I had the Thai Chai Iced Tea and the Pink Vanilla Cold Foam was super delicious. The Actual Thai Chai Tea was just okay, it lacked flavor in my opinion. The cold foam helped it but I wouldn't order that specific drink again. Customer service was good.
came here to get some work done and it was pretty conducive. free wifi, water, and restroom. they only offer a few food items and pastries but a variety of drinks, even though most of the seasonal ones were unavailable the ube latte had good flavor but it was a bit too sweet, and I don't think it had espresso in it. the hazelnut latte was not nutty enough. the egg sandwich bun could be softer, but ingredients, especially the jam, were great. the ham & cheese croissant was good too, make sure to ask for it to be toasted!

The ambiance was also kind of messy and black-themed decor which made the inside a bit dark. The prices ranged from $6.50 and up which were quite a bit high for a small latte compared to other stand alone cafes that offer larger selections of lattes, brighter ambiance and friendlier customer service.
Stopped by Kingdom Coffee Roasters on a Monday morning and had a great first visit! I ordered two drinks and picked up two pastries. Their list of spring specials caught my eye, and the barista recommended the Sticky Mango Latte--I got mine with almond milk and made it decaf, which they were happy to accommodate. I also ordered a Mocha for my boyfriend and grabbed a chocolate croissant and a ham & cheese croissant, both sourced from Julian's Bakery nearby. The Sticky Mango Latte was definitely the highlight--it had the perfect balance of sweetness, with a rich mango flavor enhanced by the condensed milk. The croissants were also excellent--super flaky and buttery. The ham & cheese one had a deliciously crispy cheese crust, and the chocolate croissant featured a decadent, high-quality chocolate filling. The café itself has a relaxed atmosphere, with some people working inside, but it wasn't overly crowded. It's tucked away across from the Folsom Outlets, but I can see it becoming more popular as word spreads. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. I'll definitely be back to try more of their seasonal flavors--everything sounded so good! Maybe next time, I'll even bring my laptop and get some work done here. Highly recommend checking this spot out!
Cute coffee place in Folsom. It's on a little strip mall and there's lots of parking. It was comfortable and had a nice vibe for working. Service was friendly. I liked my toast with lox, a good choice. We weren't that excited about the coffee. Drip coffee wasn't great, my Americano was a bit better but maybe the roast just wasn't our taste. If I came back I'd probably try the pour over.
Was super excited about the summer menu! But the drinks we got were a bit mixed. My Papa Smurf latte was on the sweeter side, at least it was definitely blueberry flavor no doubt, but just wasn't getting any espresso at all. On the opposite side, my husband's miso caramel latte just tasted like a normal latte. I am still super interested in the two peanut butter summer drinks so I'd still be open to coming back and hopefully updating this review!!
Love this coffee roaster in Folsom. A must have before heading to shopping across the street. Service is great during every visit, friendly staff and good vibes~ I've tried a few things here so far. For food I got a smoked salmon plus avocado toast on my first visit. This is two items on the menu combined into one, which is so nice of the barista to make it for me. The combination is delicious I love it. For drinks, I really like: 1. Latte: it's creamy and perfectly steamed. Perfect when you want a sippy drink that can last long. 2. Cappuccino: strong but perfect ratio. They roast their own coffee and it's through this drink that the espresso notes shine through while really complimented by the milk. 3. Nitro cold brew: the nitro infusion makes it deceptively creamy which is so fun. 4. Cortado: very strong. For the times where you need a hit of energy but are too scared to go to straight up espresso. A little bitter as it should be but tasty~ The place is decent size with lots is seatings and a roasting facility in the corner. It's always so nice to sip coffee while there are roasting new beans. The decor is dark toned in a cool way~ Love the place and enjoy stopping by once in a while!

If I could only share one thing from here...PLEASE do yourself a favor and try their cinnamon roll. Holy Moses that is the best thing I've ever had. On top of that though the coffee is great, the baristas are incredibly friendly and the vibes are wonderful.

Great spot with lots of seating and outlets to get some work done! I came here on a Monday afternoon for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the matcha with added sweetness and it was good. They had a few specialty drinks in their menu which I think may stand out more. The staff there were super nice and friendly. One thing I noticed is it is a little dark inside but it didn't bother me.

This coffee shop is absolutely amazing and such a local vibe that brings a smile to my face every time I visit. Nestled in one of the many Folsom strip malls, this tiny shop packs a massive punch and they are serious about the bean. The coffee roasting happens in house and that's easily the best possible experience for coffee obsessed people like meself. I'm such a coffee nerd when it comes to roasting and I love seeing these massive roasters in house. The espresso shot was really clean, nice and strong, with just the right bitterness. Apple hill dirty chai is tremendously flavorful but without a ton of sugary sweetness. Staff are very friendly and they know their drinks and they move really fast. If I lived closer I'd be here 4 times a week. Love y'all. Mean it. read more
This is a small coffee shop I never knew was right across from the Outlets. It's small but has lots of seating, very smart use of space. I did hesitate for a second trying to figure out where the front counter was, but nothing crazy. I get a little anxious when I'm unsure where things begin. I ordered the Iced Pearl Latte, which was just okay for me. It tasted more like iced coffee with milk and didn't really stand out. That said, I did choose a very safe, basic option from the menu. The real winner was the egg sandwich, so good! Never had an egg sandwich with jam in it but I'm here for it. I was more hungry than anything, and it absolutely hit the spot. I probably didn't even need the coffee, but I'm a coffee addict, so here we are. Customer service was great. One employee started my coffee while another rang me up and made my sandwich, love that teamwork. Everything was brought to me, though I wouldn't have minded grabbing it myself since the shop is small. Overall, I'd come back and try something else. read more

I was in the area and needed a morning Bev, so I stopped by and it's a really nice coffee spot! Upon entering, I was a bit unsure if I was in the right place because it didn't have your typical coffee bean scent when walking in. I got a big whiff of some type of incense that was burning! So that caught me off guard, but it smelled nice. Service was nice. I ordered an iced Vanilla Oatmilk Latte, they didn't have soy milk unfortunately (my preference)- but it came out super quick and it was a really delicious latte! I'm glad I tried it out, would love to try out their other drinks and food whenever I'm back in the area. read more

I wanted to get some coffee while in the Folsom area and saw Kingdom Coffee Roasters was conveniently located off the freeway (near the outlets). They have a good selection of drinks/flavors at a price point that isn't as outrageous as some places in and around downtown Sac. I had a seasonal drink, the lavender latte. It was subtle in flavor, and I personally would have preferred a stronger taste of lavender. Nonetheless, it was a good cup of coffee! Service was welcoming and friendly. They have a good amount of seating and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stop by again. read more

Not too busy this afternoon around 12:30.This coffee shop is little past outlets (on opposite side) next to a hotel. My husband had a Cortado and I had Flat white with vanilla syrup. Fast and friendly service.Inside the coffee shop is clean,modern with quite a few tables.Outside a couple of tables.I was worried sitting outside(cigar place right next door)but smell wasn't too bad. We both enjoyed our coffees! read more

10/10 coffee I got an iced honey cinnamon latte with oat milk. It was delicious--way better than the trash coffee at Hilton Garden. We were the only customers at 8:00am on a Thursday and were served quickly. The only unfortunate piece was a homeless man posted up in the corner making the coffee house smell of cigarettes and other things. read more

Chill and cozy vibes with social white noise in the background. Makes me want to be productive here (.....by Yelp-reviewing on the spot :p). Had the Guatemala pour over. Its flavor notes were pretty subtle and it was decently smooth. Overall a solid pour over especially considering the price (only $4 here whereas it's easily $5+ elsewhere). Saw the gnarly cinnamon rolls in the display case and I just had to get one (I mean, I did have a dental checkup right before arriving here buuut.....). Surprised that it was essentially a croissant with whipped cream frosting lol (was hard to see it closely in the display case) but it was still great. Usually I don't really like soft croissants but it worked pretty well in this instance. Friendly and openly-chatty baristas. Plentiful lot parking. Overall a cool coffee spot to check out. It's right off of the highway 50 if you're passing through and right across from Folsom Premium Outlets if you need a kick start to your shopping spree. :p read more

If there's one thing to be said about the city of Folsom is that they definitely do not have a shortage of coffeeshops. Here you will find family-owned places such as "World Traveler", "Sociology", "Big Wave", and another place that I finally got to cross off my bucket list, "Kingdom Coffee Roasters". Located at Iron Point Rd. and adjacent to Folsom Blvd. (only minutes away from the "Folsom Premium Outlets", this place has been serving up delicious coffees/espressos & small bites since opening in 2017. I came here for the first time during the morning of Saturday 11/18/2023 at around 11:40am. Since it was a rainy day, I figure why not start the day with some hot beverages to warm me up. The interior is quite spacious with ample seating throughout. There is a large black wall with a signature gold crown logo that symbolizes their business. Additionally, there is an antique coffee grinder complete with large coffee bean bags (from around the world) that they use to grind for their coffee and espresso beverages. Since this was my first time coming here, I decided to keep it simple and place and order on their "White Mocha". I paired this up with a "Cheese Danish" and they were gracious enough to warm it up for me. Within just a couple minutes, my drink was ready as it was presented in a very nice black coffee mug with matching coaster. I've got to say, the black and gold them really pair up well here. As for my drink, it was bitter and delicious without being too overbearingly sweet. The Danish was also good but tasted too generic (like something you'd get at Starbucks). I will say that "Kingdom Coffee Roasters" is a decent above average place to grab a hot or iced coffee beverage while the interior is quiet enough to study/work. They do have limited hours through as they are closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00am-2:00pm. What makes this place convenient is that they are not too far from the Highway 50/Folsom Blvd. exit so if you're heading to Tahoe, its a great place to stop by along the way. My rating, an above average four stars. read more

This is my new favorite coffee shop in Folsom/El Dorado Hills. I recently discovered this wonderful coffee shop not too long ago and I'm hooked. It is located close to the Folsom Outlets with plenty of parking out front. I am always quickly greeted upon walking in and there's usually plenty of space to sit. Everything is clean and organized. I have stopped by on my own for coffee to-go, hung out with my baby and friends, and enjoyed just some good coffee and quiet time here. They have a huge variety of drinks to choose from by my favorite is their Brazil pour over. My husband loves their latte but I can't wait to come back I try more. They are open until 2pm most days and closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly. read more

It was a quieter morning at Kingdom today. I have been here when study groups have taken over and it's been pretty loud and overwhelming. Today was a few folks ordering and working with mild music and good temperature. I ordered my typical cold brew and added the egg sandwich this time. The gentleman before me ordered quite a bit so the staff was pretty focused on that for a while. It would have been nice to acknowledge the line waiting. But once I got up to the counter, everyone was efficient and friendly. This time, I noticed a dog bowl - which I would assume means they are dog friendly (although I've never seen one in here). I also noticed an addition of some refrigerated protein packs in the grab-and-go fridge which seems like a great, easy addition to help people out. read more
