This was my first time going to a Dunkin Donuts and boy was I disappointed. These are not real donuts, they are more like the donuts you get in the bakery section of a grocery store! The variety was very limited compared to a traditional donut shop. The layout, feel, and service is comparable to McDonald's. Fantastic service! So I was out driving with my daughter, she has a learners permit, anyways she wanted to get a Calamel Macchiato from here. So we drive out and went through the Drive Thru got to the window and realized that I forgot my wallet! Very embarrassing! However, the supervisor was so nice she let us have our drinks anyways. I love coffee, and sometimes Starbucks coffee can be a little too bitter for me. I was happy they opened this Dunkin' Donuts to close to me. We've been coming here for a little over a year and have never had a bad experience. I'm not a huge donut fan, but every donut I've tried I liked there. The staff is always very nice. I prefer going here over Starbucks any day, and we're about 3 miles from this place and only around the corner from Starbucks. Tip: Get the blueberry cronut if it comes back - it's the best dang this ever. This is by far my favorite Dunkin Donuts on the West coast and I'm from New Jersey so I've been to my fair share of DDs. We went through the drive thru and the lady taking our order was very patient with our indecisiveness and once we ordered and left there was a young man who chased us down almost to the light to give us our card back man I'm pretty sure he was a track start because we were almost gone lol. I drove 45 minutes to Dunkin Donuts to really understand what people were raving about. My friend and I bought two coffee's, both tasted awful. I feel like the only reason people like Dunkin' Donuts is because it is just pure sugar and milk, not good quality coffee. My friend sipped her drink and said "it tastes like I just took a bite out of a Clorox wipe" she expresses. We had such high expectations for their coffee, and we were completely let down. I tried Dunkin based off of what I'd heard and how good it is.. I came to this location and my drink was beyond gross. When I first asked how big a medium was, I got an unsure response. I ordered a iced vanilla latte and the look of it was very light brown almost white. It tasted like all milk and French vanilla creamer poured without measurement, way too sweet and expensive for this coffee I received. Will not try again. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Dunkin Donuts since their grand opening. Unfortunately, recent experiences have absolutely driven me away. The last time I went in, the cashier made a rude comment while walking away. The time before that, I stood and waited for my breakfast sandwich just to learn they'd forgotten about my order. I reached out to a manager but never received a response. This shows to me how this business does not care about its customers. I used to go just about every day and now I will never be returning. Unless their manager decides to step up their game and handle issues promptly, I can't imagine them having much success. After all, it takes a good leader to manage a team. read more

I'm originally from Boston Ma.,I have been wanting to try the Dunkin Donut here on the west coast. I went to the Folsom shop...service was great ..Donuts were not so great..I was happy to see that the lemon filled had powder sugar on it..the lemon filling lacked that sour sweet lemon flavor you would expect , the raspberry filling was red but you could see through it, like raspberry jello. The rest of my dozen was assorted. ALL of them were tough and chewy. Back east the cake donuts had a handle so one could "Dunk" your donut. This is not a donut shop. It is a fast food restaurant and as such it's sub par quality for sure. The donuts are dry and do not taste fresh. They tasted left over and they were only open for two days when I went there. The service was also terrible they seemed disorganized and I remember waiting a good 4 minutes just to get some creamer for my coffee. Since they didn't provide it when I ordered it at the register. On the other hand there is good news. There is an excellent donut shop called Duckys donuts very close by west on Madison from there. They have no negative reviews on Yelp they are that good. And you can feel good about supporting a local small business instead of going to a chain store. In closing I would like to say I didn't get compensated or encouraged in any way to leave this review. This was my first time going to dunkin donuts. I thought it was pretty good. Got a breakfast croissant, donut, and small coffee for around 7-8 bucks. Not a bad deal in my opinion. I thought the small coffee though was a little smaller than other places and I didn't like the lids. They seemed outdated. I didn't trust it wouldn't spill so I ended up drinking it there. Other than that the staff was very friendly. There's at least 4 other donut shops closer to me than this one, but I could see myself coming back. I think the coffee won me over. read more

VERY friendly and helpful employees! I went in to buy two dozen doughnuts for some contractors who were working on our house. I asked one of the super friendly young gals working behind the counter to pick them out for me - as I knew she had much more experience than I in knowing what men like! She was great! The service is not good especially through the drive-thru they always get the order's wrong .I ordered 4 donunts 2 cinnamon rolls witch the girls stacked on top of of each other needless to say all the frosting came off on the top donut also I ordered 2 jelly filled and when we got home their was only one jelly filled plus 2 cups of coffee and 3 donunts was almost $9. Had a bad experience here.. Used the drive through and the employee taking my order made me repeat my order 3 times because she was too busy talking and laughing with a coworker. Got home and noticed I was charged for 5 donuts when I ordered 4, and the 4 donuts I received weren't even correct! Drove 30 minutes to get my free DD drink for signing up for DD perks, which they sold me the first time I visited this place. Anyway, this cashier Alisha H. Should NOT be in the front of the store taking orders. No customer service skills whatsoever! OMG! I get it, it's busy, the line is out the door, only 1 register is working! But man, if you're on the register, you should at least SMILE and pretend you like your job! I've work as customer service representative for a long time and I get it! It's not a pleasant job! But come on! Tarin who took our order for drinks was way more pleasant and cheerful, she should be on the register! Gods job girl! Back to my perks, well Alisha H. Informed me unapologetically that DD perks is not working! I understand it's not her fault but again, can you sound a little sorry about it! Geez girl! Great service in the drive thru I had to wait about 7 minutes for my box of joe but it was brewed fresh so I don't mind! I also got a DD rewards card activated for $2. The manager gave me a free glazed donut for waiting and it also came with ten coffee cups and the dark brew is amazing. read more

Ive been here about three times since they have opened. They have some of the best basic flavored iced teas around plus they are very cheap. On one occasion I had to wait a while while one of their machines was being cleaned and they gave us free donuts for the wait. Customer service is great. I have been going to this place 2 or 3 times a week since they opened with my boyfriend and son and they have gotten my order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. The staff are morons and i constantly have to repeat my order. Which is basic coffee and donuts. Today i had them remake my iced hazelnut coffee three times because of how awful they made it. I was very excited to go to this Dunkin' Donuts. When I went in there the place was completely a mess. The floors look like they've been swept in over a week. Hot mess! I love coffee and donuts, so I thought it would be a good place to snack, have my coffee, and do homework. I've had it on the east coast, and I don't remember the service being this horrendous. A number of things were jacked up with the customer service and I was given the wrong donuts altogether, but my coffee was completely forgotten about because the people working were shooting-the-shit. I'm all for a fun work environment, but since there was/is no one else in the store still, it's not hard to manage the one drink ordered. As I walked up to the counter for my drink (which had not been acknowledged let alone made), the person who took my order asked what I was waiting on... you should know you little shit, there hasn't been an order since mine! Yes this place is clean, but that's because no one comes inside. The manager eventually came in, and nonchalantly engaged in the conversation while I watched a customer wait to be helped. The second time I went here they totally messed up my order. I ordered the same iced coffee and the guy who was taking my order looked confused. Really nice located and decorated very lounge inside like a Starbucks but the donuts were a disappointment. I guess I haven't had an actual Dunkin Donut since I was a teenager but don't remember me not liking it. I had just a regular chocolate glazed donut and some regular glazed donut holes and they were cakey. So it makes me wonder what their cake donuts taste like. I do not like their recipe for the regular donut at all, not worth cheating on my diet for. My husband got a French crueller and was disappointed as well. read more
