Valentines Day Brunch Special Smoked Salmon EBs with a Mimosa. Their Hollandaise sauce is the best Omg, yummy!

Country Potatoes
Monisha M.

I was craving country style potatoes this morning and wanted to try a new place. As I was scrolling through my yelp, I came across sunrise waffle. It had good reviews and is close to where I live. Upon arriving , we were greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and decorated with a whole lot of 49ers decorations. Definitely made my husband happy. Our server Patricia was super nice and checked up on us frequently. The price is reasonable, service was great. I'd recommend this place .

Eggs were scary looking. No thanks
Cyn D.

The biscuits and gravy were the best part of this meal. We ordered a vegan and meat omelet. The eggs were a strange brown, gray, super unappealing, didn't look fresh at all. Ate the potatoes and the veggies only. The biscuits and gravy felt like the safest thing to eat!! For the price not worth it. Better to eat at home than to waste money on rotten colored eggs.

Eggs Benedict Original Style

Our daughter's softball team had a weekend tournament with a long break between games, so 20 of us went to Sunrise Waffle for brunch on Sunday morning. We called ahead to check with them if they could handle our large group, and they were wonderful--seating us all together right away. The service was great: attentive, quick with refills, and very accommodating when it came to splitting checks. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which looked delicious but wasn't quite my favorite--the hollandaise had a bit of an odd taste. My family stuck with waffles and pancakes, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Since it's a waffle house, I know what I'm ordering next time! Overall, our whole group was happy with the food, the service was friendly, and they handled a big party with ease. There's plenty of parking, and while the building is a little older, the inside was kept clean and welcoming.

When we lived in Rancho and also Bradshaw we found this gem on Folsom Blvd via Yelp. We love going to old school type diners as they remain nostalgic and prices are decent with good portions. The waitress was awesome--forgot to get her name. But she was smiling always. There are TVs around playing the sport of the day. The space is good for groups. The Folsom omelet should be on the menu permanently it was so good with all my favorite ingredients such as sausage, bacon, mix cheeses, spinach and mushroom. My hubz really love their country scramble and their country gravy had sausages as well. And he likes the fact that his biscuit was not dry. Glad we came back after moving further. Def a good morning breakfast spot.

Such a great place for breakfast. On weekends, I am super lazy to cook, so I love to go out for breakfast. This place has the BEST waffles! My crew ordered the strawberry with ice cream OMG. the bOmB. !!! We had other stuff too but thE WAFFLE is the highlight ! I got an eggs Benedict, my partner got an enchilada omelet, and the girls split pancakes . So much food we had take out to go. If your in the area definitely a place to come.

Good food. Great service. First time here. I've driven passed this restaurant many times. We decided to check it out. Glad we did. I got the Portuguese skillet. The portions are big. So come here ready to eat! The sausage was good and you get lot's of it. We also got a waffle combo with bacon and sausage. Very good. This restaurant is definitely worth checking out. The food is delicious, friendly service. Plenty of parking.

This is some of the seating on the inside, there's also a nice patio when the weather is better

Big menu lots of choices, not just breakfast. There's lunch choices also. I got the BLT with fries. Very good the bacon was cooked to perfection. Service was good clean restaurant.

House skillet. It was delicious!

Ambiance: Nothing extravagant or unusual. Just a typical diner feel. Service: Awesome! Our waitress was very prompt, friendly, and never let our coffee cups go empty. She was the best I have experienced in California. Food: The House Skillet was the hit of the table. It was fresh, yummy, cooked perfectly, and good value for the money. The Bacon-Pecan Waffle was very, very good. It had both Bacon and Pecan pieces mixed in the batter and on top. Couldn't ask for a better waffle. Do yourself a favor and your pocketbook; go to this Sunrise Waffle and enjoy a wonderful Breakfast experience.

It was my first time eating at sunrise waffle and I had a really great time with a delicious meal. We came around 11 so the breakfast rush had already gone, so the service was fantastic and very fast and efficient. It was football Sunday but the ambience was very relaxed and I saw that they are big 49er fans. I got the waffles with the chicken on the side and then I added strawberries with whipped cream. It was delicious and the chicken was perfectly crispy. My husband got the steak breakfast, and I was very impressed with the hooks execution on the stake, the char in the grill marks were absolutely perfect. The steak was also cooked exactly as asked, medium rare. My only complaint would be the biscuits and gravy, I thought the biscuit was a little hard and the gravy was really peppery, but my husband liked it so it might be a personal preference thing. Overall, this is a great birth breakfast spot that I'll definitely be coming back to.

All I can say is Amen, to this place. The waffles was bomb. I had the bacon waffles with strawberries and whip cream on top. The service was top tier. Ms. Erin, was so amazing. Kind, funny, patient, warm very sweet. She most diff needs a trophy for server of the year. Thank you for serving no matter what. Your kindness will open doors for you. Until next time. Well done guys.

If you live in Rancho, you've seen this place more than enough. I FINALLY decided to try it today after 2 years! It was a little rainy today, but I really enjoy these days when breakfast is on the menu. We were able to get seated right when we walked in, our server, Eryn, was nice and helpful. She was on top of the table and we didn't have to keep asking ask her for stuff. Those are my favorite waiters! Definitely a "Cheers" type of restaurant. What I mean by that is that they have many regulars that frequent this location, so it's good to see the waiters, management, and the consumers know each other by first name. I really enjoy these environments more than most because it's always nice to see and be seen, know and be known! The restaurant was clean, Christmas decor with a mix of the 49ers memorabilia and of course some Mariah Carey playing in the background... who's gonna really complain?! Lol. Now the food... it was "good", but it wasn't "great". Honestly my complaint is the flavor of any food coming from the kitchen to the table. I don't like to season my food with salt or pepper unless I have to. Unfortunately this was one of those places. The crazy part about it is that the food isn't bad at all, but there's no flavor either. I know I know... not everyone likes having extra flavor added to their food, but I know great cooks know how to season food well without creating problems for the consumer. I will be back, I'll try something else, and we will go from there. I'm sorry but I didn't take pics of the food AGAIN... help me...

Well, i'm visiting the Elk Grove area and decided to take a little ride to Folsom Boulevard with my son to visit Sunrise Waffle Shop. I used to love this place when it was on Zinfandel , but over the past few years, they moved to Folsom Boulevard. So when my son and I came in, we were greeted by a very nice server. I get my usual hot green tea, which is served in a large cup. This is something I really liked. The menu has just about anything you want AND has a special 65 or older menu. I order an apple fruit waffle, and my son orders a special hobo omelete (everything in it) that comes with fruit and biscuits and gravy. I really enjoyed the breakfast as we shared between us. The omelet was so stuffed with everything that each bite had something in it. The biscuits and gravy were served in a large bowl, and the waffle was phenomenal. While the restaurant is a fairly old building, it is very well maintained and clean. The booths and tables are in great condition. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large. You will not walk away hungry!

We are so happy that we did because this Denny's location was awesome. Right away, we were welcomed in by a friendly staff member who seated my husband, infant daughter, and I immediately. Another staff member offered us beverages, brought them for us, then assured us our server would be with us shortly. Within the time we were checking out the menu, our very upbeat server walked by to let us know she would get to us as soon as she could (she had several other tables she was tending to) and she floated by from table to table, very upbeat and never with hands empty. She got back to us pretty quickly, greeting us, and introducing herself as Kerri. She took our orders and we got our coffees topped off. Each time our coffee cups were refilled, it was always hot and fresh! The manager brought our food to us while Kerri tended to her many other tables who I noticed seemed to be some people she was familiar with, which told me she had plenty of regulars. Of course she did--her customer service skills were great! The manager, too, was incredibly efficient. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a restaurant manager actually helping out around the restaurant and checking in on tables. He was pre-bussing, refilling drinks, holding doors open for guests, and telling the ones exiting to have a good day. It was clear to us that he was always on top of things. Overall, I noticed everyone helped each other out at this Denny's. No one was ever just standing around twiddling their thumbs. Dishes and scraps were picked up right away as well! We loved that our coffee cups were never empty, the restaurant was very clean, food was delicious and brought out quickly, and everyone was so friendly. We were so happy with the impeccable customer service we experienced this morning! We will absolutely return time and time again to this location.

We have tried multiple Mimosa House locations, and this one is by far and away our favorite. There are a lot of breakfast spots out there, but what keeps us coming back here is not just the food, which is always solid, it is the people. The staff at this location are such a good team. Nick, Danielle, Skylar and Devin (and Omar when we get to see him), every single one of them is friendly, on top of everything, and just genuinely good at what they do. You can tell they all work well together, and it makes a difference. Even when it is busy, things run smoothly and you never feel ignored or rushed. And honestly, that kind of experience does not happen without a strong kitchen and the rest of the team behind the scenes. We may not know everyone by name, but it is clear they are all working together to keep things consistent. It is one of those places where you start to feel like a regular without even trying. We have even gotten to know a few of the other regulars over time, which just says a lot about the kind of place this is. You walk in, get a smile, maybe recognize a familiar face or two, and know you are going to be taken care of. We have made our way through a good portion of the menu over time. My husband is all about the chicken apple sausage, and I tend to switch things up depending on the day. Everything we have had has been consistently good. Nothing overcomplicated, just really solid breakfast done right. My one, very small, wish? I would love it if they opened up the lunch menu a little earlier. We are early risers, and every now and then I just want a good patty melt and some great fries for breakfast. Weird? Maybe. But I stand by it. Whether you are someone who likes to sit, relax, and enjoy your morning, or someone who can somehow run in, toss a card down for a quick mimosa, and be out the door in record time, this place has you covered. Either way, you will be taken care of.
