This cafe is such a gem for Folsom. The design of the space is so thoughtfully done, beautiful, aesthetic, and genuinely Instagram-worthy without feeling overdone. The food is delicious, and the chocolate croissant is amazing (even if the chocolate ends up all over your face, it's worth it). Don't waste your money!!!! Me and my sister tried this place for the first time today and honestly we should've left the minute they said it was $20 FOR 1 DESSERT! She ordered 2 small 12oz coffees (hazelnut latte and the raspberry latte) and 1 dessert for almost $40 and I ordered 1 dessert for almost $22 after tax! Both coffees were trash, the hazelnut one tasted like milk with a very small hint of hazelnut and no coffee. Her raspberry latte was just raspberry milk as well with no hint of coffee. She got the coffee bean dessert that did taste like coffee but also grainy in the center like they actually add real coffee grains to it. I got the banana dessert and it tasted like old over ripened bananas, I took one bite and that's all I needed to know it wasn't good. We should've known it was going to be bad when the cashier said it takes 4 days to make one dessert!!!! If you're looking for a place to take aesthetic photos with trash coffee and OVERPRICED desserts just to look good on TikTok or instagram then this is the place for you. Waaaaaaaaay overpriced. I don't know how you would even begin to justify charging $20 for a single dessert. None of their desserts are labeled with prices, (first clue to being expensive) but I wanted to try the coffee bean cake anyway because it sounded intriguing. For 20 bucks, it should be the size of a whole cake or at least have some gold on it or something! The taste and texture were decent enough but it really wasn't that special. I also got the potato and bacon dumplings, which were about $18, and they were nothing special either. It was a fairly small portion, could have actually used some salt, and it wasn't anything you couldn't get from the freezer section at the store. This place is just as pretty as I remember it when I first visited last year! It was nice and quiet this time around, since we came early on a Saturday morning. I originally wanted the strawberry float I saw on their Instagram but couldn't resist getting the pink raspberry latte again. It came in a pretty cup since we were planning to stay to eat. I ordered the cheese pancakes with condensed milk & fresh fruit topping. It only came with a few sliced strawberries though. They were very delicious and light and fluffy, but just too expensive for the portion ($12.99) so I probably wouldn't get them again. Great spot for a morning coffee and pastry though, or afternoon drink with one of their dessert options. There is tons of seating inside and outside. The sun hits it beautifully in the morning so it has a warm atmosphere. You can even rent out the place for events, and they have the cutest decor so you wouldn't even need to add much! read more

A Ukrainian-owned cafe located in the corner of a large strip mall in Folsom. Instagram photo shots at the ready here with all of the floral decor. Wouldn't say that it makes this place overly feminine though; there was a guy working on his laptop by himself here unbothered. Got some goodies from the display case! Honey cake: first time trying honey cake (the lady at the counter recommended it) and wow what a bold honey taste! There's a complexity of other flavors mixed into it as well that I couldn't quite figure out. Bothered me enough to make me search for a honey cake recipe online and turns out that in order to make honey cake the honey is first *caramelized.* Caramelized honey! And yes, it's as tasty as it sounds! The cake isn't wildly sweet, but you have to at least like honey to enjoy it (if this isn't implied already lol). This cake has spongy layers with some light cream in between them. Black currant tart: the custard on top is pretty tart lol. It's a tart tart! Very good but indulge in small bites. My favorite part of the whole tart is the shortbread base. Perfectly buttery with a crisp on the outer rim. Syrniki: a popular breakfast treat in Ukraine. It's mini pancakes made out of farmer's cheese (pressed cottage cheese). The pancakes are creamy with slight saltiness from the cheese. Pairs well with the sour cream and jam that came with them! So, any cons? Hmm.....service could've been friendlier. The lady at the counter seemed a little annoyed when I asked her a couple of questions. I asked her to explain the topping choices for the syrniki (my first time having syrniki) and what her favorite cake was in the display case (I was pretty indecisive and usually the person at the counter at a bakery/cafe is really happy when I ask them for personal recommendations.....the lady here though seemed like she wanted me to just finish my order and pay). Also, I kinda do agree with several reviewers in that the items here are a bit pricy. Prices weren't shown on the display case but I ended up paying $31 for the three items that I got.....so about $10 each, give or take. Can't remember the last time I paid that much per small item at a bakery/cafe. Overall still worth a visit! Decorated, spacious spot with tasty treats (though might want to bring a group and divide and conquer if you want to try different kinds while minimizing wallet damage). read more

The fist time I came here they had these mousse cakes which I fell in love with , they became my favorite, and then they stopped doing these , but they also got other unique desserts which is fantastic. Yes it's kind of pricey but I bet it is not that easy to make these . Me and my husband when we're ordering we met the owner lady and she was so nice and kind and served us very well.
