Derek from ecoshield came out today to do an interior service. He's a credit to the company name. He actually loves his job and is really knowledgeable and helpful. He caught other things that had been missed (mud daubers) and made sure to take care of it. I didn't read all of that ranting review below, but we did not have the same experience. When I asked my salesperson about canceling they made it clear which fees I would pay. But I never crossed that bridge because I like Ecoshield. Everyone they send to my house is so kind and professional, including Guadalupe today. They always let me know when they are coming about 30 minutes before they arrive. The only time I find roaches in my house, they are already dead due to Ecoshield's treatment, but that is rare. I once called them out between services for an extra treatment before without issue. I even bought their mosquito service this year, which I highly recommend. read more

Going to post this on both of entries for this company. They came by twice in one day at 2:07 PM and 7:37 PM. Rapped five times softly on the door. It was so quiet the dog did not pick it up. Did not ring the bell. Only reason we know they were there is by the motion detector or the camera and the logo on their hats. Did not leave a business card, flyer or door tag. Reportedly two of the employees were found in the back yard of a neighboring home and fled when they were challenged. This is not the way a legit company should be cold calling. This morning they showed up at my daughter's rental. My husband confronted them about their tactics. The rep stammered and retreated. read more

If I could leave no stars, I absolutely would. This company is a scam. They will lie to you and tell you they have customers in your neighborhood and their "service" is a joke. They will continue billing and trying to automatically roll your contract, even if you have told them numerous times to cancel. DO NOT believe the fake positive reviews. They are the worst! I've been with Ecoshield for about a good year in a half now I want to say. I love the results I have received from being with them! Affordable and great working products. Chandler has been such a great help in the process of coming out to spray my home. Making sure my wishes are full filled and that I am receiving the services that are needed. Everyone I've interacted with at EcoShield has been very friendly. The first gentleman who knocked on my door (whose name escapes me... Tyler, perhaps?) was sociable and knowledgeable without being pushy. Do not use Ecoshield. They are such a scam. I called in 5 times to cancel and it was nearly impossible. Do not waste your money and do not sign a contract with them! They say they are a local company when they go door to door, but they are not. If I see an ecoshield person near my property I will call the police. One guy came in and asked to use a toothpick, which was very weird. Another person left a very large open knife in our shoe closet. I have four kids so you could see why that would be a problem. I have never had a bad experience after using them for almost two years. Yes the sales people were sales-y but they were clear and I ultimately purchased with them. Every technician has been super kind and responsive. They've come between services when I had wasp issues. Theyve treated my wasps, ants, spiders, roaches, all within my contract. I've mostly had them spray outside and only once inside when I first moved in and we never find live bugs (besides flies). I use them quarterly and would highly recommend. read more
