Huevos Rancheros

Family owned restaurant, with the kindest ownership and best food. I absolutely loved the huevos rancheros, with a side of extra spicy salsa! The potatoes were perfectly seasoned! The orange juice is freshly squeezed and coffee was delicious. The service was very quick and staff were friendly! They do have tight seating, but they offer patio seating which helps accommodate their guests. Either way, that doesn't matter when the food is this amazing! There are lots of options on the menu that I can't wait to try!

Our wonderful breakfast, biscuits and gravy and fruit topped french toast!

I am soo glad we happened in here today! I have literally traveled across this country trying biscuits and gravy to find the best ones in every city I have visited. Believe it or not, my favorite is right here in Carmichael! The biscuits were perfectly fluffy and tender and can stand on their own. Once you add the gravy, these topped the all of the rest. The gravy was just the right consistency. The balance of flavors was the best I have had. My wife had the French toast with berries and cream that she also loved. We are looking forward to our next visit and discovering what else they excel at.

This was so delicious!! Cozy, great service, I want to go back and try more things. Quality of ingredients are fresh, large portions, reasonable cost.

LOVED this place! We happened upon this place when we were on the hunt for a new brunch spot and we were very glad we tried this place. It's a small and quaint spot, a few seats at the bar, some outdoor seating. We had about a 20 min wait, they text you when your table is ready. The mimosas were good, the food was delicious, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. PARKING: They have a small, private parking lot which was full when we arrived but there is street parking and people seemed to find spots nearby. We will for sure be back!

Located in a sharp corner of Fair Oaks and Manzanita Ave is a newly opened beautiful building with outdoor and indoor seating. The place is super cozy, a little cozy for me due to seatings are a bit close but why not squeeze all strangers together and all can eavesdrop and everyone can be in one conversation J/K. Beautiful inside and outside. Parking 3.5/5 about 10 vehicles Service 5/5 Friendly and all smiles from entering and exiting the building. The ladies are like chameleon able to adapt to all the different personalities Food 4/5 was good and a lot better than some places I've been to in the area. The menu is grand for the small place. Bathroom 5/5 appears that someone upkeep with it. Maybe labeling the key the lady that came back with the key was to the men's restroom Definitely will be returning because the service is amazing and to give the other menu items an opportunity to be devoured by me. I am so glad the bathroom is on the outside. Let the funk stay outside

I've been posting brunch reviews for a while and this was the best place yet! The vibe is warm and fun. Everyone that works there is happy to see you and the seem to actually enjoy themselves and the customers. Our server was fantastic. I had the avocado toast that was unbelievable. They have an incredible mimosa selection and the prices are so reasonable. The coffees are great too. This is definitely a place to come back to again and again.

Stumbled across this place and boy am I glad. We will definitely be back. Wide menu selection from sweet to savory plus many drink options from coffees, smoothies, and juices. Service and food was excellent.

Brunch Corner delivers as a great breakfast/brunch place. I went on a Sunday morning (10am) for breakfast and was seated immediately..but later on around 11am there was a line outside. They have a cute outdoor patio seating area, although the parking lot is small so parking can be tricky. Had the breakfast chilaquiles plate, it was delicious. The tortilla chips strike that perfect balance between crisp and tender, soaking up the egg yolk sauce without turning soggy. The red salsa sauce is rich but not too spicy and isn't overpowering. Topped with fresh crema, queso, avocado and perfectly cooked eggs, every bite feels hearty and satisfying. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles plate, which was equally impressive and tasty. The fried chicken is golden and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. Paired with a fluffy waffle that has a slight crisp edge, the combination hits all the right sweet-and-savory notes. The syrup ties everything together without making it overly heavy, and each component holds its own while complimenting each other. Overall, The Brunch Corner is a solid pick to satisfy your breakfast appetite. Whether you're in the mood for something savory with a kick or a comforting sweet-savory combo, this spot delivers a satisfying breakfast.

Cool outdoor seating, restaurant inside smaller ans 20 plus min wait to sit inside. Waiter was professional and polite. The biscuits and gravy were good, the crepe that they brought out was the wrong one. I ordered meatless one and they brought out the sweet and savory w ham. So didn't eat, and didn't bother telling them. I had the papaya banana smoothie, delicious. My bf thought the chicken fried steak was top notch, and potatoes were soft inside and crispy on the outside.

We came here one Sunday morning after mass in Carmichael and were overall pleased with the quality of food and reasonable prices. We got eggs over medium with potatoes and a meat omelette (I think it was beef or carnitas, it was the hubby's), the energy booster juice, and a hot latte. The energy booster unfortunately was missing the cucumber as they said they didn't have it but we ordered it anyway. The service was ok, the server we had was more in a hurry. The ambiance was packed and a bit on the dirty side. Looking at the floor, it looked like it could use a scrub. Overall, while the quality of food was ok the place just appears to look a bit tight and dirty. I rate this place a 3.5 and perhaps we will try again in the future.

My husband and I were looking for a new breakfast place to try and yelp took me to The brunch corner. It had good reviews, so I thought why not. Boy, oh boy those reviews were not wrong. This place is absolutely amazing. We were greeted by Alejandra and she's simply amazing. We felt welcomed. The inside is small and cozy. The food choices are great. There were so many options. I ended up getting chicken waffles and my husband got the egg Benedict with potatoes. Side note- they make their own chicken tenders and it's so good . This place definitely deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended

Chicken fried steak!

Tasty food and good portions. Service was right on point. We are longtime customers of Ray Azteca and were very curious to try this place. It did not disappoint. Ask for senior discounts, they do offer them Chicken fried steak and chorizo and eggs were excellent!. Casual atmosphere. We will be back!

Nice little place. Very small, max capacity is 70. We got the chips and salsa to share and my husband got a chicken sandwich and I got a savory ham crepe. His sandwich was massive and delicious with the freshly fried chicken on it. My crepe was good, it had honey mustard on it which complimented the ham perfectly. My one qualm is the salsa is heated up and comes out hot with the chips and salsa. Not a big deal just not my cup of tea and I had to ask for cold salsa. All in all it's a good little brunch spot. Can get busy though pretty fast.

Santa Fe omelet (I think that was the name of it)

So, we thought we've made a mistake and was about to leave, then one of the waitresses told us that they served breakfast and handed us a menu. The menu was very limited and overpriced! I ordered the lemon buttermilk pancakes with potatoes for $14!!! The menu stated 3 fluffy pancakes with housemade lemon curd with strawberries. What I got was 3 small thinly made pancakes with a tiny serving of lemon curd on the side. If you're going to serve me pancakes, I expect them to be huge and thick for that price! That one tiny strawberry I've got on top of my pancakes was a sad little touch. I expected a few strawberries like the menu stated and only got one! That was not worth my money! My friend ordered their breakfast croissant. This meal was a huge letdown! We could have had a decent breakfast someplace else.

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.

This time started off a little rough, but in the end they made it right, which is why I'm writing this review. I placed a to-go order for steak, shrimp, and chicken fajitas. The order was repeated back to me correctly when I called it in. When I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff was clearly focused on serving the diners inside first, so my order took about an extra 25 minutes. Not ideal, but understandable given how packed the restaurant was. Unfortunately, when we got home and opened the bag, the fajitas only contained steak -- there was no chicken or shrimp included. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager to explain what happened. At first there was some back-and-forth about possible solutions, including bringing the food back or only replacing part of the order. My husband had already started eating because he was hungry, so returning the food wasn't really practical. To the manager's credit, she took the situation seriously and actually called the owner at home to explain what had happened. Shortly afterward she called me back and let me know the owner approved remaking the entire order correctly at no additional cost. That completely changed the experience. For me, good customer service isn't about the money -- it's about making things right when a mistake happens. Once they stepped in and corrected the situation, it showed they value their customers and their reputation. Mistakes happen at every restaurant, especially when things are busy. What matters is how a business responds. Cantina Azteca ultimately did the right thing, and because of that we will absolutely continue to come back. Thank you to the manager and owner for making it right.
