We were told this place was good. That was an understatement! Great isn't good enough. Ok, This cafe has a motorcycle theme., I'm not into motorcycles but I can live with it. Here's the first thing great about this cafe, you won't leave hungry. We ordered 2 sandwiches thinking they would be bite sized, we could have ordered one! It was large and packed full of eggs and avocado and bacon. My god it was great! Number 2: we tried two different lattes and they both were fantastic. Their grilled cheeses are a big deal. The coffee was good, too. But man, those grilled cheeses really put the average, plain grilled cheeses to shame. We had the wake up in Guanajuato, sweet cheezus, and midtown morning with a blackberry latte. They also have their own pineapple hot sauce. There was also a pastry window where my kids picked a donut and almond beverage. The theme was genius. Coffee is definitely what fuels my day. Plenty of seating indoors, outdoors, barstools, etc. Though it looked like most patrons literally made a pit stop to order to-go. The lady running everything was very pleasant and diligent and kept the busyness at bay. First time here checking out how one of the sandwiches would be from the great photos online. Entering the shop there is a nice medium wood decor that is welcoming. The staffer at the register was helpful when explained I had not been here before. The menu is more extensive than most coffee shops. There is a full page of grill cheese with good combos of ingredients. Three are listed as sweet which was intriguing. I decided on the Sweet Cheesus (cute name) that has your usual grilled cheese basics along with jam inside. Covered in cinnamon sugar? Awesome! It was delivered warm and looked good. The combination of those atypical ingredients together worked very well. The size of the sandwich was a little bigger than I was thinking and the meal filling. Jasmine is the iced green tea available and it was as it normally expected. So not disappointed at all. There is a good amount of tables and chairs inside as well as a unique bar area with a television on the wall. Limited seating inside just opened up recently. The bar back is made up of depressed wooden filing cabinets. The comfy chairs boarder a glass table with wooden 4x4s and an industrial infrastructure. I have driven past this place a million times since I moved to the area and kept meaning to try it. My sister came to visit due to a work thing she had in the area and decided to come here for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Naturally, being the caffeine addict that I am and needing my IV source before work decided to join her in that mission before we both headed to work. The grilled cheese was every bit of gooey goodness that I hoped it would be. My husband has been on a grilled cheese kick for the last week, and we wanted to try a new coffee shop, so Fast Cat Coffee was the perfect option! They have an entire menu full of all kinds of savory and sweet grilled cheeses. I wanted them all! Luckily nobody was in line behind us because it took me a while to finally decide. Ultimately I picked the Wake Up in Guanajuato grilled cheese, which has carnitas, eggs, salsa, and avocado. It was delicious! The eggs were light and fluffy and I loved the avocado paired with the ooey gooey cheese. I ordered a side of tomato soup also, which actually went better with my husband's brisket grilled cheese. The brisket was nice and tender. It comes with a side of bbq sauce too, and I liked that it was on the side because a bbq sauce grilled cheese wouldn't have gone too well with the tomato soup. Service was okay. She wasn't exactly thrilled to greet us when we walked in. I wonder if they are a newer place because of the low amount of reviews, but regardless customer service should be friendly whether you just opened or not. It did get busy right after we ordered and it seemed like she was the only one working! That doesn't seem right for a Sunday morning. However we did see a guy come in later on and he started helping out too, so that was good for her at least. Decor could use some revamping, since it seemed a bit dull and dark inside, and didn't make me feel like I wanted to hang out. Luckily we had a window seat so it was brighter. The coffee was another tough decision...so many yummy specialty drinks! I chose the blackberry latte since I don't see that too often at coffee shops. I ordered it with oat milk (yay for coffee shops offering oat milk now!) and it was tasty! You can really taste the blackberry flavor but it isn't too sweet and you still get the espresso flavor. Their cups were really cute too. As for the price, it can add up really quickly. For our two sandwiches, side of tomato soup, and two drinks with alternative milks, it was close to $35. I think the sandwiches are definitely priced fairly because of the additional ingredients they include like protein and veggies. However side of tomato soup for $2 seemed a little steep considering the amount that they give. I think a $1 would be fair for that amount, and people might order it more if it was cheaper. Overall their menu was awesome and I'm glad we checked it out. They should definitely market themselves more as a grilled cheese cafe - I think it could bring in a ton of business! Right now the name just sounds like a coffee shop but if people knew they specialized in all kinds of grilled cheese, it would be seen as more unique. It's a bit out of the way for us but it's a great option if you want to grab a full meal and coffee at one stop. read more

They are also about motorcycles and cars, and grilled cheese. This place has so much to offer. The high table against the window had an outlet right underneath for my Chromebook. The dark mocha I chose was delicious; their mocha sauce is not super sugary and sweet like *other coffee places* around. The guy that made my mocha was so welcoming and explained their menu when I mentioned it was my first visit. They have a large drink selection, which was perfect for someone like me who likes trying unique drinks. I got the blackberry latte which was different, wasn't a huge fan of the aftertaste so next time I'll try the lavender latte. Also very reasonably priced drinks. They get a decent amount of business for a friday morning, I was surprised! Between all the sandwich making and fancy drink concocting I felt a bit bad for the barista who was working solo (I hope she got good tips).
