Everything is sooo delicious! We keep coming back again and again just for the dumplings -- they're amazing. The server is also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

Ordered a carrot cake for a birthday party - it was hands-down the most beautiful, tasty, elegant, most moist, bestest cake EVER!!!

We are regulars here for coffee and breakfast. When it came time for a big event cake, I knew right where to go! It was the best decision EVER!

Took to trusty yelp to find a coffee shop for my friend and I's monthly meet up. Was very excited to see this one was close to my house and close to her work. The photos we saw on Yelp all looked so good! Located on Fair Oaks it's easy to find, it has a parking lot but it was pretty full as they share it with the many other businesses. The inside is on the smaller side but I did really like how quaint it was. As much as I wanted too, I didn't order any food, just a coffee. They brew Temple coffee and I got the honey latte with almond milk. I'm not sure if they used actually honey or a syrup but it was very sweet. Next time I'll have to ask if they can do only half sweet. They have an incredibly appetizing pastry case and they had wonderful service!

What a gem! Located right off Arden/fair oaks blvd. If you're not paying attention, you may miss it. It is such a cute, quaint bakery, and they offer some really great breakfast items. I've heard they're known for their soups. I came in the morning and the staff was super pleasant and their coffee was delicious. They're not open on Sundays, but I will be back during the week for one of their lunchtime treats.

Great quality food and drinks and great service as well. I enjoyed my Armenian coffee and the Armenian sandwich was delicious as well. I also loved the napoleon. I would for sure come back and try other things. It is very clean and comfortable inside as well. Definitely check this place out if you haven't already.

I love this place. The owner is extremely friendly and so kind. I used to come here to work weekly and she would always encourage me to try her newest sweets/ drinks. We have great conversations and I love supporting a small business for her and her family. I like that they have the same tea as temple but wish the flavors would be replicated. The mini cheesecake are amazing and their other variety sweets are good. I have even had their savory crepes and some dishes to try. This place has everything!! The other workers are not as friendly, but I haven't had as many instances with them

Loved the blueberry scone: sweet, soft, buttery Enjoyed the Croissant: savory instead of sweet, perfectly baked Ice White Mocha: very sweet Perfect study spot with a few outlets on the wall. Service was great and the girls working there were very kind.

had a decent experience! arrived around 1:30pm. very quiet. plenty of seating which was nice. a little warm inside, but manageable. service was friendly. plenty of pastries displayed. decided to try their version of a ham/cheese croissant and a vietnamese coffee. about $12-13 for this purchase (fair price). ham/cheese croissant was ok. i think it would of tasted better if i had came in the morning? coffee was great though! only downside was the straw not being long enough to mix the condensed milk on the bottom :( overall an ok experience.

Our first time here was wonderful! Quaint family owned, and run bakery near my daughter's neighborhood. Clean and quiet environment. Service was prompt and polite. But, most importantly, everything we had was delicious. Have tried the almond croissant, ham and cheese, croissant, and their house coffee. Everything was spot on and delicious. I'm definitely going back to try some of their other items.

We ordered the pumpkin cheesecake and the highlight was the pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate croissant. We also ordered the avocado crepes end. It was nice to have vegetarian options that were healthy. The pumpkin cheesecake was out if the world and I'm not a pumpkin fan or a cheesecake fan normally. The team was super friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order.

I went here early in the morning on June 22nd, had to be about 9-10am.. I got some 4 rounded cheesecakes for my boyfriend's birthday. They were not fresh, very gross to my tasting, the strawberry on top had a rubber texture and the cakes were thick in texture... I believe I spent about $40 for 4 of them.. ridiculous price for something that's not so fresh.. I just let my bf take pics with them but we could not eat them because they weren't good at all, they were just present because of the thought and just there for looks..

So, we thought we've made a mistake and was about to leave, then one of the waitresses told us that they served breakfast and handed us a menu. The menu was very limited and overpriced! I ordered the lemon buttermilk pancakes with potatoes for $14!!! The menu stated 3 fluffy pancakes with housemade lemon curd with strawberries. What I got was 3 small thinly made pancakes with a tiny serving of lemon curd on the side. If you're going to serve me pancakes, I expect them to be huge and thick for that price! That one tiny strawberry I've got on top of my pancakes was a sad little touch. I expected a few strawberries like the menu stated and only got one! That was not worth my money! The inside has plenty of seating since of the chairs do not match, I'm not sure if that's the look they were going for. Our food arrives and my biscuits are hard as a rock, the gravy is hot.. my eggs are not cooked poached and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I said something to my waitress about the hard biscuit and she apologized and walked off. I was a little confused? I finish eating my bacon and my non poached eggs. At this point I was waiting on my bill and ready to leave. The waitress comes back with the check and had the audacity to say, did you not like your biscuits abs gravy? Like, lady I told you the biscuits were hard as a rock I even hit them with my fork. She apologized again and said, she forgot I said they were hard. She asked me to give her a few minutes. She came back and asked if I wanted them remade I said, no and just wanted to pay my bill. This experience put a bad taste in my mouth. I still paid full price for my breakfast even though I didn't eat the biscuits. Oh well! Their prices are great, but that's about all. I probably won't be back. There are too many breakfast restaurants to receive subpar service.

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.

Ugh, I hate giving this place three stars…read more I've been here a few times over the years and have always come back thinking I'd give it another chance. I met a couple of friends after work today and realized I hadn't been here in a few years. The restaurant wasn't very busy when I arrived. My friends had already ordered, and it still took about 15 minutes before anyone came over to our table. We wanted to switch to a lower table, and the server seemed confused by the request even though we only moved two tables away. I had to ask for a menu and ask for water. My friends requested more wasabi and soy sauce, but it never arrived, even after their next rolls came out. The server disappeared so quickly they didn't have a chance to remind them, and one of my friends eventually had to get up and track someone down. On the positive side, I ordered the blue cheese and potato pizza, and it was actually pretty good. What struck me most was that the servers all looked like they hated being there. It's unfortunate because this place has a beautiful building, a great menu, and an excellent beer selection. Unfortunately, I've never felt the service matched the rest of the experience. Will I be back? Maybe. But I won't be rushing back. Eating out is expensive these days, and I'd rather support places where I don't feel like I'm inconveniencing the staff simply by being there.

This time started off a little rough, but in the end they made it right, which is why I'm writing this review. I placed a to-go order for steak, shrimp, and chicken fajitas. The order was repeated back to me correctly when I called it in. When I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff was clearly focused on serving the diners inside first, so my order took about an extra 25 minutes. Not ideal, but understandable given how packed the restaurant was. Unfortunately, when we got home and opened the bag, the fajitas only contained steak -- there was no chicken or shrimp included. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager to explain what happened. At first there was some back-and-forth about possible solutions, including bringing the food back or only replacing part of the order. My husband had already started eating because he was hungry, so returning the food wasn't really practical. To the manager's credit, she took the situation seriously and actually called the owner at home to explain what had happened. Shortly afterward she called me back and let me know the owner approved remaking the entire order correctly at no additional cost. That completely changed the experience. For me, good customer service isn't about the money -- it's about making things right when a mistake happens. Once they stepped in and corrected the situation, it showed they value their customers and their reputation. Mistakes happen at every restaurant, especially when things are busy. What matters is how a business responds. Cantina Azteca ultimately did the right thing, and because of that we will absolutely continue to come back. Thank you to the manager and owner for making it right.
