Have been hearing good things about this pizza for awhile and finally stopped in to try for myself. Highly recommend! Dive bar atmosphere with good service, and plenty of tvs.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT overlook this spot. The food is amazing! They have the same food as the next door spot LOT 46. The pizza cuts sandwiches are to die for. I think it is officially my favorite food in Denver. The crispy pizza dough as the bread for a sandwich is unbelievable!!

Good vibes (browns bar), pizza is delicious, and the ranch is by far the best in Denver. Excited to have found this spot so close to home!

The best place for a home made pizza with fresh veggies (tomatoes, mushrooms, meat) which was absolutely delicious and filling They have a great happy hour Monday-Fri from 12-5 pm with $5 & $10 deals. One the oldest and best place to eat.

Wow, what a total hidden gem. How have I lived a mile and 1/2 from this place and never been? Super old school cool decor and building. Reminded me of some of my favorite neighborhood bars back in Chicago. Delicious pizza. Super friendly and attentive service. Cozy and friendly vibes all around. And so affordable. Can't wait to go back!

The pasta is literally deteriorating as I try to eat it. It's swimming in a soup of sauce that isn't marinara, tastes like a bad vodka sauce. My Caesar salad, which cost me $10 arrived on top of the baked ziti. Baking in the bag. It arrives not just warm, but hot. It's also the smallest, wettest salad I've ever seen. Actually, this spot is centrally located, on the edge of Uptown and Five Points, right between City Park and the Central Business District. There's also a nice parking lot. I ordered the Supreme with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and kalamata olives. I found it very average. I collected it promptly at the time specified, but the crust was very soggy and too droopy to pick up a slice. The toppings were OK, but nothing special. The amount of tomato sauce was a little light for my taste and it was very bland. The same with the cheese. I had heard good things about this place, but there is far superior pizza to be had in Denver these days. I was not impressed. The area is not well-lighted and it's kind of creepy at night. So is the building. The staff was friendly and they did bring me my takeout box promptly.

Would love to try their pizza again in the future. Will definitely be on our list for our next Denver trip.

The vibe is cool with music playing, garage doors that open up to the outdoor patio & a friendly staff. We arrived mid afternoon on a sunny Sunday for pizza. As the owner(s) say, why the name Black Shirt, "it's my symbol of rebellion- Johnny Cash". " Black shirts stand for rebellion, independence, and the courage to stand apart." And their pizzas do stand apart from others! We ordered the War Pig Pizza and a small Caesar Salad. The pizza was topped with a red sauce & a cheese blend, with cotija, pepperoni, prosciutto, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes & a chipotle-maple glaze - it was outstanding! The combination with these ingredients made for a delicious craveable pizza. I especially liked the glaze, more sweet than spicy. However, the salad was just okay, the dressing didn't have a lot of flavor & the lettuce could have been more fresh. Overall a great lunch & I look forward to trying some of their other pizzas as well as their beer.

What can i say aside from, they are THE BEST! I love their style crust! Thin and crispy but not TOO thin. More NY style which is my fave. The garlic bread was also superior. The Floor is Guava was fruity and flavorful, but not too sweet. We started with some east coast oysters - they tasted very fresh and perfect amount of brine. Perfect starter to have ahead of pizza. We ordered the Peppers pizza and Meatball pizza. You can't go wrong with either, but Peppers was both of our favorite with the heat from the Calabrian chili. It did feel a little personal when she aggressively threw the ingredients into my drink and then threw my check down and walked away. I'm still not sure why this happened. I haven't been doing great lately and thought coming to one of my old favorite spots would be a good pick me up but that wasn't the case tonight.
