Absolutely unprofessional salesman. The same salesman ran through our lawn from our neighbors lawn to our other neighbors lawn. Running in between our vehicles and our neighbors vehicles when there are walkways and sidewalks. We have 2 no soliciting signs in front of our house. One is a large visible sign and the other is literally on our door. Rang our bell 4 different times today. Even when told we are NOT INTERESTED, the salesman continued to just bother. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY - They keep asking for money and don't fix the issue + $250 to cancel the 1 yr contract. Signed up to deal with acrobat ants coming into my house through a gap in the moulding. Multiple times I've had technicians come out who couldn't care less about their job spray along the window sill and leave without investigating where the ants are coming from or if they would need to treat other areas. Now they're telling me I need to schedule an inspector and PAY MORE for speciality service to remove the ants. The issue was never solved and I have just as many ants as before. I have been a faithful customer, and yesterday, I called more than twenty-four hours in advance to cancel. of course, this call was outsourced to people who do not understand or speak properly. I have had EcoShield for years and their customer service recently has gone way downhill. I had them to termite work, and an exclusion on the property several years ago. The termite boxes are now strewn around above ground and have not been serviced. I recently had a rat in the house, and they had to "re-do" the exclusion (to the tune of $1,400) because the first time they only filled 3 holes. Additionally the tech said all of the rat boxes had not been serviced in a while. At one point a few years ago, the rat box was open and my dog got into the rat poison (he was immediately taken to the vet and is thankfully ok) but they said they would pay the vet bill and never have. I have tried to speak to a manager at least 3 times in the last week to get the rodents removed from my house, and just keep being told they were not at the company when I had all of this work completed, so they can only help me moving forward. I am still trying to cancel my service and contest the charges. Do not do business with them. read more

Avoid this company! They force you into a one-year agreement and then charge you a hefty cancellation fee (nearly $300) even if you are unhappy with their services. I was very dissatisfied. During the first service, the technician knocked loose an exterior light. When I called and reported the incident, I was met with resistance. The technician claimed the light was already loose when he did the service, so I was basically accused of lying. It took me talking to the owner to get the issue resolved. I no longer wanted to do business with this company. After I cancelled my services they billed me the cancellation fee and threatened to send me to collections. I ended up paying it to stop their constant phone calls and harassment. read more

Avoid at all costs. Habitual liars. Sales rep, technicians, and receptionists consistently lied about what they cover and the services they provide. If you decide to go with them, do not be surprised if they deceive you on the work they provide. Watch out if you are thinking about working for EcoShield. Sales people are "trained" and then given about 1 month to prove their worth. Not much training after that. If they don't meet their goal they send them packing. They pray on young people telling them how they can make all this money by just working hard, but don't seem like they are willing to help them improve! Started off pretty good but now it's horrible. The customer service is horrible, you always have to call center who have no answers for you. They charge me for inside and out and don't come inside. Every time you call nothing gets solved. Very frustrating. Not only will I not be renewing my contract the people who referred me are now ending their contract as well since they are not having a good time with them either. Worst company. Stay away. I had their service for over a year. I called and confirmed months before I sold my house to stop service, but they decided to still come out 4 months later and service my house twice more - after I had moved. After calling them for the fourth time, and after they confirmed that I had indeed called months ago to stop service - they still argued that services were rendered (even if never authorized) and that I still owed them a balance. BEWARE. I called EcoShield Pest Control on Anderson Mill Road to make an appointment for my ant problem. I wanted to make AN APPOINTMENT, nothing more.  But be prepared it's mandatory that you are chatty and have the right attitude with the person on the phone. I was ask for my name, address, why I called, how i was doing twice, email address, how I found out about them; ask me 2-3 times, THEN was TOLD IF I DIDNT answer all of the questions, she couldnt go forward. Even after i gave her the information 3 times there was a problem.  Keep in mind all of this was BEFORE i even had an appointment date or time. Nothing abouf what they could do for me. All was about me and my personal information.  When I got upset and ask to finally make the appointment, i was told that the information i gave was NOT written down and that I would have to CALL BACK and start over.  And ...no appointment had been made or COULD be made. Just a warning to everyone trying to cope with all the ants and creepy crawlies this summer --- don't sign up with Ecoshield. The young man who sold us on it insisted that it would be easy and no penalty to cancel if there was no improvement after 2 treatments. The first treatment went ok, on the second treatment they did not remove wasp nests or spider webs as promised and no improvement on the ants. I called to cancel and there is a $150 (not cancelation fee) account ending fee. I should never have believed him but I did. They will not bend on the charge that I was told would not happen. I'm making them come back to treat as many times as I can before my next billable treatment and then canceling to get away from an unethical sales practice company.
