What I can say is " I have found a nice place for my drink and cake !!" I will cone back again and again!
There aren't alot of dim sum options or Asian bakeries in Folsom. But there is a T&5 Cafe Bakery that fills the void. Yes, they have dim sum, baked pastries, cakes, and milk tea and coffee drinks. The cafe is stinking cute. It has a fun, whimsical princess look interior. Gold, chandeliers, gilded edges. Not gaudy. Customer service is awesome. The cashier was terrific and help me navigate the menu. I heard her explain , to other customers, what the dishes were made out of and help provide recommendations. She even told me that the lotus rice will take 15-20 minutes to prepare so I can decide to still purchase it. I appreciated her giving me that extra bit of info. I didn't mind and still ordered it. I knew it would take a bit longer, it's steamed versus microwaved. The menu is concise and not lengthy like a Tolstoy novel. For dim sum, they have sui mai, sticky rice in lotus leaf, egg custard, soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings... to name a few. But the food does contain MSG which most folks can eat without an issue and is typically in most Chinese food. They also have pre-packaged baked goodies. Cookies, baos, egg custards, cream puffs, croissants, taro buns, pork sung rolls, apple turnovers, donuts... to name a few. Pricing average $3. Similar to a panaderia, the ordering protocol for the packaged pastries is to grab a tray and tongs and self service loading up your tray; then going to the cashier to pay. Keep the tongs on your tray. The items name, ingredients and pricing are clearly marked. I went to town on the pastries since MSG was not an ingredient. My faves were the egg custards (more savory than sweet with a silky custard filling and rich, flaky crust), chocolate croissants, almond croissants. Wait a hot minute ... I have a lot of T5 pastry favorites... too many to count. Plus they sell whole cakes. Gorgeously decorated and light n airy cakes. The cafe has a couple of pub height tables inside and lots of two person tables outside under the awning. The cafe is set back from the street and nearby are gorgeous old growth majestic trees. Nice place to spend a lazy, late weekend morning enjoying a cup of Joe and pastries.
Walking into this shop was honestly a great first impression. The space is beautiful clean, bright, and everything is displayed so neatly. It actually reminded me of 85 Bakery, but more upscale. They offer dim sum, boba drinks, and a wide variety of pastries, so I was really excited to try a little bit of everything. On top of that, Linda was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, professional, and so attentive that I genuinely thought she might be the owner because of how well she carried herself and treated customers. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to how nice the place looked. We ordered several pastries, and most of them were disappointing. The hotdog bun had way too much bread and barely any hotdog, the coconut cream bread hardly had any cream at all, and everything tasted dry instead of soft and fresh. The shumai was actually really good, but it took about 20 minutes to come out, so this definitely isn't a spot if you're in a rush. I also ordered a matcha latte with oat milk at 50% sweetness, and the picture showed this vibrant green drink that I was excited for. When it came out, the color alone made me nervous. One sip in and it tasted like straight oat milk with sweetener...no matcha flavor at all. I usually finish my boba or specialty drinks, but this one ended up in the trash after a few sips. As much as I wanted to love this place, the quality of the pastries and the matcha just didn't do it for me. The two stars I'm giving are honestly because of Linda and her great customer service. Other than that, I'll probably stick to 85 Bakery.
November 29, 205 - Folsom, CA. We spent the morning on Sutter Street celebrating my birthday and browsing the shops. My husband really wanted to get me a birthday cake, so he searched on Yelp and found T&5 Cafe Bakery. A short drive later, we walked in--and wow, did they make my day! My husband mentioned it was my birthday, and we immediately got the royal treatment. Granny Kong helped us pick out the perfect cake, and the staff wrote my name on it, added a candle, and even sang Happy Birthday! We enjoyed our delicious fruit basket cake with some tasty teas and coffees in their cute shop, surrounded by displays of their beautiful cakes. It was such a sweet, memorable visit. As a side note--they specialize in all natural..no artificial flavors or preservatives. Highly recommend!
First off. The interior is nice. Colorful. Vibrant. It definitely feels decorated. The heat insulated bag they give you with the food is super cute. I didn't try the desert. I got a smoothie. Soup dumpling. Hargao and Siu mai. They were pretty average. Nothing really special about them. Being honest I couldn't tell much difference between them and frozen ones.
The best mango lava cake ever!! It's so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place for cakes! I wasn't a huge fan of the drinks or other pastries but the cakes are the best!
Stopped by on way back from Tahoe and found it has excellent dim sum, great pastries, and authentic boba tea as well. The lady serving us was super nice and patient. The sitting area is small but very nice. Definitely plan to stop by going forward.
This bakery has a wide selection of drinks, bake goods, and cakes. I like to come for their fruit teas as they are made with fresh fruits. I noticed they also have dim sum so I will try that next time I'm here. The cashier Viv was super nice, giving us recommendations on what to try. I am a huge fan of their cakes, especially their molten lava cakes. It may look small but it can serve at least 6 people.
This was our second visit. We stopped to get some refreshing drinks after a long drive and it was so worth it. We got one T9 Dirty Tea & T7 Purple Taro Coconut and omg- they are so freakin delicious and fresh! Yes the prices may be a bit up there, but everything is pricey nowadays and this was actually worth it. Our first visit we met the mama who owns it. She helped us pick a fresh strawberry cake for a small birthday get together. She was so sweet. This visit we also had amazing service from a kind staff member. I believe it is a Chinese (Cantonese speaking) family owned business. The bakery also has cute decor and chandeliers all about the place. It is a bit small and seating is a bit limited, but there are more seats outside accompanied by some pretty & real plants.
Discovered this place on yelp. Needed a last minute birthday cake. They were able to accommodate with amazing friendliness. Every interaction I had from call to order to pickup was so nice! The strawberry cream sponge cake was also amazing. Subtle.sweetness and tasty flavor. Every cake in the shop and also the one I got looked amazing. They also have tea and dim sum here. Thats for next time.
They made the cake for my elopement/wedding and it was very yummy, fruit inside was so refreshing, cake and frosting were perfectly balanced. They helped my mom decide what was best for travel, size and were very helpful overall. Thank you!! The did miss a letter in my name: Olivia was spelled "olvia" but this was a last second cake --as in 2 days notice. It worked out the letters they did use make my nickname "Liv" and the letter removed were the initials of my fiancé "O &A". Thank you!
truly a wonderful experience. not only is the food delicious, the atmosphere is stunning. the cakes are light and airy and the drinks are fresh with just the right amount of sugar. in addition to that, their customer service is wonderful. such a welcoming environment. hope to see this business continue to flourish.
We stopped by at 6:25 pm and just got in before they closed. They were out of regular boba but still had the mango and lychee popping boba so I was happy. They make a great mango boba. Yum! The owner was trying to sell her remaining pastries but we were just there for the drinks.

Every time I have came in their mango drinks were always the best to have whenever I'm in Folsom and I needed to get a pick me up so when I thought place would be the best to get a Thai tea from before heading into my movie, I thought how about this place. Although, I didn't check the time and saw that they were closing at six so I called around 545 and asked if they're able to stay in later so I can pay for my drink and I can order on the phone and the person on the phone with me said ' yeah I can stay back till 6:15' . AsI rushed over here, my time went up due to traffic and I let her know that and she said that 'as long as I get in before 6:20 it's gonna be ok' thankfully I got here at 6:18 and as soon as I got in, she handed me my drink, and as I paid for it, she offered me a custard on the house, and I happily took the custard. I told her that I was going to see a movie and that I needed something to drink before I saw the movie and she understood and listen to me as I was talking. Definitely would recommend going here! People are very accommodating to a situation, and like I said, they never disappointed with their drinks and I can't wait to try custard pastry! read more
This is their 2nd location! The first location is closer to Sacramento/Elk Grove. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She gave recommendations and answered all of our questions. T&5 has grab and go pastries, variety of drinks, cakes & even dim sum now! They have good deals for lunch specials. My favorite item they have is their cloud cakes!! They are in the fridge where you can grab a small container. They have different flavors depending on the day. My favorite is the honey yogurt. It's so light and fluffy! Not to sweet either. I honestly wish I had found T5 Cafe & Bakery sooner. This place is absolutely charming. The space is cozy and beautiful, with European-inspired decor and a subtle fairy-tale vibe that makes you want to slow down and remember of your dreams. It feels perfect for a tea party with young girls, gentle teenagers, or even a newly met couple looking for a quiet, comfortable place to talk with some romantic feeling in the air. They have everything, coffee, fruit drinks, milk tea, pastries, cakes... and everything just feels thoughtfully done. What impressed me the most is the quality of the drinks. They honestly use all real fruits, not powders like most milk tea places, and they are very generous in each cup. The drinks thus taste fresh, rich, and natural, not overly sweet or artificial. The prices are about $0-$3 higher than typical milk tea shops depending on which drink, but honestly they're on par with customized Starbucks drinks or fresh juice places like Jamba Juice, and the value here is way higher. You're getting real ingredients, better nutrition, actual fruit and vitamins, and better flavor overall. From my very Asian mom mindset, this is excellent value for the money. I'm already planning to come back as often as I can, and I'll definitely be treating my daughter's friends here. T5 Cafe & Bakery is one of those places you feel happy supporting, and once you go, you'll understand why. Oh, and they do take cake orders for birthdays. I won't have to go to Sacramento for cakes that are not loaded with sugar anymore. read more

T5 Bakery is a hidden gem. The setup reminded me a lot of Paris Baguette, but with better prices and some great deals (like buy one, get the second at a discount). They had a huge variety--full-sized cakes, cake slices, Japanese cheesecakes, plus both sweet and savory baked goods. They also offer tea, coffee, and actual food, so it's not just desserts. Everything looked really clean, organized, and well stocked, which I always appreciate. The owner was incredibly kind and personable, which made the experience even better. they also accept Apple Pay Highly recommend--definitely worth checking out. read more

We came to get information about their cakes for my daughter's birthday and the women were so kind and sweet, especially Granny Kong, what a sweet lady. The ambiance is also very cute. The food is also very good, and so many yummy snacks and cakes to chose from. We also got some drinks my husband got the Hawaiian and I got the s6 taro pomelo all very good. Growing up in Folsom it was rough to get anything other than American food. We were visiting our family and stumbled upon this Cantonese bakery that was very surprising to find! The ambiance is nice and the owners are very respectful! We got the B3 Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the S5 Mango Pomelo Sago. Both have a great base sweetness and flavor, especially the Mango Pomelo Sago. They do not use powder in their drinks, so there is no need to shake your drink, like other boba places. I would highly recommend for anyone that is in the area and wants a quality drink/baked item! read more
We love this shop! We've come a few times now and service is always FANTASTIC! So friendly. The shop keeper speaks Mandarin and a little Tagalog too, I was surprised. The shop is very clean and cute. They sell pastries and cakes, as well as a variety of milk tea, smoothie, espresso coffee, and coconut water beverages. Fresh fruit is often used in the drinks too. read more

T&5 Cafe and Bakery, Folsom, CA - November 29, 2025 We landed at T&5 Bakery to get some birthday cake to celebrate my wife's birthday with my two sons. Our hostess' name was Granny Kong. She was the sweetest lady from Hong Kong and she explained their commitment to only the freshest quality ingredients. When I told her we were picking out a birthday cake for my wife, she lit up and suggested we get the fruit basket cake - a light fluffy white cake with lots of whip cream frosting and delicious fruit, including kiwi, mango, peach, Rasberry, blackberry, grapes, and small pieces of chocolate. Decadent! It had a little medallion that said Happy Birthday and they wrote my wife's name on the cake and put a candle on it. We all sang happy birthday and watched my wife blow out the candle. We also enjoyed some coffee drinks with the cake. It was all very good! The ambiance is very modern and festive. The decor and lighting are inviting. They have a few tables where you can sit in groups of two and four. Thank you T&5! You were the icing on the cake for my wife's birthday! read more

I've just picked up this cake and it is the best Mango Mouse cake in town. The cakes are always consistently delicious, fresh, and beautifully made. I've been a loyal customer of this bakery for the past 6 years, first at the location on Center Parkway, Sacramento. When I heard they opened a new spot in Folsom, I was beyond excited . What truly sets this place apart is their services they provide. Every staff member at the Folsom location is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their warm hospitality makes me feel right at home every time I walk through the door. So, whether you're stopping in for a special occasion or just treating yourself, this bakery makes every visit a pleasant experience. I'm so happy to have them in Folsom! read more

T&5 is a place I'd ride to war for, amazing food, drinks and delicious sweets! The lovely workers provide great service and are very sweet. And it's always nice and clean and I love how there're lots of windows for sun to come through. 10/10 take yourself here for an unforgettable experience. This was our first time ordering a custom cake of this magnitude from T&5 Bakery, and we were absolutely blown away. The cake was stunning, so elegant and beautifully crafted that it instantly became the centerpiece of our celebration. My coworkers were so impressed; graduate teared up with joy when she saw it! Not only was the exterior perfection, but the inside was just as incredible. The cake was moist, the filling generously layered with fresh fruit, and the combination of chocolate mousse and strawberries was heavenly. Even with three solid layers, the cake held its shape beautifully, a true testament to the bakery's craftsmanship and quality. We are so thankful for the talented team at T&5 Bakery who always seem to know exactly what their clients want. A special shoutout to Mrs. Kong, who treats every customer like family and remembers us by name. I originally came in just to pick up a cake for my girlfriend, but I should've known better. One look at the display case and my "just one item" plan went right out the window. The baked goods here are consistently incredible, everything is fresh, perfectly sweetened, and honestly, a bit addictive. I ended up leaving with a bag full of extra treats because I couldn't resist. It is always a pleasure coming here; the quality is top-notch and the atmosphere is welcoming. Requested a Miffy birthday cake for my sister in law. Super cute. Strawberry flavor lava cake was wonderful. Not too sweet. Staff is so friendly and helpful. The decor is so cute and nice. When im unsure, Ms. Kong would help recommend something new. Definitely my go to spot to get birthday cake! All the boba options are great as well. T3 and t4 is a family favorite. read more

Such a lovely little cafe! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming to my friend and me -- she even pointed out that they had fresh pork buns and kindly heated one up for me, which was so appreciated.
