We got there just the right time logged in got seated. Service was amazing. Cannot wait to go back. I had the Loco Moco and couldn't have been happier! As busy as they were, they did not make me feel rushed our coffee cups always stayed full and they were willing to help in anyway we needed, including explaining any questions we may have had about the menu. The view is amazing from the tables. We will go there again next time I'm in Hawaii. read more

A home style-feel restaurant with a beautiful view of Waikiki beach! The staff works very efficient here. We were sat by a window seat with an amazing view. I ordered the fresh ahi & eggs and it was great with the furikake seasoning. I enjoyed my meal with a fresh glass of pineapple juice and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend ordered the waffle with a scoop of açaí and that was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit on top and a coffee to drink. Our food was great, ready fast. read more

We decided to try Eggs 'n Things because it was close to our hotel and it was already getting late. The food was okay, but nothing particularly memorable or worth going out of your way for. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. It took quite a while for our server to greet us, and after taking our order, she rarely checked back on our table. We specifically requested that mushrooms be removed from one of our dishes, but that request was overlooked. It was a simple modification, and it felt like little attention was given to our order. I understand that this location stays busy, especially being right across from the beach, but being busy shouldn't come at the expense of customer service. The restaurant itself also feels outdated and could benefit from some renovations and updates. With its popularity and established reputation, I expected a much better overall experience. Great customer service can make a huge difference, and unfortunately, that was lacking during our visit. read more

Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress - The food was amazing. Highly recommend this breakfast spot. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

It's our first time in this Eggs 'n Things location. We usually frequent the one in Piikoi. I got the kalbi with overeasy eggs, kimchi and regular pancakes for breakfast. The kalbi was a little bit burnt, thin and 3 pcs only. The serving here is definitely smaller than the one in Piikoi. I also got used to the Coconut and Guava syrup in Piikoi but they didn't have it here in this location. The place is usually busy and packed but the staff were nice and friendly. Will I go back here again? Probably not. I also find the price expensive for the quality of food you get. read more

The food and ambiance was excellent. Most of the staff were friendly and nice except our server. He was the older guy, overall seemed short and like he didn't want us there. 30 seconds after sitting down he asks if we know what we want to order and when we said not yet he just turned around like he was annoyed and every interaction after that. He was tipped accordingly at 15%. Don't let my review stop you from coming here it was really good food. read more

Solid brunch with reasonable wait (if you use Yelp Waitlist). I'd consider the waitlist mandatory: we joined remotely around 8:30, and got seated at 10:15. There were 35 parties ahead of us; when we left, there were 40 in line. The views here are amazing if you can get a table with a window, but that seems to be luck of the draw. The food was respectable. I thoroughly enjoyed my Loco Moco with eggs over medium: the patty had a great texture and flavour, the mix-ins were yummy, and the egg was perfectly cooked to my liking. I've only had loco moco a few times, but this was easily the best one I've tried. My partner had the Egg Scramble 'n Things w/ Portuguese sausage & breakfast potatoes. She enjoyed it but didn't find it particularly noteworthy. The cold brew was good. Iced capp was almost as good as back home. Water is available upon request. They have some cute merch for sale at the front. Service was overall decent; our server missed getting our drinks but another staff member noticed & helped us out. This was a worthwhile brunch - just make sure to use Yelp Waitlist! read more

Ordered a mochi waffle w/ nutella and strawberries and i was not disappointed, the dough was really chewy and not too sweet! The side of potatoes were really flavorful as well! We placed this order online and they were able to prepare it quickly, about 20 min :) When we arrived we walked up to the pick up area and the server wasn't too friendly which was the only down side :/ read more

A lot of hype. Just finished eating breakfast here and would not be personally recommending this place to any friend or family. Long wait, rushed service. Food was disappointing. Sorry for the harsh words but worst loco moco I've tried on the whole island. Flavors were boring with the exception of the slight bitterness coming from the edges of the patty as if it was burnt. I'd rather go to other mom and pop breakfast places moving forward. read more

Got on waitlist online and total wait was 1.5 hr. Had a party of 8 and was separated into 4. service was very nice. food was quick, but not very good quality. Quick breakfast spot with friendly wait staff. Add yourself to the waitlist via Yelp as the wait can be long for this busy, Waikiki breakfast spot. Inside is small & reminds me of an older diner, but the menu offers a lot & the service was quick. We ordered omelette, French toast, waffle & egg wrap. Everything was quick & delicious. Also had coffee, orange juice, chocolate milk & pog. read more

Food was great and wait staff very organized. Highly recommend . Would go again next time I am in Honolulu.

There was a bit of a wait to get inside and once inside I have to say it was typical of a small diner without a counter. The staff was terrific. I had the omelette with potatoes, cheese and bacon. My wife ordered the waffles with blueberries and chocolate chips. Both came out together, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Almost too much food to eat, actually for me it was as the pancakes put the mountain of food over the top. At the end, the wait to get inside was well worth it. read more

We figured we needed to try this spot and for the four days we were there there was always a huge line, thankfully I used Yelp's Reservation system to get in line and that made a huge difference. The restaurant is very small but it has a nice location with great views of the beach right across the street. Service is great and the staff are friendly! The food was pretty good; everyone enjoyed their waffles, pancakes and French Toast, the omelette was the only thing that didn't quite hit the spot in terms of flavor and we were limited on ingredients unless we wanted to pay extra-extra. This restaurant is worth a try but I suggest you go with pancakes, waffles and/or French Toast. read more

Wow! Yes there was a line, but c'mon! You can't get any closer to the beach without getting sand in your eggs and pancakes! The service is fast once you get in. Friendly even, considering how incredibly busy it is! And the food is incredible plus add the view and this is the best place for breakfast on the island! I liked the ham and pineapple slice, but the coconut pancakes were the star! read more

I ordered the pork chop and eggs for breakfast mainly from the picture of the slice of freshly cooked pineapple on the menu. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The pork chop was well cooked. The potato's were deep fried but good. Unfortunately the pineapple while good did not live up to the picture. My companion had the eggs Benedict on a local Hawaiian roll. It looked delicious! My partner agreed it was a feast for the tongue as well as the eyes. The eggs Benedict came with 3 good but not spectacular pancakes. Our waitress was wonderful. Funny, entertaining and most importantly kept our drinks refilled without asking. It was wonderful sitting at a booth looking across the street at Waikīkī beach and all the people enjoying the sun, sand and surfing. No AC, none needed, the ocean breeze was wonderful. I would return if in the area again. read more

Tried to eat here two days in a row, and both times the wait time was completely misleading. On the first day, we were told the wait would be around 1 hour. After about 40 minutes, we received a text saying they were "busier than usual," and the wait kept getting longer. We left because it was too hot to keep waiting. On the second day, we were clearly told the wait would be 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes, we received another text saying they were busier than usual and added another 30 minutes. In total, it became more than 1 hour again. It feels like a trap because they do not show the real wait time upfront. Once people have already waited 30-60 minutes, they feel pressured to keep waiting another 20-30 minutes. Very frustrating experience. read more

This place was extremely dirty and felt more like an animal enclosure than a restaurant. I honestly couldn't believe it was open for dining. It's one of the worst places I've ever seen. The food is decent, but I had a group and we arranged for each person to get vouchers for 2 mornings of our stay in Waikiki, it was for 27 people and they had never accommodated a group of this size as they mentioned, it was staggered, so not everyone arrived at the same time as the place is very small. The host that was seating guest is not very nice and even though one of my guests checked I at 10:25, wasn't seated until 11, he was told that the voucher was not good unless you were inside before ll, couldn't very well sit unless he was called, they also charged me full price for a 10 year old. The manager was not very flexible at all so I would say I lost about 180 dollars unnecessarily because of poor customer service. After they got my money it was like screw you now. There are many other breakfast spots to consider, they won't get anymore of my hard earned money. read more

If you want a good & cheap breakfast this is the spot! I personally feel this spot is a little overhyped but it's good for its price. Normally in the morning it is a 1-2hour wait, so join the waitlist beforehand! I got the Kalbi & Egg, Plantation Pork, Island style fried rice, and Garlic shrimp plate. Everything was okay, nothing too phenomenal. But, maybe I am just being picky! Personally, if I didn't join the waitlist beforehand I wouldn't wait 2 hours. read more

Service was good and food was fine. Sausage was burnt, but the eggs were cooked to order and pancakes were delicious. If you want a classic breakfast with options for a Hawaiian twist, you can find it here. Very busy every day, Yelp was great for getting on the waitlist from the hotel.
