First time here and the service was great. The portions are huge and we should have split our meals. Everything was delicious.
Once again, we had excellent service and wonderful food. The coffee is great!!! I wanted to post this photo of the menu because several of my favorites!
What a fun stop on our way to a convention! We had to come by for their signature beignets! It came with three different jams underneath (DELICIOUS!! Not too sweet). The ooey gooey jams counterbalanced the crispy beignets so well. Our server was wonderful at checking in and making sure we had water. Our food came super quickly too! the interior is like an all American dinner with plenty of seating! The crab cake Benedict wasn't my favorite because the hollandaise sauce was a little thick and the crab cake was a bit burnt but the hashbrowns were good and crispy! The scrambles are massive and they have many on the menu with a variety of protein! There's definitely a lot of savory entrees to try.
First time eating at Huckleberry's! I always pass by it, but I got a chance to try them for breakfast. They have a lot of options on their menu. I like the southern hospitality vibes that the restaurant gives. The servers are friendly and food came out quick! The portions are good and skillets come with your choice of a muffin, biscuit, or toast. I got the Dixieland skillet and the presentation was great! It did have a lot of potatoes, but the veggies, eggs and thin pieces of steak helped balance it out. The fried okra is a yummy appetizer and it comes with 2 different sauces! Be careful when eating it because it's very hot, delicious and addicting!
This location is super friendly. Lunch was good here as always. Go for the stacked waffles and a huckleberry lemonade to start your day!
Huckleberry's is a great breakfast spot located in rancho Cordova! Big parking lot! The menu is huge and they actually serve more than just breakfast! I came here on my dad's birthday and I've been here a few other times. It's always a solid spot! I got an omelette that came with toast and a huge serving of hash browns. I also got an iced coffee that was really good! We got complimentary beignets for my dad's birthday which was really nice! The waffles and everything was really tasty! We had a nice server who was attentive and helpful!
I wanted breakfast just took my puppy to get his shots. They were nice enough to say I could bring him in his little bag because he's tiny but I opted out it's an indoor restaurant and I knew he wouldn't sit still. But the energy and service was 10/10 for just being considerate. Now let's get into the food. I wanted to try the fried green tomatoes and I'd give it a 4/10 the crunch was amazing but the flavor was missing for me I feel like if they seasoned the tomatoes before the batter them they would be better than having the seasoning all over the plate, the sauce was ok. I got the Mississippi skillet with gravy on the side and extra cheese and sourdough toast. It was delicious. And a pancake and egg and bacon plate. And our waitress made sure my coffee cup stayed full! Definitely recommend
Family friendly. Cute decor. Coloring pages for kids. Omelets are huge and yummy. Country potatoes were nothing special but the blueberry muffin was delicious! Waitress was very nice and efficient.
I have been to this restaurant two times now & nothing on the menu is healthy fresh food... mostly heavy fried processed food ... this is not my kind of restaurant & I would NOT visit again.
Decided to hit breakfast with the wife. First time at this location and it's very clean with great staff that are really attentive. I had the chicken fried steak, hash and eggs while the wife had French toast, eggs and sausage. Food were large portions and very good and the food was hot! We'll definitely be back!
The food was served fresh and was very flavorful. I ordered the chicken and waffles stack. The best part was the juicy chicken. The skin was not overly crunchy or thick. My husband has the rib-eye breakfast. He enjoyed it and he likes his medium rare and it was to his liking. Not a huge cut, but it did the job. My son had the New Orleans skillet. He travels a lot and loves to try new spots and said he would definitely come back. Overall, a good place to eat. Laid back ambiance and great food and service.

We've always passed by this location but never tired it. My husband and I decided to try this location on Micron Ave today. The restaurant itself is pretty big and clean. Our server was very friendly. She was surprised on how fluent my husband's Spanish was . lol. The food is great. My country style potatoes were delicious and the chicken strips were very tender. We'll definitely be coming back here.

Simple breakfasts done extremely well. Even the ones on the senior menu. It's been awhile since we did a weekend breakfast anywhere. Even longer since it was to a place that does it as nicely as here. The hash browns are generously done and amazingly not greasy. The bacon is cooked to perfection and is fairly lean (as bacon goes). For over 60 seniors who have slightly diminished appetites, there is also a senior menu of 3 egg as with diced potatoes or hash browns, bacon or sausage. Vegetarians have the option to substitute out the meat items. read more

Every now and then I'll get a craving for the flavors I came across during a trip to New Orleans or 'Nawlins and all I've ever come across are restaurants that serve beignets in Sacramento. Unbeknownst to me there is a diner franchise, Huckleberry's, with a Bayou theme and a New Orleans/southern cookin' inspired menu. This was such a fun dining experience and I can't wait to return. I love the kitschy bayou theme and the decorations put a smile on my face. I experienced friendly service and a clean environment. To top it all off the food was better than expected diner fare. Everything came out really quickly even though the restaurant was busy and the food came out hot and tasted fresh. Nothing was stale. Huck's iced tea had the right amount of sweetness and the beignets were light and airy. I really enjoyed the monte cristo sandwich. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo for breakfast/brunch. The monte cristo had both ham and turkey and provided a much needed savory element to an otherwise sweet heavy breakfast. Another visit is already in the works and I can't wait. read more

Good food and Service I am 80 years old, do you think when I say good food and service, I do not mean it. Busboy at the University Restaurant in Tampa Bay Florida was my first job, I was 15 years old, I learned how to run a restaurant, quietly not like a gymnasiums, waiters and waitresses, took care of the food handling, table set up and drinks were served and reserved by the bus boys quietly. read more
First time visiting and my initial impression is it feels a bit like Disneyland. It's has Tiana's Bayou vibes with a fake palm tree at the check in counter , large rustic fire place , lots of natural light thru tall windows , and cricket sounds piped thru the speakers . It's cute ! Huckleberries has southern dinner inspired foods. We ordered the sweet cream flapjacks and the Cajun Benedict with andouille sausage . The flapjacks were perfect ! Five stars very delicious. The benny was pretty good as well , the o ly think was the hollandaise was not a not my favorite, it had a slight sour taste and the sour dough bread under neath did not go well with the dish z, it was too soggy . But the eggs were well prep and the hash browns were also very good . Fun atmosphere and friendly service . Good food with a simple menu. I would definitely come to visit again :) read more
Went to Huckleberry's and my partner and I had the Dixie skillet as well as the Mississippi skillet. We were not disappointed the food was great! The hostess and waitresses were very attentive, the service was great! They have sounds that play around the restaurant that makes you feel like you're in the bayou, cricket sounds, the ambiance of the restaurant was great! Overall I love coming here, every time I do the food is great l, the iced caramel macchiato was okay but other than that I recommend coming here! read more

What a great place! I was looking for some place different to go for breakfast and this place did not disappoint. Service was great and food came out surprisingly fast! like when I say fast I mean we sat down, ask for something and it came out with our drink less than 3 minutes or so later. The waiters were very nice and polite. The food was also very good, very feeling and had good flavor! I'd recommend going! read more

Brunch at Huckleberry's on Micron. Great service and amazing food. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. Highly recommend. Bloody Marys, Chicken and Waffle stack, Banana foster French toast, cheesy eggs and fried green tomatoes with a side of hash browns. read more

The go-to after-church spot. Usually diner type American food is just gross. Denny's IHOP Norms all just kinda fail and you accept it. This is good stuff though. I went with the combo of all breakfast items which was some plate by Tom I wanna say, it had eggs, red potatoes, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy. Everything was stellar and that chicken fried steak was bomb. Just the biscuit was pretty meh. I've never had a good biscuit from a diner so I'll just avoid that next time. Good service and all six of us were seated quickly on a packed Sunday. Other stuff I've tried that I'd avoid: chicken n waffles. Had to. Just don't, the chicken sucks. Don't get that chicken waffle sandwich either it's just gross. Not sure about their regular chicken strips but don't say I didn't warn you. And my friend said the beignets are only three to an order and they're cakey which is just all wrong. PS I don't believe those calorie counts. No way my plate was only like 1100. Just look at it you can't even see all the stuff piled on there. read more

This review is for a DoorDash order. I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict. The crabcake really just tasted like a smooshed, tuna patty lol but the eggs and the potatoes were cooked very well though and tasted good. read more

This is our first time at this Micron location in Rancho Cordova. We were greeted and seated upon entering. Our server Aidania has excellent customer service skills. Friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered Grill Catfish creole style, scrambled Eggs, Bell Peppers, Onions with mushrooms and I had the Grill Catfish creole style with Eggs over medium and a side order of the Buttered Waffle. The food was served heat hot and it's was also delicious. Mmmm good We definitely will be back when we're in the area. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to have Huckleberry's on New Year's Day for brunch. We both haven't had Huckleberry's in years. It was a packed house when we arrived, but we didn't wait too long. We waited maybe around 20 minutes? The manager is on top of his stuff! He seated us and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the Huck's Swamp Tea and my boyfriend got the Huckleberry Lemonade. If you've never had the drinks here, they're huge (a big mason jar)!! Iced tea is definitely the way to go. Not too sweet and refreshing. I ordered the banana French toast platter and my boyfriend got the chicken fried steak. I always have a hard time picking sweets or savory, but I liked how this dish had the two. It came with eggs and fried green tomatoes. I will say my favorite thing on the platter was the fried green tomatoes. The French toast wasn't too sweet, but toward the end and the aftertaste had a weird taste. It was like a burnt taste. I decided not to take the last two slices home. The chicken fried steak was the better of the two! It was comforting and seasoned well. The chicken was crispy on the outside and the potatoes were done well. read more
