    Folsom Omelet

This is not my first time at a Mimosa House, but my first time at the Folsom location. The service was fine, cordial. My coffee was served from a thermal carafe, but was not hot, merely tepid. The server gladly brought me a new cup that was the complete opposite. Scorching hot! I ordered the Folsom omelet. Sadly, my eggs were so overcooked & covered with a load of cheese. I absolutely love cheese, but this was extreme. My country potatoes were bland and boring. For $20 this was a disappointing meal.

Hubby and I went for a ride on the motorcycle for breakfast. I had the Butterscotch bread pudding French toast and it was so yummy! Hubby had the Moms morning breakfast and he still can't stop talking about it. The service was great and the Mimosa was awesome too.

We like this location in Folsom due to the dining room being more spacious and booth tables. We felt in the mood for comfort food and that means the Shorty Loco moco and Celtic Skillet. Both dishes have short ribs with yummy brown gravy, choice of egg, hash browns or potatoes for the Celtic and rice with the loco moco. Service is always lightning quick with friendly and smiley servers. Very large menu with breakfast and lunch options that would satisfy a variety of cravings!

We celebrated Father's Day a day early with our son, his wife, her father, her grandfather, and our granddaughter. Servers were super attentive and friendly. Our granddaughter love red her z Mickey Mouse Pancake with sausage, and bacon. I had the Florentine Benny with crispy hash browns -delicious. My husband had the Cali Fish Tacos and loved them. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and their drinks.

This was the one with a hair in between the hash browns

The place and ambiance seemed good, chick and modern. Service was good. The reason I am giving 3 stars it is because my husband got a hair in between his hash browns and if I were him I would it have lost my appetite completely. They nicely changed it but I don't know...

Stopped by for breakfast with my bestie and her new boyfriend a couple of weekends ago. They have really transformed this space from Waffle Experience to a Mimosa House- mimosa house has a "look". Outside my friend said, "this doesn't look like a mimosa house" but once inside she said "yes this is definitely mimosa house !" The service was quick and we were seated and served promptly. Everything we ordered was delicious and I appreciated my coffee cup getting warmed up frequently during our brunch. There is a bar to the left when you enter and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

First time here. Walked in, not sure where I ran into the nice hostes, and she guided me back to the small hostel stand. I asked for a back corner seat where she took me with menue items.3 minutes go by and she brought water to my table. Review of the menu, all items look great! 12 minutes later, the server came over to take my order. He introduced himself as Tyler. Bar was filled with people (at firstI was going to sit therebut a woman'spursewas occupying the seat). There is outside seating, which one side was full when I was there. I ordered an Americano, but Tyler said the machine does not work . I went with the regular coffee. I then proceeded to order the Bacon and Eggs (scrambled soft) with Country Potatoes and one Pancake. Off David went to place the order. Coffee came back immediately, and coffee was very good and hot! About 17 minutes later, the food arrived. The food presentation was very appealing. Pancake was large and delicious and probably should put two of the syrup containers with the pancakes. Eggs were cooked as I requested. Home style Potatoes were very good. However, the bacon looked and tasted as if it's been sitting in a warmer all morning. Should have taken it out the warmer and put on the flat top to try to get some sense of crisp instead of the Soggy texture. Good bacon to serve such a waste. I ask for an original mimosa. Mimosa came right away. Mimosa was PERFECT. MImosa here is not in a Champagne Flute, but in a Wine Glass filled to the top You only need one!! Very chilled and can actually taste the even balance of Champagne and Orange Juice!!. The check arrived, which came to $42.56 plus $10 tip. Will probably be back with a friend(s) for an update.

My boyfriend and I ended up sitting at the bar. TJ was the bartender and he was amazing. He had good recommendations for both food and drinks. We also asked about what we should do after on this beautiful Saturday afternoon and he recommended paddle boarding. I love mimosa house and can't wait to come back for brunch!

Lots of seating inside and out!. Great friendly service. Their music, which they didn't realize was less than ok, because it played Hotel California, which is glorifying sex trafficking, so I asked them to change it. They learned something new and were happy to accommodate, by changing it. I ordered the Island crepes with a touch of chocolate sauce added. Rare when I can say that restaurant food can take me all the way to Heaven, however, I would have to say, it did!!! Compliments to the chef. Nicely done! :) Thank you for great service and doing what is right. :) Great overall experience! Would come back every time. :)

OMG, let me tell you this place is Epic!!!! Taylor was FANTASTIC!! She was so informative. She was able to explain all of the dishes which ones were best why she thought they were best about the flavors. She also helped me pick the most fantastic mimosa the strawberry mango.. She made our visit very very enjoyable. Her personality is like a shining star in this customer service world so I had to make sure to tell everyone how great this place is as well as her. .

    Prices

Holy moly. I should have probably asked before I ordered but highway robbery. Side bacon and 6 scrambled eggs. 40 bucks after a tip I really didn't feel good about giving. But I know its managements fault. Not the server.

Came on a Sunday around 1120 am. Place was super busy. Put our name on waiting list for 2 and walked around. Wait was about 30 minutes. Seated and ordered food- classic loco moco and omelet. Classic loco moco hamburger patties were dry in my opinion. Tasted okay. Will probably come back again.

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. The room we sat in had a beautiful cherry tree draped in cherry blossoms as well as a cute neon sign, perfect for pics, as well as comfy chairs, a love seat and a table as well as a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. I'll have to try the cherry blossom and banana drinks in the future! They have private shared parking with a bunch of other businesses; I found a spot easily on a recent Saturday morning. Thank you!

If you are looking for wonderful pictures, wonderful ambience, then this place is totally worth the visit. However if you are looking to eat delicious food, then this place is definitely not it. Their crepes are premade and after visiting them 2 times, the only thing I think they are doing is reheating and serving them. First time we went in, we ordered the Ricotta Crepes. These came in looking beautiful but they were extremely hot on one side and cold (almost from a refrigerator) on other side. Clearly precooked & refrigerated but then microwaved and the whipped cream and fruit compote was added on top. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

No worries since I wasn't in a hurry. The tea was fresh and tasty and my request for simple syrup was met without a blink of an eye. Unfortunately, it seems my order might have sat around for a while since the sandwich was almost cold by the time it reached me (not exactly what you want with a grilled cheese). The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.

Thankfully, their iced tea is brewed there (none of that awful machine iced tea!), and they serve it in a huge, oversized plastic cup.
