I got the pumpkin cream cold brew and it was amazing!! Plus the baristas are the best and so sweet, they said if it wasn't sweet enough to just let them know and they would fix it on up for me. The vibes are great, relaxing and they have a wall with lots of games if you come with a group which is fun. I'll deff come back here to try the food next time, but the coffee is amazing, the people are even better and the space is welcoming. Love love love

We came here on Saturday after an appt. We decided to order the So-Cali burrito, a matcha latte and a regular hot latte. The food was delicious and so was the matcha. The ambience was also relaxing with several tables both inside and outside. We stayed for awhile going over some wedding planning things. We enjoyed the comfort of the place. However, this place only has 1 bathroom. And at one point a group of about 5 people came in lining up to use the restroom. While the cafe is large and busy, hopefully they create another restroom. Once we were about to leave, we saw a band getting started for possibly a night of live music. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, food and ambience.

Wonderful experience here in Folsom. Loved their welcoming attitude and the atmosphere was eclectic, funky and fun. Enjoyed my almond milk latte and their lemon Avo-toast was spectacular hope to return next time I am in the area...

Apparently Coffee Republic is a local gem of Folsom's that I wasn't previously aware of until now. I was next door with my girlfriend at Origin Tattoo for a session, and during our time there I decided to go next door and grab a drink for my and I. And I must say the vibe inside of Coffee Republic is much different than outside...In a good way. As I walked in from the patio area, I walked into what felt like a local neighborhood hangout, with warm & cozy type of vibe. Once in the front door you're immediately greeted with a large hand lettered chalkboard. That also notes that's the pickup area for your order as well. Coffee Republic was established in 1991 and in the last few years was purchased by new owners. Who apparently put a lot of time and effort into the inside area. It had the feel of the neighborhood hangout area, who want to just enjoy a nice Espresso drink over a friendly conversation. Coffee Republic has a nice setup of their order pickup area, which is nestled at the back corner of the front counter. And gives the opportunity for patrons to look over the various "CR" merch and whole beans to can get to go. It's of their merch area. Which is a nic I ended up ordering two vanilla Latte drinks to go; one hot and one iced.

This was a very welcoming hole in the wall place. It definitely feels like your in a home the vibe was awesome the staff was super nice. I ordered a sugar free raspberry white mocha so so good the flavors were delicious and I ordered a sandwich something road club. The sauce on the sandwich was delicious the bacon was crispy and over all just a great sandwich will definitely be coming again. My friend got tea and the turkey pesto sandwich The lines do get long but they do work fast to get through them I would definitely recommend. The only thing I'd say is that they don't have prices on the bake goods like brownies and cookies they arnt shown on their menus so you would have to ask the price.

Cute coffee shop with lots of outdoor and inside seating. Large coffee and food menu. I just grabbed a coffee but will come back to try the food it smells delicious. They also offer game nights and different events throughout the week. Give their socials a follow.

An amazing neighborhood coffee shop with a great coffee and food selection, but even better customer service. Ken and his staff are always courteous and friendly. Christy always remebers us anytime we go, no matter how long its been since our last visit. We've made this a must-go stop anytime we visit from the Bay area (its definitely worth the drive), which is a couple of times a month. The coffees are made to order and they know EXACTLY how to make it. It doesn't ever taste burnt or overly sweet. Perfect every single time!! The only way I can describe their sandwiches are HOLY OMFG good!!! Sorry for the lack of pictures but the food didn't last long enough for me to take a picture of. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cofffee Republic

I got an iced americano with heavy cream and it was delicious and was served quickly. The ambiance was pretty and the staff was friendly. I would definitely go back! For more recommendations- @CaviarMeetsCouture

Randomly saw this place when we picked a spot to eat lunch next door before driving again. They had outdoor seating and some seating indoors. Lots of plants and foliage giving it a more tranquil vibe. Staff was friendly and efficient. We ordered a latte and cold brew, both were really delicious! The ambiance was super cute and the food looked great, I plan to try it next time I'm in Folsom but I definitely recommend the coffee!

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. The room we sat in had a beautiful cherry tree draped in cherry blossoms as well as a cute neon sign, perfect for pics, as well as comfy chairs, a love seat and a table as well as a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. I'll have to try the cherry blossom and banana drinks in the future! They have private shared parking with a bunch of other businesses; I found a spot easily on a recent Saturday morning. Thank you!

If you are looking for wonderful pictures, wonderful ambience, then this place is totally worth the visit. However if you are looking to eat delicious food, then this place is definitely not it. Their crepes are premade and after visiting them 2 times, the only thing I think they are doing is reheating and serving them. First time we went in, we ordered the Ricotta Crepes. These came in looking beautiful but they were extremely hot on one side and cold (almost from a refrigerator) on other side. Clearly precooked & refrigerated but then microwaved and the whipped cream and fruit compote was added on top. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

It's a cute little coffee spot with a fun vibe and great music (Drake was playing!), although seating inside is very limited. There are a few outdoor seats as well. I ordered the Chef's Bowl, and because I love rice, they were kind enough to add an extra scoop of rice along with the potatoes, which I really appreciated. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. I'd definitely like to try it again on a weekday and hope my latte will be in a glassware and my Chef's bowl does not have bacon!

Still had to wait 30 minutes even with a reservation. The restaurant is very large and split into sections. We were seated at a tall table with tall chairs in the bar area. Not very comfortable if you plan to stay a bit and talk or enjoy your meal. The atmosphere was noisy and the more alcohol served, the louder it became. I'm not a morning drinker (don't drink at all anymore actually) but the sparkling wine and champagne menu was very impressive. Lots of choices and ways to flavor your beverage if you like it fruity. Mimosa House is the name of the place afterall and they offer about 30 different flavors. The menu is HUGE. An actual book of pages and pages of breakfast & brunch items. I must have changed my mind 100 times while trying to decide whether to have breakfast or lunch. Our waiter was nice enough and must have thought we were all OK enough for him to drop a few F-bombs while tending to our table. I wasn't offended but a few at our table commented on it. Everyone at our table chose breakfast items, from strawberry French toast to chorizo skillets. I was the odd one and had the Mimosa House Club ($22): It had the third layer of bread which no one takes time with anymore but the "house spread," a cream cheese layer they add was just not right. Lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon, sliced turkey, & shaved ham were good on the grilled sourdough but I wouldn't order again unless the cream cheese was removed. It was served with fries but I subbed a bowl of fresh fruit. Lots of vegetarian options and even the Kid's menu was decent. Some gluten-free options too. Parking can be hard. All street with nothing directly out front and handicapped spots nearby is sparse. No stairs or steps inside or outside but it is tight and cramped inside the restaurant. They have nice patio seating and I might have chosen that if I were the one making the reservation. Overall a nice place for breakfast & drinks.

The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.
