When Madison Station closed during the pandemic, I was admittedly sad because I had been going there for years. They had the best oreo frozen yogurt around. But when Nours cafe opened up, I decided to give them a try and was disappointed. First off, the space is very pretty yet cozy. They have some cute photo op areas with lots of seating inside and a patio outside. They are also open late which is awesome. I love their book wall display. My favorite items so far are the biscoff lattes and the crepes (sweet and savory). They have a good variety on their menu (sandwiches, pastries, ice cream) so I'm looking forward to trying more. Nours is worth a visit if you're in the Carmichael area.
Was in the area and wanted to try a new cafe and Nour's Cafe did not disappoint!!! The Turkish coffee was sooooooo bold, rich and flavorful!! I got it with cardamom but you can also get it without if you're not into that spice. The Baklava was soooooooo fresh delicious, sweet and perfectly flaky!! The desserts here are to die for!! The service was also very great! The employees are super friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the cafe is soooooooo pretty and cute!! Definitely need to take my homegirls here for a lil sweet treat in a cute cafe!
Place is cute. Typical girly cafe vibes. Spacious with lots of open seating. Located in an odd plaza but that's my opinion so parking can be tricky as well. However, place is clean and inviting. We came here after seeing their instagram blow up. Their Turkish Coffee caught our attention and all their Dubai inspired chocolate items. We got two Turkish coffee and a Dubai chocolate inspired croissant to share. The Turkish coffee process presents a show. Pretty unique and cool. Not brewed your typical way. Always heard it's super strong, but my initial sip I didn't feel like it was as strong. Later on however, I think it creeped up on me lol. Vietnamese drip coffee is stronger in my opinion. It just tasted like any dark espresso, nutty and rich, but the ground coffee beans tend to subside from the brew and would created a thick residue at the bottom of the coffee cup. I had to constantly stir each sip. I'd give it a 6.5/10 for taste. My friend had to add creamer to hers. I just took it straight up. The croissant wasn't too pleasant, texture wise. You know when you microwave a croissant that's been out boarder line stale and it becomes chewy and tough when you warm it up, yea that! But the taste of the Dubai inspired chocolate made it taste good but the chocolate gets overwhelming. 7/10 I give it. Upon arrival, no greetings. We walked up and waited a short moment before someone came to assist. We ordered and seatedourselves. Somehow the party behind us got their Turkish coffeee before us although we ordered first. No biggie, ours came out after shortly. We were served the wrong croissant we had to correct them of our order. Customer service could use some improvements. English isn't the first language so there were some language barrier. All in all the conversations were fine but the service lacked a bit.
Ambiance is very girly. They have cute back drops with books, flowers and even a wall full of gold butterflies. The food is equally as wonderful. The ginger lemon Turkish tea surprised me. I thought I would need to sweetened it but it was sweet enough by itself. The crepe to flatbread and coffee was savory and bold. Loved all spices and flavor. Service was good but we came at a busy time so if you go, you may need to be a little patient. And if you have a larger party make sure to call ahead. It's a cute space and are able to accommodate but curtesy call ahead is appreciated.
Their food and drinks were very lackluster when my friends and I went. I've wanted to give them another try, but I have tried going again 3 separate times and each time they were closed despite their hours saying opened. I've tried calling before hand but they don't pick up. The first time I called they said they'd be opened the following day but when I arrived they were closed. Very disappointing.
As mentioned decor is unique, inviting, uplifting and delightful. Service takes awhile but is BEYOND worth the wait! Work of art, that cannot be rushed! Every bite, every drink flavorful, decadent, rich and satisfying! Drinks are special; each flavor comes through. Portion size huge. Only critique; hire someone to come in and do a deep clean; especially on furniture.
One year ago: We visited the establishment during the soft opening as the owners were working through the flow and process managing a new business and serving customers. Decor and atmosphere was inviting, soft music was playing in the background creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. Menu options ranged from salads to smoothies to desserts all priced at reasonable prices relative to portion size. There was plenty of seating inclusive of larger party sizes, which is always a plus. Parking spaces were available, no projected shortage of available parking access as the cafe is located in a shopping plaza. Overall rating a 4/5, only due to speed of service. This past week: New additions to the menu now inclusive of various savory pies and a larger selection of teas and desserts. This has definitely become a popular community gathering place for people from different backgrounds and cultures to come and enjoy a quick bite. Rating remains to be a 4/5 due to speed of service.
Very unique cafe! It's out in Carmichael on Madison and Manzanita, kind of a random location. The decor inside is really cute for some aesthetic pictures or a girls day! I would say the fluffy chairs are a bit used (kind of dirty) though. There's a good amount of seating for large or small groups. I've been twice and both times it was relatively quiet, so a good spot to work or study as well. They also have a book shelf of books you can borrow to read while you're there which is nice. **Their hours are not 5PM to 2AM? So disregard the times on yelp. I went in the afternoon around 2 both times. The food and drinks: they offer a wide variety of beverages such as coffee, matcha, tea and shakes. They also have a big strawberry infused water at the counter for free usage, which is great! They offer food items such as cake, mousse, waffles and crepes. What I've tried: -Oreo shake: very smoothly blended and great flavor -Matcha Affogato: I got pistachio ice cream which was a good mixture with the matcha. But, waaay too much ice cream for my preference. I wanted my ice cream to eventually melt into my hot drink, which didn't happen. The drink ended up being cold from the ice cream. -Waffles with Nutella, bananas, strawberries and whipped cream: freaking delicious. So dangerous to order because of how great it was, lol! -Vanilla lavender latte: YUM! I loved the balance of the vanilla and the lavender! Strawberry Matcha: perfect for when you're in a mood for a sweet treat. The strawberry puree was a nice touch. Black Currant and Raspberry Mousse Cake: yummy! Very decadent as a treat with your coffee.
In a nutshell; the treats were aesthetically pleasing and tasted good and really comfy place to have an afternoon coffee and the sort. To those that are night owls and are looking for a spot to enjoy a late-night coffee or dessert, "Nour's Cafe" will definitely have you covered. Ever since they opened in early spring-2023, this place has been very popular amongst the younger crowd that wish to converse and grab a drink or savory sweet to eat. To those of you that know this area already know this is where "Madison Station Cafe" once stood for many years. They are located in a strip mall directly at the corner of Madison Ave. and Manzanita Ave. in the suburbs of Sacramento. I came here during the night of 10/14/2023 at around 9:00pm. Parking is fairly easy to find as many of the neighboring businesses had already closed for the day. I will say that the interior has a very lively and well-lit look to it. I must say that the owners completely revamped the inside of this place to its full potential. You will notice pinkish-suede chairs as well as snow-white fuzzy chairs that go with marbled-style tables. There is also a backdrop wall showcases a floral arrangement as well as a cool LED light display with the business name. They also have a display case that shows their decadent desserts and also a very generous outdoor seating area for the warm Sacramento summer evenings. As I mentioned, this place is opened late and when I mean late, their hours of operation are from 5:00pm to 2:00am seven days a week. What makes Nour's Cafe unique is that their menu is heavily influenced from Eastern Europe and the Middle East; primarily Turkey, Lebanon, and Syria. Their drinks consist of Turkish Coffee, a variety of lattes, teas, and iced cold smoothies. Their food doesn't disappoint either as they offer desserts such as ice cream, cheesecake, Tiramisu, and Macaroons but also a few varieties of waffles, crepes, and salads. Since I didn't want to go too overboard, I went with a basic chocolate ice cream cone (for about $2.75) while my friend went with a caramel cheesecake (at around $7.99). Both items were brought out to us in just under 2 minutes. I will say that the staff here were very friendly, courteous, and accommodating as we felt very welcome. I think to have a late night hangout with sweet and savory items is just what is needed in this part of town. With that said and done, I am giving "Nour's Cafe" an above average four stars.
Yummy mousse cakes at this place, I have tried different spots and this one is not bad, I would wanted to see better glazing on cakes since some had missing it's beauty but didn't had an impact on taste. Smoothie was pretty refreshing and not sweet, just right for me. Service was good and place it's self pretty cute and a lot of tables to sit at.
I plan to visit again! but I want to leave a review for the first time that I came Nour is very warm and welcoming cafetière and she made sure we had everything we needed ..Her café has a very girly and cute aesthetic it's a great place for pictures since they have a giant window with good lighting. I ordered a tea and it was delicious and my son had ordered this drink that was a soda with cotton candy on top I forgot the name now, but it was a fun little hangout spot . read more

I only walked in to grab a couple of Dubai bars. So let's get it out of the way... Yes, I would pay $14 for another one. Parking is fine, area may be sketchy in later business hours. Layout was awkward but just walk straight from the door to the counter. Decor was cute with books and florals. I really wouldn't mind coming back with a friend over Turkish coffee and baklava. There were a couple of staff keeping busy and answering questions about the display case goodies. As for finally giving in to that hype, I have nothing to really compare it to. I'm honestly so sad that Nour's Cafe is closed It was one of those comfort spots you don't realize you're attached to until it's gone. The memories, the vibes, the food... it just won't be the same. And best service. End of an era. read more

Needed an afternoon pick-me-up before heading out on a drive, & I'm so glad I stopped here! Gorgeous, warm, inviting ambiance, helpful & kind employees, the food & drinks are both delicious & beautiful I ordered the pistachio latte, pistachio pomegranate Turkish delight, & the spinach mini bread (I was glad to see they had a few vegetarian options) & honestly it's all so. dang. good. The latte knocked my socks off, though I wish I would have had the option to get it in a to-go cup (but that's okay ) definitely coming here when I'm in town again! read more

What a cute cafe!! The interior and decor were so thoughtfully designed for the best photos anywhere you sit! I got the rose matcha and baklava. Rose matcha was good. It was my first time trying rose so it's very different than what I'm used to but the flavor was very good. The baklava is delicious! The service was so friendly and they answered all my questions about the menu and even provided me with their recommendations. read more

As soon as you enter this place everything looks cute and sweet. After you order only 2 latte and pistachio-Nutella crepe you will wait 30 minutes on dirty pink chairs and don't even get your latte. I was planning to spent at this place maximum 40 minutes, because I have other plans than waiting my order without trying it. Of course I left this place without arguing and making complaint. Because I'm trying to be a nice guy. I asked them remember me for next time, so I can try my order whenever I have more time. Almost month later I called this place to remind about myself and finally try my crepe and pick it up. Lady at the cashier received a request and gave me my order without waiting again. Unfortunately crepe has weird combination of taste: sweet, salty and oily. Overall i want to leave 1 star for poor service, weird taste of crepe and dirty pink chairs. But I leave 2 star, only because professional behavior of lady at the cashier. All other employees including owner has too work on a lot of things if they want to succeed in this business. Loved this place !!!! I go to a new cafe every Wednesday and Nour's cafe was the first one I went to , lots of seating options on top of the place being aesthetic , I had a pot of tea as I read my book , and I tried the avocado salad which was delicious , my food was brought to me in a cute tray,they stay open pretty late and that's convenient if you want to meet with someone or study , they had music playing but it wasn't too loud , I would recommend and can not wait to return . Came in here one day while I was charging the car at the other end of the parking lot. The ladies were very friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed or behind on orders. I wasn't behind anyone to order but still waited about ten more minutes just to receive my matcha affogato. I liked that you can pick your ice cream flavor in the affogato, so I picked the strawberry ice cream since I love matcha strawberry combos. The affogato came out in a pretty cup, but it was way too much ice cream compared to the matcha so I could barely taste the matcha at all. Also I thought it was pretty expensive since it's priced the same as all of the other matcha items at $7.99, compared to the coffee side of the menu that ranges from $6-7. I would still like to come back though so I can update my review and try something else! read more

I enjoyed my coffee . It did not take too long to get my coffee. The mousse cake was really tasty. The music was too loud. I found a place to work at for a bit. Later a large group came in and we're super LOUD. So I left but overall it was a pretty decent place. Would recommend for the younger & hip. read more

Ambiance is very loud, bright, hot inside, too much going on. I'm not one to enjoy something to eat whilst being in an overly crowded, overly active location. Friendly customer service, bathrooms were a little on the dirty side. It seems as though the place is a little run down since the opening, walls dirty, and ceiling has stains from leaks or stains. Very loud inside, too much happening and so bright and pink and lights like a bust is about to happen. The acai bowl was very sweet, too sweet for my tooth. The blackberries were actually very delicious. read more

Cute little spot for a nosh! We went on a Sunday morning because I wanted to try their açaí bowl after seeing someone on IG post about it. They also have crepes and waffles so I assumed they would be open in the morning....nope, not open til noon! But the ambience is pretty, the servers were nice and answered our questions. The açaí bowl did not disappoint...loaded with fresh fruit, cashews, almonds & a hit of peanut butter. It was delicious! The waffles with Nutella, strawberries & bananas were drowning in the Nutella, but still good. I tried to get a few pastries to go, but the cashier was super slow with a line of folks so we left without getting anything else. Now let me talk about the Dubai chocolate bar. We got one to split because it was $16 and I have to say that I don't understand what the fuss is all about. It's not that great...I think it was the texture I didn't care for mostly. I was also expecting more of a pistachio flavor I guess. So definitely a "tried it now I'm good" situation...lol! I'd definitely go back for the açaí bowl tho! read more

We came to this place with high expectations. However, we were unpleasantly surprised by the 4% fee for using a credit card, which they didn't even tell us until we looked at the receipt afterwards. Not to mention the high prices-- it was $21 for two items. There were two young guys running the place. They kept running back-and-forth to a red Mercedes outside, instead of making the orders that they had. This also caused me concern, because one of them was wearing gloves and did not change the gloves to make the food. It took approximately 20 minutes to get a crêpe and a piece of lemon cheesecake that was already sitting in the case, and just needed to be served. Also, the item that was labeled as a "lemon cheesecake" was actually just a regular lemon layer cake. And, the portion was very small for the high price. There is no posted menu. Just some sheets of paper inside of a paper protector taped to the counter. So, it is hard to know what you want in advance. They have a couple of photograph-able elements... like a flower wall and a water feature on one wall. But, it didn't seem very clean. They had various colored velvet chairs with stains on them. And the tables did not look wiped down. I had high hopes that we were going to like this place... but... I definitely do not recommend this place and I will not be back. read more
Nour's cafe was a great place to meet up and catch up with my girlfriend. There were 2 baristas working and serving. It was busy, but not crazy busy. The atmosphere is very feminine and beautiful. The vibe is like an elegant adult tea party venue! So many Instagram worthy photo ops. The bathroom was very clean, which says a lot about a business! I ordered the chicken flatbread and it was really big! Big enough to share! The seasoning was so delicious...9/10 for the flatbread pizza! I ordered the gold latte (forgot the exact name) and it was tasty. However, the gold was so messy! It gets everywhere so be prepared! Also, the latte was way too sweet for my taste. 5/10 for the latte but it was great for optics. Another thing to consider is the parking...it's horrible. The parking lot was completely full on a Saturday afternoon. Be prepared to park far and wear flats. One star off because the service was very slow. I'm not sure why, but it took forever for us to get our lattes and flatbread pizza. We placed our order at the counter and paid...then waited about 25 minutes for our order. Thankfully the scenery was nice so we used the time to talk/take pictures and catch up. I'll be back again...hopefully the kinks will be ironed out and the service will be quicker. read more

Excellent place for late night outing with friends or loved ones! Such a cool ambiance and fun place to eat yummy desserts. Ordered the Biscoff crepe with Vanilla Ice Cream and it was so yummy, definitely recommend and worth ordering again. The Nour Cafe Matcha was a little overboard on flavor for my taste but still good ( I ordered hot). The Dubai Bar was great super happy they had it! The service staff is always kind. It was pretty busy and had to wait to grab a seat. read more

This place looks cute, but it's not clean. It's not organized and we waited for a while to order already made pastries. When we entered, no one greeted us and we stood there for a while before somebody said something to us . when we entered it took long time for the person to take our order. Everything we ordered was already made in display and we didn't have them heat it because we took it home. I did not like that the person that took my order used her phone to pay for the order because when I asked for the receipt instead of giving me the phone to put my phone discreetly she had me say it out loud, and everybody can hear it but she put the wrong number and sent my receipt to someone else which made me very upset and mad. I didn't say anything to her, but I've left and will never come back to this place. It's not that clean. It's not that organized and the food does not taste that good. I told her I did not get the receipt and she replied to me to wait 10 minutes and I'll get it but I still did not get my receipt so I don't even know what I paid for and if they charge for using a credit card or not. And since there were no prices on the item that I ordered, I don't even know how much I paid for each thing this place was not welcoming. It was a disaster. And she lied to me because she said the receipt will take about 10 minutes, but I never got it. I don't like people lying to me. I will never come back place. Very bad experience. First time trying this place. Went with my daughter, niece, sister and mom who have different food and taste preferences. It was nice for them to put the tables together so that we can sit. Service was so good and staff were really friendly and helpful since we had so many questions regarding food. Ordered the Mezza tray, spinach pastry, flat breads, Dubai chocolate waffles, chocolate pistachio crepe, lotus biscoff latte hot, and orange tea. Everything was so good! Even though it's a small spot, it's very nice and cute and cozy. Also got the Dubai chocolate for home. They have a very wide variety of drinks, deserts and savory selections. Was worried about the coffee being too strong but it was perfect! They actually blend in 5 different varieties of coffee to make it so good! read more
