Great spot. It is a cute cafe with a nice ambience. The staff is very nice and gives great recommendations if I'm ever stuck between two options based on my preferences. The coffee is great and all the pastries plus food is made in house fresh. Would recommend to stop by here if you are in the area or for a quick stop to unwind on weekend with a nice cup of coffee. read more

This place has beautifully delicious coffee drinks and gorgeously tasty eats. I call it my PINK Cafe, the decor is lots of pink I personally love it! Pros:Ambiance is nice, facility is clean, location is good. We were impressed but... Cons: very expensive for what you get :-( We ordered one pastry, a sandwich and one small tea and paid over $27 :-(( Here's a pic of the Ham Croissant, even though we removed the ham, this is all that is needed n the sandwich- just the bread and egg, nothing else, no cheese, no tomatoes, no lettuce or any vegetables like maybe potatoes on the side, no sauce, etc. do $12.99, it's a bit overpriced. read more

Very kawaii / cute cafe in Folsom. It's perfect for instagram piccies. The decor is princess and pink, and it's just a whole vibe! I love that the whole place is adorable and still quite comfortable and super clean. Staff is friendly! The food is ok, the big star of the show was the dessert ! Wow, was a beautifully cute and delicious cafe and bakery. My husband and I wanted to try something new and refreshing and Chant'el Cafe was the perfect spot. We ordered two different chocolate pastries (Mozart Cake and the Hazelnut Cake) with peppermint tea. Absolutely divine treats and the peppermint tea hit the spot. The atmosphere and very instagram photo worthy scenes made this very place very fun! I would totally come back and try some of their savory food options! I can't wait to come back. I also recommend this place to family and friends. Customer service was great, the restrooms are so modern and the staff are extremely friendly. read more

If you're ever in the area and looking for something different I would definitely recommend coming here. Lady at the register was very friendly and and suggested these two drinks. Drinks: Raspberry latte fresh, and refreshing. S'mores hot cocoa with torched marshmallows. Sweet and rich definitely perfect for a cold day. Will come back to review the brunch menu! read more

My parents were visiting so we decided to check out the cafe since we have heard great things about it. Right when you walk in, the ambience is very inviting. The staff were very helpful in navigating the menu--we decided to order a few things to share. The espresso drinks and the syrniki were our favorite! They are homemade and brought back memories of visiting my grandmother in Ukraine. The cakes were also yummy--the raspberry was our favorite. The owner is very pleasant and ensured we had a great experience. Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

Beautiful entourage BUT service was not up to par. Arrived around 5:20 or so ( at least 30 mins before closing) and was asked to order to go. Mind you, people still eating inside, even a party in the back of the cafe... My son wanted to order a waffle and the lady said not available as it would take too long to make... a waffle? ?? We got coffee and I admit, it was really tasty, hats off to the barista guy, the pastries however were meh. I asked for a raspberry chocolate pie but when I opened my to go container, it was strawberry. And vanilla ..:Not a huge deal, just a bit misleading. The prices were steep for the quality of the pastries we tried, in my opinion. Overall, expected better of this place and wished staff was a bit more warm and welcoming. read more

What a wonderful place. Everything is amazing in here and it help me to remind me how special I am. Wonderful atmosphere and great tasting food. We were immediately welcomed once we stepped into this beautiful decorated cafe by Nina. She was friendly and such a joy to talk to. It was our fist time trying a local place that also served Ukrainian food and creative lattes. We ordered the syrniki (farmer cheese) pancakes, chicken and mushroom quiche, and pistachio latte. Food tasted amazing and the latte was delicious topped with shavings of pistachio nut but the bonus's was to see Nina creation of a bear she had camade with the foam. This was my second time visiting this place and I was extremely disappointing. I visited a few years back and It was ok, just had a latte, but this time we decided to try a few items on the menu. We had the avocado toast which was disgusting, it was repackaged avocado spread on one piece of toast that tasted like it was sitting on a shelf for a few weeks. The chicken croissant sandwich was ok but again the chicken was prepackaged and barely any chicken and full of mayo, that cost $17. If you are charging this much for a croissant sandwich I'm expecting some fresh chicken. We ask for water and they served the waster in flimsy plastic cups that is giving to you at the dentist office to rinse your mouth, again based on the style and price at this cafe you would need to use better water cups. All in all I would not recommend this place unless you just want to visit a fufu cafe to take pictures in. read more

I wanted to try their specialty orange coffee, but the taste was too strong for me and I couldn't drink it. I told the woman at the counter, and she replied, "I did mention it would be buttery." I asked if I could switch it for a hot tea instead, and she said, "Sorry, you'll have to pay for it." I ended up paying $9 for a coffee I couldn't drink, including tip, and received terrible service. The woman was very unfriendly, didn't smile, and acted like she was being forced to work. It was the worst service I've ever received. I absolutely do not recommend this place. read more

Oh no. So sad, this place had potential. We arrived just after 11am and waited in line to order. The bakery case has about six items in it. They offer a menu of croissants, avocado toast, two salads, oatmeal (from those cups), quiche, and that's about all. At the register we were informed of no croissants. Not just out of one kind, no croissants. Also no quiche. Offered the breakfast croissant but on bread. Gave it a whirl along with an iced raspberry pom tea. Friend asked what was on the avocado toast and went with that. Upon arrival it has some crispy somethings on top that were not disclosed about. Iced tea arrived not cold with five already melted ice cubes. Strike. My sandwich arrived.... open faced, bland, bread not toasted. $11 for mealy bread and some ham egg and cheese. When the woman delivered our other dish I asked if they had hot sauce and the woman turned back around and went inside. Another staff came out and said "She doesn't speak english, did someone have a question?" "Oh! Do you have hot sauce or Tabasco!" "No... we have ketchup?" You will surely fail with savory breakfast items and no hot sauce on hand. Sad. I ate the sandwich and was sad. Flavorless, mushy, uninteresting. The decor is cute, albeit cheap and girly. That's an experience some love, that's fine. I come for the food and customer service. Both were a huge miss today. read more

They have an assortment of pastries and desserts which was a nice addition. Loved the café's indoor and outdoor vibe. I ordered the honey lavender latte and enjoyed it. My daughter's iced vanilla latte also passed the teen approval test. Minor head-scratcher: I ordered my latte "for here" and still got a to-go cup. Now, the food. Oof. I'd strongly recommend sticking to baked goods (I didn't try them, but guessing that would be a better option) The avocado toast was a letdown. Imagine a teeny, paper-thin, cold piece of toast topped with a small smear of avocado that tasted more "packaged" than fresh, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, two lonely feta crumbles, and a sliced hard-boiled egg... served cold... on the side. It did come with a side salad, which felt like an apology. We also ordered a croissant sandwich (ham, Swiss, and scrambled eggs), which unfortunately did not sit well with my husband. The eggs tasted like they may have come from a carton. The staff was nice, but the service model was confusing. When I'm prompted to tip at checkout and there are tables and seating, I assume some level of table service. Instead, we picked up our own coffee, food, silverware, and napkins, and at the end, we also got the honor of bussing our own plates back to the counter. Full-circle dining experience. Bonus details: - They had one single packet of hot sauce left in the entire place - The salt shaker was completely solidified (we did ask for more, but the replacement had exactly one functioning hole) * And just to keep you on your toes, the front door pushes instead of pulls. A small thing, but somehow on-brand. Bottom line: Come here if you want a custom coffee. If you're hungry, manage expectations... or honestly, stick with good old Starbucks for consistency, fewer surprises, and doors that behave.

If I go back I'll probably end up trying something else. The shop itself was lovely. Clean and well maintained. The gal behind the counter was very nice and helped me carry my tray to where I was sitting as well.
