Hello the manager of this Starbucks...your barristers need to be more careful making sure lids are security on. We all made mistakes, especially me...unfortunately Wednesday, about 8AM, I went through the drive through and as I was putting the Venti coffee into a cup holder the top came off dumping hot coffee on my leg and all over the floorboard of my truck. This has happened before, Starbuck's cup lids are a terrible design, McDonald's and Wendy's much better and safer design. I've been a long-time supporter of Starbucks--tipping generously through the pandemic, cheering on their union efforts, and spending plenty of money at their stores. On the way to Costco, my daughter ran in to use the restroom (it was an emergency), only to be met with an employee who rudely dismissed her and demanded she buy something first. A child. In distress. Instead of showing basic human decency, this employee decided to prioritize corporate policy over compassion. Mind you, we had already purchased Starbucks that morning. But I guess customer loyalty expires faster than their lattes. So, instead of spending another dime there, I bought an actual f***ing Italian espresso machine--because if I'm going to drink coffee, I'd rather support something that doesn't force kids into a pay-to-pee model. But, congrats, I guess? You lost a customer over a bathroom code and were able to exert your corporate policies over a child. Have fun writing dumb messages on every single cup, man. read more

First time visit to this location this morning was a positive one. It is quite early and most stores are expectedly not open yet on a Sunday morning. This location is spacious with seating indoors and out. The parking lots has enough room as there is a small mall around the next to this store. The layout inside is nice with a tables in various shapes and sizes. There is a space for most people's desired setting. There are a lot of widows including a wide one facing the south. It's rainy today but it is nice to have much light in the area. My iced green tea was as usual which is great for me. The Fruit & Cheese protein box made a nice breakfast. With so many supply chain issues these days, sometimes I have had protein boxes that are not fresh. This was was. Yummy! read more

Okay... It's no longer often that I leave a review for a place, as it truly seems great Customer Service is now a thing of the past. And now-a-days no one can be bothered anymore, as they're just there for the paycheck and the rest is not for them. UNTIL THIS MORNING!!! I went to Starbucks at 8027 Greenback Lane Citrus Heights, CA 95610!! Not only was the Customer Service Outstanding, my Mocha Was Truly The BEST I'VE HAD IN SEVERAL YEARS!! I was debating to not go to Starbucks anymore as the prices keep rising, yet the taste of their drinks Hot or Frappachino's (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) no longer tastes very good. Bought a cream Frappuccino because I can't have coffee at 2 in the afternoon and I've been trying to kick my coffee habit. Over a week without coffee. They put coffee in my drink and I didn't realize it until I'd drank a quarter of it. I am very mad right now. They had the nerve to tell me I'll have to come back to have it remade or get a refund instead of accepting they made a mistake a giving an apology. I don't even want to get it replaced. I just wanted to hear they understood the mistake and would make a change to try and ensure it doesn't happen again. Additionally, they said "it's like a one work difference so we can't tell the difference sometimes." Madeline is the one who said this rather than coming up a with a plan to discuss with their team on how to avoid this mistake. What if it was ordered for a child, or someone who can't have coffee. I try to be patient with this location but after countless mistakes along with this one, I'm starting to think the employees here can't even handle running a coffee car. read more

For breakfast I would recommend their flavorful Pumpkin Loaf Cake for the fall season, warm Chocolate Croissant and Bacon Gouda Breakfast Sandwich! Drink wise if you have a real sweet tooth try their Java Chip Frappuccino and ask the barista to sprinkle a little cinnamon on the whipped cream, trust me on this one! Their Strawberry Acai Refreshers are to die for, lightly caffeinated with green coffee for a nice pick me up, seriously I'm addicted! I don't know WHY I torture myself with this store!! I ordered the same thing I order every day-yes I spend WAY too much on coffee in this store to have to write ANOTHER Yelp review in this many days. Extra hot, venti, white mocha was just an extra hot, venti COFFEE today. There was NO MOCHA at all. I CERTAINLY don't buy that drink so I can taste the coffee!! When I arrived at the store, I noticed a sign; it just said they only had one Expresso machine and appreciated the public's patience. I'm not going to lie, I thought the store itself was closed and I was going to have to go through the drive-thru. The line was long because (IMO) people are lazy, so I ran in and grabbed my drink, which was ready and waiting on the counter. When I arrived home and took my first sip of my drink, I was so disappointed, it had NO flavor! I called and asked for the manager and Jessica advised me she is Supervisor on duty and could help me. It was hard to get her to pay attention, agree kept taking to people in the background. Between 12 - 6pm you can get a drink half off on the app only. She mentioned to the cashier whom clearly wasn't listening, that she had the special. Super great customer service , I was greeted by the whole staff as soon as I walked in and was told to have a good day by both employees who helped me, and the cashier even complimented my necklace, Which was nice for me, polite and simple. I order an iced matcha tea latte with oat milk and vanilla. The barista who made my drink did amazing, the matcha was well shaken up as someone who's worked at Starbucks before. Lovely, personable staff. In the area shopping, the weather began to warm quicker than I anticipated and my protein shake and I were no longer having a love affair. Enter....Starbucks! Eager to grab something cold and fragrant, I decided on the strawberry açaí refresher with light ice and a pumpkin loaf. The barista that took my order regrettably informed me she has just sold the last pumpkin loaf but offered a pumpkin cream cheese muffin as an alternative. Ever local to the pumpkin loaf, calorie donation crisis averted (I am sure my workout this morning thanked me!). When I arrived at the window I whipped out a gift card I just received and told the male barista, "I just received this card so I'm not sure what the value is. If it's a million bucks I'm quittin' my job?" He replied, "Sounds good, I'd like a 10% fee." We shared a laugh as he returned the gift card proudly announcing my .55 balance, confirming that yep as expected, retirement won't come soon. I didn't receive light ice as requested and drink was near 50% ice which was a bummer, but it was cold and the weather was continuing to creep up, so it was nice refresher, thus the name. I brought in a personal cup today as I always do at different locations. They always fill the cup and charge for a grande. It was my first time at this location. The rude associate filled my cup up halfway and told me that it was a 20 ounce cup, so it shouldn't be filled all the way. I go to Starbucks 4 times a week, I've never experienced this type of rudeness. When I asked her to fill it up more she put a drop of coffee in it. The restroom was very dirty both left and right and I had to to urinate bad so I layered it with toilet covers. This location is hit or miss. The coffee is usually really great, hot mochas are hot and the sweet drinks are sweet. We stopped going for awhile because of the dramatic staff changes (not so great on the customer side of things) but happy to be able to visit again and enjoy the well made drinks. read more

So while I understand Starbucks is always so busy, between the drive thru, mobile orders and people walking in, I've been standing here about 15 min, among other people waiting even longer, for my 2 hot tea drinks. Like I said, I understand how busy it is, but to be waiting this long with still no sign of my 2 hot teas being made yet.
