as well as Waffles with fruits and acai. Let me tell you, our taste buds were doing a happy dance. Overall, Eggs and Things delivered an egg-ceptional experience. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was egg-cellent. It's no wonder this place is so popular! So if you're looking for a cracking good time in Waikiki, Eggs and Things is the place to be. Just make sure to bring your appetite and your sense of humor, because they serve up smiles with every disho. read more

Traveling to Honolulu for business and tried to find a breakfast place close to our hotel in Waikiki that wasn't super pricey and was within walking distance. Found it in Eggs 'n Things! We managed to walk to the line when it was short...we later found out that was because they were about to close down for the afternoon before reopening for dinner...oooops! But apparently we just made the cut-off. It is an odd way to order...order at the stand, go in and pay, then get seated and the food is brought out. I'm sure it's to cut down on the dine & dash crowd. I ordered the combo with bacon and eggs along with a "clover" of pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. Oh my heavens...salty and sweet nirvana. The bacon was crisp, but not burnt, the eggs over medium as requested. Nothing fancy, but well executed. The pancakes were dessert! Good lord if you put syrup on these things, you are braver than I am. 3 pancakes with pineapple inside with a gigantic cone of whipped cream in the middle sprinkled with chopped macadamia nuts. I ALMOST couldn't finish it all, but powered through. A meal like this fills you up for quite a while, and dinner was definitely light and much, much later. Thank you Yelp for leading me through this place. Yes, maybe a bit touristy and diner-esque with efficient service and not the most modern decor, but the food was definitely on point. And with the windows open and the beach right across the street...heaven...just mind the birds that will sometimes fly in from the open windows! read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever! We have eaten here few times as we live in Kauai and hop to Oahu as our daughter goes to college there. We checked in with 3 of us for breakfast. we had just sat down and our daughter who lives there wanted to join last min. I asked the hostess if we could move to a larger table as our daughter was coming - she told us yes, proceeded to clean the table off, moved us over- then the server came back and said that our daughter could not join us, she couldn't sit at the table , she needed to go join the waitlist and wait to be seated. I explained that we asked the hostess and she moved us no problem, so 3 of us at 4 seat table, daughter wasn't allowed to come into the restaurant and sit nor could she order food, but the 3 of us could sit at a 4 person table and eat the chair had to stay empty. It just didn't make any sense, we added 1 to our group, they cleaned the table and moved us then told us No- the manager wouldn't allow it either. They were quite miserable to deal with, rude about it and logistically didn't make any sense. So, don't frequent the Waikiki location - chose another location with friendlier staff or better yet choose another local restaurant all together to give them your business- as ours wasn't appreciated nor did they really care. read more

During our stay in Waikiki, my wife and I decided to kick off our day with a hearty breakfast at Eggs 'n Things, and we're glad we did! While there was a bit of a wait, we highly recommend using Yelp to join the queue and save time. Once we were seated, we dove into the island-inspired menu. I opted for the Signature Rainbow pancakes, which were as delicious as they were photogenic, and my wife enjoyed the satisfying Breakfast Meat n Eggs. To complement our meals, we indulged in refreshing Guava and Pineapple juices that perfectly captured the flavors of Hawaii. The service was decent, and the view from our table added to the overall experience. While the prices were a bit on the higher side, we found that the quality and taste made it worth it for a special vacation treat. If you're in Waikiki, we definitely recommend trying out Eggs 'n Things at least once for a taste of local flavors and a satisfying breakfast experience. Aloha! read more

Tourist trap! I have eaten here many years back, and this breakfast joint was better. Who knows why it changed, but the real surprise comes from the added line charges you are not aware of. There are two. You are being nickeled with a kitchen service, and then you're charged to pay for using a credit card. WTF? A kitchen charge? Pay your employees more, and raise your prices. The tourist will pay. A charge to pay by credit card? Raise your prices if you're that cheap of a business owner. The tourist will pay it. Let's talk about the food. The menu holds many options. Mainly grease dishes or carbs loaded with sugar. The ahi was nice, but this joint's idea of spicy anything is bland nothing. I let the water know, and he tried his best The other member of my party had the loco. Heavy rich that was enjoyed. The coffee is weak, and we didn't want second cup. We loved the idea of this quirky place and ate there twice. The first meal was perfect- great…read moreservice, delicious food, plenty to take home. Recommend the tacos! The second time, the food was also good but here's where our problem came in: our appetizer of chicken wings (delicious! we had them both nights!) was no sooner put down on our small table when out came our entrees. There wasn't really room for all of the dishes and I had to do some creative stacking. Now we had the choice of either eating our hot appetizers (and who wants to eat cold chicken wings?) or letting our entrees get cold while we ate the wings. Speaking to our server about our displeasure really gave us no satisfaction. She basically shrugged that that sometimes happens. We had specifically asked for the wings to come our as our appetizers. She told us that Japanese diners like to share their plates so they are used to bringing everything out at once. I have to say, I understood what she was saying but she did not have any empathy with our frustration at having to eat cold food. So here's my tip: go to Goofy's. The food is really really good. But if you order an appetizer, make it very clear to your server that you want that to come our well before your mains. Also, to Goofy's: a little empathy can go a long way to defuse a perceived slight by a customer.

The food was okay, but unfortunately, the cheeseburger had a peculiar aftertaste that reminded us…read moreof pancakes. When we mentioned it, the waitress explained that because they work in such a small space, there's always a possibility of cross-contamination. That's definitely not something a customer wants to hear when dining out. The decor was nice, although apparently keeping the pigeons out can be a challenge. We may give breakfast a try and see how that compares. For now, though, the original Goofy's was way better.

At the time I went, they only had the fire pit seating so we just went for it. If you're just there for and app and some drinks then it's honestly a very cute spot to sit. It had sand and a shared fire pit with your own side tables. You can over see the lower city view as you chill at the fire with live music, so the vibe is very nice. I was here for dinner and ofc ended ordering a steak of all things so it was a little difficult to cut my steak on the little side tables (honestly my fault) but we still had a nice time. We got a beer and a virgin cocktail which were both yummy. The steak was cook perfectly to medium rare like I asked and it hit my steak craving ~ the staff was nice and checked in us often ~

If you arrive between 4:50 and 5PM, you typically can get a seat outside and enjoy cocktails and appetizers. The music was old school Hawaiian. I tend to prefer something a little bit more modern, but it was nice. I inquired at the check-in if the baby back ribs were beef or pork. I was told they were beef, however I was sorely disappointed when they arrived and they were actually pork because I do not eat pork. The edamame hummus was enjoyable with the chips and veggies on the side. Although, the restaurant offered to let me order something else, the evening was late and I simply moved on with less dinner than what I anticipated having. The sunset was pretty. I was hoping for some views of palm trees in the sunset, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the evening.
