We've come here at least 4 times since we found out about it. They've been open for a year or so, family owned small business. I wasn't sure what to expect when we made our first coffee order but they were so kind so we wanted to support - WOW! We loved our drinks , I got a matcha latte (once iced and once hot) , mom got her typical cappuccino We loved both!!! The last time we went we tried a sandwich. You can pick your add ons on the paper they provide and they toast the sandwich at the end (if you decide) . This time we got sourdough bread which was perfect but next time I'll try the Dutch crunch!

I have driven by Nature's Goodness several times and today I decided to come in and try it. Their big emphasis seemed to be that they serve vegan and health foods, so as a vegetarian I was excited to try this spot. They have a selection of sandwiches, salads, smoothies and various coffee type drinks including matcha, I also saw they serve dole whip. Upon entering I notice they have a small shop and their menu displayed above the cashier. I decided to get a sandwich with vegan meat, the garlic chicken. I think the owner was the one who assisted me and he showed me that you fill out a form to order your sandwich. I ordered pretty much all the toppings but forgot to mark cheese so I was sad my sandwich was missing it but that's ok. The sandwich was delicious, I got it toasted on dutch crunch and their dill ranch dressing was really tasty, I like how fresh the sandwich was. I also decided to order their matcha, the matcha was a nice bright green color and I like that it didn't need any sweetener and tasted delicious on its own. Probably one of the best matchas in Carmichael area. The only thing that was a little inconsistent was their prices, I understand everything increases in prices these days but they should of updated the pricing on their menu. Overall I would come back again and try their dole whip and other vegan meat selections.

What a gem! Ask yourself the last time you found a restaurant that actually had reasonable prices and great customer service. Before eating at Nature's Goodness, I'd have a hard time answering that one. This little family-run café tucked in a quiet shopping center in Carmichael has as many plant-based options as they do omnivore and it all comes with the absolute friendliest service. I come in regularly for the sandwiches that are loaded with fresh produce and Butcher's Son deli meats. Vegan mayo, vegan cheese... no problem, you build your sandwich or wrap the way you want it. No vegan tax here! They carry Dole Whip and, on occasion, Oatly plant-based soft serve. It's almost dangerous how good those two things taste together. Recently they started featuring flavored iced teas from Tractor Beverage Co. that are super refreshing. Don't skip on one of those either. I was also surprised to see they offer a small selection of vegan donuts from Family Donuts in nearby Fair Oaks as well (major plus) and also expanded to carry vegan ice cream. I can't rave about Nature's Goodness enough. They are a huge addition to the local plant-based scene and worth driving across town for!

We stopped by for a quick lunch. We were immediately greeted by a nice lady at the counter. We asked about the vegan options and she was very helpful. She helped my daughters create a sandwich that they both enjoyed. The vegan "meats" were excellent. I enjoyed the "pastrami" sandwich. We liked the "mango tango" smoothie. Overall nice experience

Omg! I am so glad my friend to me about Nature's Goodness. As much as I am in the Reyes Azteca shopping center I've driven past is gem many times. I walk in and am immediately greeted. The lady who runs the business and I forget her name so please forgive me is so kind and helpful and answered all of my dietary needs especially allergens. I love that they serve vegan food and they also serve food for the meat eater don't worry they've got you covered. :) They serve salads, sandwiches, fresh juices, Vegan donuts, Dole whip and so much more... you will not be disappointed in the selection that is offered. I ordered the veggie sandwich which on vegan ciabatta bread as well as a soft serve half & half Dole whip and Oatly soft serve. The sandwich is delicious the veggies super fresh and the bread fresh and soft as well. The Dole Whip with the Oatly soft serve is so refreshing they come in 2 sizes small and large and is so worth it. The prices are fantastic and the portions sizes great. If you're ever in the Carmichael area I highly recommend you come and give Nature's Goodness and you are supporting local business. :)

This place is wonderful! Every food item, drink, and dessert we ordered this morning was absolutely delicious & the 2 people working (I think they might be the owners) we're both super sweet & allowed us to modify our order to have exactly what we wanted. The meal was sooo delicious. Very flavorful! My sister & I each ordered a rainbow bagel sandwich + strawberry mango smoothie. My sis also ordered a latte + a vegan donut. We devoured it all & will be back soon for more! :-)

I finally got my strawberry #dolewhip fix at @naturesgoodnesscafe! I haven't had a strawberry one since last year at the state fair. SO GOOD! The @thebutchersson_official tofurkey sandwich was also delicious! They also have regular pineapple dole whip and vanilla and switch out flavors. And the owners are so friendly and nice! instagram: jax.vegan.eats

The menu on the wall doesn't reflect the vegan sandwich options but if you get the little square piece of paper to fill in your sandwich order-- surprise! They have vegan options.. along with donuts and dole whip-- all vegan. Located in a plaza where Marconi turns into Palm and intersects with Fair Oaks. The staff were helpful and super nice (offering dole whip samples) and excited about their vegan offerings.. When you walk in, it seems like a small place but there's more space around the corner. It's a Carmichael gem.

Pastrami sandwich.

I ordered a a vegan sandwich, they have non vegan items also! It was so delicious! The pastrami was tasty and the bread was light and fluffy. I will eat here again. The portions are huge!

Attention: new vegan friendly cafe! I'm so glad I found this little local spot. They have lots of vegan options and watermelon dole whip!? The menu is a mix or sandwiches, breakfast items, cofeee, smoothies donuts - all with vegan options. Very friendly owner and excited to offer all these amazing options. I tried the build your own sandwich with the Butchers son vegan pastrami and it was so good! They toast the sando lightly and have lots of toppings. Did I mention good prices?! Can't wait to head back to try more!

This is a great vegan place, and they do not hit your pocket book with high prices. They deserve so much more recognition

Was hanging out with my oldest for the afternoon and went to get a sandwich. Not from the area so I…read morechecked YELP and found Corti Brothers store and said the food pics looked good and decided to give them a try. When you enter the store the deli counter is to the left. You begin your order by filling out a small piece of paper which tells the sandwich makers what to put on your sandwich. Once your selections are made place the paper on a small black plate at the end of the counter right next to where you filled out order sheet. I usually go with a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich with pepper jack for the cheese. They have all of the usual fixings expected at a deli shop. Just circle what you want and wait for them to call your name. What made the sandwich stand out was the generous portion size and the fresh bread. The Dutch crunch actually crunched!!! They have tables and chairs outside to the left of the entrance to sit and eat. The store opened in 1947 and the food was excellent. Will most definitely be back when I am in the town!!

Feeling bamboozled…read more They posted the past few days on their social media that they had 268 bottles. Come to find out, 122 were already reserved (while I was in line since 8:15am, opens at 9a), and the amount of bottles being reserved were increasing as I had waited. Strange. Walk ins were told they had priority? Why would they promote this information on social media with influencers and not deliver as they stated? How does one even reserve a bottle? Employees holding them? That's not integrity. It is BS that the store would not honor what they have been posting online in the posts and comments. Please be transparent and not push fake information, my group and I drove an hour to be out here immediately after dropping off kids at school. There was a crazy line of people wrapped around the back past the dumpster anticipating the bottle, and albeit not everyone will get a bottle but I wasted my time & gas coming out as did many others because of the stores antics. The grocery store itself was cool, very niche with lots of locally and house made items. There were many types of sausages and corti brothers own brand of raviolis and sauces. Sourdough bread available too. For the future, I wouldn't come back here for any whiskey drops ‍

The Sandwich Spot - The Hot Rod Highway

This specific Sandwich Spot location was one of my original favorite sandwich shops of all time…read more My friend Ashley and I used to always come here and split a Cougar on Dutch Crunch, sub pastrami for turkey. Feeling nostalgic, I recently decided to have lunch here. I asked for a Cougar with pastrami instead of turkey. "You want a number 26?" (Looks at menu) "Yes, with pastrami instead of turkey." "Number 26, right?" When I had walked in, I saw two girls cleaning. One of them had stopped to take my order. After taking my order, she continued to clean for exactly ten minutes before stopping, washing her hands, and beginning to prepare my sandwich. (I'm positive that it was exactly ten minutes before she even *started* to make my sandwich, because I get a text message the minute my card is charged, so it's easy to just look at the text, and see how much time has elapsed.) As she finished making my sandwich, another guest came in. After she placed her order, the second girl washed her hands, and both girls made her sandwich together. While I had waited nearly fifteen minutes for my sandwich, this girl waited for less than two. It was so odd. As I ate my sandwich, both girls behind the counter stared at me so hard that I seriously wondered if they had done something funky to my sandwich. So, all of that was very strange. But the sandwich was good. None of the ingredients were missing. The veggies were all in ridiculously tiny quantities in comparison to the super smearing of sauce, but, it was all there, and it tasted good. When it comes to sandwiches, in terms of the meat, you get what you pay for. Sandwich Spot uses cheaper meat than some fancier delis do, but they also use a larger quantity of it. So, if you would rather have a large amount of okay pastrami versus a medium amount of great pastrami, then, Sandwich Spot is the spot for you. If you're really into premium lunch meat, though, this isn't it. The pastrami tasted like it could have come from the fridge section at Winco or Walmart. Overall, for a cheaper/lower-end sandwich place, Sandwich Spot is still one of my favorites. I love their menu, and haven't found a sandwich quite like the Cougar anywhere else.

I hadn't been here in nearly 10 years and was looking forward to a nostalgic lunch, but…read moreunfortunately, this visit was a major letdown. I ordered the Barracuda, and my wife got the General Lee. Both sandwiches were served on Dutch crunch rolls that were so hard, they were nearly inedible -- my wife couldn't even finish hers because the bread hurt her mouth. Mine left the roof of my mouth sore, but I pushed through since it wasn't exactly a cheap meal. The fillings didn't help either -- the meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while especially the roast beef, and the vegetables were wilted and lifeless. The macaroni salad tasted identical to the store-bought Reser's brand, with that unmistakable aftertaste, which was disappointing. Overall, nothing felt fresh. Everything had the vibe of being prepped a day or two ago and just left to sit. I truly wish we had just gone to the grocery store instead. Sadly, this place didn't live up to the memories, and I won't be returning. Lesson learned.

I kept hearing a friend rave about how good their subs still were but she also lived in another city. Anyways, today was the first time we gave this franchise another shot so we stopped by this location just out of convenience. I have zero regrets and am so glad we did! I just wanted to give some love to them because it was by far the freshest, most smacking, done-right sub I've had in forever!! I haven't had subs from franchises in years, we've been so spoiled by the delis in LA and I'm so glad we gave them another chance. The guys were all so friendly. The two subs we ordered (turkey and club sub) was banging with flavor and freshness. My hugest and only complaint was at the end: The first guy who takes our order gets our bread and slices the meat places it on the bread. The employee next to him assembles the sub with the vegetables and sauce. BUT the guy who rings us up at the cashier till who is touching money (cash, cards, pressing buttons) with his dirty gloves takes our assembled sub, holding and touching the bread with his dirty gloves, wraps it up and bags it up. People handling payments shouldn't be touching the food. It was gross to see that! Other than that, this place is highly recommended.
