Extremely rude if they feel you've come too soon after placing an order, even if it's within the time frame the app gives you. They did it to be again today, app said 3-6 minutes, I got there at 4 and got to the window at 6. Barista was rude and said my drink wasn't ready yet so I waited. A few minutes later she handed me a cup with coffee dripping from all sides (still wet). It also tastes nothing like what I ordered so I assume they possibly intentionally messed it up. read more

I seem to be a creature of habit ordered a grande oat milk chia with a shot of decaf. I was in the drive-thru and the gal taking the order asks me if the chai is not decaf is that OK. I thought what a great thing to remind a customer, who ordered a decaf coffee shot. I do know that, but it was very thoughtful. I love a dirty chai. This location has everyone one needs. Plenty of indoor seating: community table, cozy chairs, bench and tables, as well as tables and chairs (high and low tops). Outdoor seating in front is nice in good weather, but right next to the drive-thru line. Staff is always busy, especially the drive-thru support, but always pleasant. I've seen them slammed with business on holiday mornings and they stay focused and help everyone. read more

On Sunday the 25th my boyfriend and I decided to stop by their drive-thru after attending our church service to grab a quick lunch. I ordered my go-to, my favorite custom drink! Ask for Mango Dragon Fruit Refresher, Kiwi Star Fruit Refresher and Strawberry Açai Refresher blended together. It's one of the most amazing drinks you'll ever have and not to mention it's hot pink! Seriously ask your local barista to make you this amazing custom blended drink and thank me later! I also ordered the Chicken Caprese Panini, one of my favorite sandwiches they make FYI! It's amazingly flavorful and on a nice toasted ciabatta bread! I would highly recommend this location and we will continue to visit when a craving comes! read more

Friendly service and good coffee BUT the place is dirty. The floor behind the counter, where the baristas work is a mess. The floor and wall of the little seating area needs to be sweeper and the wall has splashed coffee drinks on it - it looks like they've never been wiped off. ive been coming to this location consistently for the last 9 years and have never had an interaction so off putting that I felt the need to write a review like this. mostly the staff is super friendly, the folks here recognize me enough to even remember my order a lot of the time! today I came in and tried to order a turkey, provolone, & pesto sandwich by asking the girl (Alyssa), "can I please have a turkey and pesto sandwich?" she looked at me like I was stupid for several seconds and then snottily asked me, "what about it?" confused, I asked her if I could order one. she gave me another rude look and said "they're right in front of you". I looked down and realized they were in the case (which I had no way of knowing as I normally order at the drive thru), so I put it on the counter and slid it toward her and just said "okay". still looking at me like I was speaking something than other than clear English, she snapped, "well I don't know how I'm supposed to know you wanted one". At this point I was getting really annoyed at her rude face & tone, so I snapped back, "well, I didn't know I was supposed to read your mind and grab one. guess I will next time!" it was just bizarre and unnecessary. I'm autistic and have anxiety placing orders in general so I try to be very clear and i think she was too busy and just not paying attention, and then treated me like crap as a result. Apparently I'm that girl that has her meltdown in the Starbucks drive-thru over being laid off when offered my drink for free. They could tell I was having a rough day because it took me a while to decide if I wanted my drink extra-hot or iced. So, they gave me a free drink to spread goodwill and help my day get better. I started crying and through ugly tears explaining that this was so freaking sweet because it has been a rough couple days as I was laid off. A quick therapy session at the window with incredible words of encouragement and good-tidings and exclamations that we are all in this together and my faith in humanity is restored. Every day lately has felt emotionally heightened. There's no toilet paper unless you get to the store before the sun comes up. Out in public people side-eye each other wondering who is a carrier. People are stealing face masks and gloves from hospitals and elbowing each other over the last of the eggs... What made my experience even more positive today was when a fellow barista pointed out my kindness and how she recognized that I worked for Starbucks as well. At times it can be common that baristas from other locations understand how difficult it is to work behind the counter so they understand the delay and are always patient, so it's okay if they wait a little. Nice location with comfortable seating and actual multi stall bathrooms, so you're not stuck waiting a long time. The drive thru lines are long in the morning, as expected. Staff is nice and the drinks taste correct, so no complaints. Even though it's located on a corner, the parking lot entrance on Madison Ave is a little weird, cause you have to turn into the driveway of the office building before Starbucks, otherwise you're forced to turn right onto Fair Oaks and go onto a narrowish ramp. read more

This Starbucks used to be Arby's where my good friend Adam Ogus or even Marco Perez used to work here, but it's pretty convenient very quaint and seems, what's the word. Footballish, but overall its still the same place, where these legendary people have been through. And again Starbucks always bringing their fire design archecturally to the game. Don't pay attention to the other reviews. This is a return review to my past three star review for this Starbucks location. Many months ago when I started coming here this location was pretty new. The customer service was slow and the drinks were not made the best. As someone who is here nearly everyday for at least 3 hours a day to sometimes 5 ( I am here as I write this review). I can definitely say the team here has improved. TREMENDOUSLY. From customer service, to cleanliness and quality of the drinks. Sure there may be one or two things here and there but humans are not perfect. They will take care of it. Everything has improved greatly and has become one of my favorite Starbucks locations. There are a few other Starbucks locations less than a mile from my house and I still prefer to come here. read more

I visit several Starbucks establishments in the Sacramento area and understand they are a chain. Most of them are always busy, partially plagued by an overworked staff fulfilling online orders and long drive through lines. This particular location was very top of the line the first few months it opened (most likely there was a corporate or well sought after manager running it during that period.) Unfortunately, this location had really gone down hill. The last three times I paid them a visit, they have made my order wrong and the wait times have been ridiculous. It's not as bad as some other locations but seems to be getting progressively worse. The parking lot itself is a pain to deal with. I will say that the staff is usually pretty nice so that is a plus. Given the long wait time and mistakes on orders, I don't think I will be visiting again for about 6 months. A local coffe shop opening on the same block might be a good idea to keep these rascals in check. 2 stars for the friendly faces! read more

I have never written a review before so this may be long winded, but I love this location! Their drive through can sometimes take a while in the afternoons but mornings are usually quite quick, even with a high school nearby. The morning employees are very professional and very polite. I would like to give special recognition to an employee by the name of Aurora. She always goes above and beyond and I always leave in a better mood when she is the one to hand me my drink. To my surprise, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when the coffee beans I wanted were out of stock, and even helped me improve my home coffee with her expert advice. Maybe it is opening problems but for us this has gone on too long. We have used Starbucks all over the US and in several international locations. But this location has some chronic problems. They seem to be unable to deal with inventory problems - they are often out of key products. They have had a horrible record on a new product called Cold Brew Nitro - the machine is out of order more than it is in order. What this place seems to need is some competent management who can make the location as good as the other nearby locations. This one is handy for us because it is right down the street but without some changes we are less likely to use it. read more

We go here almost everyday, today we ordered online and went inside to grab our order. An $8 drink and a bagel. When I got there I asked for cream cheese as it was not an option on the app. The worker said she had the option for cream cheese "turned off" on the app. She told me I would need to buy the cream cheese. Seriously?!?? How about maybe owning up to your mistake and taking the 95 cent hit to your corporation. Won't be going to this location anymore for numerous reasons.
