Love love loveeeeeeed this breakfast spot! I got the chicken and waffles with a grilled pineapple--delicious! Coming from the south where chicken and waffles is a staple, this Hawaiian twist with the pineapple was perrfecccct! The breakfast potatoes--soooo good! Our waiter, such a sweet man! He was so patient with our larger party and made sure all of us were satisfied. We sat by the window and got to feel the fresh breeze from the ocean.

We waited over an hour for our table. It was definitely not a place we would come back. I wish they kept the place bit more clean. I barely finished my shared meal due to the heat and smell of the place. The food is definitely delicious and freshly made. My kids loved the pancakes. And my husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Probably the most polite we have came around.

Everyone is nice, things move fast here and it's like a local breakfast spot. I had just pineapple spears bc everything else seemed too heavy to eat. It's very crowded in here but they seem to have a good system in place to control the crowd.

Perfect brunch spot. Friendly service and delicious food :) We usually like to try different restaurants while on vacation, but loved Eggs n Things so much we came here twice. The sides of potatoes are a must!! We got the steak and eggs, mochi waffles, island fried rice, breakfast burrito, and ENT burger. Super convenient location -- the wait time can get long so join the waitlist on Yelp & you can either walk around some of the shops or stay in your hotel while checking your spot in line via the Yelp app.

The food was delicious and big servings. You are right next to beach. You can see the water, and the atmosphere is very nice. The service was very prompt.

Kent was amazing!! So kind and sweet. The food quality was great, with good portions. The view of the ocean creates a nice ambiance with an ocean breeze. This place is good so it can be busy, I recommend putting my your name in through Yelp to mitigate the wait period during peak hours.

I don't often leave negative reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing. After waiting in line for 50 minutes, the service was disappointing. The food was just okay - nothing particularly memorable or worth coming back for. The Fresh Ahi Burger was dry and overcooked, which was especially disappointing. The presentation and attention to detail were lacking. A Bloody Mary served with a rim of regular table salt and vodka simply poured on top of the tomato juice instead of being properly mixed was disappointing, especially for such a popular place. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend this "famous" restaurant to our friends or colleagues. There are many better options in the area.

Avg food but very photogenic & filling, long wait. A giant cockroach crawled onto the waiting area sent guests scattering. Good service & we were lucky to score a table with the beach view. Coffee was strong & solid

Food was actually really good especially being right on the beach. You are paying for that view, there are cheaper breakfast spots but you may not have a beach right there. One boy got Keiki pancakes with chocolate chips, and the other got the Hawaiian pancake sampler. I didn't want anything big so I looked at getting something that would reheat well later. I ended up with the breakfast burrito with Portuguese sausage and it was actually really good!! Service was great.

2d visit: better than the first! Plantation Porkchop and the Ahi breakfast were spot on perfect. Also, 6:10 arrival ensured us a window seat!

Really enjoyed our breakfast here! The host was attentive, and our server was funny and made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, and everything came out in a timely manner. My only tip is to join the waitlist before you go because the line can get pretty long. Definitely worth it though!

Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Coconut syrup

This place reminds me of 51st dates movie, but the food was exceptional. The service was really good. We went there two days in a row. The Moko Loco was bomb, the macadamia nut pancakes with the coconut syrup chefs kiss.

Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress

Do they have gluten-free pancakes or sourdough toast?

    Yes

Are there gluten free items here?

Aloha, Amber! We do have gluten-free (GF) options. We have a lot, but the main ones are the GF Chicken Mango Sausage, the Acai Bowl (GF Granola), the Potatoes, Rice, and Local Beef steak. We hope this helps. We hope to serve you soon :)

Where can I find parking, I don't mind paying for parking?

Check with the hotel next to it. They may have paid parking.

Are you still at 50% capacity and do you still require masks and vax passports? Cuz Yelp info still says you are and do.

When we were there, no masks or vaccine passports were required.

Is there sit down dining available?

Yes there is. We are still at 50% capacity, but we are able to still seat people inside and outside.

Are the pancakes worth delivery? Cold?

If the delivery service can get it to you within the hour it's really good. We don't a lot of control over that. After that, the quality can go down a bit. If you heat it up, use a wet paper towel to cover it and microwave for 30 seconds or so and…

    Can I order to go?

    Yes, you can.

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The Duck Confit was yummy! I thought the duck was going to be super dry, but when you eat it with the jam that came with it, it's very good. I requested for a little bit more of the jam but was given just balsamic glaze... My friend said her scallop risotto was watery and not the same as the last time she went. My bfs prime rib was okay. Bone marrow was okay. The chicken pasta, octopus appetizer, salad, and mac n cheese were lacking flavor and tasted okay. I would recommend dining here if you do not have plans after.

We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor.
