I got a bacon scramble and upgraded the white rice to fried. It was a big portion and our server Giselle was very sweet and funny

Good location and good service! Although it opens early in the morning, always a long line of people. Fortunately I was soon be seated since I was just only myself. I had meals here three times in my Hawaii vacation. My coffee was refilled and filled. The eggs are good and my favorite is today's special omelet. The potatoes on side were good. I really love the coconut milk on the table. Usually it should with the pancake or waffle, but I love to have it with my potatoes and toast! So good! read more

Don't recommend this place! I ordered fried rice for breakfast with egg, and the rice did not seem fried and more like steam, no flavor what so ever! My niece ordered wings had no chicken meat, all fat and breading, we were not happy with our breakfast what so ever. read more

The extremely long wait was sufficiently rewarded with hot, huge, delicious portions.

Love love love . The food is amazing. Definitely recommend this spot , always full but wait times are not long.

The food is superb! I had a vegetable omelette with the house potatoes and a pog. Everything was fresh. The only thing is that they do not have AC and they charge $3 for each topping in the omelette. read more

Terrible service, grimy atmosphere. Waitlist system is a joke. Many better places to eat breakfast in town.

Food is great tasty and big portions, with good quality, line is too long but it worse it

One of the servers taught me something that the locals say.. Kanak: Kanak is when you eat too much and fall asleep... and I definitely can say I ate too much!! The food is so delicious and I really enjoyed the banana pancakes with the mountain of whipped cream! It does get really busy super early in the morning but their waitlist system allowed us to get in really quick and their service once we were in was super efficient and fast as well! Overall very nice local breakfast food and some very nice people! Thanks!! read more

It was a great experience. servers were nice and were very well prepared. I didnt have any issues at all. Good ambiance too!

This place is one of the perfect examples of being TOO OVERHYPED. The long lines that lead out the door, daily every morning is one of the factors that makes Eggs 'n Things seem as if you are possibly missing out. I honestly did not get the hype of this restaurant. The process: You wait in the huge big line that always, and i mean ALWAYS occurs every morning, to order your food and then be seated (you possibly will not get seated right away). You pay inside the restaurant before you are seated. I am not sure if it is always the same person everyday at the podium taking order and assigning seats but, she was quiet rude. I understand you have multiple orders to take down with the help of your co-worker, therefore may be stressed but do not take that out on the customers. In general, make sure you come to this restaurant with patience, especially if you're hungry and looking for "good breakfast" to fill that tummy. The food: Straight up, the food was expensive and definitely not worth it. The food was average, which is fine. However, with the price I am paying, I expect to have some good tasting bomb breakfast. Just with a family of four, our total bill was $74.57. We had ordered 4 plates, 1 sides, 2 Hot Chocolate, an OJ and water. Definitely got my hopes high on this one just as most of the other tourists. I would say to go here just to say you've tried it. read more

No longer fan of eggs n things! Do not waste your time nor money. Understand 3 star rating (ought to be 1-2 star). Staff has completely given up & do not care about food quality nor requisite decent service. Upon seating, server asked if we were visiting. Answered, "we live here." His reply of groaning a weak "ohh," I thought very odd. Only worsens ... Friend & I ordered *Salmon Eggs Benedict, *Bacon+eggs plate, *Side order pork chop, *Chocolate waffle. Quite a bit of food for just 2 people. All food arrived at table tepid, not hot. My Salmon Benedict served on top of HAMBURGER Buns uugh!! Where were English muffins? If out, why was I not told & offered alternative? Perhaps bisquits... or I could have ordered different dish if properly informed. Making matters worse, my potatoes were raw, uncooked, hard in texture, & tasted hours old+precooked. I told server issue, asking for fresh potatoes order. 2nd potatoes order just as awful . Due to uncannily long wait, I had to remind them of Chocolate chip waffle (sharing as dessert). Arrived not crispy, as recommended by server. Marginally edible. We even had to physically get up to serve our selves for more ice tea. Apparently if one is not a visiting Japanese tourist, we do not matter as dining guests. Utterly sad. I wrongfully recommended this spot. Utter disappointment in whole dining experience ... ATROCIOUS. ** With manager & server knowledge of my horrible potatoes, no apology whatsoever. We were charged fully for every item of our meal . read more

Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress - Salmon eggs benedict : served on hamburger buns+uncooked, hard, old potatoes. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Great food! Be sure to join the wait-list via Yelp before you visit. Loved the various sweet options and fresh squeezed juice.

This location is on the Waikiki strip. A wait for ONE person - yes, one person at 7:53am was 1 hour and 15 minutes. Can you believe that???! I mean, I guess I sort of can because its location is in the thick of Waikiki. Nonetheless, I waited because had I gone anywhere else, I would have had to wait all over again for somewhere else. I ordered the fresh strawberry and whipped cream pancakes - it was the only good thing I saw on the menu. I also ordered a side of eggs (which they do not season) and bacon (which they burned). I do not understand why this restaurant has a line when the food is subpar? Perhaps it isn't the food that people are in line for? Maybe the line is as long as it is because it's in the heart of Waikiki. However, the Eggs 'n Things on Saratoga road always has a line. My experience at this Eggs 'n Things in Waikiki was dismal. I waited an ENTIRE hour and 15 minutes. I got seated at 9:39, and I kid you not, at 9:52 - just because I stopped eating my food for 2 minutes, the waiter had the audacity to come over with my check!!!! I waited an HOUR, of course I'm going to take my time. How the hell are you going to come over to my table after 13 minutes and hand me the check when I waited an HOUR just to be seated. Horrible service. I would not come back to this location. I wouldn't even step inside another Eggs 'n Things again. The food is subpar; the hype is questionable, and the wait times are always over and hour long. They even said just a table for two (at the Waikiki location) would be 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours long! Ridiculous. read more

One of the better breakfast places I've had in a very long time. Not sure if they are known for pancakes at this place but they are a must have. The syrups are amazing. Maple, coconut and guava syrups. Perfect for people who prefer something not as sweet Final rating: read more

Amazing food! Worth the wait!!!!!!!! I recommend adding yourself to the waitlist on their app so you don't have to wait there for 1.5 hours. We just add it in the morning and then leave when it's closer to our turn read more

Decent Breakfast food but the 1 hr wait was not worth it and we were there at 8am. Service was outstanding which is why I gave it 4 stars. Food was subpar. There are plenty of other breakfast places nearby with no wait that have the same if not better food. We went to Cheeseburger in paradise a block away and had no wait and excellent food. read more

Portions are large! The service was good- our server had a great sense of humor and it's family friendly. Put your name on the waitlist and go shopping read more

Polite staff good food. They do get a lot of traffic through there but the move pretty fast.

There are great local franchises that are more or less of a, for the lack of better example, modified Denny's. Don't be fooled, Hawaii has many of these types of restaurants which cater to the visitor and familiar enough to the locals. Eggs 'N Things is one of these restaurants that offer ambrosial local food for a reasonable price. The menu covers hybrids of "good-ole-fashion" American breakfast dishes as well as locally crafted dishes such as The Loco Moco. -You order at the welcome hostess table before entering the building. After you pay at the entrance counter you then get seated. -After paying, you'll be seated at the table with a number, only which will be removed upon delivery of all orders. -It can get crowded during peak hours like sunset and early morning. Don't let the long line scare you away, the food is worth the wait and the price! Hours: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm／4:00 pm - 10:00 pm read more

I'm a little confused why the ratings are so low for this place. Food was great, customer service was outstanding. My only complaint would be the random birds that fly in but hey that can be fixed. My food was so fresh and delightful I enjoyed it read more

Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress - Sausage omelette with light cheese and sausage ONLY if you don't pay more - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I'm totally stuffed after eating here! If you're in the mood for some breakfast and are hungry look no further. I usually pride myself on eating the whole dish. I ordered the Portuguese sausage and it came with pancakes. The side pancakes are like a meal on their own. Show your Hawaii ID and you can get a discount. You can park across the street at the Hale Koa/Fort Derussey parking lot and walk from there. They don't have their own parking lot, but if you eat there it's also a 5 minute walk from there to the beach. And their omelettes are real deal Holyfield. read more

Small place but really nice. Great view of the beach for a good breakfast. And the people are nice and courteous.

Good food. It was great to join the waitlist and skip the ling line. Eggs Benedict with Portuguese sausage was the best thing we ordered. Don't get the Portuguese pancakes. read more

Food was amazing. Service...amazing. They were very accommodating and attentive. Def worth the wait. They help each other with their customers so we don't have to wait for more drinks. They view of the beach from the window was also amazing. Perfect location!! read more

The food is underpriced for the quality. There is a 1.5-2 hour wait in the morning but it is WELL worth it! Check in online prior and then come in at the estimated time to avoid waiting. It's SOOOOO GOOD!!!! They should consider raising prices as people will still pay for it read more

Service could be better. The food was phenomenal though! I've been dreaming of the Mochi waffle since we left the island!

Aloha !!!! Second time visiting this place and never disappoints. We got the macadamia nut pancakes, super big serving so we shared between two of us. They give two options between guava and coconut syrup, DEFINITELY choose the coconut and thank me later !!! Also note that there is most likely always a line. You place your order and then pay and wait to be seated. This is for a breakfast stop every visit to the island. read more

If you like breakfast this is a great spot. Get there early or expect to wait an hour or so to be seated. The place is very small but the service and food are excellent. One annoyance is the amount of flies circling the food. All of the windows are open so the elements do get in. If you're not bothered by that then this is your spot. The pancakes are light and fluffy. The eggs were perfect and the meat is good and perfect portions. read more

Mochi waffle was awesome, we asked for extra whipped cream on the side :) be prepared for a long wait

Had heard about this joint as one of the "must try" places in Waikiki. They open at 6, so got there around that time. Limited seating already full. That's a good sign! Pro staff courteous took care of all the COVID checks no fuss and quickly, over-estimated wait and we were quickly seated. We'd seen the menu beforehand and had an idea of what we wanted to try. Mine, a spinach, bacon, and cheese omelet was good. Grilled potatoes on the side decent. Nothing spectacular nor was the salsa. Didn't ask if they offer any other hot sauce options than the tabasco on the table. The other half's potato, bacon, and cheese omelet was potato heavy, not enough of the pig-nitrate-god-salt. Coffee decent enough. Service staff fast and efficient. They were spectacular to watch cycling the tables for next customers, so they clearly take the current situation seriously so I'd never have a problem returning. They were also all super friendly. So, great service and staff, decent food, and good value, then why three stars? It just wasn't particularly mind-blowing to use a number of impressively spectacular superlatives on. Would I recommend it, absolutely. Nothing about the experience was poor and I'll return next time. But is it hype worthy, IMO no. Try it yourself, since tastes defo vary. read more

Food is great.. service is excellent and very nice ambiance, I really recommend this place!

Everything here is delicious- even the simple stuff. The Loco Moco is probably my favorite though- amazing flavors! They usually have a wait so go put your name on the list at least an hour before you want to eat. Well worth the wait! read more
