Upon entrance of Haraz has a sweet & fresh smell. The energy of the building was very soft and nice. They have an assortment of food, I was there for a coffee and grabbed a pastry. I did see from Others they were bringing out lunch menu items that looked and smelled amazing. I will be back. The bee bites paired so well with my salted caramel latte.
The chocolate baklava was super yummy, as well as their 7 layer bar. But hey, I went there for the coffee, not the sweets. I had Turkish coffee for the very first time and was kinda disappointed. I paid the extra $3 for the fancy set up, but still, I dont know if it was the kind of coffee or what, but it was probably just the mix of espresso and spices in it that I did not enjoy. If I go back I'll probably end up trying something else. The shop itself was lovely. Clean and well maintained. The gal behind the counter was very nice and helped me carry my tray to where I was sitting as well.
Absolutely loved the vibe at Haraz Coffee House! The shop is super clean, welcoming, and the employees were very helpful and kind. The baklava was SO good -- and I'm Middle Eastern, so I know good baklava when I taste it! Honestly, pretty much all the desserts were on point. The pour-over and the matcha were both really good. However, the Saudi coffee just wasn't for me, in my opinion, it didn't hit the mark. They even gave my dog a pup cup, which was such a sweet touch! Overall, I'd definitely come back for the desserts, pour-over, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
Modern & stylish decor, and they have lots of seating. Their menu is very similar to Qamari cafe nearby. I liked that they have a lot of seating options whether you're studying or chatting with friends. I got the hot chocolate since there weren't any non-caffeinated options and it was too late for coffee for me. The hot chocolate was good though. Would come back and try the desserts, they looked yummy, especially pistachio tres leches!
Just like the Yemeni coffee shop across the street, this place serves really good coffee. The barista was super helpful with recommendations, and the fancy decor makes the whole experience even better. Sorry, Starbucks. I may have found my new favorite spot!

This place was excellent. Excellent service, excellent coffee, excellent food. I was so excited to find a healthier restaurant. The items on their menu and the food I received felt like REAL FOOD. For the combination plate-- both meats were juicy and delicious, the yogurt, salad, hummus, and fries complemented the meal very well. The cardamom latte was nice and creamy with just the right amount of cardamom. I also got a piece of their chocolate cake, it was quite delectable! The atmosphere is great-- seating is abundant, with two seating areas inside and one outside seating area. I chose to sit outside. I read my book and journaled for some time. Looking around, there were many other people there with books or their laptops just hanging out. What a great spot!
My new go to study spot when I'm in the area! This place is so clean, has huge windows to intake the scenery, and their service is so efficient. I love their options, their prices make up for the quality of what they serve, and it's so chic and modern. Their internet is really good, and free! I did 14 pages of my research essay here. Very quiet, lowkey, and I love the comfiness. I will be coming here again!
The food was delicious... they may have the best hummus I have tried! The chicken was so flavorful with a garlic aioli. And it also had a fresh and delicious side salad. Our drinks were amazing! The flavors of everything were just right... not too strong and not too light. The service are so friendly and everything came out in a timely manner... The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and makes you feel like you slipped into another place... we really enjoyed our stop in here and will definitely be back... if you love the exciting flavors of the Middle East this is the place for you! Come on out and help them thrive in this new location!
The ambiance, quality and service are all an easy 5 stars. I love the feel of a new coffee shop and this one did not disappoint. I can't handle the all-sugar drinks at the big brand coffee shops or being limited to tea bags and water (that I can easily have at home). I loved that at Haraz their drinks are not created with premade simple syrup ingredients that are super high in sugar. I was able to skip the sugar altogether and add only honey in the amount I was comfortable with. I had the Adeni tea and it was strong and delicious. My husband and I shared a decadent chocolate and pistachio treat. And he really enjoyed his drink. This place is perfect for a date, where you can talk with enough privacy, without being interrupted by waiters during a meaningful conversation, with the elegance that feels like you have been transported to another region of the world. After nearly twenty two years of marriage, making it a habit to sit and relax at places like this are what help keep our marriage moving in the right direction. Thank you for the gift of this space, Haraz!
I had the pistachio latte and the mosaic chocolate cake. Both were delicious and very flavorful. Highly recommended!!! My husband tried the maleki coffee which was strong and delicious. The service was excellent. The server took time explaining the drink options. He was very nice and service provided was top notch. Inside is very spacious, lots of sitting space, nice relaxing and clean. Will definitely go back.
Beautiful drinks and ethnic treats. Really can't complain. Also, the ambiance is very calming and relaxing.
1st and last time here. I came to study and ordered their strawberry matcha and it was OVERLY sweet I've had many matchas in this area and this one is by far the worst. I asked them if I could get it switched with some tea instead and all they said was no they couldn't do that. Not very accommodating to customers. Tables are also super low and tiny outside. I recommend capy cafe if you want some good matcha!

I discovered this place by accident when I had to find something to do for a couple hours while my car was being serviced at the dealership. I visited in the late afternoon, around 3pm, and the place was quiet except for 3-4 other customers inside. I was really impressed by how spacious and beautiful the interior is... definitely not what I expected based on the exterior of the building. There is plenty of seating, in various configurations, throughout - small tables, bigger tables, comfy bench seats, lounge chairs, and the like. There was only one girl working during my visit and she was kind, helping me with questions about their menu items. I did not have anything to eat, but they did have an assortment of baked goods to choose from. The coffee I tried was okay... I went for something new to me, but I probably wouldn't order it again. If I'm in the area again I'll make sure to pay this place another visit! read more

I stopped by to try the popular hard fruit dessert that I've been seeing online, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the hype for me. I ordered the Lavender Matcha Latte, and while it was pleasant enough, it mostly tasted like sweet cream and milk. I didn't get much of the matcha flavor or the depth you'd expect from a properly brewed tea. Considering the price point, I was hoping for a more balanced and flavorful drink. The hard fruit dessert was also a disappointment. Not only was it expensive, but it essentially tasted like a candy-coated mousse. While the presentation was eye-catching, I didn't find it particularly unique or memorable from a flavor standpoint. That said, the café itself has a lovely atmosphere. The ambiance is calm, relaxing, and a great place to sit and unwind. The space alone makes for an enjoyable visit. I may give it another try in the future and order one of their coffee drinks instead. It's possible that the items I chose simply weren't the best representation of what they do well. read more

Pretty good. I came for the fruit pastries. I got blueberry 6/10, the raspberry 7/10, and the mango 5.5/10. We also got the match frappe w/vanilla 7.5/10 and it comes with honey which makes the flavors taste better. The mango was the only one that didnt have the crunch. read more

I needed a place to go to, but found somewhere I'll need to come back to, instead. Clean storefront, cozy seating, fresh flowers and cute lighting... Don't get me started on the za'taar. It was delightful, I found myself quite nostalgic over it while sipping my coffee. Since it was raining, I opted for an iced espresso, but catch me coming back to try a staff recommended drink. Haraz is a new upscale coffee shop in Folsom. Located by Winco, in the little group of businesses that include Montessori Academy and Music Lab. Plenty of seating, but an intimate feeling if you want to meet for a coffee date or treat yourself! I ordered a hot Haraz latte that comes with 2 shots of espresso, honey, milk and Haraz spice. It was just perfect for a cool and cloudy day. I also had to try the pistachio tres leches cake and it is so decadent! It was a short wait for the coffee and I really appreciate that I did not have to ask for a coffee stopper stick to keep it warm. While there may be some similarities to Qamaria near by, the vibe is definitely different. Worth stopping by and trying something new for sure. I'm happy Haraz is here and look forward to coming back with friends! read more

I tried HARAZ for the first time and ordered their specialty latte and coffee drink. The haraz latte was nice not overly sweet and well balanced spices. The haraz coffe was so hot I burned my lips, it was off for me. We also purchased the mango dragon fruit refresher, which was fantastic . The interior is absolutely stunning. The furniture, décor, and overall design feel so well thought-out and intentional. It's one of those places where you walk in and instantly notice how beautiful everything is. Another huge plus: they're open late! In Folsom, most coffee shops close early, so having a gorgeous spot with great drinks and extended hours is such a treat. The service was friendly.. Brand new, second day, Yemeni coffee shop. The company is based in Michigan, and their goal is to serve customers delicious arabica coffee. And they have succeeded so far. Currently is their soft opening, and we ordered two lattes, a pistachio and Haraz latte, both off which were delicious. Smooth, slightly exotic, and we'll balanced. This location was formerly a Thai and Viet restaurant, but it's current iteration seems poised to succeed. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Haraz, a mountainous region in Yemen west of Sana'a, is distinguished by its premium, specialty coffee. But you don't have to travel far to enjoy handcrafted beverages made with specialty Yemeni beans. Haraz in Folsom is just nearby. It has wonderful ambiance and the best selection of coffee, matcha drinks as well as pastries ! This relatively new coffee brand, which originated in Michigan has roots in the Yemeni mountains. One of the few times I've been tempted to actually review a place on Yelp. Their customer service was great, it was, and the ambiance is really serene and beautiful, and I tried their coffee and I really loved it. I even bought a couple popular pastries on the side, delicious as they were, something was off. One was completely frozen, one was just fine, but the last one was warm and not crunchy like the others. I didn't immediately throw up any red flags, thought "oh maybe this one just wasn't designed to be crunchy". I still didn't eat the whole thing because the inside was warm and questionable, but I had eaten just enough for my body to later reject it. Worst food poisoning I have ever had to deal with, threw up all night and had to call out of work. I want to emphasize, this place can be great, but they just gave me something that should've been thrown away and I got very sick from it. If anyone buys a pastry, don't eat it if it's warm, and even ask, that stuff is literally dairy. read more

Haraz is cozy spot for an amazing cup of coffee. There are many different options to choose from, their espresso is perfect and they have a great selection of lattes. The spices they add to their lattes, especially the pistacchio latte and macchiato, are delicious and not found at many coffee shops. Additionally, their baked items, particularly the baklava really hits the spot! There is plenty of seating inside and it's good for small groups. Oh my goshhh what a gem!! Nestled in an unsuspecting area, as soon as you walk in, you forget you're in a strip mall. The service was lovely, fast, and both my food and drink were so damn good! Very beautiful cafe. The outdoor area looks very nice with a firepit. The drink was very good. It was my first time having saffron in adeni chai which was a nice change. The staff clean the areas well after each guest to maintain the beautiful space. read more

I really appreciate the workers here, it was very busy when i first came in around 5:15 but cleared out by 6. I was looking for a comfortable spot to hang out while I waited for my boyfriend to finish work, and this was great. The customer service was top-notch: I asked for a recommendation, and the server was very helpful. I ended up ordering the regular matcha, but it wasn't sweet enough for me. I asked the cashier if I could upgrade to the mango matcha, and they just offered to put some extra pumps in my current matcha, which I really appreciated. The matcha was really good, and matcha-y, unlike some places that are super stingy with adding matcha. I really appreciated it. Their presentation of the drinks and even the food I saw coming out were very intentional and somewhat fancy. This is a very calm place to study, the wifi is fast, and the drinks are very good. I really recommend and am excited to try their coffee when I come in the morning. read more

Handcrafted Yemeni coffee and easily the best quality I've had around here. 10/10 -- even my toughest coffee critic at home loved it ! The whole place was immaculate and clean and we will be back . Service was amazing as well !! read more
