I don't remember the name of the dish I got - but it was meat (I chose BBQ brisket), potatoes, and an egg on top.

Our server was helpful and insightful for assisting in selecting the best entrees to our taste buds. The meal arrived within 12 minutes. Not only was the food fresh and hot, but it was also super tasty & delicious. I could write all day about this, but to summon it up in one sentence, the flavor just melted and exploded in my mouth with every bite. As mentioned before the food is excellent, however, it may not satisfy bigger appetites. Their patio area is really cute, and they have plenty of seating both outside and inside. The only downside was the service. It took us over 15 minutes just to place our drink order, and then it took a while for our drinks to come out. Since it was a warmer day, it would've been nice to have water on the table right away. I actually received my food before I even got my water or the drink I ordered, which was a little disappointing. The good thing is once we finally placed our food order, it came out really fast! I ordered the Mexican Skillet, which comes with eggs, chicken chorizo, onions, peppers, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, tater tots, and a tortilla. It was really good! The only thing I felt it was missing was salsa. I think having salsa on top or even on the side would have made this dish even better and added that extra flavor it needed. We also tried the Chicken and Waffles, which came with southern fried chicken, pork sausage country gravy, a Belgian waffle, pecan butter, and maple syrup. The waffle was delicious, and the pork sausage gravy had a really good flavor. The portion was also very generous. I was only able to eat about half of my meal. Overall, the food was good, and the restaurant itself is really cute. The patio is a great spot to sit, especially on a nice day. However, the service was the biggest downside of our visit. Even after finishing our food, it took a while for our server to check on us. After getting our check, we also waited quite a bit for our to go boxes and eventually decided to just ask for them at the front because we had been waiting so long. The restaurant wasn't packed, so I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but I do think it's something to keep in mind if you're coming here. If you're not in a rush and want to enjoy a slower brunch, it could be a nice spot. The food was good, but because of the service, I'm not sure if I would come back.

You go up to the counter to tell the waitress that you're there and then she told us to take any seat and brought us menus later. The the place is small and the only I don't know a few tables on one side but there's another long row of tables to the right of the counter. There's a secret menu with the QR code to get other items to order. I start out with a hot chocolate with no whip cream and they used a frother so that was nice. So after looking over the menu we finally ordered my wife got the waffles and then she added soft scrambled eggs and hash browns. The waffle came out cold or not cold actually warm the eggs were overcooked and definitely the hash browns were burned. I ordered the kitchen sink with steak and I asked her to do it medium rare the kitchen sink was really good and the steak was cooked perfectly I really liked it. I also got an order of french toast but it came out and it wasn't warm it was only warm but the fruit was really fresh it had didn't lacked flavor We were very disappointed since we saw this on the internet and thought it was going to be really good. The couple behind us had chickens and waffle and their waffle wasn't cooked thoroughly and the chicken was raw and she thought it was frozen so they returned their food I didn't bother returning any of our items I later heard from the waitress that the restaurant was closing. I asked her what was going on and she said that they just got informed Friday that the restaurant was closing Sunday which was tomorrow for good the rent was raised $3,000 more a month and the chef couldn't owner couldn't afford that and told him on Friday that they're closing Sunday so pretty disappointing it could have been or was I supposedly a good place but now because of the price they're not going to

The lighting and aesthetic definitely give "IG-friendly." I ordered the fried rice and... wow. It tasted just like my mom's fried rice back at home -- literally had a Ratatouille moment where the food takes you back to childhood. The only weird part is the location. It's kind of in an awkward spot, and the bathroom is on the other side of the building, which is annoying when you're with a big group. Service was okay -- nothing bad, just not super attentive. Overall, I'd come back for the photo ops and that nostalgic fried rice.

They are not friendly and take a long time to come back to your table. Beware if you sit outside. There are flies everywhere, and even with the restaurant's fly deterrents, they constantly landed on our food and even ended up dead in our drinks. It made the meal very unpleasant. So not only do you have to fight off flies now you have to make sure to hit your hands on their fly deterrent. If you want to sit inside you will have to deal with the loud people drinking at the bar. We thought that we would try one more time but after tonight we see that nothing has changed. We won't be returning. There are plenty of other restaurants in town that offer better food, service, and an overall better dining experience.

Service: a bit chaotic. We were warned that wait time for our food after waiting in line and ordering would be 35 min. Half our party got their food 15 min after the other half. Same went for our dessert. The Food: Every item is excellent and made with fresh ingredients and flavors. High quality and very impressive. The desserts are not to be skipped! Hot honey pizza, the salads, the tiramisu, and Tahitian vanilla lemonade - highly recommended! Pro Tip: order your dessert with your meal so you're not waiting in between.

We came because I wanted the happy hour margarita pizza for $15 and arrived barely before 5 o'clock, but I was waiting in line until about five after, but they still honored the deal which was really sweet. You order at the counter and then sit down with your number and they deliver it to you. Fresh and cool inviting inside and if it wasn't so hot I would really love sitting outside. Chicken salad was huge and my dining partner absolutely loved it. I am just a fiend for the margarita pizza that's cooked in the pizza oven and has fresh basil and fresh Sacramento tomatoes. Next time I come, I'm going to have to order the prosciutto and peach pizza and maybe even have some hot honey on it. That sounded so good to me.

I'm torn how to rate this bc some parts were really good, others ok and some just not good. So let…read moreme try it by pros and cons. Pros: The place seemed very clean. The staff were very kinda, helpful and friendly. Someone on staff was thoughtful enough to stock the bathroom as follows: tampons, pads, leak pads, diapers for babies and breast leak pads for those who nurse. This was 10/10 kind and classy. I also loved the bathroom sign which has man, woman, handicap or alien, who cares just wash your hands. This is the attitude we need everywhere. The had as much of a beer and wine collection as I would expect in a small place and the waiter even offered to change my wine if I didn't like it. My food: garlic shrimp (app) was solidly good not amazing but nothing to complain about, ricotta with balsamic drizzle and garlic bread (app) also solidly good, the ricotta was whipped to smooth and the garlic bread was some of the best bread I have had since moving to Sacramento finally bread that didn't taste like sourdough the only part that wasn't good was there was too much balsamic and it was a little bitter but still good. My husband had the cottage pie which he liked but said I wouldn't bc the mushrooms are very prominent. So if you don't mind mushrooms you should like it. He said it was very good. We didn't have dessert bc we were too full. Also the stars hanging from the ceiling were cute The cons: Someone else mentioned it but it does feel a bit like white table cloth cafeteria. Not sure that ruins the experience as it was still comfortable. The booth we sat it was made of comfortable material however, as my husband and I are giants we couldn't sit directly across from each other the tables were too close together and should be adjusted a bit. I found it a bit odd so many sandwiches were on the menu for dinner and in an Italian fusion restaurant. I'd suggest increasing pasta dishes or maybe some other rustic Italian menu items for dinner and make the sandwiches for lunch. This wasn't a regular thing but they had music when we went and it was not good. They didn't need microphones in a space that size that wasn't insulated. It was all too loud and the singers were not in tune all the time. It made the enjoyment of the night less and we had trouble hearing each other. I wouldn't have given them a 3.5 without the music or regular background music. Last thing, I cringed when I saw Italian dishes having cheddar cheese listed as an ingredient in it. However, given how cleanly cooked what I had was and how much care they tried to put into it I would come back and try it on another night. I'm not sure if we will go back but if we do it would be on a non music night.
