The space is small but not tight, and the traditional tattoo style mural and real motorcycle in the shop bring a curated vibe--the staff even had on Harley Davidson shirts. The service was excellent and the shop was very clean. The decaf lavender latte was good, but overall felt very muted--I didn't get a lot of espresso flavor, or lavender flavor which was strange. The divine order grilled cheese was delicious. The garlic was yummy, the cheese pulls were excellent, and the chicken was cubed nicely so it was well distributed in the sandwich. Popped into Fast Cat the other morning, looking forward to enjoying a late-morning espresso beverage and one of their gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. I had a hunch that the establishment was somehow related to Shift Coffee on El Camino in Sacramento, so I asked the barista when she took my order. Turns out, the two coffee/grilled cheese shops once shared an owner, but have since split. No matter; they each have cool, laid back motorcycle/race-car vibes...but MUCH more importantly, great coffee and grilled cheese varieties to satisfy even the most discerning sweet OR savory tastebuds. At Fast Cat Coffee, I opted for the Tuscan Garden grilled cheese, which featured scrambled eggs, spinach, garlic jack & sage white cheddar cheeses, and cremini mushrooms, all sandwiched between two amazingly crispy, buttery slices of toasted French bread. I also tried the superleggera which was a honey latte with a ton of flavor. I will get this drink again for sure. My husband and I came around 8:30am and parked in one of the many open spots in the parking lot. There was only one other customer ahead of us and plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and everything was made quickly. We ordered the Midtown Morning breakfast sandwich which was really good. My husband ordered a Vanilla Latte + Caramel, and I ordered the Bugatti Breve Latte. The Vanilla Caramel Latte was really good, we would definitely order it again. I also really liked the Bugatti, but my husband wasn't a fan, so I guess it's not for everyone. Overall, good food, good coffee, friendly staff, good atmosphere, easy parking. WOW! I was immediately blown away by the vintage charm of this coffee shop. They have a whole menu of coffee and a whole menu of gourmet grilled cheeses. I dropped in on a Saturday morning so it was a bit too early for me to eat a grilled cheese but their menu is intriguing so I will return for that. The staff is very friendly and I was so surprised at how amazing the coffee was. I ordered a Superleggera Espresso and steamed almond milk with sinner spice which is a combination of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cocoa powder and sweetened with honey. They offer a 16oz - (2 shots) or large (20oz - 4 shots). I do not like overly sweet coffee so this was absolutely perfect and the spice gave it a sweet kick. I've been here once after wanting to try a new coffee shop and not realizing this gem was near me! This is a cafe and a grilled cheese shop rolled into one that serves delicious food and drinks! The restaurant is beautiful inside, lots of seating and natural light pouring in, really friendly staff, and a large menu to look through. I came for brunch by myself and got the Midtown Morning sandwich and the Bugatti breve latte. Both were great, the latte was warm and flavorful. The sandwich was super filling and amazing. Perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and was great with hot sauce. I ended up eating half and taking half home it was a great size! But you'll also smell their grilled cheese sandwiches. Their tomato bisque is absolutely one of the best i've had. There's a little graininess to the consistency - like fresh parmesan, which made it memorable. When I first walked in I was greeted by the barista and I decided to order the Iced Bugatti Breve Latte & Custard Scone. I ordered the Bugatti because I notice on Yelp that it was popular and now I know why. The drink tasted amazing! It was the perfect amount of sweetness as well. Perfectly paired with my pastry. My boyfriend and I stopped by on Sunday for breakfast before 9 am. There were a bunch of people here already which was a great sign for the food/drinks. We were greeted by who I believe is the owner and she was extremely friendly! We ordered The Hog and Wake Up in Guanajuato. For coffee, I got the Superleggera with whole milk and my boyfriend got the Bugatti Breve Latte. The Hog was my favorite out of the two sandwiches. I really liked how all the different meats complimented each other while providing different flavors. I also loved the texture difference with having the cheese on the outside of the sandwich. The Wake Up in Guanajuato was a good sandwich too. I'd definitely recommend asking for the salsa on the side as we did. It kept the sandwich from getting soggy or wet. It just wasn't my favorite, I don't think a "breakfast" sandwich is my thing. Coffee was decent. When I asked if I could substitute the almond milk in the Superleggera with 2% I thought it was cool they could do half whole and half nonfat. I never thought of this before nor been given that option before, so I really appreciated that. To make it less complicated I just went with whole milk. The coffee was a tad bit on the watery side for me and didn't have a strong enough coffee/espresso taste, so that was a let down. Out of the two coffees, I'd say the Bugatti Breve Latte was the better one. It was more creamy and more flavor. Overall, really great service and good food! Also if you like the whole biker vibe, this place is perfect for you. It's really cool to see all the different artwork and pieces here. read more

Stopped in here from coffee and quick breakfast. Looking for a change from Starbucks and other chains. Was very pleasantly surprised. Coffee is Varnell's and was brewed very well (a lot of small places make it too weak for me). The food was the real winner. I had a breakfast sandwich with pulled pork that was amazing and surprisingly large. With tip coffee and sandwich came to just $22. Staff is friendly and upbeat, ambiance is chill. I was greeted right away and handed a menu I explained to the cook tattooed girl that I was gonna be a pain in the ass and not look at the menu and just tell her what I want. And what she gave me might have been the most delicious coffee contraption I ever did experience. It was a simple toffee nut latte and it was to die for. I really think there was crack in because as soon as I was done I wanted another. And now whenever I'm in that area I will be stopping at this rad place instead of my local Starbucks. Been a fast cat fan for a hot minute- good ambience, great grilled cheese. However, as of the last three visits the coffee brings a disappointment akin to stepping on a puddle while wearing socks. Either the machine is not correctly calibrated or the owners cease to care about their coffee aspect. If the latter is the case, that's fine. I was excited at the thought of breakfast grilled cheese. In the end. Turned out to be a breakfast sandwhich that was grilled. The staff was alright. They were super helpful, nor were they rude. They did lock the side door in the back since it would not close. I would have liked warning or notification if they were going to lock it. It was not like it was a hassle to return the trays up front Parking is horrific. Next door their is space, but it's for the apartments. So, you may have to walk if needed. It looks pretty busy, so maybe the coffee is another snacks are good. They do have grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Those might be good, so check it out and let me know. We won't be going back. Did really leave an imprint on our taste buds. The people dining in were nice, though Had a lot of nice conversations with them. Every customer overall was quite friendly. The ambiance was loud (house/tech music). Seemed like they purposely chose not to turn lights on (there is a difference between ambient lighting and lights turned off). I arrived around 8:30am and there was zero food in the cases (normal pasty items that are shown on their yelp page) and seemed like the only food item available on their menu was avocado toast. The gal at the counter looked like she was coming straight from a rave bender. First off the service was great! The worker greeted me warmly and I had no troubles ordering at all. They allowed me to make changes such as putting whole milk instead of almond milk in one of my drinks and for the salsa in one of my sandwiches to be put on the side. Secondly, I liked the ambiance of the place even if I'm not into motorcycles at all. It felt nice and cozy and not too overwhelming. There were lots of seats available inside and outside as well. For drinks, we got the superlegerra where whole milk was subbed for almond milk and the bugatti breve latte. Both were decent lattes, nothing really special that stuck out, a bit on the watery side but I should've maybe asked to remake it. Next time I'll come and give it another try. Lastly for sandwiches we got The Hog and Wake Up in Guanajuato. For me, I liked The Hog way more. The parmesan crusted bread was nicely toasted and had a great crunch to it and the flavors of all the meats and the cheeses in the sandwich complimented each other well. The Wake Up in Guanajuato was decent, I think there was too much going on in the sandwich and I couldn't really taste the pulled pork in there. It was a good sandwich, but I thought the other one we got was way better. Overall it is a good place to eat and I definitely want to come back and try more things on the menu, especially when it comes to the grilled cheeses. Perfectly grilled bread, melty mix of cheeses and toppings. Both were good with the tomato soup on the side. For my caffeine intake I went with the Grand Prix, very tasty coffee. It would have been better not in a paper cup. That was my only complaint, when dining in. It should be the default, but I'll be sure to ask for a real cup if I make it back there.
