Try the Loco Moco!!!! It's sooooo good!!! Long wait but worth it. Use yelp to get on the waitlist.

Okay, so let's be very clear. The wait is the most challenging thing about this place. The food is fast, and the service was phenomenal. Signed up for the wait list via Yelp and was given a time to come check in. Checked in 5 mins before my allotted time and was sat 10 minutes later. Macadamia nut pancakes and syrup? Fantastic. As long as you follow the steps you'll get in no problem and be grubbing in no time. read more

The food was great. I just 1 star any place that has hidden fees. If you want to give 3% to the service that's great. Just include it in the menu price. Don't be tricking us. read more

This place is perfect. Right on the beach and fantastic food. It is exactly what we're looking for if you're staying in Waikiki any breakfast. read more

I visited the Ala Moana store on July 25th. When checking out I added a tip, on 26 July My card was billed $37.69 which was correct. On 27 July I was billed a second time for $31.94. I only visited the location once. I called the store and used the prompt to speak to a manager which doesn't work. When I was able to speak to a worker I was told this would be sent to the regional manager who would have to correct the error. Obviously this didn't happen because I never received a phone call like I was told would happen. I'm very disappointed in the service for such a respected organization read more

Food is delicious. We came on a Saturday line was long but was worth the wait. The best breakfast we had when we were in Honolulu!

Our first place we picked to start the second day on the island earlier in the week. There was a line outside of restaurant which usually is a good sign to us that place is good. It's a weird concept, while waiting in line you can review menu and to figure out what you want. When you get to the top of stairs, someone will take your order and you can view the specials of the day which I totally missed! I felt rushed to pick something out but ended up picking the spinach, bacon and cheese omelette upgraded to their signature macadamia nut pancakes. You place order and pay for it then wait to be assigned to a table with the number given to you. We were with a party of nine so we split our party into two so we could get seated quickly. Place is small so the wait took a short while. We got our tables and the food is delivered to you. The food was generously portioned and everyone enjoyed their food. I enjoyed my omelette but the star of the show were my macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. I split it with my mini me and she usually doesn't care for nuts but she told me that she liked the pancakes too. I was so full and glad I shared the pancakes with her. I would come back and try out more dishes too. read more

We went here 6:30am in the morning, and there was already a line. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. We ordered Macadamia Pancakes, Hawaiian Loco Moco and pork chop. Very tasty. Definitely come again. read more

Great food! Long wait but it was worth waiting for. We will definitely be back next time we are in Waikiki.

Good food good Service Second time here love it had coffee eggs and rice delicious deafly would recommend good spot. .....

The breakfast here is ok for me and I don't think there is something special about it. When you see the long line on the morning and the reviews you think you will get something different but noooo at all. The place is over rated in my opinion and there are better options in that area. read more

The best time to go to Eggs n'Things is about 7 am. I had about a 10-15 minute wait before getting a table. The other alternative is to reserve but was not possible for me as I was only in Honolulu a week. I was very impressed by the reasonable prices and the quality of the food. I had Hawaaian French toast with strawberries and sweet cream. Not ideal for a diabetic but it looked delicious and I didn't want bacon and eggs. The cost was $14 plus taxes and tip. The staff are very friendly. This company is a prime example of a Hawaiian company that is succeeding by delivering value to customers and making a reputation worldwide. If you just show up, the reservation system works with Yelp and is straightforward. read more

Use the Yelp app to check in!! The wait list is long. The food was flavorful and the portions were just right. Island ingredients and food combinations that will make you homesick for this place when you get back to the mainland. The waffles were thick and fluffy. The hotcakes were light and fluffy too. You'll regret not getting these even as a side dish. read more

See former review outstanding place for breakfast. So busy there could be a long wait. We'll worth it. Play on your phone. Lol

My mom, niece , and I loved it! The food was delicious! I was glad the had a non dairy creamer for my mom. She ordered the French toast that was one of the best French toast I have tried and it was my first time having loco moco and it was delicious and filling. My niece ate all her food and said her strawberry pancakes were ono! Very nice servers that were helpful and kind. The wait was long and the place is small so don't go in a rush or order to go and find a spot outside to eat. read more

Don't wait in line to order! Order online! It's the best and easiest way to get their amazing banana pancakes!

I really had high hopes for this place. We went here on a recommendation from a friend who had eaten at a different location. The line out the door only added to the hype of this place. When we finally got to the top of the steps we were greeted by a hostess who seemed like she'd rather not be there.. anyways, we placed our order.. I had the ribeye steak and eggs and requested medium with over easy eggs. I also requested their "signature rub" on the meat thinking it was going to be really good. Wife and son both ordered the Spam with minced meat and my 2 other boys shared a kids pancakes and eggs platter. Our beverages consisted of 2 pineapple juice, an orange juice, hot tea and 1 coke. Total for the meal came out to just over $80 which included the tip. I wasn't expecting to pay before the meal but I guess that's how they run things.. The food we received was, not good. Let's just say Denny's has them beat. My ribeye steak was well over done and had absolutely no flavor. The over easy eggs were again over done to the point the yellows were solid. The potatoes that came with the meal looked and tasted like they were previously frozen. The Spam with minced meat came with a salsa that was either bad or really bad tasting. My son made the mistake of pouring the salsa over the spam took one bite and immediately lost his appetite. His eyes were watering and said he needed to use the restroom right away. Maybe salsa isn't his thing? I don't know.. The juices are WAY overpriced at $5 each. I think the only good thing that came out of this review is that the coke was cold. I could add a lot more to this review but I'd rather enjoy my time here in Hawaii than to continue on... In a nutshell, find somewhere else to eat than this location. Otherwise you'll be saying you should have gone to McDonalds next door. read more

Join the waitlist early, can be 2 hours! Food was surprisingly good, sort of a rushed dining experience but service was friendly regardless

Above average tasting food, good assortment of options, and decent sized portions for the price. We've been a couple of times and the service varies from good to great. Overall good place to eat, especially because of the view of the ocean. read more

Not worth the wait, I ordered "Meat & Eggs" with a side of pancakes but PAID $6 to upgrade to the Fresh Strawberry Whipped Cream pancakes and definitely didn't get that. Food was mediocre, it just tasted like normal eggs and normal buttermilk pancakes. Not worth hype or the wait time. You're better off paying $4.99 for the Denny's Grand Slam down the street. Ridiculous. read more

Don't waste your time. We were given a wait time of 2 hours and we came back after 11/2 hours and we were told that they could only seat us at the counter and it would be another 1 hour wait. Mediocre at best....I wasted time on my vacation with this hole in the wall restaurant. Not worth it!! read more

Horrible service, poor management and bad experience overall. The only saving grace is the food was decent.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Make sure you use the APP to book your place in line as it is busy every morning

Thought this was the place to have a great breakfast because of long line to get in. Waited approximately 45 minutes today. The restaurant is small!!! Bill in 1974 I think - that explains the worn out furniture, etc. Maybe that's why the long line because in my opinion it isn't the food. I was 100% disappointed. Eggs were not cooked-sent them back-broke the yoke and gave me the most unappealing eggs I've ever had. Bacon cold. Pancakes cold. ‍ I was actually waiting for someone standing in the long line to ask how the food was. I wanted to say don't waste your time-not worth it. But no one asked. read more

2nd time going, everything was great! I look forward to the next time, also price is reasonable.

Food is ok, nothing special. What is remarkable is the service (lack of thereof) - one of the worst I've seen. Anticipate 1.5 hrs wait time. If you don't show up w/in 5 min of them sending you a message, expect to loose you place in line. Sign up list to get on waitlist is not posted conspicuously which confuses people and when folks are trying to ask questions they are being sternly told to remain outside. Do not go here! read more

Great service!! The food was delicious. We loved it and will be back on our next trip!

This is the best breakfast I'm Hawaii. I am going back before we go home. The pancakes are fluffy and have. Great flavor.

Came here during our visit to Hawaii. Great food and fast service. Definitely get the coffee it is sooooooo good. Only critique is the spam could have been crisper in my omelette read more

The waitlist is easily over an hour, and when it was finally our turn to be "1st in line" we got bumped down the list for people who were "late" for their reservations. Even though they say that they will not hold your place in line if you are late. Then I was given a half-assed apology from a host that obviously didn't care. I'll never be back. read more

I don't get all the hype about this place. The line was every long and you order and pay before you are sat. We had to tip before being served and then all the did was bring us a water and the food... the menu isn't accustomed to being modified at all. My husband wanted to substitute onions for cheese and they couldn't do it as a sub but had to charge $2.50. THATS RIDICULOUS! I added bananas to my pancakes and it was $3.00 for 8 slices... what the heck. It's a beautiful view and good location on the strip but I won't be coming here again. read more

Online the WAIKIKI LOCATION says it opens at 6, but that is FALSE. they only take walk in orders at 6. Phone orders at 7. I had the steak and eggs. The ribeye is good, but damn it was chewy as fuck. Couldn't even cut the damn thing with their sorry excuse for plastic silverware. And a quarter of the steak was fat. Seriously? That's gross. I couldn't even finish chewing the last quarter of the steak and threw it away. After a while, constantly chewing something and having it not break down makes me gag. I spit it into the garbage. 3 stars because my fiance seemed to enjoy her dish. read more

I really enjoyed this place me and hubby walked every morning at 6am to get a piece of Hawaii. The pancakes was amazing which I normally never get but couldn't resist all that whipped cream. I also enjoyed the spam plate the most I ever paid for spam but still enjoyed. Atmosphere was really cool it's like eating outside but really inside. Can't wait to go back read more
