Long wait but worth it. The food was fantastic and good atmosphere., staff was friendly too.

Incredibly rude staff. I was staying at the adjoining hotel and specially got up early to join their interminable waiting list. I was greeted by a sign that said waiting list was closed and it was only 7am! Later I saw people signing up for the waitlist and asked what's up. Turns out the waiting list wasn't closed-they just turned the sign around so that only hotel guests would get this wrong message. When I pointed this out the staff (including the manager!) they said it was ok that the sign the hotel guests read was wrong because 90% of the diners approached the other way-from the street. He asked if he should "erase the sign" every day. No throw a towel over it or something. I complained to the hotel so maybe they'll fix it. Service is slow and food is ok. Cheeseburgers in Paradise has a much nicer, cleaner, friendlier set up just a block away. And great breakfasts! read more

Food was fresh and had plenty of flavor. I didn't like the coffee, it tasted weird. The orange juice was great. I had the eggs with bacon and pancakes. Loved the pancakes, it was one of the best I had in Honolulu. read more

Wow local friend told me to come. Even though a giant wait. The people and food are amazing, it has a great view of the beach. I got the loco moco and I highly recommend. read more

Best breakfast in Waikiki! The cutest little place with a fantastic view! Use this app to reserve a table! Its so convenient!

The wait time was a bit crazy but all in all the food was really good. Make sure to get that POG juice.

Delicious breakfast food. The service is very efficient. It sits across the street from the beach so it is has a beach vibe. There was a significant wait so I advise you to get on the waitlist early. read more

We use to Love this place, quality and quality of food use to be top notch, we have been there for the exact same meal 4 of the 6 days of this trip, inconsistently- the day I took the picture, Awesome- the next, hardly any sauce, and told we would be charged for more. I keep all my Receipts and we've always tipped more than 20%. Just seems like they may be skipping on some things. Prices have gone up a couple bucks in last 6 months. read more

Soggiest slimiest crepes I have ever had, 3 bites and couldn't finish them. Wasted my money here!

I'd say I give it between a 3-4 stars. The food was good, don't get me wrong, but there were a few things I wasn't crazy about. We were told the wait was 40 minutes, we waited about an hour to get sat at the counter overlooking a parking lot. I'm a big coffee fan and this coffee kinda sucked, and there was only the one option (either hot or iced). I typically like when breakfast places have a few coffee options. I ordered the pineapple pancakes, which were pretty good - definitely light and fluffy, but you could tell it was canned pineapple on top and I would've expected fresh fruit for such a popular spot (and the price). They weren't much different than your typical pancakes you can get anywhere. My husband got the Loco Moco, which was pretty good. I would suggest that instead. The food came out pretty fast but we waited a while to get out check. Overall the food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I wouldn't wait that long again to eat there. If you're on vacation (like us), I'd suggest trying a different hotspot for breakfast. read more

Totally worth the wait! Best Benedict ever. Don't accept bar/counter. No view there. No AC, but the fans cool the tables away from the back wall. Definitely join the waitlist on Yelp! And expect to wait another 10 min. after you arrive. Then stay close because they do a verbal call and quickly call the next person. read more

Good food. Ate here twice and they got orders wrong. First breakfast experience: *Eggs benedict was good, just like how it should taste. *Portuguese sausage and eggs are so tasty! Definitely something to order when you want a savory breakfast. *Macadamia nut waffle was good and the portion was generous. Side pancakes- good. *They got our drinks order wrong though. We ordered a tropical blend (iced tea with pineapple) but they charged and served us a pineapple juice and iced tea separately. Second breakfast experience: *Spinach, bacon, and cheese omelette was okay. Nothing special. I suggest don't order this. *Strawberry pancakes with whipped cream - really good! BUT we ordered chocolate chip waffles with extra strawberries... I actually clarified with the counter guy if he punched in waffles because the screen says "pancakes", and he said it was waffles. Turned out, the screen was right. *I ordered the POG drink and it tasted like pineapple, orange, and guava altogether. Good! Tips: Come before they open. Line gets quite long fast! Read the menu as soon as you arrive because you don't wanna keep everyone in line waiting. Double check your orders before you pay because you pay for your meal before you eat. read more

Always very busy, but our family always thinks it is worth the wait. My kiddo was perfectly okay with the 45 minute wait this morning.

Very good service. Reasonable prices. Good food and ample portions. Would recommend for a good breakfast. Only open until 1 PM.

So I was really disappointed this place came recommended.... WORST SERVICE EVER... DONT ORDER EGGS BENEDICT ! They don't know how to properly poach and egg... my husband ask to charge his phone (local told us we could and he charges there all the time) they were being real jerks about it... They just want you in and out real fast NOT INSTA WORTHY the pictures of the food online is not the food you get.. TOTAL tourist trap. Not a good vibe read more

This breakfast restaurant has a long wait time everyday which is a good thing! Waited for an hour on a Wednesday morning. The food is delicious! The view is amazing! And the staffs were super friendly. Definitely worth the wait. read more

With a line out the door, down the stairs, and around the corner, you expect something truly special. While everything was good, I'm not sure it qualified as special - except maybe the view. Sitting just across the street from Kuhio Beach, this is a great spot to take in the view and people watch - which we had plenty of time to do while waiting. It took us almost an hour to get to the top of the stairs, where the ordering system is somewhat unorthodox - they take your order before you enter the restaurant, then you go in and pay for your meal at the register, after which you're assigned a seat. I'm personally not crazy about this system, as I don't like to tip until after I've experienced the food and service. So instead I tipped in cash and left it on the table after the meal - but had I been short on cash, this would have been difficult. We got a booth right at the window, which again, is the highlight of this basic breakfast/brunch location. The service was adequate, and the food came quickly, though if you wanted to add an extra drink or side, I'm not sure how you would do it - with there being a long line to place orders. The food itself is quite good, albeit fairly standard breakfast fare with Hawaiian influence. I had the minced meat (Portuguese sausage) and eggs with a side of fried rice and a fresh POG to drink (pineapple, orange & guava juices), my wife had the smoked salmon eggs benedict with a side of home fried potatoes, and her cousin had the banana crepes. Everything was quite good and prepared perfectly, except the potatoes were a little over cooked. The fried rice had bits of fishcake in it, which I really liked. I would definitely recommend this place if the line isn't too long when you go, but other than the great view, it's mostly standard breakfast/brunch food that you should be able to find at most diners. I suspect the reason for the popularity of Eggs 'N Things is the lack of competition for quality breakfast spots in the area. read more

Service is not fast. People act serve and cook like there at home. Waited 45 insanely minutes why I don't know.

The Eggs & Corn Beef Hash was really well executed. Crunchy on the outside and seasoned almost like pastrami. Really enjoyed it. Also tried the Eggs & Portuguese Sausage -- eggs were perfectly scrambled and sausage lightly browned. The CBH cane with deep fried potatoes and Portuguese sausage came with rice. Got it TO - GO. Great service and host was super cool. Paid at cashier and bypassed the 30 minute wait. MahaloZ!! read more

Seating was fast! Although the estimated wait time stated one time. I walked away and the app said "come back!" Lol and the minute I walked up the stairs name was called. we waited quite a long time in line, because this place is so highly rated. When it came time for my guests, and myself to be seated, one of our people in our party was not immediately available, so they canceled our reservation and moved on and refilled up the entire restaurant before we were able to get back into the restaurant to enjoy the wonderful food. Food was wonderful. Glad we got to experience it. Love the Portuguese sausage. read more

Service: Excellent. Everything else: poor. I ordered the custom veggie omelette to-go, and had even checked in with the manager beforehand, who verified the potatoes were also vegetarian and completely meat-free. Sadly while eating, I found two pieces of ham under my food. This was shocking because it was pork, an item I religiously do not eat. I immediately called the manager and he was very polite about it and refunded our order immediately. The front desk staff was also very apologetic and kind about the issue. I would've given just 1 star for the cross-contamination issue (which is serious to me), but gave 2 stars simply because the manager and front desk staff were honestly wonderful. They handled the complaint with great customer service and I thank them for that. Kind people. Although, I will not be eating here next time. Not suitable for vegetarians or those with strict dietary restrictions. read more

Unprofessional and rude staff. We were told the wait was 30 minutes; 30 minutes later it was another 15 minutes and so on. I sympathize with all COVID affected businesses. However, please be mindful of your prospective customer's time. We waited for over an hour; and left in disgust. Our friends had a hungry baby with them but still waited Disgusting people. I don't care how good their food is. Avoid ! read more

The service is super friendly and quick. I had a wonderful experience at Eggs'n Things. I spent a few days in Waikiki, and we went there 3 times for breakfast. My family enjoyed the food and service. I think I've forgotten how many times we've dined at Eggs 'n Things over the years. From the moment we first tried their pancakes topped with a mountain of whipped cream, we've been hooked. That being said, we like trying new restaurants so we haven't been making a point to revisit on each trip to Hawaii (although we did visit an Eggs 'n Things when we went to Japan last year). The Eggs 'n Things Waikiki Beach Eggspress was conveniently located next to our hotel so it was a sure bet that we were going to come here at some point. As it's right across the street from the beach, this location gets super busy but they have their operation running like a well-oiled machine. It starts at the lineup (and be assured that there will be some kind of lineup... especially during the peak dining hours). Customers pour over the menu while waiting in line and then place their order at the top of the stairs. Afterwards, you head to the next counter to pay and wait for your table. When you're finally seated, your meal arrives soon afterwards. Perhaps not ideal for those patrons who like to take their time humming and hawing over the menu at the table (but if you're looking for less of a rush, head over to their flagship location on Saratoga) On this visit, we picked the Eggs Benedict Florentine with Home Fries as well as the Plantation Pork Chops with Scrambled Eggs and Blueberry Pancakes. Our meal, along with guava juice, came to just over $40 and we had a nice view of the large banyan tree on Kalakaua Ave and the surf crashing onto the beach. read more

I saw all the good reviews and it was downstairs from our hotel. The lines were really long for dine in, so my friend and I decided to order to go, and eat in our room. The food was delicious! I recommend the pancakes. I tried the pineapple pancakes with coconut syrup. They were to die for. So were the eggs with cheese, the bacon, and the yummy fried rice! Don't mind the price, it's well worth it. We also got 10% off of our meals here for staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, but some of the people waiting grew impatient. You should probably call and see if you can reserve or do a pick up order to eat at your hotel. read more

The food was a 4.... Great service. Food came out very fast so you now it's under heat lamps. I really liked the location. The front hostess was very friendly as well. The reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it's filthy. If I was alone I would have left. It was a turn off to see it so dirty then hope my food was prepared in a clean area. All the walls had dirt buildup. They had food all over it. The QR scan card never has been wiped down. We went when it first opened at 6am so I know it wasn't just today. This place would be a five star if it was clean. I'm hoping they do clean up because it's a very nice little restaurant. read more

What a great surprise. Been looking to find a macadamia nut pancake that came close to an old spot on Maui and in years nothing has come close until today. DELICIOUS! I was so torn to get my old Standby eggs Benedict and the person next to me got it and said it was one of the best. So we we will definitely go back for that tomorrow. Pancakes were fluffy and loaded with macadamia nuts in and out. Coconut syrup to top it off! Fresh squeeze juices. Great varied breakfast options if you are a breakfast person which I am. Huge portions so don't be afraid to split and switch to try a few things! Really a good find and perfectly casual ambiance. read more

It is always busy at the restaurant and service is horrible . The older male waiter was very rude. Tip: if you're ordering to-go you don't have to stand in line. Just go to the front and order (: This was my last meal in Honolulu and it definitely did not disappoint!
