Food and service are exceptional. I have been here twice with my wife. Everything we have had has been great. It's also amazing to see the owner/chef doing it all. One day he is bartending, the next time you're there he is cooking all the food. Can't wait to get through the entire menu.

This nice place is tucked in on the side of a busy little plaza. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Lots of options to sit inside but also outside on the patio. Full menu of options. I wanted to try everything. Ended up with crispy tacos and taking home chamchowder. The tacos were so delicious. The cham chowder was amazing. I wish I would of order two. One was not enough to share with my mom. Definitely will be back for more. Thank you for the amazing customer service.

What a cool surprise coming here for lunch and I am soooo glad we went! You guys, this is THE BEST Brussel sprouts I've ever tasted. Service was so great, and cool cozy place in Fair Oaks! Also tried the mussels and it IS to die for!! We tried 2 more items and the chicken sandwich is juicy!! Service was phenomenal and we felt welcomed and not rushed at all. Please check this place out!

Located in a strip mall, 4894 San Juan Ave. Divided Sky Tavern was a happy surprise with its hip portrait paintings and eclectic interior. We met friends there on a stormy evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was friendly and accommodating. The food was very very good tavern food.

We had come across this recommendation on Yelp a few times and finally made it in, what a treat! They have an inviting setup with booths and bar seating, great for either families or some friends getting together for a bite. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish that we got! Starting with the Elote dip, sweet potato fries and pretzel sticks as appetizers, followed by the crispy fish tacos (which we ended up ordering twice, the mango salsa is to die for), and ending with the lemon bar (soft, fruity, tart but not too tart). Would recommend!

Thai curry mussels - wow! Subtle and amazing-the muscles were taken care of the right way before cooking-not gritty at all!

The muscles are hands down AMAZING. Treated just right before cooking-no grit-the sauce, shut the front door-subtle curry flavors-the enhance the muscles. Brunch at Divided Sky is worth it - we sat at the bar, service was great. Fun and funky with the touch of - this place is a hidden gem!

A buddy of mine found this place online so we decided to check them out. Service was great, ambiance was relaxed, and the food was delicious. They got the breakfast burrito which was huge and came out on a sizzling skillet. I got their ABC burger which was essentially a blackened chicken sandwich with avocado, bacon and pepper jack cheese. We also split their sweet potato pork belly poutine. Every single dish was flavorful and worth the wait. I want to go back soon if I'm ever in the area just because everything I tried last time was so delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.

5 out of 5 the food is good service is stellar I would bring other friends here. My friends live near by so we make the journey from time to time. Definitley a neighborhood spot. Usually busy, high energy atmosphere. The menu seems to be chef driven. Standaed bar fare done really well. Highlights - the tacos and bang bang shrimp.

Food was hot and came out fast! We came in on a Saturday afternoon and all the tables were full inside so we opted to just sit outside. We did not have to wait long at all before our awesome waitress came out with ice waters and menus. We had our food after waiting only 10min MAX even in a FULL restaurant! Highly recommend the fish tacos and truffle fries. Will be returning!

We came as a group, but the restaurant told us we could only pay with two checks. This was not told to us in advance, and we had even made reservations in advance. The place was kind of small, but we made it work. We visited during happy hour, and a couple of the people in our group ordered drinks, which they never received, and one person never got their food. Another person in our party ordered the hamburger with fries, but never received the fries. The service was not good, and the food was alright, but due to lack of customer service and feeling like we were a bother to the staff, we will not be returning. I got the hamburger and it was good, but again, with a lack of customer service it is not a place I would like to continue to visit.

We were in Fair Oaks yesterday and decided to try this place for a late lunch. I had it bookmarked on Yelp so I knew it was a good choice. We got there just at the end of their brunch rush and it was packed. Too hot to sit outside, we found a couple spots at the bar. I went for the Shrimp and Avocado salad and my husband had the ABC Burger (it's Chicken). My salad was one of the best restaurant salads I've had in a while, packed with shrimp and flavor. I couldn't finish it but took it home and ate the rest for dinner. My husband enjoyed his too. We both liked the homemade kettle chips, really crispy and fresh. I had a yummy Pilsner to cool down and my husband enjoyed the ice box pudding for dessert. He loves butterscotch so he was in heaven. Our server was slammed, but she kept checking on us and made us feel welcome. I'd definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Traveling outside of the general hood taking care of some errands, both of us were feeling rather peckish, and YELP to the rescue! Divided sky Tavern look like a cool place to try. The menu sounded tasty and we parked in. Went to enjoy a meal. The restaurant was fairly quiet, which could've been the time of day. It's located in a larger shopping center that's separate from the large grocery store. There is plenty of free parking available. I immediately noticed that the restaurant has a cool vibe, with cool paintings on the wall, and a bar area that is very open and inviting. We opted for the Cubana Sando, and the French dip Sando. The French dip was filled with plenty of meat that had a nice combo of medium rare and rare. The Sando definitely needed horseradish mayo on it to give it that extra flavor. I didn't really care for the si jus. It was OK but nothing super fabulous. The fries were decent, and definitely a generous portion. The Cubana... THIS is the sando you will want. First off, the portion is incredibly generous. It's a large sandwich that will take care of any size appetite. The pork is perfect, the melted cheese, all of the flavors blended together, and then pressed on a Panini press, it's just fabulous! Literally every bite was delicious, and we ended up trying to share it. Notice I said trying lol it really is that delicious. When we ordered, we did opt to up charge the fries on the Cubana Sando so that we had sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries are pretty tasty my friends! We really enjoyed our waiter. He was very personable, and made sure that he checked in with us to check on the food, on us, keep our glasses filled, and all of the good things that make for a good experience! This is definitely a place you can go with family, friends, and yep you can even bring the kiddos. Definitely add this to your list of rando places to try that you won't regret! Go for the Cubana Sando, and stay for the happy hour!

The hostess greeted us with a question. "You ladies came to drink or to eat?" She asked. We came for both! We sat outside near the entrance way. It was a nice shaded corner and it gave some privacy from the plants that were decorated along the entry way. The menu was small and interesting. First hour is happy hour $2 off drinks and $10 off food. I'd say this place is perfect for drinks and apps. There isn't a big variety for entree's. But those appetizers were the show! Our Order: grilled riblets, garnish shrimp pieces, watermelon tomato salad beef sliders French fries and the blackened salmon. The ribs-10/10 fall off the bone seasoned well with some kind of green sauce at the bottom. The garlic shrimp- 10/10 in chili garlic oil with focaccia bread. Watermelon tomato salad- 10/10 feta cheese always takes the show! Beef sliders- 10/10 us just being greedy but so good. French fries- 9/10 decent portion! Blackened salmon- 8/10 compared to how flavorful the appetizer's were it made the salmon lack in taste. Something was missing but it was still good loved the coconut milk flavor in the jasmine rice! All in all 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

A Second Chance That Fell Short - we gave this restaurant a…read moresecond chance tonight after an unfortunate experience here about a year ago that left me with food poisoning. I genuinely wanted to believe that was an isolated incident and was willing to give the restaurant another opportunity. Unfortunately, the food was again a major disappointment. We ordered a burger medium, but it arrived essentially raw. After the previous experience, that was particularly concerning, and I simply pushed the food aside. I also received fries that I never ordered and was charged for them. They appeared to be the remnants of the evening--mostly small, overcooked, and crusty--which only added to the frustration. The service compounded the experience. We sat at the bar, as we had previously, and it took roughly 5-7 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. When the food arrived, we had to ask for napkins and silverware. Then, when we were ready to leave, it took another 10 minutes or so to get anyone's attention. I ultimately had to holler to people standing about five feet away just to get someone to close us out. Everyone was pleasant enough on the surface, but hospitality is about more than being friendly. It's about awareness, attention to detail, and making guests feel genuinely looked after. Maybe the mistake is sitting at the bar. I'm willing to consider that. But after giving this place a second opportunity following a very bad first experience, I expected the details to matter a little more. A restaurant earns loyalty through consistency--not just when everything goes perfectly, but especially when it doesn't. Unfortunately, this second visit left me with the same feeling as the first: disappointed, and still without a compelling reason to come back for a third try.

If you're not online, this place would go unnoticed but shoutout to the birthday boy, my friend, as he has been here before and talked about it a lot. The wait is over and I must say I've been missing out. Hidden from street view, this spot has a great outdoor patio space. Skeptical we had a table there because we were eating during peak triple digit heat, but the space had everything to ensure guests were comfortable. Ceiling fans that actually work and water misters that didn't leave a wet mess. Incomes the drinks and food. Happy hour always makes me happy. Snagged a lager and brisket tacos. One could say it looks basic and nothing special but boy is it flavorful. Decently sized chunks of brisket. Nothing melt in your mouth but had that softness that made it easy to chew. The pairing of the sauce was nice to balance out the saltiness of the meat. Grab them tissues cause it's a juicy one. A bit pricey, $12 for 2 tacos but def a nice splurge. Down to business. Burger choice for my first visit, definitely not the last, was The Peach Pit - that double patty, rosemary aioli, bacon crumbles, Swiss cheese, spinach, and our house made peach chutney, served on a toasted brioche bun. Solid choice. The beef was juicy, cooked to my liking (surprised they didn't ask how we liked ours cooked). The cross section of the burger is elite. Layers of ingredients adding to the flavors of each bite. I'm a sucker for Tabasco sauce so I couldn't really taste the peach chutney, but I do remember what I believe was a peach slice fall out of the burger. 10/10 would recommend. Just be prepared to use the napkins. It's a sauce/juicy one. Fries were standard. Crisp, fresh. My friends ordered other burgers that looked good. I was able to try some of the garlic fries and pesto sauce. Rich and tasty. Trust. I will be back for their burgers sooner than later. Who is with me? Let's gooooo! Come here on a special day and you may get a birthday card as well! Great effort Brahma!

If you cannot resolve a problem, or if it is an ongoing issue, you should escalate it to someone with the expertise and authority to address consumer concerns. The restaurant has outdoor seating and an interesting set up inside. As you walk in the bar is to the right with the kitchen in the far back. You have a small area with larger tables. Just to the left you have another room but smaller tables. At first my part was seated in the room with the small tables but knew our order, so we requested to be moved. Thankful there was a party that just left. Nachos with add-on brisket - we devoured it. There was a decent ratio of toppings as well as a healthy amount of brisket. Large pieces mostly hidden under the chips. This could be a meal on its own. 1lb fries with pesto and pulled pork - I wanted to like this. A generous portion of pulled pork to match but it was dry. The pesto aioli sauce didn't elevate or add anything. Just a subpar plate of fries. Three meat platter / double brisket (asked for fatty) and trip tip. Brisket was good, a little melt in your mouth but was lacking the smokiness and true bbq flavor you'd expect. Still a good protein. The trip tip was okay. It was cooked more than I'd like yet still a decent protein option. I def used the available condiments to elevate each bite. One thing to note - they charge for ranch, aioli sauces. Nothing that will break the bank but it would've been nice if the server mentioned it before serving us several containers of them. Overall a decent bbq spot. Is it the best? No. Is it good for this area? Sure. I'd come back for the nachos and the meat platter. Decent value for the amount of food. We walked away with leftovers which is a win in my books.
