Stumbled across this coffee shop while out at the Folsom Outlets with the family. My fiancee needed a pick me up. I was impressed by how large the space was. It definitely was once a clothing store that they transformed into a coffee shop with tables, couches, arcade games, board games and even a pool table. The vanilla latte was a hit. The server was super friendly. He brought us our drink once it was finished too. This spot is a nice getaway from the crowds of folks shopping. It doesn't feel like it's located inside of the outlets which is a major plus. We love shopping at the Folsom Outlets and having a cool place like this to drop in and relax and recharge is going to be a life saver. read more

The ambience is absolutely incredible!! I absolutely love it here and wish to come here much more often. Their ambience and relaxing atmosphere are very calming and friendly and their decorations are very intriguing. Don't get me started on their taiyaki! It is SO good, my favorites are definitely the Nutella one and the pizza one!!! They're high quality treats for a low price and are very delicious! Their iced green tea is even better and absolutely worth it!! It's extremely refreshing and light and pairs perfectly with their taiyaki! They have a lot of games and lounging areas and have jazz music that is there but not too loud! Very interesting place with very interesting aspects. Late Mouse in Folsom is such a fun and unique spot for families. It's a little tricky to find at first, but once you get there you realize it's a huge building with tons of games and activities for both kids and adults. My kids had so much to explore and it kept them entertained the whole time. I ordered a chai tea latte and it was amazing, honestly one of the best I've had in a while... which I was not expecting!! The service was a little slow for my friend who arrived after me, but it seemed like they might have been a bit understaffed at the time. The man who took our order was an absolute gem. He made great suggestions for the kids and really made us feel welcome. That kind of friendly service makes such a difference. Great addition to the outlets. Fun games and fun drinks for any age. I didn't realize the fast food court had shut down but I wasn't interested in the food truck offerings. I had one of the sodas from the secret lives menu and it was refreshing, not overly sweet. The service was very friendly and quick. Decor was cozy and throwback pop music was playing. I'm so glad I found this place! What a fun concept to be able to grab a coffee and a bite, and to just have the space to lounge around in a casual environment. The place is very spacious. And there's so much variety to the games available (both free and paid). Every time I'm there I feel like they've added more new things to do, which is great. On our most recent visit, they had another small vendor set up inside making flavored waffles. It was the perfect warm treat with my latte. My family of 6 easily spent 2 hours here, enjoying our afternoon for my son's birthday outing. My only gripe is I wish they were open even later. If you're going to name yourself "Late Mouse Coffee", then you better believe you'll get some raised eyebrows from the real night owls when you're closing at 7 most nights. read more

The barista was so impatient and nonchalant. Was not helpful about recommendations or informing about specialties. Store is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. I love the concept of having a drink and then access to fun games! Half of their store is like an arcade with claw machines, 8 ball, corn hole, and more. I got a Tuxedo Iced Mocha which was $8. It wasn't anything special, more on the sweet side and not strong either. This place is worth a visit if you want a spot to relax from the shopping to play games with friends or to entertain kids. People who work there are really nice and friendly! Tucked inside the Folsom premium outlets, late mouse is truly a hidden gem worth visiting. I ordered the ube matcha with oat milk. I can tell the matcha they use is quality grade, but the ube flavor is lacking for me. I suggest just ordering their regular matcha latte without extra flavors to really appreciate the taste on its own. Over all such a cool place to hang out with friendly staff and quality drinks! Such a cute place with an inviting aura right when you walk in. Very family friendly, perfect place to stop in the middle of shopping. Their barista Greg/Craig (sp?) was super sweet and pleasant. With the purchase of a drink, you can play the games they have available such as billiards, connect four, a basketball arcade game, corn hole, etc. This lounge has a variety of seating options. They have a fancy dining table with six seats, stools, and chairs for children. The matcha latte is pretty good. Their prices are about the same as other cafes. The staff is friendly. Off to the side (to the right) is a taiyaki stand (fish shaped pancake). Fun place to warm up or cool down. They have lots of games you can play in their space. They have pool for a price and other games. This place is adorable. You can sit down in two areas. Little tables and chairs or at a banquet table that is beautiful. It was a bit chilly inside so we opted for one of their tables outside. Inside and next to their coffee kiosk is a fish waffle place that has good waffles. We got the grilled cheese one for $6 and it was delicious. I was in desperate need of coffee while in Folsom and did realize that this coffee shop was in the outlet mall! First thing is this coffee shop is different than any I've been to before. It has lots activities and games like cornhole, ping pong and even two pool tables! Also they have a fall Gilmore girls menu!! I ordered the dragon fly inn! It was delicious and definitely did not make me jittery despite it having a quad shot! I appreciated the service and the ambiance was very fall themed and mouse themed which is neat! Matcha Latte with Oatmilk was so good! I didn't get any flavoring but they have a ton of fun matcha flavors. I also got a danish which was just ok, probably store bought. We didn't play any games but everything looked super fun and clean, we loved the vibes inside. They also sell cute little knick knacks from local vendors (some mouse themed). The workers were super nice and helpful since it was our first time. My friends also liked their drinks, they got mocktails and added red bull which was really good! Saw an IG post about this place and finally got to check it out when at the Folsom outlets! Their cafe isn't just like any small cafe where you just sit down and drink... this cafe has so much space that there's game everywhere such as pool, cornhole, ping pong, etc. There's even a little Taiyaki hut too which I thought was a nice addition. I've been hearing that their matcha drinks are really good and decided to try. I did have high expectations on the matcha since I'm an avid matcha drinker, but was a bit disappointed that I ordered a Small for $8 and I finished it in like 5 sips so felt like there was more ice than anything... I've always loved Late Mouse Coffee since its days as pop ups. I catch them on weekends at the Folsom outlets. Now we can enjoy their coffee every day, and in a super fun and spacious lounge. Speaking of, the new lounge is super clean and well organized. A perfect place to chill and hangout. I have a cappuccino and a white chocolate mocha for drink. It's an amazing cappuccino. Good espresso makes a big difference. And the white chocolate mocha is a great choice I you want something sweet. Perfect for the rainy weather too. There is a taiyaki booth in the lounge so I have to try it out~ I have red bean and Nutella as fillings. They are soft and chewy and sweet but not too sweet. Service is exceptional as always. Francesca gave me a tour of the new menu. It's not just coffee but also mocktails and sodas inspired by the show "secret life of Mormon wives". There's something for everyone. And Taven talked about his coffee craft. You can truly see the passion of the owners into this coffee business. I can see myself stopping by every time I'm in the area. Coffee truck that services Folsom and neighboring cities now has a brick-and-mortar location at Folsom Premium Outlets. Still soft opening (just opened this week) but don't let that deter you especially if you need a caffeine boost while shopping. I had an iced mocha with almond milk; pretty decent mocha I'd say! Very smooth espresso brew though if I wanted to be nit-picky, kinda heavy-handed on the chocolate syrup lol (so much that there was still some pool of it at the bottom after finishing the drink). The lobby is definitely on the noisier side so keep that in mind if you're trying to stop by to study or get work done. Late Mouse Coffee is my favorite place at the outlet mall! I've been here many times with groups of friends. The staff is so friendly and accommodating even if we have 25 people. There's plenty of space! It's fun to play the games like bean bags or ping pong. The coffee is quite good too. I usually get an iced americano but when it was cooler out, a hot latte hit the spot too. Besides meeting for friends just to chat, I've also hosted a vision board party and they supplied a large table for us to create our boards at. No restrooms inside but it's a short walk outside. There is some food available to purchase but no kitchen so you can bring your own snacks if you want to. read more

Fun place for kids with a kid area(magnitudes, blocks, and a big connect 4), more "adult" games such as ping pong, cornhole, checkers/chess, an a swinging ring game are all free. Arcade with a power bunch, pool table and basketball for a Buck to $2 a game. Any time we're in the area we come on buy especially if the little one is in tow. I love the idea of a late night coffee lounge and it's cool to see more late night options pop up. Service was quick and the person working the front was very personable. There appeared to be ample games to play, but I was there for the ube latte and match latte. Both were pretty standard. The ube had a good forward taste, more prevalent than other ube lattes, but unfortunately had a bit of a syrupy/artificial aftertaste that as both Filipino and avid coffee drinker that detracted from the enjoyment of the coffee. The matcha also had good forward taste, but something in there left a strange aftertaste similar to sugar free alternatives and that one was difficult to finish. read more
