adding white chocolate to my drink and to my daughter's coffee she added white chocolate and hot chocolate packet.

I've been coming here since I was 15 years old and today is the first time the coffee was just nasty, so I drove back and ask the girl if she could please remake the coffee as it tasted wrong. She said yes of course and asked what was wrong and I told her it was bitter and tasted like Burt coffee. She proceeded to make me a new drink and stated she might have only put half of the white mocha powder and I said maybe that's it. When she handle the coffee to me I told her I never complained ever and that this is the first time and as they have awesome prices I work very hard for my money and she said well I've been on my feet all day making coffee maybe that's why. I just thanked her again and pulled away. I am a CNA and I had just come off an 18 hour shift on my feet walking over 17 miles, climbed 23 flights of stairs, standing for 20 hours of the day! I'm tired but that doesn't mean I'm going to treat my patients like crap. I guess I was just taken back by her a little bit and just the way she talked to me at the end made me feel like I was trash even asking to remake my order.

lowkey lil spot in the petco parking lot. it's a lil drive thru coffee thing which is very cool. nah but it was like 40 degrees at 8 in the morning. i was on the brink of hypothermia so im like hey let me look on yelp for some good coffee spots and i see that this is close to me. so im like shi ill give it a try to alleviate my hypothermia bc its cold as a mug. alr but i pull thru and was immediately greeted by the employee and she even asked how i was doing. very nice employee. ok but i ordered the hot white mocha 20oz and it was like $4 and some change which is a really good deal considering coffee prices be atrociously crazy nowadays. they were rly quick to make it as well which is a plus. but the white mocha had pretty good flavor tho. not the best i've had but still delicious man. man ion even order hot drinks like that but i was j cold asf lol. but their drinks are relatively affordable too which is coo. worth a try if ur in the area!

The drinks were good I have tried their iced hugs mocha , white chocolate, and infused Red Bull! Their coffee is good a just a tad bit watery for me nor strong for me but that's just me. I'll tell you the infused Red Bull ( Red Bull w cream) is very good! I don't remember the flavor we got because the sweet lady that works there helped us pick our flavor! She always gives you a stamp card and she's very sweet and helpful + patient! Will be coming back :)

    Yummy sounding specials!

"Holy faaaa that's good." -My first words after trying an Iced white mocha at Hot Java Cafe! I was so impressed I've been back a number of times. Unfortunately I have ONLY tried their iced white mochas, but they seem to have a lot of yummy drinks, especially the...specials! See my pic. I also love, and appreciate, that their "large" is actually LARGE!! It's sometimes hard to find coffee spots that have truly large drinks. And the price is definitely right!!! I think the large iced white mocha was about $5, which I find rather cheap. The large is even so big, I've actually been getting mediums. They are pretty fast too. I'm always shocked at how fast they are. The drive-thru is also so convenient. So far, I haven't gone wrong here! Now I just need to pull myself away from the iced white mochas and try something else!!

If it's an iced latte with the foam and espresso you want they got you..If it's the sweet chocolatey hot mocha with whipped cream and espresso they got you.If you just want chocolate and espresso and other yumminess together in a blender with ice they got you.. Everything is so fresh so good..The service here is awesome very friendly and it's super clean inside and even outside. If you get your coffee here be prepared for something that taste like heaven and a vacation all in one..You have to get a coffee soon anyways..give them a chance

Great Place for Coffee! Cheap with great Quality. Quality as in your white mocha will be made with the white chocolate powder instead of that super sweet syrup the larger franchises use. Baked goods are pretty good too, not the largest selection, but they have some good ones like bear claws, chocolate croissants, & monkey bread. If you are near Greenback stop in all the workers are friendly & it shows that they love their job. Shop small! & Support Locals

I'm a virgin. Well, I was. I'm talking peanut butter cold coffee. I had it for the first time in my life! Ever. This is also my first time here at the drive thru hot java cafe. Not disappointed at all. That peanut butter Sri k is so delicious. Coffee is intended and it's not just a hint of peanut butter but I say I can taste 30 percent of it in the drink. Nothing thick floating. Just the right consistency where you can sip they your straw. I came here to get a hot mocha. On a hot day? You may say. I'm out of Italian creamer, I don't want to get out of the car to get one. Hence, the lazy way. And, out of curiously, I thought why not try the peanut butter drink too. The hot mocha is very well made. Young lady, you awesome! Thank you for making the drinks perfect. I'll be back.

Hug : white chocolate dark chocolate iced mocha = smooth, flavorful, and sweet
    Nazanin T.

Based on my first time here, I tried the Hug which was a white chocolate dark chocolate mocha which was very sweet, but also very smooth and flavorful. The coffee in the iced mocha was not too strong, so next time I might get it with less syrups and sauce or add an extra shot of espresso as needed. The young lady was a knowledge barista who was was kind and respectful which I appreciate. She was also patient with my back and forth choices. She was able to suggest a couple popular options as well as her personal favorites. I can't wait to come back and try their other sweet drinks that are priced reasonably. I did go at an odd hour of the day so I was the only one in line, but I hope they do get the business they deserve. I would suggest that you try it out for yourself.

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

I came during a busy hour which wasn't idea but didn't affect anything in regard to the taste of what I got! Typically I like to find a spot that's quietly busy so if you're wanting to do the same I would try to come when it's less busy as I found myself slightly overstimulated by the business and seeing all the seats filled up which otherwise is a good sign! The Banana Dream Match caught my eye so I ordered it immediately along with an Avocado toast + egg ( extra cost). They give you a buzzer for the food and you have to find a corner to wait in that's out of the way and pick your food up by the kitchen. The vibe was very open and I liked the different seating options as well as the abundance of outlets. I ended up eating outside to get away from the busyness and the I was in the middle of talking when the taste of the Banana hit me. The best. Banana matcha I've ever had. Which I didn't expect because I've tried so many but what I loved most is that the banana flavor was sweet but tasted like real banana and the matcha flavor was still present. The banana flavor wasn't just at the top either it was top to bottom so every sip tasted the same making it soooo good!! The Avocado toast was good as well a little on the tangy side but I loved the egg. Great spot when it's less busy which would make parking easier as well but glad I stopped in to find my new favorite matcha spot.
