I don't usually do reviews but this place has been the best breakfast spot I have been to in the three visit to Oahu in the past 1.5 years. My usual stay is approximately 1 month for each visit and go to a different breakfast spot each morning we go out on a hunt for the best breakfast. However, I believe my search is at an end. The servers are so wonderfully polite and the food is juicy and full of flavor. Which is why my photo is partially eaten food, I couldn't resist, sorry. read more

AMAZING!! i came during the breakfast rush so there was a little bit of a wait but the line moves pretty quick and it's so worth it. everyone there was very friendly and made the experience so much better. i highly recommend. read more

Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Fast service, best economical spot open at 0600 in Waikiki. Food is good, friendly people. Small problem w one meal and manager fixed it happily. We are here for three days only, are here every morning! read more

The French toast special was amazing. Everywhere I go I try to find the best French Toast. You wouldn't think French Toast would be an easy thing to mess up but I have had some that are terrible. This was amazing. It was black cherry, macadamia nut with whip cream and coconut syrup. Heart attack on a plate delicious!!! The wait wasn't too long but it would be nice if there was outdoor seating so the wait could be shortened as there are very few tables inside. read more

Very disappointed with this place. I made reservations at 10:23am, it said that 11:14am. Then get a message saying busier than expected so they would seat us between 11:26-11:41am. After getting there and checking in the host said it would be a few mins, and that there was 5 people ahead of us. I said ok and then he offers me 2 seats at the bar like seating and I said no, I don't want that( but he gave me the option to decline) those seats. So after waiting another 20 mins I asked him why he was seating all of these other people that got here after we had already checked in. He should have gave us the next available table but he did not. The host needs to do a better job at seating, that's where the problem is. read more

The location is fantastic, we sat by the window that overlook the beach. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

Ate here while in Waikiki. Simply incredible food and service. It's going to be a wait, but worth every minute! This was one of my favorite breakfasts in Hawaii! read more

My boyfriend and I had this delivered to our room on our first morning in Honolulu as we were so exhausted from the long flight. It was delicious!!! We shared a breakfast burrito and macadamia pancakes with fresh fruit. Also ordered fresh juice. All of it was amazing. read more

Great food, great service, it pays to get in line on Yelp, but do it EARLY. Before 7am early. The island fried rice is amazing. The eggs are super fresh and the people are super nice. Check em out. . . EARLY. . . and you will not be disappointed. read more

It is an older place in a landmark hotel but the service is great and the food is very good. Some interesting characters work there so you will be entertained and spoiled! read more

This place is so popular that the waitlist takes around 1.5-2hrs before you're seated but it's soooo worth it! We got the kalua pork eggs benedict, pineapple mochi waffle, and loco moco! So delicious and worth the wait! read more

This place is the absolute best place in all of Hawaii for Breakfast. The staff is amazing! This was the friendliest service I received out of all the restaurants in Waikiki. In addition the atmosphere is totally Hawaiin. Super laid back and cozy! Make sure you get the Portuguese sausage! It is AMAZING!!! Thank you so much Egg n Things! I love you!!!!! read more

Small breakfast spot with a nice view of the beach. Very busy even on a weekday so I recommend adding yourself to the wait list to save time, definitely worth the wait! Had the seared ahi with furikake and eggs and potatoes, super good, wife enjoyed the eggs Benedict with potatoes and our 2 year old loved the scrambled eggs and bacon. Staff was nice and food came out super quick, great morning pit stop before a day of adventuring. read more

Delicious! What a great restaurant recommended by a local. Everything tasted good. The variety of the menu was large, portions were HUGE, and the wait staff was friendly. I would give five stars if the service was a little quicker, and if they hadn't forgotten my daughters pancakes which were mistakenly served to the adjacent table, it took asking three different servers about my daughters food before someone went to work on it. By the time she received her food, we were done eating. read more

Bryson at Eggs n things was the nicest. Told us what to order. But be careful if you eat the Loco Moco cause you be back! read more

There is always a long wait and the food is very mediocre. (This is true of nearly every place in Waikiki) The breakfast potatoes were inedible and the coffee was about the absolute worst I've ever had. read more

Excellent food and excellent service. Definitely get on the waitlist as soon as you can

Well this place was recommended by local friend it sure made not want to ever eat around here, place wasn't clean and the guys at the door play games with you on how long they will keep you waiting, I heard them joking about it in the back, the pubic hairs's in the food was not good. that Omelettes, well that to not a omelette just bake egg in round pan's. Good thing nothing else is open for breakfast round. I contacted the health department, they need inspection before making someone really sick. Check out the Duke's, Ala Moana Surfrider, Kona Coffee, Mc Donalds would be better. read more

We used the waitlist feature from our hotel which was so helpful. Arrived at seating time and only waited 20 minutes and had such a tasty breakfast. Our server was friendly and helpful and a team approach to keep us refilled on drinks. Wonderful breakfast with ocean view. Would return for sure read more

The wait was long because of the seating area being VERY SMALL! However, the food was excellent and the staff was friendly On the downside, there is only one bench seat available to sit while you wait. They should have a bigger sitting area. I would still give them a 10! read more

I love this place. Ordered crab cake eggs Benedict. It comes with 3 full size pancakes. Ask for the coconut syrup. I got right in as a small party but it's worth the wait. Everything I e ever ordered has been delish. read more

Small and always packed, but worth it. Staff is still friendly even though they are slammed from the moment they open. Recommend joining the waitlist before heading over. Was lucky to be seated on the counter side at pretty much opening. Space is very limited. Pricing to portion sizes is pretty good. Takeout is also an option if you don't have the time to wait. read more

Foo came really fast and was soooooo good! But if u are a walking it's going to be over an hour wait, so I recommend to do what I did, put your name in the wait list before. read more

Food is yummy authentic tropic breakfast. Huge line though and I have to say the food we had at our rooftop with views of the ocean at our hotel was probably just as good. read more

Best breakfast we had. The Moro loco and it was outstanding. Big portions and great flavor.

Food tasted great and the location was very convenient. The line can get long but we put our name on the list early with the online system so we only had to wait 10 mins by the time we showed up. read more

Not sure why such terrible reviews but my husband and i ioved their sweet bread French toast and the Loco moco with fried rice. Great view overlooking the ocean. Make sure to go on the yelp wait list before getting there. We went back for 2nd time but didn't enjoy the omelets. read more

Good food and fast service, check in online so you don't have to wait. Serving size are nice size so bring your appetite.

Wife and I went there this morning, Tues 9/19. I read the 1 star reviews but did not experience anything they mentioned. This was 5 stars all the way! The food was great (zucchini, mushrooms & ham omelette) was excellent. The service was spot on. It's a small quaint place so the wait could be long. We waited 20-22 minutes- totally worth it though. Be sure to register online for the waitlist. Excellent host who was on the ball and very communicative with the wait list folks. Good coffee! read more

Their food is always amazing. This is my first time coming here to this location since I've always visited the Saratoga location down the road. Upon arriving to this location, there was a line, but the line moved rather quick. We waited for only 20 minutes but luckily we were in the shade and not under the hot sun. It's always busy and packed, but the food is very good whenever you want breakfast. The nice man outside who was taking our order was very nice and sweet and always recommends other food items on the menu! He was very very helpful as well! Our food came out quick and very delicious. I always get their fried rice and corn beef hash. My hubby like to try different omelets whenever we visit and of course, need to get their pancakes. I'm too afraid to try their pancakes, but I always love their buttermilk pancakes. Their view, if you're by the window, is amazing and overlooking Kalakaua and the beach! They have a lot of items on the menu and it's hard not too choose just one. Very delicious food. Ask for Kama'aina discount too if you have a Hawaii driver's license! Will definitely be back for more! :) read more

Okay just so you are aware. Before getting in line, grab a menu because once you reach the host, he will take your order. You then go the cashier to pay and then go in a line to be seated. Customer service was awesome!!! It was worth waiting for too. My husband ordered the hawaiian loco moco and I got the island portuguese sausage with eggs and pineapple pancakes with whip cream and macadamia nuts. Our food was just like a homemade meal. My pancakes were fluffy and made with fresh pineapple. My husband said his meat was like a double cheesburger. We both left with empty plates and we were still able to go to the beach and swim. I definitely recommend this spot. It is also beachfront. read more

Very good we ate there 2 times pork chop with pineapple glaze was good. Also service was good but go early it get crowded

One of the best things about this place is that they open so early for those still on CST or EST. You will not find much before 6:00AM, and this place is poppin' come 6:30AM-7:00AM. There is never not a line, they seat pretty quickly and have efficient service. My parents ate here 3x in the one week we stayed. The food overall was good and had some fun Hawaii inclusions to a traditional breakfast food item. read more
