I have been here three times already and enjoy their sandwiches a lot I am very hard to please when it comes to a breakfast sandwich honestly and the amount of eggs doesn't bother me! The cheese and bread is where it's at. I DoorDash it for work but I think there's two locations. I mainly go to the one that's Barton springs though. Each and everytime it hits :p

Service is fast, but I almost walked away with a medium sauce sandwich that was ordered as sweet and tangy sauce (I ordered a total of 4 sandwiches all bodega but slightly different). I'm glad I checked before I left. Turns out the medium sauce is less spicy than Taco Bell mild sauce and lighter in spices. However, I was really craving an egg sandwich and this really hit the spot. The bread and egg is soft,bacon was crisp but still has bite, hash brown still has a slight crisp even though it's in between a saucy and creamy avocado bite. Not too salty. The coffee was ordered to be sweetened but was very very lightly sweet. If you've trained yourself away from sugar you can taste it. It was okay though. I came for the sandwich anyways. The ambiance is outdoors and feels freeing.

If you're seeking a breakfast sandwich look no further. I tried the bodega sandwich, basically egg, cheese, bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and the sauce they add is tasty, too! I felt like I wanted a bit more from the bread, but it was still good. I ordered online and was able to pickup in about 10 minutes. Setting is in a food truck park with plenty of outdoor seating and a good amount of parking. It seems to be well taken care of. Overall recommend going if you're nearby and wanting a breakfasty sandwich!

Rating: 3.9/5 [Postmates delivery] Eggman was running a BOGO deal on Postmates, so it felt like the perfect time to try their breakfast sandwiches, with the upcharge being about $1. Each sandwich combo comes with a small portion of crispy, seasoned golden home fries on the side, but we were missing one order. For the sandwiches, I wasn't a fan of the roll they use or how it's prepared. It was a bit dry and floury. The Big Mess ($15.48) + Hash Brown Patty ($1.98): We got the medium Eggman sauce, which is spicy, sweet, and has a little kick, and no cheese. I wouldn't recommend adding the hash brown patty inside since it was soggy, crumbly, and made the sandwich messy to eat. Without cheese, the sandwich was on the drier side. The bacon was a bit hard, though it probably would have tasted better fresh. The Basic ($9.74) + Make it "The Weird Way" (Original, Medium, and Ranch sauces) ($1.89): The Weird Way made this sandwich very saucy and flavorful. Without it, the sandwich would have been plain and not worth it. Golden Home Fries: These potato cubes were just okay. They were under-seasoned and too starchy to eat on their own, so they definitely need a sauce.

I was looking for a new place to eat breakfast this morning. This was on the "recommended" list and thought I would try. I was able to preorder online, which was extremely easy. It seems like they get a lot of preorders. Once my order was ready - on time might I add, this thing is hot, made to order and looks great. Their NY style kaiser rolls are made exclusively for them and they have a range of house-made sauces from mild to spicy. There's free parking onsite too which is clutch. Great spot to enjoy a NY style breakfast sandwich! I am sure any sandwich here would taste great. I personally ordered the bacon egg and cheese, and it was perfect with the various sauces (and the cheeseeeeee)!!! Make sure you pair your sandwich with a hashbrown and orange juice. No doubt you'll leave satisfied!

I was taken back 15 years - felt like I was waiting at a midtown food cart, suited up, blackberry in my pocket buzzing - my boss wondering where the hell I am, and a BBM from last night's OK Cupid date telling me she just wants to be friends, but excited for my breakfast sandwich and coffee... ...but then i snapped out of it, the sound of Luis Miguel songs from the taco truck next door, realizing it was 85 degrees in April, and I'm in flip flops, iphone buzzing in my shorts pocket - my boss wondering where the hell I am, a Facetime from my wife telling me I better not be getting a bacon egg and cheese sandwich because I'm too fat...but now I'm excited for my breakfast sandwich and cold brew I was ready to be disappointed - like why all the fanfare over a cart that makes fried eggs and throws them on a roll. But I gotta tell you, I was very impressed. It was a really solid sandwich! and good potatoes. A little Austin flare with the sauce. They def do charge midtown prices and seemingly work with the urgency of a leisurely southern afternoon, but I'll let it slide..I'm a big fan!

The service on the Wednesday morning that I went was terrible. It took over 30 minutes for them to make one sandwich. I knew that it was busy, but it seemed like the order that they were sending them out wasn't fair because some people would go up and get theirs back right away because they sweet talked the cashier. It was such a long wait that I watched someone go up and return the order because they did not want to wait so long. If you're going to go-I'd recommend early in the morning. As for ordering- I knew the "big mess" was the most popular, and I wanted to try it. I don't like bacon, so I asked the cashier for the big mess no bacon (so that I could still get the 3x sauce and 3x cheese for a nice cheese pull) and she said " you could just order the sausage egg and cheese". I said okay even though I was worried that there wouldn't be the cheese pull and extra sauce. I was right and it was just a sausage egg and cheese which was lame because I wanted to order the other one without bacon and the cashier turned me down. I was pretty frustrated (especially after a 30 min wait). The sandwich itself was fine. I got the original sauce which just tasted like ketchup pretty much so to me it wasn't worth the wait for the food. I unfortunately don't like ketchup, so that sauce was a bummer to me. The ambiance outside was fine in the morning because none of the other food trucks were open, but everyone was tense due to the major delays in food. I will not be returning.

I tried both the Bodega and Queens breakfast sandwiches, and while they were both good in their own way, the Bodega definitely got me more. I recommend getting the medium salsa and I'd go back for it again. Traffic wasn't bad on a Sunday morning and parking was easy. The Queens sandwich had a really delicious sausage that was bomb and made it worth trying too the park/seating park area is covered, making it a perfect spot to sit and enjoy breakfast on beautiful days.

My husband and I decided to stop at Eggman ATX for some breakfast. We looked at the menu online and my husband placed our order for pickup in advance. We drove up on our E-bike and found a place to sit. I noticed that Eggman ATX is located in a food trailer park along with other food trailers. There was seating spread out around the area. The parking lot was kind of tricky with one way in and out of the area and limited parking but several people managed to park, pickup, and leave while others stayed around to eat. For my breakfast I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I ordered it with hash browns to be included in the sandwich. It also comes with a sauce of your choice and I chose the original on the side which is listed as sweet and tangy. My husband ordered a home fries bowl for us to share. When I got my sandwich I was a little surprised. It looked liked a hamburger. The menu says the sandwich is on a toasted roll but it seemed like it was on a hamburger bun. Despite that the eggs were good, the bacon was crispy and the cheese was melted. The hash browns were a nice addition to the sandwich for texture. The sauce was what it said sweet and tangy and gave the sandwich flavor. The home fries were very flavorful due to the seasoning on them. They came out hot and some were crispy and some were soft. It was a good mix of potatoes. Overall it was a pretty good breakfast sandwich that was very filling. The ordering process and pickup was easy and the atmosphere outside on a nice day was pleasant. I'd return in the future.

Located in a small food truck area off 1st street, Eggman ATX was a first stop for us to grab some delicious hot, fresh savory breakfast sandwiches while we were in the South Austin downtown area. They made their sauces homemade and is included in your sandwich (original, medium, house hot, and buttermilk ranch). My husband and I both ordered the SEC ( sausage egg and cheese) his with buttermilk ranch and mines with medium sauce. Both were really good but I enjoyed his slightly more because of the savory flavor from the buttermilk ranch. We also tried their hash browns which was solid but would definitely taste better dipped in their sauces. We lucked out and came on a Saturday morning around 9am where there was no line and parking was plenty. It being in January, the weather was brisk cold but they do have a small heat lamp over one of the tables, first come first serve! Staff was friendly and they even checked up on us while we were eating! Tip: you can also order online ahead of time.

Good breakfast sandwiches! I tried the turkey egg and cheese and loved the amount of ingredients they put on I thought it was perfect. The sauces were very meh in my opinion but to each their own. The hot sauce just felt very much like chili oil or something that I'd eat with dinner not breakfast. Parking can be tricky so plan ahead for that as well. My coworkers and I wanted some breakfast sandwiches the next morning, so I placed an online order for 8am the next day. When I arrived, the order was bagged up and ready to go with all of the sandwiches labeled as requested. I didn't stick around but there was plenty of parking spots, shade, and picnic tables for people who want to eat their food there. Eggman ATX absolutely nailed our order; every sandwich was correct. They were also DELICIOUS. We were all really happy with our food. My coworkers got a classic bacon/egg/cheese, the big mess, and a bacon/egg/cheese (make it weird). I got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of hot honey and their house made hot sauce. I loved the thickness and cook of the bacon as well as the gooeyness of the cheese. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. The hot sauce was tasty and paired great with the sandwich. Spent 15 years in NYC and have really missed the Bodega BEC on a roll so this was a GREAT find!! This was perfection. Everything cooked perfectly, great portion size and the staff was friendly and kind. I was ticked when I found a Tootsie roll in the bottom of the bag - what a cute touch!! Is he breaking the bread fresh himself? If not, I don't see how this is any different than going to whataburger for a BOB. At least when Wholy Bagel charges you 8.50 for a sausage and cheese sandwich it is on a freshly baked bagel, baked in store. Even Chick-Fil-A has fresh baked biscuits every morning for breakfast. I'm originally from Brooklyn myself, and I do love a good Kaiser roll with butter and cheese for breakfast, but at the bodega that would cost you a couple of bucks, not $9 for something you can get at any fast food drive through. If I want to spend that much for a breakfast sandwich, I'll go to wholey bagel, and if I just want egg, cheese and sausage on bread, I can go to any drive through Update: I see the owner has responded, but as to be expected, he responded with nonsense. Where to begin: 1) he says he uses all "fresh ingredients" but so does everyone else. No one else is serving pre-cooked eggs, or precooked sausage etc, every business cooks to order, and again, places like Wholey Bagel are also baking their bread fresh every day (even chick fil a baked fresh biscuits every morning if you get a biscuit sandwich, so does Bird Bird Biscuit and many many others) 2) he says prices are different in NYC and Texas. Yeah, prices in NYC are generally higher than prices in Texas, so how is he justifying double to triple the price in TX vs NYC 3) he is right when he says his breakfast spot is not for me, because I'm not a sucker who gets duped because some dude slaps "NYC Style" on his menu and sign. If you are spending your money here, it's because you don't mind throwing away your money on something that you could get for less and equal quality elsewhere read more

Ordered pickup online and they made food 20+ min ahead of pickup. Cold and soggy by the time I got it. Hashbrowns just tasted like burnt grease. Sandwich was a mess and too salty to eat. Go anywhere else for a breakfast sandwich. $37 for inedible food for 2 is so not worth is. read more

Ok, Eggman was really good, but it as at the next level now as Noah has been making perfect over medium eggs! True NY egg sandwiches often have a medium soft yolk and Noah knows how to do it! Visiting from DFW and this spot was a popular recommendation. It was underwhelming to say the least. I ordered one SEC and one BEC combo with two juices and it was $32/! Potatoes were undercooked and sandwiches were just okay. Salsa cups had like two drops each for $.75, and they were mid at best. The wait time was okay, for everything to be made to order, but it was a pretty disappointing breakfast overall. read more

I'm so happy to see an NYC-bodega-style breakfast sandwich in Austin! It's a nice change from the constant breakfast taco grind. I watched the cook crack the eggs and make the sandwich to order and it did not disappoint! Choose the original sauce for a sweet-savory flavor (akin to the classic NYC breakfast sandwich with Ketchup + salt/pepper) or the spicy sauce for something more like a hot sauce. read more

My boyfriend and I went this morning to get a quick breakfast. We both got the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. They were amazing! My only note would be to have a little more of the sauce + evenly disperse it (I got the medium and the flavor was really good). The owner even came out and talked to us a bit. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I ordered the chicken caldo soup, which was not served with avocado. The waitress did not check in with us immediately after the food was served but when I inquired about it I noticed there was an up charge on the bill for avocado. I recommend allowing the substitution of the tortilla chips with avocado in the future for a healthier alternative. However chicken caldo traditionally cones with avocado. I also tried the Mag nachos, with tortilla chips topped with black beans, cheddar/jack cheese, jalapeño, tomato, green onion, avocado and sour cream. These were very tasty and unlike the caldo, was served with avocado. The food took a while to come out and the service felt slower than expected. Magnolia has a great reputation, so I was hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell short of expectations.

Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. The service was fine, better when we first walked in than when we sat down. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sub (blasphemous I know with all the breakfast options) because I figured you can't screw that up. It was small for the price, had little to no flavor, and the chicken chunks were just not it. I want to come back to try the Caribbean French toast but it's going to be a hard negotiation with the boy as he's already over this spot.

This is a pretty cool local Austin joint, and with three locations around the area, I had to stop and try one after seeing so many good reviews. Ordering is a little different. You use the touchscreen kiosk under the covered portico on the side of the building. After you place your order, you enter your phone number, and it gives you your name and order number. Watch for the text message letting you know your food is ready, then pick it up at the front of the building at the pickup window. There's no indoor seating--just covered outdoor seating, which was perfectly fine. They do have a restroom, but it's for paying customers only. I can't remember the name of what I ordered, but it was a huge piece of fried chicken on a biscuit with bacon and sweet barbecue sauce smothered all over it. It was amazing. If that's representative of what they serve, I can see why this place gets so much attention. I didn't order a drink since I already had water with me, so I think I made it out of there for somewhere between $13 and $18. If you're in Austin, you've got to give this place a try. It's a fun local spot with excellent biscuits and a sandwich that's absolutely worth the stop.

This time we ordered 2 bird bird bacon biscuits and a plain biscuit with jelly. The biscuits are always fresh, hot, perfect balance of salted butter, and very tender. The bacon is plentiful, and crispy. None of that half cooked chewy stuff!!! The plain biscuit with jelly has this absolutely delicious strawberry jelly with chunks of yummy strawberries. The staff is always willing to help and assist in anyway possible even though it's more of a window service set up. After 5 visits and all 5 star I will continue to support such an amazing company/brand everytime I come to Austin!!

The Lox n' found croiffin comes with a toasted croissant roll, smoked salmon, ricotta, avocado, arugula, capers, pickled onions and dill. I added an egg for an additional charge of $2. This was a beautiful and tasty sandwich! It was very filling, too. I highly recommend checking out this unique spot!

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. The sandwich was delicious and filling, so I definitely didn't need them, but I do feel like I didn't get what I paid for.

We went with the Texas Toast House with Onion Rings for $11.25. Nice to share. I do wish the portions were a bit larger, but it wasn't bad. I appreciated the top notch hospitality and they were dog friendly. It also was nice and cold inside to take a step away from the heat outside. Very clean and wonderful helpful staff.

The only complaint we had was we wish it was open past 3pm because this menu would rock late night. They don't have their liquor license yet but they are working on it so they hope to have it real soon. Also it says paid parking out front but if you eat here you can totally park there for free so don't be scared by the signs. The service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. We LOVED this place. Mondays & Tuesdays are sad days for me. lol I still try other places sometimes, but I'm often disappointed. Unfortunately I don't live close by & my town has ZERO middle eastern places to eat. So that's also why I place larger orders. 1. Correction: The meat actually IS cooked and shaved from a spit. But, it's not paper thin and dry like some places tend to be. It's also not chicken breast. It's either thigh or a combination of both. Whatever it is, it's working. It's the best chicken I've ever had. I've tried to recreate it at home 100 times, but it's just not gonna happen. 2. I don't think I've actually ordered from here 40 individual times, but when I do come, I order several wraps. I special order them whole with no sauce or pickles so I can put a couple in the fridge to save for the rest of the week. They don't get soggy that way and are easier to toss in the air fryer or oven later. Then I add sauce & pickles later along with pomegranate molasses. I always keep a bottle handy. (HEB has it) Salam's is always really great about granting those requests for me. 3. They have added their baklava to the online menu. Yay! **If I could add anything to the menu, it would be little cups of pomegranate molasses. Personally, it doesn't affect me because I always get my food to go & I keep a bottle at home. But, I hate that other people might be missing out on it. I mix it with their garlic sauce. When you give your wrap a little dip, then take a bite, it's like a few seconds of heaven on earth. Think: that popular video/meme/scene where John Hamm is in the club looking blissful. Yeah, it's like that.

I met a group here for a pre-show meal and appreciated being seated promptly upon arrival, even though my entire party had not yet arrived. I ordered the chicken caldo soup, which was not served with avocado. The waitress did not check in with us immediately after the food was served but when I inquired about it I noticed there was an up charge on the bill for avocado. I recommend allowing the substitution of the tortilla chips with avocado in the future for a healthier alternative. However chicken caldo traditionally cones with avocado. I also tried the Mag nachos, with tortilla chips topped with black beans, cheddar/jack cheese, jalapeño, tomato, green onion, avocado and sour cream. These were very tasty and unlike the caldo, was served with avocado. The food took a while to come out and the service felt slower than expected. Magnolia has a great reputation, so I was hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell short of expectations.

I ate maybe six fries from my basket while my boyfriend put a substantial dent in his. I had the cheeseburger on a sub roll and ate the whole darn thing! In all honesty, we should have shared a basket of fries and the burger. The beef was seasoned and cooked to perfection allowing all of the burger toppings to converge together in my mouth for a flavor explosion. Boyfriend had the falafel sandwich; double patty. Took a bite (of course) and boom...goodness! I'm still so full, now that I'm home I can't move. I'm done.
