If you are an avocado toast lover, stay away from the one offered here! I'd call it an arugula toast - because under a generous serving of arugula I found a thin layer of avocado paste - nothing close to mashed or sliced avocado. A Picture included. I guess arugula serves a purpose. Also, if you want poached eggs, extra charge (understandable), bacon - extra charge. Bacon were bacon crumbs/bits just lake from a bag found in Safeway isle. This is my honest opinion - way too expensive (everything added before tax and tip $18.99) for an average "avocado" toast

Ukrainian bakery offering authentic delights [Folsom CA] I ventured to Folsom to check out this European Cafe. Actually, it was after seeing the iG post from influencers, #thetasteduo, that made me want to visit. It was almost lunch time when I strolled in so I was more hungry for a starter. Valeria was kind enough to explain the different options. I decided on the Vareniki and chose the potato, bacon & sour cream filling (this was the most common version). It is usually served with Russian sour cream called smetana. So these are traditional Ukrainian Pierogi dumplings and came with 10-pcs. The homemade vareniki was flavorful and delicious. I also ordered the smoothie, they only offered one flavor which was the Harvest Greens. The cafe had three different dining sections and they each had different vibes which I thought was pretty cool! I look forward to returning to try the different desserts! Review #3981

Adorable little cafe in Folsom! They have coffee, desserts, pastries, and other items! I came for the viral fruit desserts (especially mango). In my honest opinion the dessert was expensive $18-23 each. The new trainee mentioned that they're made weekly and kept in the fridge. Uploading some pictures! We also had their hot chocolate and banana latte which was okay. We also tried their ricotta cream cheese crepes. We spent $75 for: Banana latte Hot coco Blueberry Mango Ricotta crepes Overall, won't be returning and it was okay to try. The mango was a half portion and extremely expensive. The puree inside was underwhelming. The blueberry was really good.

This cute cafe is a mixture of European and Ukrainian dishes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The decor was beautiful, very pink and several IG backgrounds. I thought the food prices were a bit expensive but the coffee drinks are on par with other coffee shops. I ordered the pistachio latte and really loved it. However the Avocado toast was just ok and my friends chicken crepes were ok. However the Ukrainian farmer cakes were unusual but tasty! If I was meeting some friends there are lots of spaces to enjoy a nice conversation. I would return.

Do not come here for a sandwich!!! $16.99 for a croissant sandwich that had one piece of bacon and not even enough chicken to cover the cheese. ridiculous.

Service was amazing and purposely came here searching for those viral fruit pastries. Both were amazing but the lemon was my favorite. Ended up having to take the mango to go but enjoyed at home. Hopefully I can try the others :)

Nice coffeeshop. From the exterior, one couldn't guess that this spot's got quite a few corners for colorful photo-ops. It was a quiet Friday morning when we arrived, which meant we had time to ask the lady at the counter about their sweet and savory offerings. We ordered lattes (regular and pistachio) and paired them with a breakfast croissant and a sour cherry tart. Good food, even greater java. It sure was fortuitous that we found such a gem located within a neighborhood Plaza in Folsom.

Viral Fruit Desserts, Variety of Pastries and Cakes, and Soft Drinks

I would like to start this off with how cute the shop is, I wish I had taken photos of it inside its pink and girly a long with plant decorations. They even have a rose wall to take aesthetic pictures of your pastries which I believe is an eye catcher. I was greeted by Valeria and we had a nice talk about the business and how they change their varieties of the Viral Fruit Pasteries once a week which I found was neat and exciting. I bought the Coffee Bean, Banana, and Acorn Pastry for $66.81. Coffee Bean: 9/10 It really does taste like very well graded coffee and the mousse inside is extremely light and delicious. It has a crunch on the outside which blends well with the rest of the textures. If you are a coffee fanatic this dessert is perfect for you Banana: 10/10 This was my favorite one out of all of them by far. Satisfying crunch on the outside along with bold banana flavor and even has some sort of soft yet semi dense pistachio bottom base. Absolutely loved this one. Acorn: 7/10 Not too much hazelnut flavoring which I don't mind I just was expecting more of a punch with the flavoring given how the other two were. Has a soft mousse on the top and crunchy shell on the bottom half. This mainly contains chocolate which was light and very appealing. If you are a big fan with laid back sweetness but a delicious light chocolate filling this one is mainly for you. Overall this cafe was an amazing experience with very kind people. Given the price it is expensive but all worth it. I would consider this a celebratory dessert for a loved one, friends, or family. I definitely will be coming back. Thank you Valeria and Nina for an incredible experience.

This cafe is soooo cute, great photo ops, friendly staff, pretty girly romantic flowery vibes, beautiful food... but the taste was eh and the cost was staggering. Glad we went but also wouldn't return because it was so expensive and we didn't care for what we tried compared to its cost. For example, the little cakes pictured were $12 each and were quite bland. We didn't finish any of the food.

Food and drinks are great, ambiance is great and Instagram worthy and owners are Ukrainian and the SWEETEST people you'll ever meet! Go and enjoy!

Avocado toasts, sour cherry dumplings, tea

Such a cute spot everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good. The avocado toasts were perfect, sour cherry dumplings were delicious and the presentation was honestly very nice. The overall vibe was just easy, cozy and the stuff was friendly. Definitely coming back!

one of the prettiest cafes I've seen! very cutesy vibes and spacious too with many tables and free wifi. they offer many specialty drinks and food, everything was a bit pricey but I like the vibes. the pistachio latte had a great nutty base but didn't really taste like pistachio. the breakfast sandwich was huge and great

Sitting inside looking outside. Chicken bacon croissant was DELICIOUS. Pictures only HALF of the sandwich.

AMAZING customer service! The owner is always so sweet and personable. She makes us smile and laugh every time we come in. Today we had the Chicken Bacon Croissant and it was so tasty. The croissant had bacon, chicken, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, your choice of cheese (Swiss) and mayo. We love the atmosphere here. There's beautiful flowers everywhere. A fun phone booth that my youngest daughter loves to play in. Lots of great opportunities for photos. We will definitely keep coming back for our special dates.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. The food, however, was outstanding and was definitely the highlight of the evening. Every dish we ordered was well-prepared and delicious. Service was a mixed experience. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

It's a cute little coffee spot with a fun vibe and great music (Drake was playing!), although seating inside is very limited. There are a few outdoor seats as well. I ordered the Chef's Bowl, and because I love rice, they were kind enough to add an extra scoop of rice along with the potatoes, which I really appreciated. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. I'd definitely like to try it again on a weekday and hope my latte will be in a glassware and my Chef's bowl does not have bacon!

Still had to wait 30 minutes even with a reservation. The restaurant is very large and split into sections. We were seated at a tall table with tall chairs in the bar area. Not very comfortable if you plan to stay a bit and talk or enjoy your meal. The atmosphere was noisy and the more alcohol served, the louder it became. I'm not a morning drinker (don't drink at all anymore actually) but the sparkling wine and champagne menu was very impressive. Lots of choices and ways to flavor your beverage if you like it fruity. Mimosa House is the name of the place afterall and they offer about 30 different flavors. The menu is HUGE. An actual book of pages and pages of breakfast & brunch items. I must have changed my mind 100 times while trying to decide whether to have breakfast or lunch. Our waiter was nice enough and must have thought we were all OK enough for him to drop a few F-bombs while tending to our table. I wasn't offended but a few at our table commented on it. Everyone at our table chose breakfast items, from strawberry French toast to chorizo skillets. I was the odd one and had the Mimosa House Club ($22): It had the third layer of bread which no one takes time with anymore but the "house spread," a cream cheese layer they add was just not right. Lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon, sliced turkey, & shaved ham were good on the grilled sourdough but I wouldn't order again unless the cream cheese was removed. It was served with fries but I subbed a bowl of fresh fruit. Lots of vegetarian options and even the Kid's menu was decent. Some gluten-free options too. Parking can be hard. All street with nothing directly out front and handicapped spots nearby is sparse. No stairs or steps inside or outside but it is tight and cramped inside the restaurant. They have nice patio seating and I might have chosen that if I were the one making the reservation. Overall a nice place for breakfast & drinks.

The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.
